PoliticsRe: Pdp Caucus: Zoning Stays ! by naso2(m): 6:56pm On Aug 13, 2010
@omo~fat

Just be careful before Gbawe confers the honour of "GRAND COMMANDER OF THE NIGER DELTA" on you. grin grin grin I have been on the same issue with Gbawe on several threads like: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-496385.0.html

While he is entitled to his opinion , he seems to be working too hard to discredit GEJ.

Gbawe if OBJ is a dor-or-die politician, what is tinubu?

AC is almost settlling on Ribadu as their flagbearer even before any primaries, thereafter they will organise some people and have a dress reharsal . That will be victory for democracy to some people.
SportsRe: Siasia Wants N15m Per Month To Coach Eagles by naso2(m): 4:27pm On Aug 13, 2010
This is the first time the NFF will be making the salary of a yet-to-be-appointed coach public. I suspect these guys are on top some mischief. They seem to be building a case against SIASIA so that they can revert to another mediocre coach.

If the salary thing is true, i feel it is too much. 15m inside Niger? abeg make siasia kool down. make him manage 5m abeg.

Haba how can you say that? Ok the "North" is now one Geopolitical region abi? This you proposition that the "north" can field whoever they like is in itself why inequity will be more serious under zoning. The reason being that , provided it is between north and south , it becomes so ambigous that , it will be difficult to stop geopolitical zones that have done their turn from forcing their way in  again provided they have the voting mass. Meaning that after the north finishes in 2015 , nothing stops a yoruba man from emerging from the south again.

I know you are very smart and obviuosly trying to dodge something I am bringing out to show that even the proponents of zoning like ATiku and IBB are not sincere else they are supposed to know that the zoning rules them out. How? The North west started in 2007 and had UMYA not died , he would have done a second term to "balance" the equation.

My conclusion therefore is that if zoning is to continue, it must remain in the northwest where UMYA is from. The last time i checked IBB is from Niger -North central and ATIKU from Adamawa-- North EAst. They both are not eligible. If even the northerners are not sincere with implementing the zoning to the letter, then why should GEJ be?

The problem now is that IBB and ATIKU want to use zoning to scare GEJ, and make it easy for them to clinch presidency , when they are not even eligible.

Since you obviously evaded answering my question 1, let me rephrase. which zone should produce the next president in the spirit of Zoning? is it northwest, northeast or northcentral?
PoliticsRe: What Nigerians Are Saying About Jonathan ! by naso2(m): 3:06pm On Aug 13, 2010
Gbawe:
Why don't you speak about the PDP constitution that Jonathan is trying to subvert ? Does that show any honour or integrity ? I don't support zoning but the PDP voted in its favour and it is actually supported in the Party's constitution . You should ask why Jonathan , if he is honourable , not do what Donald Duke is doing instead of Mr. President deciding that the sack of Ogbulafor and various arm-twisting tactics is the way to go .

It is obvious that Jonathan and his sponsors are desperate for power because of the massive opportunites for self-enrichment it gives them. Otherwise why does Jonathan , especially as he is aware of the rancour the removal of zoning from the PDP constitution will cause, not just run on the platform of another Party or as an Independent candidate if Mr.President is sure of his own personal approval rating?
Before i speak further on zoning i want you to answer these questions:

1. If zoning is retained (according to PDP constitution), which zone should produce the president in 2011?
2. Tell me any candidate in Africa that can win a presidential election as an independent candidate.? Be real abeg.
PoliticsRe: What Nigerians Are Saying About Jonathan ! by naso2(m): 2:57pm On Aug 13, 2010
Gbawe i dont know how else to put it. It will really be impossible for every man in ND even Ijaws to support GEJ. Even Tam david west is campaigning for Buhari. What i hate is for someone to come tell me that Tam david west is more objective than I am , because he supports a northerner.  some northerners support GEJ too, both fake and real supporters.

Ok , let me ask the  de-tribalised Gbawe who he voted for in 2003? The SW  gave un-alloyed support to OBJ irrespective of party divide. Was it because of his performance between 1999-2003? Definitely not. But a lot of "objective" Yorubas voted for him. I voted for OBJ too because i felt he was a better devil than Buhari.

Yes you call it tribal sentiment, but i strongly feel  kick starting the kind of developmental projects needed in the ND and SE will require someone that both feels the pain of this people and has the political wherewithal to act.

