Christianity Etc › Re: Christmas Was An Illegal Pagan Holiday In The US Until 1836. by MuttleyLaff: 11:26pm On Aug 02, 2020
donnie:
Christmas was illegal in the US until 1836 as it was considered an ancient pagan holiday. But it has been rebranding and made a Holy day in Christianity.
Jeremiah 10:3-5
For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
MuttleyLaff:
Why you can be told not to necessarily call yourself a Catholic aside that the term doesn't exist in the Bible is because God is denomination-agnostic, there is no denomination in heaven, lol. There is nothing like Methodist, Baptist, Evangelical, Protestant, Aladura, MFM, KICC, RCCG, Winners, Deeper Life, Penterascals, Christ Embassy, etcetera in heaven or better still the Kingdom of God, lol

False equivalence. Has pentecost, in light of what happened in the upper room, any specified date, that is chosen for that historic day and eventful moment to be remembered and/or celebrated ni? By the way, who in their right senses, goes around referring himself/herself as Penterascals/pentecostals sef anyway?

The sort of nonsense that must stop this 2019 o is rantings and ravings such as like this one. Why havent you wondered, why isnt any other date like, Nov 25th, Oct 25th, Sept 25th, Jan 25th or even sef any other day of month X not picked or selected for celebration. Why particularly is the day December 25th chosen for selection as Jesus' birthdate, lol?

If you accept and agree to the use of the Bible to validate or invalidate any religious practice, based upon "biblical theology" then why havent you considered that, the deliberate omission of the exact date of our Lord and Savior, Son of God, Jesus Christ's birth day, must have by divine providence, been done on purpose, hmm? What afterall is "biblical theology"? Isnt it the study of God from the Bible, hmm? If so, then tell where from your studying God in the bible, it says, to pick and/or select a date, to celebrate the birth and/or death of our Lord and Savior, Son of God, Jesus Christ, lol, hmmm?

The birth and/or death of our Lord and Savior, Son of God, Jesus Christ is a thing to be acknowledged, valued, appreciated, celebrated and be thankful of, not just only on Christmas day, but it should be a daily, everyday affair. Everyday is a day to rejoice.

It is true, not many know the background, that the first 300 years of what we know as Christianity, there wasnt any Christmas (i.e. no Christ's mass.) It just never existed, it wasn't so. It actually was Roman Emperor, Constantine who commandeered the pagan festival of Saturnalia to be converted and used to celebrate the birth of Christ, hence the December 25th that we have that pretends to be Jesus’ birthday, lol. Why didnt Fada Oluoma, look up on the internet first, what went on during the December 17-25 week long pagan feast, lol, holiday celebration of Saturnalia, lol and compare with Christmas festive period activites today, lol?
MuttleyLaff:
jamesid\29, you want precise facts, right? OK then, let's go straightaway there, lol. First and foremost, jamesid\29, you err, when you typed, that there was no official festivity associated with them. jamesid\29, c'mon now, what about all these Christmas paraphernalia? Are they too, like Christmas tree, the decorations, the burning fire yule log etcetera, devoid of pagan influence too, lol?

While its true, others, previously before Constantine, have been romancing with the idea of picking a day for the celebration of Jesus' birth, it actually was Roman Emperor, Constantine who commandeered the pagan festival of Saturnalia to be converted and used to celebrate the birth of Christ, hence the December 25th that we have that pretends to be Jesus’ birthday, lol. It is a fact, that, before the year 336 AD, there is no record of December 25th being observed as the birth of Jesus, in Rome. The church in Rome began formally celebrating Christmas on December 25 in 336, during the reign of the emperor Constantine.

Constantine, having made Christianity, effectively the state religion of the empire, chose this date December 25th, as part of a political move to weaken the established popular pagan celebrations and Roman festival, the December 17-25 week long pagan feast, called the Saturnalia, that's characterised with people feasting and exchanging gifts with each other. Incidentally, also December 25th, is the birthday of the Indo-European deity Mithra, a god of light and loyalty and at that time, was increasingly achieving cult status with the Roman soldiers.

Starting on December 17 and lasting seven days, Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture, is being honored, lol, then starting on December 25 and lasting through January 1, commemorates the birth of Mithras, the Persian god of light, lol, but Constantine merged these two traditions from these festivals with the Nativity story in the Bible and the rest is history on how Christmas was born, lol.

I am saying this, in the real sense of the word, it was Constantine who commissioned, the building of the Church of the Nativity on a spot in Bethlehem assumed to be the exact birthplace of Christ. Check out the below excerpt, on who then, first made Christmas official and declared December 25th a civic holiday, lol.

"While there is one record of Christmas being celebrated in Antioch (Turkey) on December 25 in the middle of the second century, there is no record of its being observed on that date in Rome until the year 336 AD. In 350 AD Pope Julius I declared December 25 the official date and in 529 AD Emperor Justinian declared Christmas a civic holiday. Further legislation by the Council of Tours in 567 AD officially made Advent a period of fasting and preparation; the time from Christmas to Epiphany (the twelve days of Christmas) was also declared part of the festive season"
Excerpt from: https://www.lnstar.com/mall/main-areas/xmas-not-first-choice.htm

jamesid\29, in your comments, you said, they are your own personal opinion, that "it's unclear as to when Christ was born as the Bible doesn't give us much information and it's also true that the early church didn't record celebrating the birth of Christ".

OK, let's go there on this comment too, lol. Lets separate facts from opinions but I'll start first, by reproducing here a quote of mine pasted here, taken from one of my posts on another thread

jamesid\29, I think, "the elephant in the room" is what you called what's just being touched in the above quote, lol.

Opinions change, but facts don't, they never do jamesid\29, because they're based on reality. jamesid\29, lol, listen, if I should it break down, and by that, I mean embark to speak or write in detail about how Jesus was born in September/October, how one gets to know what month Jesus was conceived etcetera for you, ol'boy, your personal opinion(s), in the face of the presented facts, and there are a sizeable amount of these facts, will expressly change ooo and you'll pronto withdraw them, lol, yet, I am, all for, let sleeping dogs lie and not rocking the table, not discuss the matter any further, lol.

