Clearly you didn't understand my response! I'm not arguing with you on whether the Caesarean method is painful or not. I'm challenging the skewed correlation you're trying to create between the method of childbirth and the attitude of mothers towards motherhood. You keep implying that women who go through painless CS do not understand or value the experience of childbirth. This was one of your first claims: ...and I want to know -- on what basis are you making this claim? This is pure speculation at best. You don't have any data to support that position. In fact, there is actual evidence indicating the exact opposite in some delivery cases!
https://bmcpregnancychildbirth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12884-023-05611-8#:~:text=The%20associations%20of%20MOD%20and,mothers%20delivering%20via%20spontaneous%20VD

The orientation of mothers towards their maternal responsibilities goes far beyond their experience during childbirth. The health of the child, the treatment from family members and health officials as well as the mother's own personality are other important factors that may have effect on how much value a mom attaches to her role as a mother.
You're a lady so I believe you should have more understanding in this than I do.
I will also do further study on it.

Here's an excerpt from the abstract of the link you shared which means there is more to child birth than science can explain- especially things that are more spiritual than logical.

Abstract
Background
The association between mode of delivery (MOD) and parent-infant-bonding has only been studied in mothers and findings have been inconclusive. The aim of this study was to prospectively investigate how MOD relates to postpartum parent-infant-bonding in both mothers and fathers and whether these associations are mediated by birth experience.

I don't have anything against you talking about Trinity but my main concern is staying within the corridor of POV. Going out of POV is derailing your own thread.

If you want to discuss Trinity, it's either you create a thread about it or come clear on it during the discussion on a thread.
What you have simoly said now is that if I want to talk about God or man, I should open another thread. Because no discussion about the bible is not one way or another connected to the measure of our understanding of God and Man which is what Trinity is about.

Anyway, this is my last comment on the topic with you here.
Thanks for your engagement and contribution.

If I never mentioned Trinity, then how can it be the basis of my discussion?

I simply quote what the Bible says, Max made his own claim which I asked him to simply provide a Bible verse to support his claim.

So you ended up bringing what was never part of my discussion and try to force it in my mouth is what I don't understand here.

Was this thread about Trinity? No!

Did I mention anything like Trinity? No!

So, why must you bring Trinity into this discussion?
If you don't mind me asking, what do you have against my mentioning the word Trinity?
HealthRe: Some People Talk Carelessly. by Myer(m):

The bolded statements are unsupported and reek of sentiments. Where is your evidence that women who go through vaginal delivery care more for and/or bond better with their children than women who deliver through Caesarean surgery? Where is your evidence that a "painless delivery ... doesn't instill a sense of purpose, legacy and responsibility into a woman", huh?

The most annoying thing about ignoramuses like you is that they make bold, confident assertions about things they could possibly have no clue about.
Apparently this is a sensitive topic to you. I apologise if you were offended by the comment "painless".
But if you were to read my comment again, I agreed that both natural birth and CS are NDE especially in Nigeria
I agreed that CS is also painful.
I simply added that there are cases where CS is painless (relatively) like I've heard/read about (usually abroad). And in such cases such mothers may not understand the significance of the experience.

You can as well read about it.
Once again I apologise and I'm sincerely sorry you were offended but I was not trivialising CS. I've been through an operation before and I understand the fear of the process and the pain of the healing/recovery process

Yet you can say "...there's a lacuna in your understanding of the Trinity."

Something must be wrong somewhere....
If the bible is about God and Man and Trinity is an explanation of God and Man, do you still not see where this is going?

The word Trinity was not mentioned by you or Max but it was the basis or your argument about Jehovah (God the Father) and Jesus (God the Son).

At times, we sit and reflect retrospectively on our obnoxious lifestyle since we became an adult and begin to feel penitent and sardonic.

I wish I could turn the hands of time, to the nostalgic moments of childhood with no worries.

I have lost it all. My sense of reasoning, my sanity, my finances, my peace and my health. I now intermittently wake up at night with paranoia, scared of what each new day will bring. I am a ticking bomb

When money comes, I misbehave. Later, I exude contrition when i am broke and wish to change

- for food, I only get a miserly meal now. When money was available, I was a spendthrift & prodigal, instead of planning for the tough times. The woman who gives me free food on credit till my pay comes, is now late. Lots of financially indebtedness to people

- for health, during my reckless patronage of oloshos, I sucked clitoris and their mammalian glands. This now gives me throat discomfort that alters my voice, food passage & body temperature.

- for source of income - my side hustles have been cut off. ribdo.com terminated my writing contract. The extra lesson I used to do is also off. I couldn't meet up I guess. Now I hope on the monthly bank pay that is paltry

- trustworthiness - after recently abstaining for 26 days from betting, I used both my money and customer's money (to open account) yesterday. Now I am palpitating and contemplating running. But to where I wonder. Make Dem nor arrest me or lynch me one day. Its hard even asking colleagues or friends for help. Them don tire for my matter. Just looking unkempt.

Contemplating what to sell to offset this new debt. I don already sell my generator and TV (the only asset I have) when I was flexing and patronizing olosho. Hopefully I can sell this phone to sustain me a little
Have you heard of Jesus Christ? He loves you and only He can save you from all this.

CrimeRe: Two Men Fought To Death Over Wife's Issues, Viewer Discretion by Myer(m):
edogu:
I remember reading about this incident from someone's page on Facebook. It's an old an video depicting an incident that took place during the covid-19 sit-at- home in Onitsha in 2020.

