And speak to us either in patterns, parables or clear cut languages we understand
I know how God communicates, but I repeat the other question you conveniently evaded answering, and it is:
Has God ever used a heavenly language/tongue (i.e. angelic tongue) to communicate with you or anyone else, for that matter?
Christianity Etc › Re: God Has Exposed The Charlatans Calling Themselves Pastors by MuttleyLaff: 8:42pm On Aug 11, 2020
BluntTheApostle:
One of the prophesies I always made here was that God would one day expose these charlatans calling themselves men of God.
In my teachings, I always mentioned that anyone who does God's work is a man of God irrespective of whether he calls himself a pastor or not. And in that regard, scientists are some of the true men of God.

Now, the whole world is looking up to the real men of God to find a solution to this devastating virus while the pastors remain quiet.

When it suits them, these charlatans tell their worshipers different fables of how they had tea with God Almighty and drove a car for hours on reserve. But when it comes to the time of practicals, they hide away.

They have been exposed for the charlatans that they are.

First of all, not even one of them saw the coming of this virus. Yet, a writer (who never claims to be specially called by God) saw the coming and even gave a specific year as way back as 2008. Another writer made an opening paragraph stating the country it would start from, as way back as 1981.

None of our supposed men of God (including the one who drank tea with God) saw it. God had tea with you but forgot the more pressing matters of a devastating virus coming to wreck havoc on the globe and on His church.

Whenever God came down to man, it was always over pressing matters, not to have tea.

God is God Almighty, and He will never share His glory with any man. Mark that word, if you are a gullible Christian. He will never share His glory with any man, not even your supposedly powerful Oyedepo or Adeboye.

Savage! I almost blurted out my tea

BluntTheApostle:
God has exposed them, and has elevated His real people, the scientists.
Do you know an astroid is hurtling toward earth as we speak, and it is coming in hot. Though, NASA has assured everyone that this astroid will not hit earth, but supposing it does, that would be the end of humanity as we know it. This astroid would fly past us in April. God only showed this to scientists through the instruments that He inspired them to build.
God has been using scientists to save us since the beginning of the ages, but we underappreciate them, and run to these charlatans to thank them for their prayers.

Open your eyes, and read the signs. There is only one God, and He is God Almighty. And His men are the scientists sacrificing their lives to keep us safe.
The pulpit, the Research and Development, laboratory and operating table have their time and place. The former and the latter trio, are meant to synergise. It is easy for the former and trio latter, to downplay, trivialise or undervalue each other. They aren't meant to operate in isolation nor be aloof towards each other.

MuttleyLaff:
"Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing.
He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father
"
- John 14:12

Out of curiosity, would you accept and agree that the promised John 14:12 and other genuine miracles happen outside the pulpit, churches and crusade grounds?
MuttleyLaff:
Just be mindful, not to restrict genuine miracles solely to the pulpit, church grounds and/or revival crusade grounds, because some miracles will never feature in such places

Heavens tongue is the angelic tongues which I believe Is now lost to humans
How does God, Himself, communicate with you? Has God ever used a heavenly language/tongue to communicate with you?

BOSSkesh:
Speaking and praying in tongues is basically the same thing oga
Don't confuse people
Abi ooo. When I speak in English and when I pray in English, I am using English in my speech and prayer

MuttleyLaff:
It is only some, lazy and indoctrinated Far-To-See (i.e. Pharisees) and Sad-To-See (i.e. Sadducees) somebody, looking for lesser praying effort, that believes that speaking in tongues, especially with using the voice and/or vocal cords, is praying in some mysterious heavenly language. This is shameless lazy and cutting corners manoeuvres praying things.

