IjebuWarrior:Chinese trademark also...but they are the current world's economic giant. From inferior products at the beginning...then Japan had more durable products...but with continued government support, they grew and became better at all things tech. Huawei 5G innovation is a product of the efforts of yesteryears. Chinese BYD electric vehicle is miles ahead of Tesla. |
Balistic4:Now I don dey reason to go watch Terminator again.....mindless surfing! Not anymore. 2024...gon be better. |
adesegun121:So the doctors that did DNA isn't aware there's a thing called MNA ba? Abeg carry your zobo give another person, I dey on fasting. |

Englishisamust:Them don poison our water for this country. Everybody just dey suffer the same problem......we want to do more, but we are still the ones holding ourselves back from trying, failing, growing and ultimately winning. Na we hold ourselves...we no dey gingered to go alone...push yourself, no one will help you chase your goals. I'll download and post my app now. I commented on this post about 2wks ago, yet I didn't do anything bout it. We need accountability...self accountability! |
finallybusy:Exactly what happened to me. Touched money... At 29, I started jogging every morning to lose weight. Now I want some of that weight back...I no wan slim again, |
Someone started this program on WhatsApp in 2018. I joined...and that year was super productive for me. I won on every side...till I lost my phone. We'd write our plans to-do list everyday, and come back in the evening to give account. It was a healthy building space. I still keep writing to-dos to set my day...I wish I had continued with that fire. You set goals for the year, break it down into achievable steps...every month/week/day, there's a purposeful agenda. Gawd. Let's have something like that again...hold each other accoutable...be encouraged by each other's purposeful living. I'll see what an app can do for me. Since my sticky note was updated, and I can't scribble with my fingers anymore....setting agenda by typing can be tiring. I have a book tho...but its not easy to be self willed everyday...but when you write it down, you become subconsciously conscious of your time...and what you should be doing at that time. I'll update when I download a suitable app. |
SuperOnyi: Try ChatGPT. You can prompt it to easily turn ideas into words, and automatically fill it with SEO-friendly keywords |

The Nigeria Postal Service(NIPOST) has set a February 2024 deadline for all illegal courier and logistic businesses in the country to register and comply with the service’s regulations or face clamp down. The General Manager, Courier and Logistics Regulatory Department of the NIPOST, Dotun Shonde, made this known at a stakeholders’ meeting with courier and logistics service private providers in Enugu State to sensitize them on the need to get registered for proper regulation. According to Shonde, “It is what is contained in the NIPOST Act Cap 127 laws of the federation 2004 as amended “It is a regulation that has been in force in the past 3 decades. It is to ensure that private operators comply with that NIPOST Act by doing what is needful or legal. If you want to come into the postal space to operate as a private operator, you need to procure a grant of license from the PostMaster General of the Federation then you will be licensed to operate “But for some reasons, and for some period, some people have refused to comply. They have been operating without that grant of license, they have been operating illegally and that is economic sabotage as it poses a security risk “You don’t know who they are, you don’t know how to trace them. If you check around you’ll see some operating even without a brand name "Some are operating without a number plate, some without traceable address and these are the people who carry out nefarious activities. We’ve had cases of people operating under false pretense, they obtain money from people and tell you they would deliver both the money and the delivery you don’t get. So they are causing a negative image to the industry and pose serious security threat to other investors “So, the Post Master General of the federation has said enough is enough”, he said. Shonde disclosed that NIPOST started the enforcement and clamp down as well as public education enlightenment sensitization since 2021. The chairman, Association of Courier and Logistics Operators in Enugu, Adaora Okoye said that the sensitization and engagement session was on how to conform with the rules and regulations of NIPOST so their members do not fall victims of circumstance. https://thenationonlineng.net/nipost-to-clamp-down-on-illegal-courier-firms-february-2024/ HomeDel Logistics.