Shepherds looking after their sheep in the field (i.e. Luke 2:16-17)

There is no exact number of the visiting wise men available, as this info weren't given in the Bible, so the answer is unknown number of wise men visited Jesus, and three out their unknown numbers gave Him gifts.

He received three gifts, namely Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh

Jesus was somewhere/anywhere up to two years old. Even, King Herod too, isnt sure, which is why he commanded babies from age zero up to 2 years old to be slaughtered

Ahahahah. Interestingly and fyi, the wise men from the East, were in fact, magicians (i.e. magi) lol. Remember Daniel was promoted to be boss of a bunch of them Magi by King Nebuchadnezzar, lol

Here's another fyi, that many arent aware of and that is concerning Job, did you know that, Job, was by the Bible, said to be that man, the greatest of all the sons of the East, lol?.

You're not alone. December 25th is just like every other day to me, for me and everyone in our household. You'll soon have an idea why, if you continue reading on and read on to the end, lol

Slim\Brawnie, you say, no one knows the exact date of Jesus' birth, but with evidences from scripture we are able to pin it down to sometime and somewhere in the month of September, lol. He, as a matter of fact, was born in the month of September, Slim\Brawnie, lol.

The shepherds who had gone to visit him in the manger, would have done so in the month of September/October, lol.

ee\dimo, Slim\Brawnie and Young\Lionken, what do you each think Nimrod means in Hebrew. Nimrod, fyi ee\dimo, Slim\Brawnie and Young\Lionken, is an archetype of Satan, lol and as a matter of fact, December 25th is his birthday, and so by extension and even proxy, Satan's birthday actually it is too December 25th, lol. I am sensing you saying, but God created Satan long before our calendar days ever got going, lol. Yeah, that is true and you'll be right but remember Nimrod, that Nimrod is an archetype of Satan, hmm? lol.

The bad and unsavoury taste in the mouth doesnt stop there, Satan even covets the Sabbath day, by going after it, hence we have Saturday (i.e. Saturn's day, lol)

Every day is a day to celebrate the birth/death of our Lord and Savior, the Son of God Jesus Christ. It is not only on Christmas day. Christmas day was originally a Pagan festival. Constraint of time and space would not allow me to open up here the can of worms of Christmas day celebration proper and to spill out its ugly contents.

Let's go back a step or two, to see how much of a liar Satan is and to take a look at one of Satan's diversionary tactics. We are going to delve on to October 31st, lol. Yeah, spill the beans on Halloween, baby, lol. Satan will want to give you a false sense of security, by distracting any suspicious attention away from December 25 and diverting the attention on to October 31st, make you believe that October 31st is Satan's birthday and that December 25th is Jesus', lol.

ee\dimo, Slim\Brawnie and Young\Lionken, yeah, everyday is Satan's day on this earth, until rapture, just like Olugbenga1234 has rightly above put it, but every day is a day, the Lord has made too and so we should rejoice and be glad in every single day, everyday, and not just one day whether its October 31st, December 25th or whatever day it is set aside for "celebration." The steadfast love of God never ceases, His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning, every day, great is His faithfulness, so why cant we celebrate everyday, instead of settling for just one day, a day like just particularly only December 25th, lol, erhn? Have you ever wondered why the powers that be selected December 25th and not November 25th, October 25th, September 25th, January 25th etcetera, hmmm, lol?

"5In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable.
6Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God.
10So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.
"
- Romans 14:5-6 & 10

Yep, ee\dimo, Slim\Brawnie and Young\Lionken, we are cognisance of Romans 14:5-6 & 10 above, which is why no one is being judged or condemned for celebrating Jesus on December 25th, neither is anyone being judge or condemned for not joing in celebrating Jesus on December 25th, but just are merely giving a perspective view on some behind the scene and not usually discussed camouflaged real facts of December 25th, lol. Just gave a snapshot bird's-eye view, as in meaning, just the bones without the meat on, lol.

Happy festive period y'all, lol

I am pleased to see you had the good sense of leaving "the true face of Christ" in inverted commas, because the painting, is not the true face of Christ, but is based on the Veil of Veronica - the cloth believed to have been used to wipe sweat off Jesus's face as He went to His crucifixion. The painting of Jesus is based on the Veil of Veronica, a sweat cloth said to have had an imprint of His face. Various existing images have been claimed to be the original relic, as well as early copies of it; representations of it are also known as vernicles.

According to legend, a follower dabbed Jesus's face with the cloth as He bore His cross, imprinting His likeness on to it. The handful of paintings, which were then based on it, are therefore thought to be actual likenesses of Jesus's face. This particular one, had even been blessed, by Pope Leo XIII.

The Veil of Veronica, that you so much are keen to adopt, embrace and warm to, is a Catholic relic, which, according to legend, bears the true likeness of Jesus Christ. However, the story is not recorded in its present form until the Middle Ages.

circa 1470, The Veil of Veronica, as depicted by 15th-century artist Hans Memling

I am pleased to see you had the good sense of leaving "the true face of Christ" in inverted commas, because the painting, is not the true face of Christ, but is based on the Veil of Veronica - the cloth believed to have been used to wipe sweat off Jesus's face as He went to His crucifixion. The Veil of Veronica, that you so much are keen to adopt, embrace and warm to, is a Catholic relic, which, according to legend, bears the true likeness of Jesus Christ. However, the story is not recorded in its present form until the Middle Ages.

The most recent version of the legend recounts that Saint Veronica from Jerusalem encountered Jesus as He walked down the Via Dolorosa bearing His cross on the way to Calvary. When she paused to wipe the sweat off His face with her veil, His image was imprinted on the cloth.

The event is commemorated as the sixth Station of the Cross. According to some versions, Veronica later travelled to Rome to present the cloth to Emperor Tiberius. It is believed the veil possesses miraculous properties, being able to quench thirst, cure blindness, and sometimes even raise the dead.

It was not until the fourteenth century 'The Veronica' became a central icon in the Western Church.

This wall painting, depicting the Healing of the Paralytic, is the earliest known representation of Jesus, dating from about 235 AD. The painting was found in 1921 on the left-hand wall of the baptismal chamber of the house-church at Dura-Europos on the Euphrates River in modern Syria. It is now part of the Dura Europos collection at the Yale University Gallery of Fine Arts.