Also most importantly, are you aware that, Paul downplays the importance of speaking in tongues? He, Paul, on record, even said, do not speak in tongues without an interpreter, but this advice and guideline, is religiously, regularly and openly disregarded during gathering worships and/or prayer sessions like as seen in this instance

My brother, if you are 110% sure of what you know and are saying with this, then please put forward the bible verse you are quoting from for this and lets together carefully and thoroughly review it
MuttleyLaff:
It is delusion and make believe uttering gibberish and nonsensical noise, altenating between varying high voice pitches. When people are lazy to articulate their prayers, they resort to this quick fix alternate method to pray. I wonder why Jesus never employed this method, if it was that potent

Foreign Affairs › Re: Lebanon’s Government Resigns Over Beirut Blast by MuttleyLaff: 7:25am On Aug 11, 2020
CapitalHYC:
Lebanon’s premier Hassan Diab stepped down Monday amid fury within and outside his government over the deadly Beirut port blast he blamed on the incompetence and corruption of a decades-old ruling class.

“Today we are heeding the people and their demands to hold accountable those responsible for a disaster that has been concealed for seven years” he said in a televised address, blaming a “corrupt” political elite for the August 4 explosion.

“This is why today I announce the resignation of the government.”

Politics in multi-confessional Lebanon is dominated by former warlords from the 1975-1990 civil war who have exchanged their military fatigues for suits, or were replaced by relatives.

“Their corruption created this tragedy,” said Diab.

“Between us and change stands a thick wall protected by their dirty tactics,” he added.

Diab, who was named in December, is the second Lebanese premier to step down in 10 months.

His government, formed in January to tackle a spiralling economic crisis, has come under all-out attack since a port blast killed 160 people, wounded 6,000 others and ravaged swathes of Beirut.

Authorities say the explosion was triggered by a fire in a port warehouse where tonnes of volatile ammonium nitrate, a compound used primarily as a fertiliser, was left unsecured for years.

Many Lebanese want heads to roll over the tragedy they see as shocking proof of the rot at the core of their political system.

Before Diab’s announcement, four ministers had already decided they could no longer serve a government that had shown little willingness to take the blame or to put state resources at the service of the victims.

At least nine lawmakers have also announced they would quit in protest, as have two senior members of the Beirut municipality.

The August 4 explosion came as Lebanon was already reeling from an economic crisis that has seen its currency collapse, plunging swathes of its population into poverty, and struggling with a spike in coronavirus cases.

I could remember these people visited us at the hospital. During the naming ceremony, I looked at my back and saw Alasalatu, non believers and Christians. These are humans who are beyond religion and tribal segregations.

The pastor who held the service asked for a christian name because everything I presented to him were Yoruba names.... The name that came to my mind is Hephzibah. Later found it in Isaiah 62:4.

Isaiah 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Hephzibah is not a Christian Name but a Jewish name, with Jewish meaning. Many of what people term Christiann names are not Christian at all.
Names like Paul, Peter, James are Christian names...removed from their Jewish roots.
Which is why I earlier advanced that the pastor was ignorant and that FOLYKAZE should have stuck to his guns with the at hand Yoruba names. He could have added to her already Yoruba names, any of the following these: "AdunniOluwa" "Oluladunsimi" "Didunnimi" "Orisunadun" "Olutamiladun" "Adunlatokewa" "Aduntojọmiloju" "Adunlatoluwa" "Adunmare" "Oluladunsimi" "Oludunsimi" "Adunnilọmọ" "Adunbanle" "Adunfunkẹ" et cetera delight

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Possible That Each Individual Has Their Own God (chi)? by MuttleyLaff:
bigfrancis21:
Yes the Igbo spiritual mythology is correct on this one. Every person has a personal spirit guide who’s with us throughout our life journey. Igbos call it ‘chi’. Chioma originally meant one with a good guide or good destiny. This is the original concept of Chi before the advent of Christianity, which saw the meaning change to ‘God’. They watch over us and sometimes speak to us via several means during moments of help. There is a supreme creator and there are spirit guides, angels etc
CassieV:
Hi, can you go into more details on this please? I'm very interested in the topic.
CassieV:
I saw a previous post of yours where you talked about spiritguides and how they can take on a human form to help the soul they're guiding when they're in their greatest need.
Please dont get it twisted because it is only the Godhead, and celestial beings, seraphim, cherubim, extraterrestrial beings, at the authorisation of God, who take on human form (e.g. Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ) or take on what appears to look like human form (e.g. Angel of the Lord, extraterrestrial and celestial beings) to help the soul they're guiding when they're in their greatest need.

