I want to assume u aren't suffering from blindness as well becos adding dat to ur lack of comprehension and reading skills would b a huge problem moving forward.
Now read d following lines but dis tym really slowly..
Further investigation revealed that, Commander of NADC, Air commodore U.K Abdullah, later received a call from some unknown persons, who ordered him to release the man and drones.

Abdullah, it was gathered, later released the suspect and drones on January 30, 2020.
The commander, who only assumed duties in December 2019 at the NADC, was said to have instructed his officers to drop further investigation on the matter.
This how many of you fail JAMB and still blame it on the village witch.

Even though you have uploaded the relevant part of the story pertaining to the role of the commander (and the answer therefore right there in front of you) unfortunately you seem to lack the necessary intelligence to interpret the story correctly.

Pls tell me what do you understand by the above highlighted part (in bold)?

Then explain why you think the commander was culpable; in the primary offence of smuggling of the drones and subsequently release of the suspects along with the said items, as well as in aborting the investigation (which he had initiated) even though (as it can clearly be seen) that he was acting on orders - perhaps you are yet to understand the meaning of the word CULPABLE.

Pls do not embarrass yourself further by exposing your apparent low IQ.

Even though it is quite obvious that reading and comprehension may not be one of your stronger points; however, I am obliged to challenge you to prove me wrong.

Pray tell how the commander (Abdullahi) could have been culpable in the offence i.e smuggling of weaponized drones?

No excuses, pls!

You wey supposedly get correct sense, pls explain how could have Abdullahi been culpable in the offence; after having performed his duty as the commander by immediately ordering an investigation with a view to fishing out those involved?

Likewise, wen una wan begin use una supposed superior education in basic reading and comprehension?

However, in the latest twist to the matter as discovered by SaharaReporters, out of the military personnel arrest over the incident, all those from the Northern part of the country have been released by the authorities, leaving only one ACM Chike Mba, an Easterner, in detention.

Commander Abdullah gave order for investigations to b dropped but Mba is d scape goat.. Issorait
If after preliminary investigation all those released were not found culpable; does Sahara Reporters expect them to be detained (despite their innocence) simply because they are northerners?
Interestingly; only two names were clearly identified in the report and directly associated with the incidence: Kelechi for being in possession with the drones and Mba for being implicated with the smuggling - seemingly both names resonate with a particular region known for separatist its (terrorist) agitation.

Another Cassock wearing politician, we know where your politics lies: you kept mute when your Christian brethren was at the helm of affairs, busy diverting most of the money for his failed re- election bid, including smuggling out huge amount of Dollar in cash to SA (the CAN president's private aircraft); while Boko Haram were getting bolder and taking over swathes of Nigerian territory, including bombing the UN office at seat of govt in Abuja.

Yes you didn't have any voice then, until now when they have pushed back to a small enclave in Sambisa forest and their capacity significantly reduced to mere small skirmishes and attacks (such as bombing and kidnapping) of soft targets.

Gnaeusmagnus:
Mind, I'm not here to insult anyone's state,.as it seems you think.

Rather, for Kano to have the sort of income it needs to keep that hospital first class and to build other first class infrastructure, it needs to become industrial and to actively export industrial goods.

Because it's budget cannot sustain that hospital.

Same for every state in Nigeria
Do you know the hospital; it's size and facilities, therefore the resources it requires to sustain it?

I doubt if you know Kano; it's population and budget, let alone it's priorities

If not, then how can you make valid judgement or draw any conclusion against it, such as the one you have made?

Who says you need to industrialise first before you can have a decent hospital?

You may not be speaking out of malice; however, it seems you are doing so out of ignorance.
HealthRe: Governor Ganduje Inspects Kwanar Dawaki Hospital by NaMeAboki: 7:10pm On Feb 11, 2020
Gnaeusmagnus:
1. Nigeria's budget for this year is 22 billion pounds.
Let that sink in for a moment. Meanwhile the UK spends 130 billion pounds for healthcare.

2. Although my comments were for Kano state since this is a Kano state thread, it can apply for most other states, including mine.

