Hello guys,
Congrats to everyone that has gotten the visa. Please I have a question about filling the visa application. I would like if I can fill my aunty place in the accommodation section on the form even if she staying in London and my school is in Birmingham?
Thank you for your responses

Please what is the driving record about?
Is it the documents that contains the information about your age, genotype and stuff like that?
adigun183:

Here’s the contact for the driving record: mr sule 0803 379 5031. However, you’ll need to have a drivers license before you can apply for the driving record. I think you can visit the nearest FRSC office for how to get a license.
PS mr sule works at the abuja headquarters.
I hope this helps!

Sorry did you pay in house courier at all?
Jesusrules24:
It has ended in praise!

I sent my passport November 5th to Abuja VFS via, DHL.... 2 way courier.

About 3 - 4 days later, I got the acknowledgement from VFS.

And then I got an email saying my passport was sent to Lagos. (Which I didn't understand since I sent to Abuja.)
I received several other emails, counterfoil and letter of introduction.

Long story short, I received my passport yesterday via DHL.

I didn't have to call or send a message to VFS.

Please what payment method did you use, trying to book an Airbnb from Nigeria
rebecausoro:

Basically, you pay for an on-campus residence for the quarantine period and then fill the online form before arrival. I paid for a one month lease of $800. That lease starts on the 5th but with this VFS wahala, I can only bite my lips at this point.

The tracking number is just to confirm whether your biometrics has been submitted to IRCC. If you want to check your application status, you need to log into your gc key
HorlarJP:
Please how can I track my application, I saw a tracking ID on a slip giving to me after doing my biometrics at VFS Canada. Will I be able to track it with that?

Sorry the consent form is the same as the one we filled for biometrics?
Dampops:
They should’ve told her what to do...but in any case, she’s to make a payment of N12,570 and fill a consent form which will be sent back to them...along with evidence of payment of the amount above.

She’ll include her tracking ID in the email...

Good day guys, can someone please explain what to do when the passport is ready for collection. VFS Lagos is highly disorganized, a friend of mine got letter of introduction from IRCC since last week and she didn't hear from them again until she kept sending email to them. They just sent that they are sorry that the passport is with them now without details of how to receive it o. Kindly assist on it

Hi, do you know any such group for people going toward the New Brunswick province
katyamizotta:

hi there, there is a "settling in canada" newcomers (all of Canada)group if you are yet to land. But you need to be in Ottawa and have a verifiable address (even if it is an airbnb) to be in the "Nigerians in ottawa" group

Good choice. You will love it here in Ottawa. Massive supportive Nigerian population.

Thank you sir for this.
Hollyholy:

For number 3 use the name of the immigration advisor on your i20 and use the school address and his email too.

Then for your own address still use the school address to show that you will stay on campus

Sorry to disturb you guys, I have been reading the trend so far, I would like to ask some questions
1) is there anyone on this platform that has been approved without scholarship or full funding because I have been trying to get a scholarship but it has not been easy
2) I got admission for post undergraduate nursing program, do you think it is a red flag for visa interview?
3) point of contact in USA on the ds-160, what if I don't have anyone that can stand for me, how do I tackle that?
Thank you

Hi,
BVL = biometrics validation letter, letter that shows the validity of biometrics
PPR = original passport request, if your application is approved then your passport will be needed to stamp the visa on
AIP = approval in principle, it was used during fall session for those who could not submit all the necessary documents due to covid 19. It simply state eligiblity has been passed. You can read the first 8 pages to know how to apply. I hope this helps
Chrisomila:
Pls what is the meaning BVL, PPR, AIP? And which website with I apply for my Student permit and when will someone attend interview, is it before medical?

From yaba, enter obalende, from obalende enter lekki/ajah bus, tell them you want to stop at the third roundabout. Cross to the other side and ask for VFS office building. Good luck