There is no recorded account of any other spirit bar the above listed Spirit and/or spirit of ever taking on human form. It is an impossicant!

CassieV:
And I've also heard about how we should always listen to our intuition because it's never wrong.
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world.
"
- 1 John 2:16

"The woman was convinced.
She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious,
and she wanted the wisdom it would give her.
So she took some of the fruit and ate it.
Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too
"
- Genesis 3:6

Learn from 1 John 2:16 and Genesis 3:6 Bible 101, never listen to any contrary intuition, at the expense of violating and not respect the word/command/law of God

CassieV:
Is it safe to say that the spiritguide, the intuition and the igbo Chi is the same?
"4For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
5For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is the LORD who made the heavens.
6Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary
"
- Psalm 96:5

"Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves molten gods.
I am the LORD your God
"
- Leviticus 19:4

"Now the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues
still did not repent of the works of their hands.
They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone,
and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk
.
"
- Revelation 9:20

"'How horrible it will be for the one who says to a piece of wood, "Wake up!"
and to a stone that cannot talk, "Get up!' "
Can that thing teach [anyone]?
Just look at it! It's covered with gold and silver,
but there's absolutely no life in it."
"
- Habakkuk 2:19

There is, only the Holy Spirit, that guides.

Dont allow an intuition, bereft of the guidance of the Holy Spirit, rise to any prominence.

In the Igbo cosmology and/or mythology, there are many or there are more than one "chi". The Igbos believe that there is a "chi" that creates and there are personal "chi(s)"

It would interest you to know that, in Igbo parlance, "chi" means god, guide, influence, intelligence et cetera and "ike or eke" means "create", "know-how" "divide", "force", "power", "energy", "might", "capacity", "ability" et cetera and so what's more interesting is the fact that, "chineke" is a portmanteau word, formed them two words "chi" and "ike or eke" and of course, it means, "guide that creates" "god who creates" or "god that creates" "god with know-how" "god with power, force energy, might, ability creates" et cetera

The Igbos, believe that, the reason for the existence of this "chi" is to create, hence why particularly, the "chi" is called creator or chineke (i.e. the guide and/or god, that creates)

Now, if you believe that this "chi" is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, who doesnt share His glory with any other "chi" then, the "chi" becomes "Chi", Chineke and/or Creator. There is no vacancy, for any other "chi," I am talking of no vacancy to fill, for personal "chi" here, except for "Chi"

"11For He will command His angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways
.
12They will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone
.
"
- Psalm 91:11-12

It is "Chi" who dispatches celestial beings aka angels, to watch over you. Personal "chi(s)" are not spiritguide(s) and they are unable to do or achieve anything.

Christianity Etc › Re: >>>speaking In Tongues!<<<| by MuttleyLaff:
BOSSkesh:
In grammatical sense "Tongues" means Languages
In Religious text "Tongues" means a language gift given to the faithful on the day of pentecost to spread further the message of the gospel.

Now let us look at the first case instance of the "tongue" speaking.
Acts ch2:3-4.TGNB It says "Then they saw what looked like Tongues of fire which spread out and touched each person there. They were filled with the holy spirit and began to talk in other languages, as the spirit enabled them to speak.

