When Soludo wanted to redecimalize the naira some years back during Yaradua's tenure it was the same cabals that kicked against it. Something that Ghana did that made their currency strong. Now a dollar is almost a thousand naira and no one is able to stop the free fall.

The reality is that Nigeria isn't ready to progress because our corrupt state benefits the cabals.

I remembered when Soluo wanted to redecimalize the naira. He even printed coins. I was privileged to see the new coins that was printed by the CBN.

It's a pity how we've sunk so deep.

The Russians did same and that is why their currency never fell against international expectations when sanctions was imposed on them. Europeans were made to buy the Russian rouble before they could buy oil and gas and this made the rouble to have a high value.

So what's stopping the president from telling prospective buyers of our crude to pay in naira?

This why we have to sit back and see what Atiku's lawyers have received. Tinubu's failed efforts of trying to conceal his certificate only raised more eyebrows, thus leaving people to believe that Atiku's claims about his certificate are true.

By tomorrow, Atiku's lawyers would verify if....

1. The certificate truly belongs to Tinubu and not someone else as some of us believe. Which as you know if true, automatically becomes a case of identity fraud.

2. The names and gender on the certificate correspond with the name on the APC presidential form Tinubu submitted to INEC.

If this is established and proven to be accurate, case closed. It's as ease as abc.

The minimum qualification for contesting for the post of the president in Nigeria is WAEC. If Tinubu didn't feel comfortable sharing his university results, he should have submitted WAEC.

He submitted a questionable university certificate. That's forgery. The word concealment doesn't hold water when a case of forgery has been established.

If you're the MD of a company and you discover that one of your staff submitted a Forged certificate during his recruitment, would you retain such person, knowing fully well that he lacks credibility and accountability?

You're not an underachieving, you're on the verge of accepting that you're a failure. Believe me, this is worse than being an underachiever.

You still stay with your parents, which should be a boost for you cos you won't have to worry about rent and feeding.

What's the way out?

1. Leave the online business for now, cos online businesses takes months (or even years) of nurturing before it attains your desired maturity.

2. Go for a physical business for now. For starters, walk into provision stores that sell fried/baked snacks such as meat pie, donuts, egg rolls, coated peanuts...etc in bulk. Negotiate with them for possible supply and give them a reasonable price. If they agree, you can borrow money from your parents to buy flour and other things you'll need to start.

Your profit might not be in hundreds of thousands, but you'd have something to call your own as you look towards the future with the hope that things would get better.

3. You can go into barbeque and spaghetti. Since you're a female, guys would partonize you heavily. You don't need a shop for this. All you need is a space, which shouldn't cost much. Then you can meet a welder to construct the BBQ stand. Your budget wouldn't be up to 200k. Which to me, isn't much.

These are cheap businesses you can venture into pending when you're able to put yourself together financially.

What if Tinubu buys Atiku's lawyers, and they publish something different from what the university gave to them. I've been thinking about this since yesterday.

Tinubu is a very desperate man, he can offer them any amount to manipulate what they received...

I was just discussing this with someone earlier today, and I was asking him this same question. Why Nigeria is so dependant on the dollar as though it's our currency?

We can choose to sell our crude and conduct international trade in naira. A lot of countries like India, Brazil, Russia, China... etc, have already started conducting international trades in their own currency. It's a means of strengthing their local currency, and increasing it's demand globally.

I don't understand this Dollar dependance we're practicing here.

They still exist, but they don't operate the way they used to do in the past. I.e having tens of computers connected to a server for customers to access the internet from.

Salary earners... monthly... but because of our country's tendency to owe workers salary, then it's better to pay every 3 months, or 6 months...
Reason is that, most times, salary is always fixed.. so by deducting some amount monthly for rent, you will get used to it...
But paying yearly doesn't really favour salary earners, coz in most cases, your yearly rent is always more than your one month salary.. that means, there's always tension when it's time to pay rent...

While, Business people, yearly is better...
Coz their case is an example of "money no dey today, e go dey tomorrow"....

The rule of the thumb for salary earners is that your rent shouldn't be higher than your 3 months salary.

If your company pays you 13 months salary as some companies do, it's an added advantage cos you'd have 10 months pay to sort out yourself and family.

1. Open an online account. I'll recommend opay because they won't be debiting you unnecessary like how commerical banks do.

2. Whenever you receive your salary, transfer 30k from your salary account to that account.

3. From the remaining 40k, use 20k to feed yourself. However you choose to do it is totally up to you. But I'll recommend you patronize street food vendors, they're way cheaper than the standard regular restaurants.

4. From the remaining 20k, use 10k for your transportation to work and the other 10k would be for miscellaneous... recharge card, data...etc.

I can't sleep in blinding darkness, I'd prefer some light reflections to illuminate the room a bit. And luckily for me, there's always light reflexions from close buildings, those light reflections makes it easier for me to sleep.