Does this look like the tall, handsome, long hair blue-eyed devil you thieves have turned him into?

The Healing of the Paralytic – one of the oldest possible depictions of Jesus, from the Syrian city of Dura Europos, dating from about 235 AD.

The oldest known portrait of Jesus, found in Syria and dated to about 235 AD, shows him as a beardless young man of authoritative and dignified bearing. He is depicted dressed in the style of a young philosopher, with close-cropped hair and wearing a tunic and pallium—signs of good breeding in Greco-Roman society. From this, it is evident that some early Christians paid no heed to the historical context of Jesus being a Jew and visualised him solely in terms of their own social context, as a quasi-heroic figure, without supernatural attributes such as a halo (a fourth-century innovation)

1st Corinthians 12:
8- For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9-  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10- To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.

I believe we are in the last days and there's going to be a mighty outpouring of the Spirit of God. This means many Christians are going to be endued with different gifts of the Spirit, and this is what motivated this write up.
The gifts of the Spirit can be divided into 3 categories for better understanding.

1- The gifts of revelation.
a - Word of knowledge
b - Word of wisdom
c - discerning of spirits.

2- The gifts of power.
a - gift of faith
b - working of miracles
c - gifts of healings

3- The gift of inspiration ( utterance)
a - prophecy
b - diverse kinds of tongues
c - interpretation of tongues.
"Now to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit, for the common profiting."
- 1 Corinthians 12:7

The mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit of God, was promised circa 2000 years ago, this means many believers since then to date have already and have been endued with different modes and/or means of manifestation, if not all, of these gifts of the Holy Spirit.

It is the Lord's doing that you are motivated to do this write up so to wake up the saints, to the realisation that, each and all of these spiritual gifts, of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, are for the common profiting, the common good, to benefit all or most about and is not for one's own personal profit or pleasure

Good day.

Brandstudio/01, there is nothing wrong in thinking about suicide. Big men in the bible often approached God thinking of suicide. Job, who suffered greatly after God gave Satan permission to attack, at Job 6:8-9 and Job 7:15-16 had suicidal thoughts. Elijah, at 1 Kings 19:4 above, had suicidal thoughts after being overwhelmed by Jezebel's hostility and ill-treatments. Jonah at had suicidal thoughts at Jonah 4:3 and would you believe it Brandstudio01, that even Jonah vehemently, in Jonah 4:9, restated this to God's face, hmm? Jeremiah another big man, out of frustration, actually in Jeremiah 20:14, like Job did in Job 3:3, cursed the day he was born. He further in Jeremiah 20:18 queried why at all he was born, lol. I am sorry I laughed, when its not really a laughing matter. Depression is a serious thing. It is a moment when one is not anymore thinking right

We are permited to indulge in going doolally crazy at times, only that it shouldnt get the better of us. How long will you continue to pick random quotes out of apocrypha books to support your absurd arbitrary perspective and obsession that Jesus is black-skinned. How many times do you need told that, Jesus and the Israelites are neither black-skinned or white-skinned. They aren't Africans, for crying out loud.

"His body was like beryl
(i.e. a golden brown to yellow colour, a variety of treatments may make topaz, wine red, pale gray, reddish-orange)
His face like the appearance of lightning, His eyes like torches of fire,
His arms and feet like burnished bronze (i.e. yellowish-brown alloy of copper) in color,
and the sound of His words like the voice of a multitude
"
- Daniel 10:6

"His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace,
and His voice was like the roar of many waters
"
- Revelation 1:15

The is reddish-brown/golden brown to yellow colour is consistent in Daniel 10:6 and Revelation 1:15. The body, the arms and feet are not black, are not white, but are reddish-brown/golden brown to yellow colour.

The 2nd-century Rabbi Ishmael described the Jewish skin color like this:
“The Children of Israel—may I be their atonement!
—are [mostly] like boxwood, neither dark nor light, but intermediate
(i.e. like the boxwood tree (eshkeroa), neither black nor white, but in between)
” (i.e. refer to Mishnah Negaim 2:1 - Sefaria)

The oldest surviving panel icon of Christ Pantocrator, encaustic on panel, circa 6th century, showing the appearance of Jesus that is still immediately recognised today.

Jewish men on Roman coins

Jewish men with the “philosopher” look are portrayed on Roman coins issued by the Emperors Vespasian and Titus. The Romans destroyed Jerusalem and annihilated the Israelites in 70 AD. It actually was Titus under the leadership of his father, who was the conqueror of Jerusalem on that fateful 70 AD. He succeeded his father Vespasian upon his death.

Pope Alexander VI, born Rodrigo de Borja, was Pope from 11 August 1492 until his death in 1503. I am sure, those reddish-brown Mediterranean images of Jesus from the 6th and 10th centuries, couldn't have been commissioned by Pope Alexander VI from the future 14th century that he was born, lmao.

I suppose Baba would say he is a black Israelite, same way as Abraham, Jesus and true born real McCoy Israelites are, lmao.
Baba, who are your ancestors from out of the three sons of Noah, namely Ham, Shem and Japheth please?
There is a colloquial in African, that says: "Its only a bastard, who points with a left hand, the direction to his/her ancestral family house"
MuttleyLaff:
Never mind that, don't get your knickers in a twist because of the "Black Israelites" lmao, but I suppose, you would say, you're an Israelite, who is black skinned, the same way, as Adam, Abraham, Jacob, Esau, king David, king Solomon, Jesus and other true born real McCoy Israelites are black skinned, lmao, hmm?
donnie:
That's a terrible lie manufactured by racists and propagated by black coons. If it was irrelevant, why did they change the image? Up until 1500s all images where black. Irrelevant indeed. undecided
Baba, you and your big fat korokoro bare faced lies are no different to Reno Omokirikiri

All the images above, are not black skinned and they are pre 1500s, going as far back as the 3rd, 4th, 5th ... 13th 14th centuries.

Smh, who are you calling "black coons," hmm? Common, plain ordinary soot, looking for who to call pot and/or kettle. If there is anyone who befits to be called a coon, you are most suited because you are undignified, your conduct is shameful, deplorable and beyond contempt. You are in dire need to grow the fruit of the Holy Spirit (i.e. Galatians 5:22-23) in you.

