@ poster - was was the balance on your account? I don't think it has so much to do with how much you make per month, rather what the balance on your account is and how long you will be travelling for. If you get a sponsor for your flight ticket you will have to include a lot of other information (e.g. letter from person confirming they will pay for your flight, bank details). Have you explained where you will be staying and provided proof of this? If you do re-apply it is important to address every single point they turned you down on before, including providing the relevant documents. Good luck. |
Me too , though I would say I've seen more LG phones than iPhones around. |
^^I was going to say the same, and I'm using an Android phone. Luluosas, what phone are you using and what browser? |
nkem123:Lexusgs430 is correct, there are LOADS of new phones being released all the time, and it would be silly to try to post them here. Are there particular brands you are looking for? |
mavinc4u:Actually, there are 2 latest Blackberry releases: the Bold 9900 AND the Torch 9800/9810 |
I've heard of her but rarely read fiction, even less of romantic fiction. |
Uhm, has anyone actually answered the original question as to whether it is permissable for Muslims to lie? |
yejide14:Mostly assumptions. If you've read through any of his postings, you would see that he a problem with women. |
@ harakiri = cohabitation back in the day was nothing like it is today, you can't compare the two. Cohabitation nowadays is dependent on the person's moral and ethical point of view - some wouldn't do it, others have no problem with it, whether it leads to marriage or not. In any cohabiting arrangement, women have the most to lose but again, morally and ethically some people see nothing wrong with this arrangement. That's just my opinion. |
eastman11:Totally agree eastman11 - did you do that with yours? ![]() |
If sanctuaries are not willing for their property to be used as a place of refuge for a criminal, how can this be implemented? |
The Desire S is a newer phone than the Desire HD. The Desire HD has a bigger screen, marginally bigger internal memory. The battery life of the Desire S is marginally better than the Desire HD and comes with Gingerbread, plus more room for updating the OS (unless you're planning to root your phone, in which case ignore this). Personally I would go for the Desire S. |
goggs:You need to get case with a good grip bro, you can't eat fried chicken and use your phone The battery life was the first thing I noticed about my HTC Desire. It doesn't last for more than a day, and if it does that's because no one's called me and I've switched everything (wifi, Bluetooth and Mobile Internet) off. It seems to be the problem with all smartphones. Hopefully someone out there is working on resolving it, but expect to pay more for the privilege. |
Simply put, you would need a visa to go to the Cayman Islands. |
goggs:I hear they're bringing out the Galaxy S 2011, an updated version of last year's Galaxy S. I might go for that one as I prefer its size over the Galaxy S 2. |
Glad it's working for her with no trouble. Hope she enjoys her stay. |
It depends on what you want your phone to do. If you want something simple and uncomplicated, go for a Nokia. If you want something that you can manipulate around a bit, go for an Android phone. If you don't mind having everything channelled to you from one place, go for Apple. And if you've got lots of friends to IM, go for a BlackBerry. It's really all down to user preference. |
Well from a broader perspective and considering the fact that he has a kid and a wife to take for, and most importantly am likely to inherit his responsibilities, i advice him to hang on.
If this person is your friend, how will you "inherit his responsibilities"? |
akagwu8:I'm puzzled. There was information all over the place about the fact that the old passports were being replaced with e-passports and that those with the old passports should have them replaced before travelling. Were you not aware of this? |
Fogman:Whether it's 70 or 7000, if the delay is true this is a messed up way of doing business. Did it only just occur to Crystal Services that their departure date was during Ramadan? |
VOR:I don't agree with the bolded, even though I find her descriptions of things quite shocking. Remember this was written before certain comment, attitudes and statement were considered politically correct. It was obvious that she had never encountered black people before - just as her entourage were viewed with fascination by locals, she viewed them the same. |
John F Kennedy appointed his brother Attorney General who no doubt had to be qualified for the job AND be approved via a committee. In this case, what exactly does a "Special Adviser on Special Duties" do? It sounds like a vague position with no particular qualifications necessary. |
This story is 2 years old. |
jaypee4r:I'm curious as to how many times the date has been shifted. |
@ man of xter, try the following: Name: GLOWAP or Gwap Homepage: http://wap.gloworld.com Access Point Name/APN: glogwap Username: wap Password: wap The APN type should be the default setting (PAP). There are settings here and here. You shouldn't need to enter the port or proxy details. Hope this helps. |
Debosky has pretty much hit the nail on the head. Women are not "belligerent" as Beowolf stated (though some are), most just like thrashing issues out when they come up and get it over and done with. Men who choose to be non-communicative in my experience usually think anyone saying anything they don't like is "confrontational" or argumentative. Silence is not the best or most mature way of dealing with disagreements. That is the reason why little things escalate into big arguments. There's a time to speak and a time to be silent. Not everything has to develop into an argument, pick your moments wisely. |
Abujabir24:It is the same in Christianity, pre-marital sex is wrong. Although some people practice a very perverse kind of secular Christianity where anything is allowed.
Can you buy a shoe/clothings without testing/wearing it to know if it fits? The answer is NO,
Yes I can and many people do. I have bought clothes and shoes online because I know my size and how things fit me. There is a difference between trying on a pair of shoes or clothing to check the fit and walking out of the store without paying. sexkillz:I'm always curious as to why we think our so-called "modern thinking" is so much better than our parents, especially on issues like this. Seeing pre-marital pregnancy as a taboo isn't without a reason. |
dabraska:Then the company should be honest and tell people in advance the coverage in their area is poor, rather than getting people to buy a service and not give them proper coverage! Someone I know this same problem with Starcomms, and is now debating whether to take up their service again or not after a few years in the area. |
DonJoey: Airtel was upgrading their system and they even sent a notification message to their subscribers, I believe in time airtel wil improve, They are already giving MTN and others tough competition. Anything airtel starts, MTN wil want to immitate, Airtel has good customer service and cheap call rates, good internet data bundle plans,Are we talking about the same Airtel that:
[li] chopped my credit even though I had a data bundle, then turned around and told me it was my fault claiming I had a BlackBerry and always left it on (I didn't and don't) but didn't refund me even when they acknowledged it was their fault?[/li] [li]in my neighbourhood ceases to work so you can't make a phone call or get through to anyone on the same network?[/li] [li]when you call Customer Service about a faulty top-up card they promise to get back to you but don't?[/li] [li]for about almost a month had a non-functioning Customer Service line, not to mention an email contact address that doesn't work?[/li]
Those are just a few. We obviously must be using very different Airtels. |
wumifab:Well bro I had a Dell Axim years ago but haven't used Windows in any mobile/cut down form since then. Still have the Axim but it's collecting dust along with my Palm Tungsten PDA. The app my brother uses is called "I'm a WP7!" According to that there's only one person with the same app in Nigeria, but it doesn't mean there's only one person in Nigeria using WP7 does it? ![]() |
Also, if her phone is locked, this thread may help, or Lexusgs430 might be able to help. |