According to the gist, wife A and wife B, were cussing each other. Wife A insulted Wife B using her personal issues with her husband. One of which is her ( Wife B) regular fight with her husband.

The husband of wife B, angered by that insult, moved to beat up wife A.

The husband of wife A in return made a move to also defend his wife and that was how the whole fight issue started.

At the beginning, the members of that compound, made every effort to separate them but seeing their determination to keep up with the fight allowed them to fight on.

They fought each other with every weapon they could lay their hands on. By the time the whole fight was over, the two men were brutally injured.

While rushing them to the hospital, one died on his way while the other died at the hospital.

The essence of the narration was for men to be careful on how they dabble into women's issues.
Thanks for the narrative.
I remember watching ot then and it was an eye sore.
I perceive its being reshared even now to teach every one a lesson.

I hope people get to learn the most evident lesson, violence should only be the last resort to an issue when every other means of resolution has been exhausted.

Anger is an emotion like every other emotion. Gaining mastery of anger is the best gift anyone can receive. And it comes with knowing that you can only know the beginning of your reaction, you can never predict the outcome. Where your anger stops might be where the anger of the other person begins.

Some people are languishing in various prisons because they simoly reacted out of anger and the other person died.

Some thought they were strong but the other person had a weapon and murdered them in cold blood and probably even escaped penal justice.

Some women have destroyed potential their marriages or even their homes out of anger.
Some men have lost their wives out of anger.
Some have lost great business opportunities or job offeres because of anger.

Some ministers have lost their calling because they never got over their anger.
Moses in the bible simply overreacted to the frustrations of the israelites and he never entered the promised land he spent all his years leading them jnto. And he nearly lost his place in heaven as well, save for God's mercy.

I used to have anger issues. I had the passive aggressive type of anger common to most introverts or extroverts who don't easily address their anger.
Whenever I exploded I really would say the meanest things that could make a grown man or woman cry.

It took a lot of time to overcome it because we tend to love our anger. And the results it achieves whenever it achieves results. But the truth is it's destroying us more than it's helping us.
The Bible says be angry but do not sin for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

When one finally understands who they are especially in Christ, you no longer fight your battles. God himself deals with anyone who touches you especially when you are not in the wrong.
Whenever I find myself get angry now it's simply against gross immorality or spiritual warfare.

Prov.25.28 - Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls.

I pray God delivers us from the spirit of anger and every other manifestation of the enemy in our lives in Jesus name. Amen.

Birthdays are quite significant.
From your narration of how you spent your britdhay, I can tell you that you spent it well. It only would have been better if you added passionate prayers to it.

Birthdays are meant to give us an introspective time.
It is a transition into a new chapter of your life. So spending it doing some self-examination as you described here was a good one.

Making a review of how you spent the last year and setting new goals should be the objective.
To learn from past mistakes and be determined to do better.
Celebrate the good choices made and augment where there's need for improvement.

In summary, living an intentional life is what should be the goal. But as with every thing in life- the power of choice is yours to make.

Eccl.3.1 - To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

It depends on your definition of celebration.

Celebrate being alive.

There's nothing devined about betrayal, it's even one thing to betray, but betraying your own professional political benefactor who championed your success for decades from state commissioner to the second most powerful seat in Nigeria is another thing..

He not only betrayed, he did it openly,he insulted and ridiculed Tinubu and even threw subliminal jabs at Tinubu which to me crossed the line, he practically made his loss personal.

He refused to support and campaign for Tinubu, now he's congratulating the president days after court judgment when the we've all moved on.

This congratulation rubbish is either an after thought or he was admonished and advised to congratulate.

The fact that this so called educated man is allergic to the political concept of winning and losing says a lot about him as a person.
Did he ever openly insult or ridicule BAT?

It's easy to critique him when you're not the one in his precarious position.

1. He has tasted Power- the number 2 position of the federation. Power is a very powerful temptation.
He may be a Pastor but he is also a man.

2. Majority of Nigerians wanted him as the next president. If he had clinched the primary, it would have mostly been an easy win for him.

3. Like I said, some of us had idolised him due to his stint as acting president when ot seemed every thing was suddenly working well when Buhari was being treated. His professional, political and spiritual dexterity really wowed some of us. He was more or less an angel to me.
Some of us idolised him and more would have idolised him had he become president. Pretty muchthe way Obidients have idolized Peter Obi, of course in a more civilised manner.

4. Betrayal can really hurt. But I believe PBAT with time will get to let it slide.

Nothing even concerns TRINITY here.

Nothing like spiritually, Jesus owns everything in the universe and the Bible says Jesus is rich. Considering when such statement never used for Adam.

Jesus is rich for God to pen this down from Holy Spirit through His apostle shows no one's come close.
Every thing about the bible hinges on your understanding of Trinity.

While Jesus Christ was physically on earth, he was not God the Father. Hence He could only have/do whatever God the Father decided/willed he should have/do in that moment/hour.

John.5.19 - Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

That a rich man willed all his properties to a son doesn't mean the son is rich.

Then there shouldn't be a need of this thread, since Adam willed everything to his sons and we're his sons.

But you created this thread because you know what riches are individual not by WILL.

God never WILL to Christ but CHRIST CREATED AND OWNS EVERYTHING.
The challenge here is our different understanding of Trinity.

Spiritually Jesus Christ is the richest
Materially Adam should be the richest but he lost it to Satan.
Hence materially King Solomon is the richest.
Spiritually and materially, Abraham can be said to be the richest.