First and foremost, jamesid29, you err, when you typed, that there was no official festivity associated with them. jamesid\29, c'mon now, what about all these Christmas paraphernalia?

Further legislation by the Council of Tours in 567 AD officially made Advent a period of fasting and preparation; the time from Christmas to Epiphany (the twelve days of Christmas) was also declared part of the festive season"

jamesid\29, in your comments, you said, they are your own personal opinion, that "it's unclear as to when Christ was born as the Bible doesn't give us much information and it's also true that the early church didn't record celebrating the birth of Christ".

SlimBrawnie, you say, no one knows the exact date of Jesus' birth, but with evidences from scripture we are able to pin it down to sometime and somewhere in the month of September, lol. He, as a matter of fact, was born in the month of September, Slim\Brawnie, lol.

The shepherds who had gone to visit him in the manger, would have done so in the month of September/October, lol.

eedimo, Slim\Brawnie and YoungLionken, what do you each think Nimrod means in Hebrew.

Primesky:
Quoting all the scriptures accurately does not necessarily mean that one is correct about God's word.

*Tithing began before Isreal, and before the law.

*On What basis are we going to stop tithing, who said it, and where?.

* If we are to pick parts of the Bible that applies to us as gentiles, what parts would those be, seeing that we also claim the blessings and promises made to the Jews?.

* According to Paul, we the gentiles, were engrafted into the main tree through christ, if that be the case, there can not be any separation between Jews and gentiles as one root and stem supply us all with the same nutrients.

Clearly, after the death of Christ, some things where clearly abolished, and where clear from the scripture. No one will argue about animal sacrifices for atonement of sin and some others.

*How was tithing stopped and who stopped it?.
Before answering the question, let's acknowledge and get a few things into perspective first
1/ Abram, before becoming Abraham, was a worshipper of idols, an idolater, in short.
2/ Child sacrificing to these idols was a common and prevailing practice then and Abram was accustomed to it
3/ Deuteronomy 12:30-31 was formalized 400 years plus after the historic Abraham's near-sacrifice of his son Isaac
4/ It is a well known historical and documentated fact that Abram tithed in line with the prevailing Mesopotamia custom to tithe
Artifacts shows and testifies to heathens practice of tithing. Like few other things, tithing was a status quo, same as child sacrifices and/or ritualistic killing of children with Abraham then.

MuttleyLaff:
Tithing originated from a Mesopotamia practice that prevailed pre and post the Abraham's living days. Abraham paid tithe after winning a fighting battle over four kings. The practice and onus was upon the victor of such or any battle/war to give a tenth of the spoils of war to a reputable priest cum ruler of his/her choice. Abraham decided that Melchizedek is his choice, so paid the tenth/tithe to him, received a blessing, and the rest of the story is now history.

Melchizedek was a ruler cum priest of the Most God, but didn't know God same way Abraham did or have the same kind of relationship Abraham had with God. This is evidenced on how Abraham corrected Melchizedek after he misaddressed God

MuttleyLaff:
Christians and believers can tithe if they so decided in their heart and are not coerced, being forced people to give, aren't getting threatened with fear of curses, calamity or misfortune if they don't give an imposed and/or obligatory ecclesiastical monitised tithe giving. As long as specified financial demands aren't forced on people, it isn't a prob. If people willing and on their own initiative give tithe, that's OK

Let's just go there. There really is no stipulated/specific percentage on giving, for believers. All God requires, is a cheerful giving, that you decide in your heart without being forced or coerced to give. As a matter of fact, it is any amount that you're comfortable with and be in accordance to the level of grace you've received, only that there is a caveat that whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously

The Greek original word, "die", used in Matthew 23:23, means, it is necessary, to tithe
and so when that necessity is over, that obligation, duty or responsibility to tithe, is no longer required or needed
It was under that or those then present circumstances, that people like al\BHAGDADI dont understand, that Jesus says to tithe, and not the thereafter

People like al\BHAGDADI and others, dont want to recognise that the only tithes used to be given to God were:
1) the Levitical tithe aka Mosaic Law tithe, which are given to God via the priest (e.g. Levite)
and
2) the Abraham type of tithe, given to God, via a priest cum king (e.g. Melchizedek)
- see #3 below

Other tithes in a secular world context (i.e. tenth, 1/10, 10% and possibly 0.1) also given are:
1) At pagan temples to priest(s) (note al\BHAGDADI extra biblical references will be provided upon your request, same with #3 below)
2) Upon the king's demand's (note al\BHAGDADI bible references also will be provided upon your request)
3) To a local ruler cum priest of a god or God, worthy of the consideration, after taking up arms, go to fight and winning battle fight(s) or war slaughering enemies

Now this is breaking it further down for easier understanding for the likes of al\BHAGDADI and others
1) There is obligatory tithe imposed by the Mosaic law (i.e. the Levitical tithe also known as the Mosaic Law tithe)
2) There is obligatory tithe imposed by the christian gatherings law
(i.e. ecclesiastical tithe, where christian gatherings, taxes its members tenth, 1/10, 10% and possibly 0.1 too, of their financial income)
3) There is obligatory tithe imposed by custom law (i.e. Abraham's tithing was done, due to the social setting of that time)
4) There is obligatory tithe imposed by monarchy law (i.e. tenth of seed and of vineyards, given to the king's officials and servants)

Now, there is another, which is voluntary tithe,
The nuance in this sort of tithe or tithing, is that it isn't imposed by the Mosaic law, not by christian gatherings law or by any custom law. For the attention of Horlufemi, this one, this so called "voluntary tithe" happens or occurs, when FREELY, one DECIDES to GIVE, a tenth of one's financial standing, as a form of contribution or donation toward's any Kingdom purposes, aid or means. In fact, the beauty and tithing subtle difference, is that, it is NOT obligatory or imposed

Bible writers and God use the terms, tenth and tithe interchangeably. So if I voluntarily give 10%, a tenth or 10 out 100 of my money contribution or donation toward's Kingdom purposes, aid or means, I technically have given a tithe. Considering that it is not a taxed, obligatory or imposition tithe, then I am free, to go ahead voluntarily giving it

All tithes or tithings, are a form of giving but NOT all giving are a tenth, tithe or tithing because the giving could be more or less than a tenth, tithe or tithing