Now my problem is with people speaking nonsense in the name of tongues
I do not have this gift I know. But then it's funny to see people speaking >brakakasaaszutagsjsggwfrravsjkegbveurgh< and all other kind of nonsense in the name of speaking in tongues. And in the end we have more people blaspheming Gods name instead of praising Him
And if you try to protest they come with words like
"May God have mercy on you"
"You don't know things of the spirit"
"You must be possessed"
"Tongues are not for carnally minded people"
"You are not a child of God"
" You can't understand what we speak because you're not a child of God" etc

The gift of the holy spirit is not forced, it's not just another joke
the gifts of tongues is earned, it is merited. Only by being prayerful, bold, and pure of heart can we as Christian's be able to receive his gift of tongues to propagate his message to the end of the world (acts 1:4-8,John 20:20-23, luke 24:44-49, mark 16:14-18, Matt 28:16-20)

Now let us look at the reaction of the people in the Bible.
In Acts 2:5-13
The people all over them heard his own unique indigenous languages each group of people gathered there that day heard his own mother tongue. Imagine the surprised look on the faces of the traders from the east and west and north and south when the disciples spoke each of their native mother tongue. You can see in the text above that the people around clearly understood the disciples and the languages they spoke
A classic Nigerian when confronted will tell you that you have to acquire divine wisdom to hear the words they speak , please how can I translate grurumashathabalazokotobravosibalothi lol even the holy spirit is tired

God is not stupid to give the gifts of tongues. He gives it to few people who are ready to propagate his message

Do not believe the people who stand upon the alter speak rebrokontoribahoshikakakakaktattejjbvhrhehujindaboskibahose this people are blasphemous destroying the fine and wonderful gift of tongues

Instead let us pray to God to give us His gift of divine tongues to propagate his message

Oh, oh, your brain hasnt reset to factory default set yet. Abi?

Where are those your enthusiastic and vocal supporters to come read what you've written and give you a warm back slap well done son, good job son pat on the back, eh?

Of course, chukwu is your god. You, your shameless racist self and your ukwu god, would bow down in the presence of Jesus

You are a jumped-up wannabe, who right from the start had no legs to stand on with. You cant even spell correctly the name of your god. At least four times, it is you spelled it Chuwku. Smh, what do you think is going on there, eh, lol? Its Freudian slip dingbat. Why dont you go back and return after you've learnt how to properly spell your chukwu and not incorrectly four times spell it as chuwku. Can you imagine the dingbat misspelt the name of his god. No reverence, no respect, no honour, no attention to detail, well I am not surprised, it a dumb god and its dumb ignorant idol worshipper frosbel\2. It is because of careless people like you, that is one of the reasons, why God never revealed His personal name to anyone

I have told you earlier what chukwu really means and that it actually means ukwu god. Now here's an opportunity for you frosbel\2, to get educated, by me, freely from the goodness of my heart, on Igbo spirituality you ungrateful ignorant donkey, lol. Yes, let the opportunity present itself to you because I know that you never knew what I am about to share with you before. I know you never had any knowledge about this before now because your original post, the intro with the many misspelling of chuwku instead of chukwu, had aside the misspellings, wrong facts you typed that betrayed how feeble, inadequate and lack in depth you are. Take for example chukwu is not, never from the beginning was chukwu ever chineke, lol. Chineke quite alright, has you put it, is "God who creates" because according to Ndigbo mythtology, chineke, which means "chi" and "eke", lol hence chineke when the two Igbo words are combined, means "Creator" or "reason for the being", (i.e. eke god => god that creates)

Now the transition, upgrade and transformation of chukwu to an equal status and standing as chineke, only happened after Ndigbo have been Christianized, lol. Go ask your village elders frosbel\2 about this, lol, they'll even confirm that "chi," from where "chukwu" was formed from, indeed, is personal god, lol. They'll tell you and confirm all this. Listen man, I am saving you from yourself. You see, pikin wey no gree receive home training for hause, na for outside wey hin reach where public go teach am. This is your case, lol

I havent even scratched the tip of this whole matter, talkless touch the massive rest submerged body and you are doing "... bring out facts, evidence etcetera" If I should pull my hands out of the pocket, you will faint and collapse out of shame and embarrassment of your shortcoming.