Errhm....nomone is talking about it....are they the ones that put that stipend in my account? Abi na only me receive alert on 15th? |
All this thing wey we dey do na because say we never get money to dey chop chicken everyday like before. For my mind, the point where I will feel my life is getting balanced again, is when I get to that settled point, where what I'll live on for atleast the next 0ne year comfortably. That's the minimum investment standard for survival. Be able to sustain yourself for atleast one year, before you think of settling down or involving yourself with women. There was a point where I was eating chicken and malt almost everyday. You never get money to rent house wey two people fit live peacefully, you dey reason marriage....like I don't fucking get it. Marriage is optional, so why confine yourself to that sufferhead lifestyle? .......... Sometimes these things come to mind...and I used to pen them on my diary, but why should we keep these voices in our heads...let it find expression. Rant- they say. It is me and my thoughts...judge me...you don't know how big the world is. Once I leave our mutual circle, every aspect of my life gets an opportunity to build a new image. Na our mutual contacts dey hedge this perception of ourself. I usually start out well in a strange environment...so I've learnt not to settle, mix-up or be comfortable in that community. The moment I start to think about mingling in the environment, I get watered down, lose focus. Viz: Started a new school in pry 5, took 2nd. Milo competition in my school, JSS 1, came 2nd. Writing competition, year 1, came 2nd. Went for a program in Uturu, where I no know or send anybody...won two gifts. Like if I start out as a stranger, I tend to succeed more, than when I settle. I don't do or stop doing anything in particular...but when I start to feel at home, to relax....glory just reduces. I think this is the longest stretch I have gone in breaking myself. I remember feeling great one day, when I recognised that I had gone out of an addiction, by reinforcing my stance, whenener the urge came. It just hit me one bright afternoon...I was also free from the nightmares. I smiled. So I finally was free. Free to take or not to take...my mind would still be at peace. No compulsion to indulge. Freedom of self. Na you cage yourself, na you go uncaged yourself by yourself. Seems like an unending battle tho...buh one day, your eyes go open. I encountered it twice...two previous. It feels great to actually be an overcome. Your moral go dey excess. Coz you can afford to, but choose not to. No self bondage. Mehn. Na your head and mind go free your body o. Na you go break, build and push yourself. I wonder why people are not telling others whats in front. The amount of danger and stagnation that lies ahead. If you have broken out, throw the ropes...teach thy brethren. Life is limitless, let's all win. Meanwhile...this is all a rant started coz I want to start eating chicken daily again...it was a lack of it that made me try other vices. Roasted chicken dey give me joy 😊 |
Prisons/Correctional Centre is not a Revenue institution. Govt could simply forgive the debt on paper and release whoever they have determined to forgive their debt/crime. There's always budget for prisons, Bail payments notwithstanding. |
This one na cold zobo. Was she prosecuted? So deportation after sack ![]() E no clear |
2.2 billion for election...just part of the sum we could trace... Yet, you said these ones will enter and not loot to recover the funds...all of una na thief. This country need political revolution, coz going to the polls seem not to be the solution |
I was watching a movie (Hooking Up) about a female writer. She is a columnist for a LIFESTYLE magazine/blog She writes for the Romance/Sex section. The movie talked about how she had to engage in random sex with multiple people, and indulge in porn addiction, to get her creative juice flowing for inspiration. That got me thinking... Some of us have had to make career trade offs, at the risk of our mental health; not just to keep our job, but also to perform and deliver good work. I don't know if you can relate, or know someone who has been there. In marketing, Public Speaking, Laborious tasks, even reading, people have been known to take performance enhancement substances. However, this has been majorly due to pressure of the environment because I believe without the pressure to produce great result- Always; one might just chill, and go at their own pace. Do what they can...learn what they cant...and leave the rest. But not when you have a timeline to meet, management threatening your job...(NOT your means of livelihood) To an extent, these things do spur you on the inside to perform better at the given task. Some athletes take performance enhancing drugs, Artists take to different substances for stage fright, and inspiration et al. The question then becomes...is it worth it? It will give you result and money for today...but in the long run, the company/business becomes successful, while you lose yourself in the process. I have been there. I probably should have resigned earlier, but I didn't want to resign under pressure. So I stayed...did my part, wowed them...and resigned a legend. It was still my brain power, time, energy, and resources that was stretched to get the job done. Now company is doing well without me, but I am the one living with the consequences of my indulgence to push myself. Stress builds you, but you see company/organizational stress....run from it. You are worth more than you are valued. Go elsewhere, do something else, live healthily. Life doesn't end in one company...do your future some good. |
hakym619:State House of assembly reside in the state. Since it's your local government, go to your village, ask around for their exact ho,e location...or book an appointment at the govt House.....or ambush him/her after their sitting. They always hold those their meetings at the state assembly...getnthe date and time.... |
jkpbestseries:Ah! I read that book as a teacher during my service year. That novel eh...just don't drop it. Kept reading till I finished that book...the story long jare Mariama Ba...the polygamy, women empowerment circle et al |
Mtcheeeeeeeew. They have come again with their APC talk. Always making futuristic talk. Tell us what you are producing as at today...no dey give us 2024 unrealistic projection |
Ridiculous lies. Who sew the cloth and slapped the price tag of 280M on it? |
FreeStuffsNG:There's no all-men military formation, that have crash landed a plane in this manner. No ALL-MEN Military unit has ever crash landed like this. They are a group ffg.....one person will get it right...but now when they are all women with their egotistical attitude....no-one will be humble and learn from the other |
socialmediaman:Great angle...buh I want to believe his lawyers could have argued that too...coz you can't just render one stateless. Well, since he has an origin, he can always apply back to Nigeria. He still has his birth certificate, so he'll be deported to MMIA, then let Nigerian immigration decide where to send him. Or is there any unoccupied place on earth where he can stay freely? Is a refugee status applicable given his statelessness? He still has to apply for citizenship...even back to Nigeria. How does one constitutionally renounce citizenship? |
FreeStuffsNG:What are you saying? This subsidy removal, consequent increase in pump price, exchange rate....have crippled the people's purchasing power. People no longer take unnecessary trips...coz they can't afford it as much as before. More people are at home...working online to augment. So there is no factor of the govt's policies that has positively led to the low inflation. People aren't moving anyhow anymore. They now use Dispatch Logistics services like HomeDel Logistics, to pick-up and deliver items nationwide for lesser cost. But sincerely, I'm shocked that there was no much or proportional fare increase for short distance road trips. But long distance travels and air transport have been experiencing significant inflation of prices on a daily. So NBS using last 2yrs record simply means 2021-2023. That's not Tinubu's result...let's see the times that follows, before giving credit to Pres. Tinubu. Meanwhile, the way you sycophants rush to praise all pro-Tinubu post, is so obvious that you're being paid to do this. We are all in this country, and we want the best for this nation, nomatter who the president is. We will commend good work, when we see one. Same way it's too early to criticise Tinubu's govt, it's also too early to sing his praise esp when we never see tangible result that translates to a better quality of life for us all. Stop suffering and smiling...encourage the good work, encourage people to explore all of their potentials, and question or recommend policies that will work. But don't come here singing fake praises on every post. ...instead, make comments that can renew our hope for a better nation...through Pres Bola Ahmed Tinubu. (Asiwaju) |
achorladey:This is no longer a nairaland comment, I want to have in-depth conversation...not to argue anymore, but to ask...what must I do to know God and fellowship with Him passionately? What's missing that I need to know or do, to have a tangible knowledge of God beyond doubts. |