3..Nigeria is not a rich nation. Rich nations are industrial nations, not oil dependent messes like Nigeria that produces less oil than many a Gulf nation for a population ten times the amount.

Thank you
You are quite right, the thread is about Nigeria and in particular, Kano State; so why not stick to the subject matter - note: nobody is comparing Nigeria let alone Kano State with the UK; if any comparison is to be made; then why not draw your comparison of Kano with its peer states in Nigeria.

HealthRe: Governor Ganduje Inspects Kwanar Dawaki Hospital by NaMeAboki: 6:43pm On Feb 11, 2020
Gnaeusmagnus:
It's all very nice...but there is a problem

The issue is, how would the funding for the continued maintenance of the hospital be sourced??

The money we earn from oil, even when prices are high, is not enough to keep this hopsital well funded...and don't talk about agriculture...because most farming in Nigeria is subsitence, and less than 10% of our farming is mechanised...so there is no way we can compete with the agricultural powerhouses in Europe and elsewhere....

So, either Kano state people pay higher taxes down the road, or pay higher hospital bills, or watch as the hospital equipment breaks down because there is not enough money to fix things.

The UK spends 130 billion pounds on health annually. Nigeria spends less than 3 billion on health. And the UK has that money because they don't rely only on oil. They rely on industry and innovation. Here in Nigeria, we rely on sharing money. Instead of industry and innovation. Even the cry for restructuring is not a cry for developmet...it is a cry for more money to chop.
Kano has a high IGR base and is one of the few states that can survive without FG allocations.
Meanwhile, you may also want to tell us how your governor is doing with the resources available to him to develop your state.

And are we to suppose that the device cannot be weaponized with real dynamite or other explosives?

Even if it wasn't; then what was the intention to set it off in the midst of church goers, what does he or his sponsors intend to achieve.

No amount of damage control or other excuses can ever let him or his hidden sponsors off the hook - most especially as the video clips of his interrogation (where he can be seen confessing and naming some of his co - conspirators) has already gone viral.

This is a good lesson to those playing politics with religion and our national security - let them know that their nefarious plans to set Nigerians against one another is now in the open.

As for the statistics you can verify yourself and prove me wrong..

Have pleasant day my aboki at your suya stand where I suppose you work
Of course I wouldn't expect an apparently brainwashed insensitive fellow like you to appreciate the relief Muslims would have felt against an incessant background of media propaganda against them, about a supposed Islamisation/Fulanisation agenda (even though they, Muslims, are the greater victims of the ongoing insecurity crisis).

The capture of the failed Christian church bomber, Nathaniel Samuel, will no doubt go a long way towards debunking the above mentioned media campaign of calumny by various Christian ethnic bigots and political/religious groups, such as CAN, FFK etc. against Muslims and our national unity as well as open the eyes of their erstwhile gullible followers to their nefarious intentions.

Alas, I do not suppose an insolent Nyamiri, who is likely to be a baby factory product and therefore more likely to love-vendor his own prostitute sister/mother (based on Kanu's unfortunate statistics) along Allen Avenue or the backstreets of Aba, would understand these finer points.

Yes, you can come to my stand and buy my cold served suya at your own risk, at any time - likewise, you too have a nice day. angry

Shameless ppl; their propaganda has backfired; they have been inciting their followers with hate speeches and misinformation in order to divide Nigerians and curry sympathy from the international community, as victims of so called religious persecution - they are trying to achieve what they cannot achieve through the ballot box through a well crafted campaign of calumny and chaos.

Imagine, how Kaduna would have burned; being a renown hotbed of religious riots, had their nefarious plans to bomb their own church succeeded.

Notice how their collaborators, the media houses are trying to ignore or give a new twist to the story in order to dampen it.

You can imagine how they would have been holding a series of press interviews and studio discussions in order to draw maximum capital out of the story had it been the other way around.

Assuming (though not conceding) your cut and paste statistics were true; you would find that Muslims constitute by far the vast majority of the casualties - Christians are recklessly politicising the ongoing unfortunate insecurity which is affecting all of us.
PoliticsRe: Samuel Ezekiel: Nathaniel Samuel Is A Christian, Not Muslim - Father by NaMeAboki:
Where are the bigots who insist he is not a Christian?