At the level you’re at, you're a blind man, lol and the thing is you can't show light to a blind man, lol. Here's another thing to know about yourself frosbel\2 and that is a blind man can never see, he never can see how good you look, lol.

Hmm, go pick up "Things Fall Apart" just like I already had earlier advised you to, lol. Its not much, but it'll at least fill a little bit of your deficiency and knowledge gap of Ndigbo spirituality. Use it to brush up on chukwu too with, mister olodo-rapata-upon-twenty angry angry angry

Yorubas, by means of singular or conglomerate of verb(s), form names from a word or portmanteau, that describes a state, action or occurrence of the thing referred to. Fridge(s), in Yoruba parlance, is/are called "Ẹrọ amunu tutu or Ẹrọ-amunu-tutu" It is a portmanteau word formulated from translating "machine with a technology which gets the belly/stomach cold," that is what "Ẹrọ amunu tutu or Ẹrọ-amunu-tutu" means, as far as Yorubas are concerned, whenever object are taken from the fridge, eaten or drunk, it ends up making the stomach/belly cold

The English word, God, represents, a kaleidoscope of many meanings, but "OLODUMARE", in Yoruba parlance, is the name assigned to God, and it will interest enquiry minds, to know that "OLODUMARE" is a portmanteau word, formed from putting together, coming from an observation viewpoint, words that describes what this enigmatic and very powerful Supreme Being is.

The other alternate form names of "OLODUMARE" are: "Edumare" and "ElÈdumare"

"OLODUMARE" is also known as "ỌLỌRUN" In Yoruba parlance, "ỌLỌRUN" is another portmanteau word, which means "Owner of the heavens or sky expanse" or "Owner of the firmament" "OLO, ỌLỌ, OL' or ELÈ or EL'" means Owner, while "ỌRUN" means "the heavens or sky expanse" hence "ỌLỌ-RUN"

Cycling back to the portmanteau word "OLODUMARE" name of God, in Yoruba manner of speaking, the name is derived from the following words:
1/ "OLO" - means, Owner,
2/ "ODU" - means, mystery, mystical attributes, a thing or being that is mysterious. It also means energy
3/ "MA" - means, knows
4/ "RE" - actually is "ire" and means, blessing

So when, the words, OLO, ODU, MA and RE, are joined together, we have "OLODUMARE" revealing a profound and thoughtful deep meaning that indicates the truth and/or existence of an Energy, Supreme Spirit Being, who is not just the Owner of unique energy but also is in possession of mystery/mystical knowledge of all manners of blessing.

Since God is the highest level of energy. It is from this energy, that everything is created. In fact, Odu, directs all forces at all level of existence, hence, it is this same mystery and/or energy, that's the power behind the creation of all living and non-living things.

One of the most important of the mystical attributes of God is volition. Without volition, there is no God, and there won't be forces, natural laws, rules and/or principles

Profoundly observing, God has always being EL and this is evident in the Yoruba variant name of God, "ELÈdumare" The prefix EL, as previously intimated, means, Owner, an Influential Owner (e.g. Elijah is: My God, is Yahweh/YHWH, Elihu is: My God, is He, or Ọlọrunfẹmi is: God, loves me)

I dare say Yoruba beliefs and mythos is very rich. As I've earlier advanced, Chukwu, in Igbo cosmos, is a product formed from two Igbo words "chi" and "ukwu", that computes to mean big god or great god. Chukwu, in the real sense of it, isn't Yahweh, the God in the Bible but simply is a god, that now, so as to pretend, is taken to be YHWH or Yahweh, the God in the Bible

The Igbos, and the Yorubas, just as like the Men of Athens, inadvertently, just and unknowingly could, in their general consensus in the existence of a single creator, lol, be worshipping the true God (i.e. Acts 17:23-31)

Now, the thing is, God wants, us having a relationship with Him, and not having a relationshit with god(s) You cannot practice consulting the dead, practice ancestor worship or practice spiritism and be a follower of the one and only true God (i.e. Deuteronomy 18:10-13)
