Just thought I'd retype mcommcerce's response which has been blocked. The words and typos are his, I just paragraphed it to make it easier to read. (not sure who this quote was by and it's not indicated in mcommcerce's post) @justwise,is it not yet time for you to realised that its not supporting crystal services that makes one an applicant. you mentioned mcommcerce, didnt you read what i wrote about him?.i observed that you didnt comment on that, and it implies that you are aboring bad behaviour. mcommcerce is an outcast of crystal and he himself cant contest it.he was perpetrating scam and charging applicant N200,000 ,also collecting N3500 for seminar somewhere in ikeja that supposed to be free and supposed to be inside crsytal services premises. see dont mention the guy name again. This is Part 1 of his response to the above. Part 2 to follow mcommcerce: Here is my reply Justwise |
What sites have you come across so far? If you tell us it would save recommending what you've already looked at. |
charity00:How "special" are these special features on the Blackberry that you haven't got on the Samsung you have? I'm sure the people who are saying this own a Blackberry and not any other phone. My Nokia can do Yahoo, Facebook and the Internet, as can my Android phone. |
The Canadian Embassy website lists 3 designated medical practitioners authorised by the embassy to do medical checks. How comes Saint Nicholas isn't on that list as a designated centre for medical checks? Plus under office closures and news, there's no mention of the High Commission or Deputy High Commission in Nigeria closing for 3 months, either in Abuja or Lagos. I'm aware that most embassies observe local and country public holidays, so I'm curious as to whether the embassy closed for three months. |
jonescosmo:This is not the first or second date change, so people are very justified in asking questions. I would however like the statement in bold addressed: Kusville: |
Wumami:I agree. I wouldn't have a problem working with my spouse in the same office, but one has to be mature enough to separate personal and professional life. If siblings can do it why not husband and wife? |
If your comments here are anything to go by, I'd think twice about telling the mother: ficoram:Unless you know the parents to be reasonable people, DO NOT tell them what you saw their children doing. It sounds like the poor child would probably be punished by her mother and labelled as "wayward" at 6 years old through no fault of her own. The children have been over-exposed and probably see what their parents have been doing in their shared room and are simply mimicking them. If's a way to tell the mother, it would be to encourage the parents to let the children sleep in a separate room. And saying something along the lines like are they aware that the children may know when they are being intimate; if the parents aren't careful, the children will start "playing" intimacy outside of the bedroom. That should be a wake-up call to the parents. If anything happens in future and you're not around, they can't say they weren't warned. |
Don't agree that Airtel is remotely better than most in Nigeria. They always have a problem with their system - that is if you can get through to them at all. I look forward to the day I can port my number because I am so taking my number to another network. Since Airtel have taken over from Zain there's been one problem after another. Forget 121, it is no different to the other Customer Service numbers they have provided. A few days ago there was a total blackout of the service, for a whole day no calls, can't receive calls. They seem to be getting worse and worse. |
Rimltd:It's not simple. Orientation is not new to me, but you have not fully addressed my query: Dubai and Manitoba are on two different continents in opposite directions; why orientation in Dubai and not in Manitoba, or Nigeria even? |
Goddys:You are not serious. You already have a first degree and your family are starving themselves paying for a second first degree for you? The people I know who have pursued a second first degree worked and studied at the same time. So you have been depending on your family all this time? It sounds like you are looking for a woman to bail your family out, not a wife. No responsible man should be spending his family's money like this, regardless of his vision. Unless you're explaining yourself very badly, it seems like you are looking for a wife as a family/mummy replacement. No woman's daughter should be subjected to that, no matter how hard working she is. |
2tek:Interesting but nothing we couldn't find on MTN's website ourselves. You haven't listed one good reason to choose MTN over Glo. |

soronzo:It's definitely an iPhone 4. Not sure about UK used, as AT&T doesn't operate in the UK. |
There doesn't need to be a law. Simply do not allow people who are "indecently dressed" into workplaces or churches. Once those institutions have set the rules, people will have no choice but to comply. @ kruku - human rights has its place, but this is not one of them. If not, I'm sure it would be ok in the US to still discriminate against you because of the colour of your skin. |
luluosas:I'm also using Opera Mini but version 6.1. The viewing format is exactly the same as on the website, so I'm not sure if the problem is unique to your phones or if others have the same. Also notice the double posting (which I'm sure isn't deliberate). It seems to be happening to quite a few people posting using their phone. |
It is really up to communities to ensure their drains and blocked waterways are cleared. It seems silly to expect the state government to take responsibility for something like this. At least it's enough warning for people in flood-prone areas to move elsewhere if possible or at least safeguard their homes as best as they can. |
In short, no. Very different phones, with functions specific to their type. Do you use your BB and Galaxy S2 the same way? |
Mbeki:Statistically, there are more Nigerians, but that doesn't equate to speaking clearer English. Most people take pride in speaking more than one language except some Nigerians. It's a skill, moreso to speak them fluently. |
martinosi:But Lakeside/Bluewater from Paddington is a bit of a trek no? Plus now there's Westfield, the same options are there ![]() |
Mbeki:You obviously haven't spoken to many East Africans or Southern Africans. |
Forget wearing African attire in Western countries - how comes bank workers in Nigeria don't have Nigerian attire uniforms? It is still possible to have elegant workday Nigerian attire and still look professional (without the gele!) That one always puzzles me. |

The problem I have with some aspects of this debate is that the men who end up with the women looking for a ready-made man make the mistake of going for looks over personality. That's not to say that looks don't have their place, but very few men are interested in the character of a woman. They go for the fake babes who then make their lives miserable, next thing you hear how bad women are. I don't have a problem with the poster looking for a wife, but I do have a problem with the fact that he isn't financially independent but his family still pay his school fees etc. If he was managing it all himself, then he would be in a better position to look for a wife of some means. But with marriage comes responsibility and a lot of maturity, beyond someone to do the house chores and coming home to a cooked meal. Add to that the stress of studying, managing a home and working, it isn't easy. I think the poster needs to think this through very carefully before looking to bring someone into his situation. |
mariofemi:Why is the orientation in Dubai and not in Manitoba? It's not like they're on the same continent. |
Fogman:I'm curious as to why all the newbies are stuck in this one thread. If Crystal Services is all that, no need to defend them, "truth will out". |
@ martinosi, I agree with you on the shopping, I wouldn't go to Oxford Street, when you can get pretty much the same in other parts of the city. @ poster - you've got out of town options Bluewater, Lakeside, within London there's Westfield and local shopping areas are pretty good too, like Brent Cross. I would have also suggested Wood Green and Croydon but they're a bit of a mess at the moment. |
There's also a new Sony Ericsson phone coming out, the Experia Pro. The Experia Arc is relatively new but's been out for a few months, the Experia Play is newer. Nokia have their MeeGo phone due for release, the N9. |
Why would orientation be in Dubai before going to Manitoba? Wouldn't that be even more expensive? All this for just paying N1000 for a form? |
@ poster, your friend should also try and visit Olumo Rock in Ogun State. There's a good bit of history and, if you get a good tour guide, it's quite informative. All of my friends who have visited Nigeria have been there and have enjoyed it. Also Lekki Conservation Centre is a good place to visit. Just let your friend know that Nigeria doesn't cater for tourists like Ghana or many of the East African countries. As for the oyinbosonline website, personally I find that site questionable. Not the best advertisement for Nigeria. |