The Bible's message today, is about a revolutionary way of giving, where believers are instructed or urged as in 2 Corinthians 9:7 above

Giving could be 50% today, as in 50% equals half of your money
Giving could be 10% next month, as in 10% equals a tithe, tenth, or 10 out 100 of your money
(i.e. voluntary tithe, voluntarily giving 10%)
Giving could be 100% following month, as in 100%, equals all of your money
Giving could be 0% following month after, as in 0%, equals zero goes out of your money
Could decide to give 1% month following after, as in 1%, equals 1 out 100 of your money
The giving cycle is not fixed, it might repeat or not repeat itself
How much you give, changes according to the amount or percentage, you willingly over the passage of time, decide to give

It is the freedom, to give whatever you're comfortable with cheerfully. This sort of giving regardless of the percentages is desirable but not obligatory. Without stipulating amounts to give, you're are being trusted to know, to do the 3 right things

You must each decide in your heart how much to give.
And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure.
(i.e. you shouldn't be sorry that you gave or feel forced to give)
"For God loves a person who gives cheerfully."

- 2 Corinthians 9:7

It is obligatory, taxed or imposed tithing that Christians cannot tithe

It is imposed tithing, it is dead with the law and believers are not obligated to perform any form of imposed tithing

What al\BHAGDADI and others he is in cahoot with dont want to correctively preach, is that the Bible teaches the "church" the revolutionary way of giving, where believers are instructed or urged in 2 Corinthians 9:7 above, to do

2 Corinthians 9:7, by the way actually, is a rehashed principle God HAS always endorsed, as evident in Exodus 25:2, Exodus 35:29, Deuteronomy 15:10 & 1 Chronicles 29:9

al\BHAGDADI and anyone can go check out Exodus 25:2, Exodus 35:29, Deuteronomy 15:10 & 1 Chronicles 29:9 to find out that God is doing a full circle with this give as you determine in your heart without being under compulsion

dalass:
Happy Sunday to all Nairalanders.

Congratulations to us all. By God's special grace, we're seeing the last Sunday in July despite all the evil happenings all over. To God be the glory!

Sabbath is biblical and observed by Jews from sun down on Friday till sundown on Saturday.

It was ordained by God as the day in which He rested after creating the heaven and earth in six days.

Sabbath was really made by God for mankind because God

- Does not sleep or slumber He doesn't get tired like we do. He's a Spiritual supernatural being. We are flesh and we get tired, hence we do need rest.
- God wants a day to have us to Himself without the distractions that trading or other activities bring into worship.
- Every living thing God made needs to rest to avoid breaking down.
- There is a place of rest in God spiritually that we need to enter for our own peace of mind. It is possible to lay down and try to sleep but if your spirit/ mind is not at rest ( busy or worried) you won't sleep!
MuttleyLaff:
"Then Jesus declared,
“The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
(i.e. The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people,
and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath)
"
- Mark 2:27

Mark 2:23-27, contextually, even shows how our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world, Jesus Christ, explains, that God did not have the Sabbath and then man to serve this day. That, the Sabbath, actually and/or in the first place, was made to serve man and to be for his/her benefit, as well, as being. Our bodies are not concrete, cement nor wood. We need to rest, so to regain expended strength and power so to manage and/or maintain our health, well-being and wellness. The other truth of the whole Sabbath matter, is that God didnt necessarily have to rest, but He, leading by example, did. He acted in this way, to show us how to act. Leave to us we will work round the clock, running and chasing after money until we run ourselves down, run out of steam and then unceremoniously fall to the ground and prematurely just like that drop dead. You dont lead, "thou shall not... thou shall keep my ...," by lip service, you lead by example. The "lead by example," is not the main thing, in positively influencing us, it is the only thing, lol. Leading by example is the most powerful advice you can give to anyone, and so after the sixth day, God rested on the seventh, lol

"Let no man disturb you about food or about drink or in the distinctions of feasts and beginnings of months and Sabbaths,
(i.e. Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days)
"
- Colossians 2:16

"And after the sabbaths, it being dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb."
- Matthew 28:1

Now, my two beloved, lovingly dear loggerhead with each other brothers shade\yinka and blue\Agent, locking horns on the matter of when is Sabbath in regards to being Saturday, Sunday or whatever day, let me draw an image to conjure up a picture in your minds to illustrate, whats going on here. I remember, when young and growing up as a child or kid, lights out was 9pm or 21:00 hours. This means, whether, I feel like it or not, whether I want to or not, it meant it was bedtime. It was not open to discussion, no debates, no arguments, it just was not negotiable other than I have to be in bed by 9pm or 21:00 hours, BUT, lol, when I finally came of age, when I transitioned from childhood to adulthood, when I have developed completely and reached maturity, I didnt necessarily have to stick to that 9pm or 21:00 hours lights out and bedtime seemingly unarbitrary order, lol.

The 9pm or 21:00 hours lights out and bedtime, seemingly unarbitrary order, lol, was made for me and my siblings, not my siblings and I for the 9pm or 21:00 hours lights out and bedtime, seemingly unarbitrary order. It was a laid down rule, set there for our needs, not us for its needs. Our needs, like for example, to refreshen our tired bodies, you of course, know when we were kids, how full of beans and/or energy we are, growing u, jumping up here and there, rolling and runnning up all over the place, tumbling down the hill etcetera.

The long and short of the nolstagic story, is that, now that we are grown, now that we've matured in sense, wisdom and become disciplined. sometimes we go to bed before 9pm or 21:00 hours, after 9pm or 21:00 hours, at 9pm or 21:00 hours and surprisingly, maybe with lights on, lol. The reality now, is that the hard and fast rule is no more there. At my age, it is now flexible, is what Colossians 2:16 above is saying, and no man can judge me for when and how I choose to have my rest (i.e. sabbath)

By the way, the plural sabbath in Colossians 2:16 and Matthew 28:1 above, this particularly serving as a fao of another brother, going by the moniker name donnie, is not talking about the seventh day rest but all days of rest which includes the seventh day (i.e. Saturday). There are sabbaths that dont fall on the Saturday, but actually do fall during the week and/or in mid week, lol.

