Education / Re: Guys, Did I Overcharge This Woman For This? by narite: 11:06pm On Jul 30, 2023
Jewessgratitud3:
A colleague of mine called me last week and Said a woman needs a sounds teacher to come and take the child on sounds this summer to enable the child read before school resumes and that she wants someone with British diction.
So, because I'm a diction instructor and have done that kind of job in the past ( like nine years ago) my friend recommended me.

Back then ( 2014) when I was into this home lesson full time, I was charging 25k per child and its three times a week and I pick the places I go to. No long distance thing.
Now with the current situation of the economy and considering my age, I charged this woman 50k three times a week and she said it's too much. Meanwhile, the school the child is attending was where I taught before I left and started doing home lesson and their school fees then ( 2014) was 95k for prep class. By now it should be around 150k. My friend already told me the school the child attends.

She said it's too much that she can only afford 20k. I just ignored them. They will pay 150k for school fees, nothing much to show for it but will want to give you peanut and expect you to perform magic under 1month.

If I handle the child, no doubt, she'll read and her accent will change but definitely not for that amount. I'll now be trekking that long distance cos no bike and somebody is telling me 50k is too much.

Did I do wrong by ignoring them cos they want me to come and start this August but I have zeroed my mind there.

Would you accept such amount for home lesson?
I don’t have kids but I have neighbors who have got those little pumpkins.

I am fantasizing on the thought of enrolling their kids into your private lessons all just so i could see your dazzling face everyday, for the rest of my mortal life. What do you feel?

Man constantly worries about tomorrow, that he forget today and when tomorrow comes, he wishes he could go back to yesterday. He lives as if he will never die and died as if he as never lived.

Free yourself from earthly bondages, it great to have goals but it should not be a must do or die thing. Enjoy and savor the present, experience is the only thing you will take away from this life. So my friend fill your life with experiences as much as possible.

It does not take money to have ladies. You just have to give them little while giving them expectations that bigger is coming. In the meantime you shower them with attention.

Nairaland is fun with people like you, honestly.
Wow, I am glad some of us are still having fun. All the projects I invested in last year have all lost 99% of their value. It obvious they are not coming back up. Although, I have cut my losses and move on but I am still deeply pained.

Honestly, despite all my reckless mistakes; the rapid, unending devaluation of the Naira is the only reason why I did not suffer a massive catastrophic loss in this space.

From here on, I will be sticking to the basics coins only, coīns that are in top 10. No more fuckïng shitcòin for me.

What I have learnt so far. Yes! There are shitcoins that go up by X100 but for every one winner, there are 1,001 losers. The Winners are what is being talked about everywhere (more like testimony) they never talk about the countless losers.

I Just find the courage to book an overall loss of 814,500.44 Naira. The opportunity cost is what makes me fuçking angry.

If you are out there and chasing coins with very low valuations in the hope they will be valued billions and you strike it big. Not a bad idea. Good luck!

This Post Striked a Nerve and Cut Real Deep, There is No age Specified For Marriage(Truth Be Told )

Many unmarried Ladies at 30+ Happened Because Of unmatched Partners , Some was Wrong association When They Where Young (Slut life )

The world Statistics Shows By 2030 over 42% ladies Born From 1989 till 1995 Will be Unmarried and will Be in their Late Mid Thirties to Early 40's ....

Advice to Ladies

Be a wife material ( Ready to Marryable ) : Not all Women are Marryable, Certain Things You will have to Sacrifice To marry, if you ain't Ready, don't marry it will implicate things and make it Difficult e.g Feminism

If You're Into Romantic Games for marriage Purpose, don't Follow a man and Play Enjoyment Life, Men are Like Olive branches, their Testosterone Keeps them Young Till Even 45yrs.... And will Still have kids at 60yrs ...

Be intentional about Your Life Stop Joking with Jokers

Marriage Is Not the Ultimate,

Incase You can't Make it early, if You're Smart and Wealthy ,you can Have a Surrogate child or adopt One.

Don't Go after Already made men ( Other Women have Snatched him already when he was in the Process) Go For Hustlers/ In the Process Guys (High Chances of Marriage) , Men's value appreciate with Time, Women's value (physical) Diminish with Time Only personal Value increases.

Your reported statistics could quite turned out to be true. Men of today don’t want to take responsibilities. They have been badly negatively influenced by the society (too much entertainment, improper upbringing, looking up too wrong role models (the useless celebrities) and a lot more.

We have a generation of men that want to stay as Boys, this mentality is spreading faster than virus. It all over the world.

Jovialjune1:

A very pathetic reasoning

Was banky blind and didn't know Adesuwa was an actress before he dated and married her? Why did he go for a famous person like her instead of a random homely woman?

And at the bolded you are silly, it is this nonsense narrative you men use to deceive yourselves that makes you cheat with impunity,

The biggest treasure anyone can have in this life is what they achieve for themselves not another human being, no one in the world has ever being known or popular simply because they have a husband and children, this life is per head, happiness comes from within not from someone else, even heaven does not recognise marriage because on the last day, you will be called to answer for your deeds on earth, not for any husband or children.

There are some things I want to share with you but I feel something strongly holding me back not to, so am going to leave you with this short words.

If you get to live to the age of 60, I hope you do. The things you will want to talk about in life are not those flashy cars you bought, not the shelf of awards in your home, not the luxury clubs or homes you visited, not the high status people you meet in your lifetime. All you want to talk about is not your life but that of your children, your grandchildren, their father and even their father father.

If there is nothing good you could tell about them, to yourself, to others, your children are disaster, their father has never been there, you will naturally know you have been a failure.

Yes! People who really are not close to you and those who are close to you but are fake, will praise you in life for your big achievement and sing your name but it won’t change the fact that you will be miserable because you have realized what some of them are yet to realize, the most important in life “FAMILY”.

As a woman, the children you are leaving behind, what becomes of them after you are gone is what truly decides whether you have been a success or failure. Check around you and you will see.

Have fun in life and chase after big dreams but while at it “always remember the most important thing” be ready to sacrifice every other things for it. It is my hope that the latter stages of your life will be far greater than it beginning.

You're pathetic and silly.
The guy speaks nothing but the truth. Women should set their priorities straight. Their home should always come first, meaning; solely giving undivided attention to their children and husband.

Husband and Children are the biggest treasure a woman can have in life. Slightly Ignore them and within a blink of an eye, the devil will take them away from you.

Good morning everyone.
Has anybody been able to withdraw on hotbit? That exchange made an announcement that people can withdraw and yet did the opposite. The more reason this sector needs a regulation. Disregard all their crocodile tears about not needing regulations. Most of them are scamming people by tricks..
When did you try to withdraw? I initiated a withdrawal and it was swiftly processed.

As at today am not sure one can still withdraw from the exchange cause today is the final deadline they gave to their user who has assets on their exchange.

Don't you have something you do in the real world? Like a job; something productive that takes a chunk of your time. How do you survive?

You spend; most, if not all your time here and I have never being able to take away something meaningful from any of your posts.

Maybe the right question I should be asking you is. Just how old are you? If you are below the age of 20 then all your actions are understandable.

However, if you are above the age of 20 you are not a child anymore, even if you are lucky to have parents that gives you parental protection; this should not make you carefree becoming absolutely useless to yourself and to them rather you should take meaningful advantage of it.

Try and Upgrade your mentality. Find something meaningful, worthwhile to do. Time is Ticking out!!!