Let them find another excuse to exonerate him and tell us who they would be blaming had he succeeded in detonating the bomb in the church as planned.

Let their divisive political party CAN ( a.k.a Can of Worms) organise another protest march, this time to admit their culpability in preaching more division than unity among Nigerians and furthermore apologise to the govt and the many Muslims they have maligned through their insensitive propaganda.

We have not forgotten how they marched and falsely accused Muslims of the murder of the two Benue priests and later in a similar manner, the Enugu priest; only for the truth to subsequently emerge that the priests were killed not by Muslims as alleged but by their own kinsmen and fellow Christian brothers - for which CAN had unashamedly remained silent without any apology; along with their co-conspirators, the media houses, especially AIT, who is currently trying to ignore the failed Christian Church Bomber (Nathaniel Samuel) story; unlike their usual selves when they would have been falling all over themselves in order to invite guest speakers to dissect and lambast their usual perceived enemies (Muslims/northerners).

Christian Leaders are canvassing against insecurities... Killing against both Christians and Muslims.... But they got more irritated because of the manner in which a prominent Christian leader was slaughtered... That is the highest level of inhumanity!!! The most important responsibility of the Government is security of the people especially against Terrorist. In this case the terorrist group make it clear that they are disgusted by Christianity because it is a religion of the infidel and therefore deserve to die!!!

Watch the way that clergy was beheaded again!!! It was an eyesore!!!

They even made a public ridicule and send trepidation down to people's nerve by releasing that wicked video!! How will an average Christian not see this as an attack on his/her religion .. No.. it is not the religious leaders that is teaching Christians of being victimized!!!

The video sum it all!!! It is becoming unbecoming!!! Nobody is safe in this country!!!

The Terrorist group kill both Muslims and Christians.. But they intentionally ridicule Christinaity by decaptitating a clergyan after chanting Allahu Akbar!!!

What the Christian Leaders are doing now, is never out of place!!!!
Yes indeed, the beheading was gruesome; but do you know how many more Muslims have been killed in such fashion; why then must Christians make it an exceptional case and give an impression as though they are the only ones being victimised?

Maybe you have not watched news reports on some of the protest marches where Christians are clearly claiming that the killings mainly targeted against them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV3rIAvTiOo

Here they are again protesting against the Benue (two) priests killings which was later discovered to have been carried out not by herdsmen as they hastily alleged but by Benue indigenes who were also Christians - just like the Enugu priest also killed by his kinsmen

Quite on the contrary; I have repeatedly said that every life is equally important; yes indeed the killings are wrong and do matter, nobody is supporting it; however, what is equally wrong is for Christian leaders and organisations like CAN to worsen the situation by misleading their followers into believing that they are being targeted and killed by Muslims in line with a secret agenda of Islamisation/Fulanisation (which anyone with common sense knows that is far from the truth); thereby causing more disunity and hatred among Nigerians; and moreover demarketing Nigeria in the eyes of the international community as a bad country - with attendant consequences such as the recent visa restriction by the USA.

When they behead a prominent Imam, the you will relate properly with the question!!!
You are missing the point; recall the main of the thread is whether or not CAN is politicising the the killing to look as if Christians are being targeted and persecuted (under an alleged Islamisation/Fulanisation agenda) as opposed to Muslims.

Your question is therefore quite irrelevant because already mentioned; a life is a life whether you are a chairman, Iman, Christian or Muslim.

Nonetheless; let me indulge you by naming Sheik Ja'afar gunned down in cold blood, while leading a congregational morning prayer in a Mosque in Kano; similarly Sheik Albani killed along with his wife and son in Zaria; Ibrahim Birkuti, gunned down outside his residence in Biu; I am sure there are many more examples; many of you are unaware because Muslims do not own/control the majority of the Nigerian media nor do they need to publicise/politicise the killings.

It is quite unfortunate that rather upholding their calling (of preaching peace, love and tolerance) the Christian clergy are the ones often inciting hate, mistrust and disunity among Nigerians by misleading and often preaching propaganda as well as outright lies to their followers.