What are we saying here, what is the point made here, lol brethren blue\Agent, shade\yinka and my dear pleasing and warm-hearted donnie, lol, it is that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way, lol (i.e. John 4:23) For God has qualified us and made us competent as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life, lol (i.e. 2 Corinthians 3:6)

Another quick one, before I close on this. I confidently am sure, each one of you knows about the implication of double solid white lines on our roads, lol. You know about obeying the letter of the double solid white lines law behind it, lol. What of, when to obey the spirit of the double solid white lines law, lol?

As a rule of thumb, I simply don't tell people what to think, I let and/or leave them to think and/or see things out for themselves, lol. I beam a high powered torchlight out for them to see things, the subject, its shape, the intricate body outlines etcetera, what's under the bonnet, whats in the boot, what in the engine, lol by themselves. The time is now, if ever there is a time, to rightly divided the Word of truth. There is no better time than right now for the truth to prevail. It's just heart breaking to watch and see that the light of the truth, can be harsh to those that have been far too long in the dark. Smh, brings mist to my eyes, all this. There are two kinds of light, the glow that illuminates, sheds light upon something for people to clearly see and the glare that obscures because people squint and shut their eyes, as the truth is too harsh for their eyes to see with, lol.
"The Sabbath was made for man,
not man for the Sabbath
"
- Mark 2:27

Jesus, in Mark 2:27 above, was teaching the principle about the Sabbath rest, that it was instituted to relieve man of his labors, just as He came to relieve us of our attempting to achieve salvation by our works. As it is now, we no longer rest for only one day, but we forever stop our laboring to attain God’s favor by ourself, by our own works oand/or by our own righteousness/merit. Jesus is our Sabbath rest from works now, just as He is the door to heaven, where we will rest in Him forever

Which day do you observe yours? (Friday Saturday or Sunday)
It isn't restricted or limited to Friday Saturday or Sunday

Why do you worship or rest on that particular day of the week?
It is as the spirit leads

We Christians haven't really understood the place of the law and until we give it it's rightful place, the ultimate plan of God will elude us. As Muttleylaff rightly said, the statutes of God are eternal. Not a single iota of the Torah will pass away until all are fulfilled in Christ(Mt5:18). We should aim to fulfill the Sabbath now through faith in Christ. Just as Paul points out, there is a Sabbath ahead for every believer to labour to enter after their initial faith(Heb4:1, 9-11).
What is the Sabbath? It is the rest we come to where we no longer work but God does all the work in us as seen in the Lord Jesus(Jn14:10). It is experiencing this same oneness He had with the Father where EVERYTHING in our lives springs out from His work within(Jn17:21)
We labour to enter it by seeking God daily, surrendering everything to Him, growing in prayer until He perfects this work in us and we no longer do these but He does all.

Let no one be deceived, we can never enter into this rest until we have truly surrendered our entirety to God.

There is an underlying assumption you seem to take for granted with your question, which I do not, which is that an entity called devil actually exists.

A non-existing thing can not be good nor evil, and you'd find the entity you call devil always has a human agent through whom it seems to work, which just makes me think it is humans abrogating responsibility for the evil they themselves do.

I do not believe period
Please be more explicit budaatum. Do you believe that the devil is evil or is not evil?

budaatum:
I know that people do evil things for various reasons like, ignorance, greed, stupidity, selfishness etc, and these are what I call devil, as in that which motivates one to be ignorant, greedy, stupid, selfish; while God is that in one that makes one do good.

As is written, God created humans in God's own image which includes God's image of being a Trinity which makes humans a trinity of good, bad and the will to choose between the two which Christ embodied. It is a separation that humans gradually came to realise over the centuries, as is shown by the Trinity itself not coming into human consciousness until Christ embodied that which is God. Before it, there was only the duality of good and evil, and there are some who believe we just have not yet come to understand that God and God's creations might be a QUATERNITY or more.

It is this that allows me to consider Genesis 3 might be a misunderstanding by its writers or translators. A being that sets "boundaries and/or limits" by enslaving people naked in gardens and deprives them of knowledge sounds more like boko haram than God, and the so called serpent sounds like chain freeing Logos the Christ, to me.

Note. Beliefs are no substitute for knowledge nor understanding but the lazy acceptance that a thing is so with no collaborative evidence to support the claim one makes. None of the above is a belief but a search for understanding.

C.f. Skepticism Vs Zombiesm - Which Is Good?
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth,
for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks
"
- John 4:23

I repeat that the glaring fact in all this budaatum, was that Adam and Eve, the serpent found it just too difficult to own up and have their hands raised up in the air, to say they did wrong, going against God's expressed command, not to eat of the fruit from the TKGE, dare I say, not to eat off the fruit from the TKGE before the hour has come (i.e. John 2:4)

Adam and Eve weren't ignorant, they weren't being enslaved, they weren't beholden within the "boundaries and/or limits set", we all have free will and so the liberty to take or make our own choices. This aspect of A&E exercising freewill budaatum, was them undergoing a willpower test, as it were, it's something like, give a cat a bowl of milk to guard or a rat a slice of cheese to look after, and lets see what will become of the bowl of milk and slice of cheese, but alas, out of the challenge between "id" and "ego." "Id" apparently, got the better of "ego" on that eventful day and thus brought home and rang true, the proverbial, that, curiosity killed the cat.

Now, interestingly, it's said that, the true test of a man's character, is what he does, when no one is watching. You see this was an opportunity for character to develop, to evolve, to be etched on the blank slates of the hearts of A&E. Adam and Eve, prior to eating the fruit, because of lack of experiences (i.e. as in, no experiential knowledge of Good and Evil) were character-less, had no character, their slate was blank and clean, so this was a test of character, testing the strength of will or the strength of character of Adam and Eve. If you want to test a man/woman's character, give him/her power, give him/her freewill, give him/her willpower.

The fox can be set to guard the henhouse but for how long will nothing happen to the chickens. The cat can be set to guard the bowl of cream/milk but how long will nothing happen to the cream/milk. OK, here's a quick and snappy breakdown of what went down. The events in Genesis 1:24-27, expatiated upon from Genesis 2:4 up on to Genesis 3:25, all happened in a normal 24-hour period. A&E almost successfully held it together but they caved in at the last hurdle (i.e. the last hour)

In the Bible you'll find God expressed in three persons, trinity (i.e. God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). You are right on the money when you said God and God's creations/expression might be a QUATERNITY or more, because in fact, God is limitless and illimitable. God is not QUATERNITY or more but, God is I AM that I AM, GOD is INFINITY or ∞-persons.