Take it from me, anyone that wins 2011 and fails to give the development of the ND top priority will run his government on foreign loans. We will all witness our daily export drop from 2.3 million barrels a day to less than 500,000 barrels. No be mouth , no be threat, amnesty or not.
This is the reason why i will hardly support Buhari when i consider the distribution of projects throughout his reign as PTF boss.

Gbawe:
Wether you like it or not , me and you are pals now  wink. Pals know and understand each other  wink.  This your new angle of trying to paint me is an Ijaw Hater will not work . It is another cheap ploy amongst many seen from you already.

Meanwhile everyone can see that I have a point when I state that the most blind supporters of Jonathan (you , Na-so and probably Papabrowne) on Nairaland are Ijaw folks same as Mr.President . At least it is becoming obvious to some young Nairalanders why Nigeria remains as it is . They can now see that supposedly good guys will support misdeamours and misgovernance if it is coming from their region . They will even supply mitigation for what every adult can adjudge to be wrong. Na-so admitted that he supports Jonathan because he wants an ND President . Must Nigeria , with all what we are seeing from Jonathan , lose out because of the sectional interest of those who cannot see the big picture like you ?
Must you reduce my entire response to just this point? Is it that the other parts of my are no-go areas for you?
PoliticsRe: What Nigerians Are Saying About Jonathan ! by naso2(m): 1:49pm On Aug 13, 2010
Gbawe is not a PDP member, he wants PDP voted out in the next election, he knows the Nigerian constitution makes every nigerian eligible to run for presidential elections, he however celebrates the retention of zoning in PDP provided that eliminates GEJ. Why  am  I  not suprised?

I am however too suprised that Gbawe has concluded that the only people supporting GEJ on this forum are Ijaws from SS based on ethnic sentiments  and every other fair-minded nigerian like him is against GEJ. Kai, how u urself see dis your logic?
PoliticsRe: What Nigerians Are Saying About Jonathan ! by naso2(m): 1:06pm On Aug 13, 2010
Gbawe:
I knew it . This explains why you are blind to the questionable actions of Jonathan that many Nigerians of consistent and undoubted integrity are beginning to speak against daily . Nothing , from Jonathan's actions , point to him as a man who want's to "correct some of the age-long ills against the oil-producing communities"

Yet we have seen a lot of actions that , to most objective and detribalised Nigerians , show that Jonathan is "more of the same".  You can claim that I "run down Jonathan" all you wan't  but I think it will be clear to many Niaralander that I wan't Nigeria to gain the President she needs at this particular point in time. Jonathan's desperate and daily actions (which you still fail to comment on like the billions to be spent on Presidential Planes) show that he will not take Nigeria forward.

Like I said before , Ribadu, to me and to most Nigerians, represents the best of flawed tools while Jonathan , as Nigerians are speaking daily, represent the worst of flawed tools. Money is being thrown at everything and everyone under Jonathan currently yet Ribadu took a $15 million shocked shocked bribe to the CBN as proof against Ibori !!!! I will leave you to figure out which of the two men has the better credentials to fight Nigeria's number one enemy - corruption .
You knew what? see me see talk. grin grin  My friend i am not afraid to state how i feel. Is you position not informed by your being an AC member/supporter? I am not a member/supporter of any party but for presidential election , I am with GEJ. live with it.

Finally you have a second accusation against GEJ for the planes he bought. Please do me a favour and mention this credible nigerians and what they have said about GEJ. Its seems like being a critic automatically confers credibility abi?
PoliticsRe: What Nigerians Are Saying About Jonathan ! by naso2(m): 12:35pm On Aug 13, 2010
@Gbawe

If only you can look at GEJ with exactly same prism you have used for ribadu. . . . . you will not suddenly turn a GEJ fan, but atleast you will be less critical. Like ribadu had to look away from the flaws of OBJ and his  loyalist so that he will remain in office to execute some his planned good work, so is jonathan doing to secure another four years so that he can at least have an opportunity to lead the nation for another 4 years.

As touching the campaign, the fact that SNG, and soyinka fought for GEJ to be sworn in , does not mean they(SNG,soyinka) will now turn PDP members, conversely the fact that they supported GEJ should not make him forget that he carries a PDP ticket. I may want to also state that being friends with the press does not in itself make one a credible Nigerian. Tinubu gets fovourable press ratings but by my reckoning he is not credible.

For the cailbre of those campaigning for GEJ, I dont need to tell you that in cases like this you hardly can stop anyone from making statements to support GEJ's dreams. Yes even if they are criminals. The question we want to ask is if these band of campaigners are licensed by GEJ to do so for him. I will only be worried if actually the MANTUs, of this world are contracted by GEJ to do so. If a politician senses that supporting jonathan's bid , present a chance of coming out of the cold(however slim that chance appears), then i doubt if it makes sense for jonathan to just ask him to stop.

