Did you apply for Front Desk? Except for security concerns, you should show up and secure the job. |
Why is no one talking about this "Bowing" practised in law Practice. All the first class students bowed to Mrs Odili, and to the Bench. |
Contract ends upon payment/receipt. It's no longer your property...you can only charge security fee for the 2hr demurrage. Nothing concern dollar for this one...but the good thing is...as long as item still dey ur shop, you can breach the contract and stay execution. ...and he can sue you for every value of that 1.6m within those 2hr you had his money in your custody. If you want him to pay the current cost of the doors, then you have to refund the current monetary value of the 1.6m he gave you 2hrs ago. You think say you dey wize! |
"In a statement by the Convener of Kwara Must Change, Abdulrazaq Hamzat, the group said that tax laws in Kwara State are enforced on all businesses in the state, not on the basis of tribe, sex or religion, but on the basis of business and volume of transactions and turning tax related dispute into ethnic protest is the height of insensitivity." Why are you implementing Progressive Tax only in Kwara state. Is that legal in Nigeria? Or can every state decide their own state tax laws notwithstanding the standing Federal tax policy. If you have a transparent policy, they are all bound to pay the tax. The hotels and petrol stations earn as much or more than traders. Are traders truly doing more volumes? There are Yoruba and Hausa importers and traders too...why are they not complaining...or are they complaining? Or only Igbo traders are complaining among the traders? Are all businesses- doing the same capped volume of transaction, paying a relatively higher tax...or it's been enforced on (Igbo) traders, while being passive on other businesses not dominated by Igbos? Widening the tax bracket isn't the only way to grow the economy. |
8 gidgiddy:You're right...but this last paragraph...not true. I don't support Israel over gaza, except if it is a religious war. I don't support Russia over Ukraine either. Live and let's live. |
noobody:This sums it up! |
1Sharon:I agree with you on both counts...tho hugging relatives is usually an in-house something...Welcome or I've-missed-you kind of hug btwn long distance families👪. |
1Sharon:This one is a traumatised child. Who initiated the hug? So we also shouldn't hug our sisters and cousins when they are not wearing bra...coz we actually do feel the touch. ...but the mind is wired in a way that blocks any amorous feelings upon such contact. Even church brethren give 360 hug, but a pure mind will hug and move on. Well, maturity demands her and him to adjust the hugging afterwards...coz even men feel uncomfortable when hugging with an erection. |
We4all:The story isn't interesting enough to make us go to the blog to read more. We're not interested in mumu gist. This one is dead on arrival...no traction to the site |
DenreleDave:You don't learn that from that. Sometimes, it's psychologically hard to teach that. Except she be ur virgin...its hard to teach w/out striking a cord somewhere. |
This will take years of legal reforms...and may destroy the country. Tinubu can't fight the govt...be ready for destabilisation in this country. Well meaning as it may be, it is not exhaustive...ofcourse there's always room for improvement, but let him not put the cart before the horse, as he has been known to do. He might be creating more chaos. ..except maybe, he's the messiah that will get this country to divide. |
derecho:Lolzzz dem don use Tinubu do goat 🐐 analogy. It's no longer tribal sentiment o...the country is boiling. Man's inate instinct is to survive or be killed. We will not lay down in silence and die...you go gats kill us by yourself. When the working population can no longer meet up...wahala dey brew See wetin bank do yesterday...
|
I never read your post finish...but my immediate advice...sell your phone sharp sharp. Stay alive...die empty |
Wahala! See as money dey waste. Tomorrow you'll hear of hurricane, tornadoes and ocean crossing its bank. Na these activities dey cause am When dey pollute the water with chemicals and nuclear waste, they'll come back 50yrs later to start talking about Global Climate change. They're polluting the global waterbodies now, no one is saying anything. Person no fit see Tuna fish chop again...na wetin cause am be this. |
If only these students knew how unimportant that certificate is in the grand scheme of things...they would have left school honourably without need for those pressure. 1st class or 3rd class...nobody needs those things. Know what you know, come out and use the knowledge. If dem ask for paper, you show them...if you want a better degree, you go for further study. Your new higher degree will cover the former degree. Anybody dey ask you how many AAz you get for WAEC? You get waec certificate, over! Please if you're still in school, don't pressure yourself. Do your best and leave the rest. Cultism, and Malpractice isn't worth it at all. |
WiszyFraud:Oga, it's for the year in review! Other African stars didn't shine as bright as Victor Osimhen did last year |
Good win for Nigeria. Great to know his foundational study was in Nigeria. Our doctors are trained in unequipped hospitals...like our academic system...when we go outside with all the available facilities, we easily adapt and scale. |
There's this gurl in my street...I like the way she walks and talks (speaks queen's English). But I don't want to date her. I'm not sexually attracted to her. One mind dey say mk I engage her in convo and be friends...but I think it would hurt her if I become very nice and friendly with her, yet no plans to date her. I just want her companionship. I may eventually eat her someday- if she moves on me...but won't change the fact that I won't wife her (my opinion). So you see, it's quite dicey. Most nice guys out there just wanna be nice and friendly. Buh if I'm dating you, I better be your heaven and earth, I should be your world, as you are mine. And if I have a girlfriend, I don't have need to have another bestie outside. I might as well break-up and date my bestie, if she's available. |
Gracelander:Why is your man not your bestie and joy giver? You dressed and went out to go hustle for yourself alone...instead of apologising and resolving the issue with him...you went out...to eat...from another man. Wife material really dey scarce. |
Arrested? Instead conduct mass wedding for them and give them foundational funds to start the marriage. They can empower each other and grow better society. |
I've always wonders why one would arrive an airport, and spend up to 30mins sorting bags and checking out. I've been thinking of a solution to proffer but thank God we have one now. Same should be done for Cargo clearance at the wharf. It is doable in other countries, we can study and adopt existing models from other functional ports in other countries. |
adabaraabdul:Why tho...how come he didn't devour the man's flesh? Or lions no longer eat flesh...or was the animal feeling guilty about the act....or could it be just territoriality in play?! |
finallybusy:Oga, something he has been doing for 9yrs....he's not a learner. Situations must have changed for the lion...I can only blame hunger, the meal has been rationed. It's most likely not carelessness on the part of the professional zoologist |
Is that so...?! |
Ha! Even if you wan loot, e too much na. Even if na full catering team of 10 people. See stew...see soup, Even the enticing salad. Nna eh...I don dey hungry ooo. Wahala dey o! |
When you have sense to mill the rice well. This is 2024, and you want us to still be eating stone inside rice...meanwhile we grew up eating clean foreign rice. You better catch up and sell at the standard price. We never select stone from beans finish, you want us to join you and be selecting stones from rice. God forbids! |
metaluterus:Ebonyi women are hardworking o. Everybody dey push for Ebonyi...Father, mother, children. That vein na hand pressure...you know how long dat hand don PROBABLY stay up, selling stuffz. (I don't like this my thinking o...but it kinda holds true, that's why I still posted it) |
Ah...dem get money o! Yam barn and uncompleted CEMENT building. ...in Ebonyi! P.S Na so I been dey think until I finally went to Ebonyi. Very clean state. Village still cast sha...but the city is a calm place to stay. That their stadium dey get activities every wknd |