There is nothing lazy about having good faith. budaatum, are you familiar with Hebrews Chapter 11:4-40 heroes of Faith? I am specifically talking about the famous "hall of faith" register book, hmm? Abraham and others, willingness and/or preparedness to have a strong belief in God, based not on spiritual apprehension without immediate proof, but just sheer stark nakéd faith, earned him and the others, a mention, a place and/or position in the greatly desired or enviable Hebrews chapter eleven coveted "Hall of faith" or "Faith Hall of fame".

The giants, in the corridor of the enviable Hebrews chapter eleven "Hall of faith" or "Faith Hall of fame" exercised faith of one kind or the other that was taken by God to qualify as a semblance of righteousness acceptable to Him.

These great men and women of Hebrews chapter eleven "Hall of faith" or "Faith Hall of fame" didnt have the benefit of John 4:23 above, that we are enjoying but they saw far, yet none of them, before they passed on, received all that God had promised, however there was a certain thief on the right hand side of Jesus on the cross, who saw into the future as well, believed what he perceived, so publicly acknowledged the innocence of Jesus and equally thereafter confessed the divinity of Jesus looking forward to be remembered when Jesus arrived in His kingdom. He said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom" (i.e. Luke 23:42) It must have been his knowledge and understanding to propel the thief to have such great faith/belief/conviction, not laziness or a lazy brain

What kind of stupid question is that?

ISRAEL (Jacob/YAKUBI) is a man, NOT a land. The children of Israel are not known by what land they live in but by who their father is. And by the way, there is nothing like Middle-East, that's a recent connotation used by your slavemasters to deceive you. That is Northeast Africa. It was all Africa before Europeans built the Suez canal seperating that region from the rest of the continent.

And the bible is not a white man's book. My black ancestors wrote the book. The people of the book are black. Christianity existed in Africa long before Rome adopted it and used it to conquer the world.

You better repent and keep the commandments or you will be destroyed with the rest of the world.

The Bible is not a white man's book and neither is it a black man's book. It is a world book. it is a big fat lie to claim that the bible was written by some fantasy black ancestors. Some people in the Bible were black, certainly the likes of the Ethiopian eunuch, who was the first Gentile the Gospel was explained to was black. ApostleSimeon was nicknamed Niger, was a black man.

Jesus is Semtic, from the Mediterranean Sea region, adjacent to alkebulan, where civilisation started and so is of a skin colour that is the middle of black and white, which comes to in a range of light reddish brown or light olive skinned colour to dark reddish brown or dark olive skinned colour.

Now, let me clear you up of the whole matter of Africa.

Herodotus, the father of History, wrote that the Garamantes, a North African people, used to live in caves. The Garamantes, mentioned by Herodotus, are a civilisation and tribe, thought to correspond to Iron Age Berber tribes in the southwest of ancient Libya.

To the Ancient Greeks, Libya was one of the three known continents along with Asia and Europe. In this sense, Libya was known as the African continent to the west of the Nile Valley and extended south of Egypt. Herodotus described the inhabitants of Libya as two peoples: The Libyans in northern Africa and the Ethiopians in the south. According to Herodotus, Libya began where Ancient Egypt ended, and extended to Cape Spartel, south of Tangier on the Atlantic coast (i.e. in present day Morocco)

So in effect, meaning that, the Romans, actually referred to the "whole" of Africa, as "Libya," rather than the area of Libya, we know today and not as the word "Africa"

Now, here is where it gets very interesting, as if you dig further down, it becomes apparent that Egypt back in the day then, was considered part of Asia by the ancients, and only first got assigned to Africa, by the geographer Ptolemy 85 - 165 AD, who accepted Alexandria as Prime Meridian and made the isthmus of Suez and the Red Sea the boundary between Asia and Africa.

In fact, according to history, Africa is not Africa’s real name. The name "Africa" is mentioned to have been first used by the Romans to refer to the Carthaginian Empire which was in present-day Tunisia. After the Romans conquered the Carthaginian Empire, they acquired administrative control over North Africa, and this led to the division of North Africa (by the Romans) into two; namely Africa Pronconsularis, which was in present-day Northern Tunisia, and Africa Nova, which consisted of Algeria, so the word, Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today, was given to this continent by the ancient Greeks and Romans. Africa, from the onset had none of the sub-Saharan African region countries in it then, because in classical antiquity, Africa really, then, was just "Ancient Libya"

The fact is, the oldest, the ancient name of Africa, and the only one of indigenous origin was Alkebulan, and the many other names, it previously had were: Ethiopia, Corphye, Ortegia, Libya and of course, Africa - the latest of all. Alkebulan, by the way of interest, incidentally means "mother of mankind" or "garden of Eden"

Alkebulan is the oldest and the only one of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians (i.e. Berber tribe), Khart-Haddans (Carthaginians), and Ethiopians. As I earlier made known, Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today, was given to this continent by the ancient Greeks and Romans and in them Roman days, Africa, really was referred to only Tunisia and parts of Algeria.

In fact, Africa was what the Romans called, the region which roughly lies where Tunisia is today, and that definition later expanded out to designate the whole landmass south of the Mediterranean Sea region, Asia, just as similar, originally was what the Greeks called the region east of the Aegean sea region.

Now let's talk of the Middle East and the Suez Canal and demystify them both.

The British used to think of the region that roughly corresponds to today's Middle East as two entities: namely the Near East (the Balkans and the eastern Mediterranean) and the Middle East (the region around Iran and the Persian Gulf. By Nick Danforth, based on A. Keith Johnston's 1852 "Chart of the World Showing the Forms and Directions of the Ocean Currents.'')

Baba, here, has took it upon himself, to come in and scatter the place up, with saying there is no such thing/place as Middle East, that it's a SCAM, suggesting that its a recent connotation used by "your slavemasters" to deceive you.