On why i support GEJ , most importantly is because he is from the SS, and i percieve that this is a rare chance for the SS to lead the nation and possibly correct some of the age-long ills against the oil-producing communities. Forget about zoning, even the mallams know that their greed and dependence on govt patronage will make it too hard for them to stay out of power for too long. Except by some divine workings like GEJ'S case this rotation talk will never get to SS and SE. It will only rotate between some select peoples of the north and the SW. If you call me tribal, so be it. I have been an OBJ and ribadu  fan for years, i supported the sacking of ALAMS, and a lot other happenings BUT ON THIS I GO WITH GEJ

I have been in the SW all my life and hardly can point to any time where I have had any personal favours from a tribesman. But on this i still go with GEJ.

My support for jonathan is also fuelled by  his seeming listening style of leadership which a lot of you have quickly dismissed as clueless .

On corruption , aside the case of his wife's aide which remains connected to her, I am not aware of any other slur. But even the Buharis of this world, as upright as they appear to us all,  still can not explain the 54 suitcases of the emir of Gwandu that passed security checks through executive cover. Neither do we not have some calls of misappropriation of some billions in PTF funds during his headship of that organ.

We all have flaws, Jonathan and the different candidates you support inclusive. This explains why i will always voice my displeasure  when you take it upon yourself to always run GEJ down on this forum. State the positives of the candidates you support and let GEJ be.

PoliticsRe: Talk To Ibb Direct Through This Link by naso2(m): 9:56am On Aug 13, 2010
IBB, our all time maradona, the earlier you realise that you not as smart as Nigerians made you look when you were our military dictator, the better for you. People were just afraid for their lives and sorry, that fear has graduated to anger. NEVER AGAIN. Even Diego maradona just proved at SA recently that he has lost that special touch. How much less our self-deceiving general.

Did you loot so much that you still have so much to throw around, or is it just a need for fresh excitement? Then why not consider marrying another wife. That will help calm your nerves. BUT TO BE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY AGAIN, THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN EVEN IN YOUR DREAMS.

Again are you now so old that you do not realise when the same logic upon which you seek to contest and win, already rules you out? Is niger state now in the NORTH WEST? Dont you know that if zoning is to be sustained , then it must remain in the NORTH WEST and not the entire NORTH?

You see? your IQ is far less than what you always thought .

I've always said it that Eguavoen is a great coach. I remember when he took over the super eagles that could not score nor string 3 correct passes under Christian Chukwu in 2006, with the same super eagles players that he chukwu handled he made the team score a whooping 10goals in two matches. 5-2 away at Algeria and 5-1 at home with Zimbabwe unfortunately it was too late for NFF because Angola went on to win their remaining matches and qualified ahead of SE.

I think we should have left him alone to build our team then but we are never patient instead we went to bring on low-lifer Amodu.
So tell me , how many goals did the team score at CAN 2006 in Egypt after 6 matches? Afterall he used the same players that scored 10 goals in two matches.

All dis kind analysis na im dey tire me for NL.

Plot by the National secretariat ir not, plot by godfathers or not, ALL CANDIDATES MUST EMERGE THROUGH PRIMARIES (according to the new electoral act) and so no consensus candidate.

So the Governors who from experience always have control of the grassroot marceneries might pull surprises at the primaries. It is very difficult to beat an incumbent Governor or his sponsored candidate in his party primaries.

So, this is not business as usual. No be yams again!!!

You just dont like GEJ and I dont have a problem with that. What i struggle with are your reasons.

Like it or not it will be a straight fight between GEJ and Buhari.

Ribadu will only indirectly work for GEJ's good as he will help split northern votes. GEJ will contest under PDP, if he looses, so be it. But nobody can intimidate him by some one-sided analysis.

The best post here. From the guys statement he gets home trying to unleash most times to cool the tension within as a result of the hotties he saw during the day. Selfish. The problem with this attitude to sex is that ones you are ok , you careless about your partners state. Too bad.

Ask yourself, "what memories do i leave with her after these "sessions"? If you objectively answer this, then you may not be too far from the real problem. While everyone knows that libido varies, and for a woman too many things affect her attitude to sex, the truth his if you are meeting her needs adequately in bed, even the most disciplined "margret thatcher" will find you irresistible most times.
