abbakacici: so you attend, AT, Musa ilyasu , samada or SpringNope! Samadi was the only close contender though. Although, back then we called Samadi our burial ground. haha .Most of their students were those who could not cope academically at my school, and were either asked to repeat or be expelled. After school hours, many of them would drive over to hangout with us for a little bit. We called them "soldiers who died in the struggle" ![]() Nostalgia. It was fun back then. |

ElFenomeno1: I disagree with you on the above. It is not mostly for networking unless you have another meaning for that key word. While that might not be the primary goal, i understand exactly what that person meant. I attended a very small private school in Kano where Most of the students had last names like Dangote, Dantata, Buhari, Abacha, Kwankwaso, Kabo, Chanchangi and very many more in that league. Haven grown up with these heirs to the throne, it makes it relatively easy to have "access" (if you need it). I live less than 4 miles from Harvard University, and very many who attend Harvard (or any Ivy league school) aren't there exclusively for superior education. They ARE there to network. You see, graduates from certain schools are generally the industry leaders, and if you connect with them from the start, you have future "access" |
The high school i attended in Naija was the Harvard of Kano state at the time ![]() |
Seargent copy and paste. Weldone o! |

Talk is cheap. My piss can cure Ebola... see how easy that was? Show some verifiable results or stay quiet. |
Make both. While people in Naija might predominantly access the web via mobile devices, this is mainly as a result of inadequate options for affordable unlimited high speed internet. When that changes, you would already have a head-start. |
Godmystrength: where did you get those figures from??From informed sample observations (personal). |
Godmystrength: I strongly disagree. Your cousin is not the whole of Naija kids.He is not. However, he represents the predominant oratory pattern of Naija kids. About 3 out of 5 of them would speak that way. |
hahaha. O boi see short cut wey these people wan take. That's like saying, "Abeg why can't we just create a footpath from Brotha Musiwa's face me i face u in Okokomaiko, that automatically bursts out into Time Square" Adopting the Naira as an ECOWAS currency isn't far-fetched, but leveling it with the USD (in actual terms) is. |
Same ol' folks. |
hydeka: Not all of them are like that. You need some of them, so talkative and they are not slow.True. But a LOT of them are that way. |
In case you haven't noticed, i own this new duplex property on NL. Feel free to use the stairs ![]() |
The moon is quite fascinating. I have a telescope in my living room to stare at the moon on dark nights ![]()
|
You gotta keep up. Then again, Naija kids are a little slower to develop coherent speech, and they speak soooooooo slow. Like person wey drink palmi The other time wey i enter Naija, one of my 5 year old cousin was like: "myyyyyy muuuummmyyy sayyyyyy thaaaaatt yoouuuu shool com an' eaaaaaaat" |
haha. If only this was the modus operandi of NPF. |
![]() Good to see Naija embracing more abstract marketing. |
Let me know when they add TIGO- There is God O. It's not just an abbreviation, it's also a beautiful acronym ![]() |