Now the thing is, the Suez Canal was built in between 1859 and 1869, and got officially opened on the 17th of November 1869, and even more, the Suez Canal, basically is a man-made waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Indian Ocean via the Red Sea. The Mediterranean Sea region in fact, has been called Middle East, as early as 1852 and years before the Suez Canal saw the light of day.

The Suez Canal, as earlier pointed out, wasn't even separating any region from Africa, like donnie would like the readership to believe. Also, naming the Mediterranean Sea region as the Middle-East, had nothing to do with Jesus or any particular people group, this was something just conveniently done for naval interests and commerce purposes.

Also, the Canal of the Pharaohs, also called the Ancient Suez Canal or Necho's Canal, is the forerunner of the Suez Canal, constructed in ancient times. Even a precursor to the Necho's Canal, is a smaller canal believed to have been constructed under the auspices of Senusret II or Ramesses II, which was built to facilitate travel from the Nile River to the Red Sea

Christianity never existed in Africa long before Rome adopted it and used it to conquer the world. In fact, the word, Christianity, is not in the Bible, it is a Constantine Roman invention, whilst the word, Christian, is a people of Antioch invention, an epithet, they used as a term of abuse and to profane the name of the Lord with

I'm sure if you are told you'd surely die but live another 800 or so years you'd be begging to die.

Still note. Humans always died, and the idea some even lived 100s of years is rather comical, not to talk of them living forever until they ate the fruit and their eyes opened..
"Now Noah was 600 years old when the floodwaters came upon the earth."
- Genesis 7:6

"7I was forty years old when Moses, the servant of the LORD, sent me from Kadesh-barnea to explore the land of Canaan.
I returned and gave an honest report,
8but my brothers who went with me frightened the people from entering the Promised Land.
For my part, I wholeheartedly followed the LORD my God.
9So that day Moses solemnly promised me, ‘The land of Canaan on which you were just walking will be your grant of land
and that of your descendants forever, because you wholeheartedly followed the LORD my God.’
10“Now, as you can see, the LORD has kept me alive
and well as he promised for all these forty-five years since Moses made this promise
—even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I am eighty-five years old.
11I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey,
and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then
"
- Joshua 14:7-11

Smh. Why would I have had to beg to die? In the first millennia, people lived hundreds of years, because the world hadn't no pollution, hadn't shown evidence of decline, there's no buildup of history of natural disasters et cetera, genetic hasn't become impaired, weakened or damaged., they weren't eating processed food full of nasty chemicals. Of course, after the flood, the length of years people lived, gradually reduced, as we see a dramatic decrease in average lifespan caused by degeneration of the genes and environmental factors.

See Caleb, in Joshua 14:7-11, just as strong as when he was half his age, he said. I can imagine an 800 or so years old, be as strong as a 450 or so years old and not begging to die.

"28And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt for seventeen years,
and Jacob's days, the years of his life, were a hundred and forty seven years.
29When the time drew near for Israel to die, he called his son Joseph and said to him,
"If I have now found favor in your eyes, now place your hand beneath my thigh,
and you shall deal with me with lovingkindness and truth; do not bury me now in Egypt.

- Genesis 47:28-29

It is God, that determines the time when one dies (i.e. Genesis 47:29) You may beg God to die, like Elijah did, in 1 Kings 19:4, when he sat down under a bush and asked God to let him die. He begged God, saying "I've had enough. Just let me die!" but the request wasn't granted.

The aspect of longevity read in the bible is to remind us that human beings were meant to live perpetually until sin entered the world and brought in death.

Sunday Adelaja, who is the founder and senior pastor of The Embassy of God in Kyiv, Ukraine, calls out on Apostle Johnson Suleman on his YouTube channel. In the YouTube video, Sunday Adelaja shows how Apostle Johnson is humiliating women and destroying homes.

Subsequently, Sunday Adelaja also said claims Apostle Johnson Suleman is inciting the nation towards of trend, and civil disobedience. In Sunday Adelaja words, "How can a Pastor, somebody who is dedicated to the truth be involving himself in incitement, pushing people to hate one another. So, I believe that we who know better must do something about it."

But in case you don't have the luxury of time and data to watch the video on YouTube video on "Discovery TV." Here is the summary of everything Apostle Johnson said in the video:

Listen everybody, a man of God was saying all kind of things about men of God and he added me. He stayed in Ukraine. I have everything to reply him. He lives in glass house, he shouldn't throw stone. He abuse me, insult me, call me names; fake prophet.

He's sick, but I am quiet, you know why? It is because of the example I'm setting. If a Pastor insult me and I insult him back, the younger generation will think that is a trend and normal. So, my hands are tied, because of this man, I carried his document to the President when they arrested him.

He want me to talk. I'm the one that carry his document. I am too much on him. If I open my mouth, he will disappear. I said I pronounced judgement on the wickedness of evil leaders, and Sunday Adelaja did a video, and said "shut up, you should be crying for mercy."

I saw the video, I kept quiet, calling my hands are tied. Calling my name, that alone I can sue him, and he will pay. That's character defamation. My Lawyers called me and said, "Let's pick him up, the case is good because he mentioned your name, that is character assassination" but I told them I'm the one he insulted. It's okay, my hands are tied, because the Lord said I should leave him.

Really surprising how Anwuzia's ministry faded away.
What ministry faded away? You mean the quasi ministry?

Those who are not ignorant ask for evidence, which you never provided, which makes me think you are the ignorant one for not being able to back up your lies which you then attempt to hide with your usual word diarrhea.
I am not going to divulge anything, especially when sources are at the end of your fingertip. You aren't baby Kingsway, you're more than capable to research into what I shared, without me having to hold your hand and be giving you signposts.

What you say are "lies" are in public domain. The information I shared, is available to the public on the internet. it is available for everyone to see or know about, but you, are just being ....

Now tell me, have you used the string to search on Google and you havent come across loads of other people sharing the same information that the phrase “mowt tamut” in Hebrew, translated to English “you will surely die” in the original text, expresses, death in time and not an immediate death nor a sudden death. In other words, meaning Adam & Eve would eventually die if/when they eat from the TKGE and that is exactly what happened, A&E progressively died.

Are you that scared that your illusion will be destroyed, if you should do the Google search with the “mowt/mot tamut” string and find out the truth
