Initial gra gra....I can bet my broken screen infinix phone which I've abandoned that Naira Marley would be cleared of all charges after the interrogation. Nigeria is not a place to seek justice. |
Her brother is in the hospital and she's the one begging for money, doesn't she have parents who's responsibility it is is take care of their son? Just tell her you don't have. |
If not that Nigeria is a highly corrupt country, Tinubu should have been made to resign for submitting forged documents to INEC. When you have people defending a supposed leader who submitted a Forged certificate, what kind of country would you expect, it's a shame that integrity has become an alien word in Nigeria. |
From that picture, I believe it's safe to conclude that the collapsed roof occured as a result of poorly constructed beams erected to support the weight of the modern roofing system, hence the collapse. This is why we should avoid cutting corners during construction, as a slight error can lead to catastrophy. May the soul of the Departed rest in peace. |
This should be an easy win for us. Since we're becoming below expectations in the EPL, ETH can win the UCL to pacify the minds of ManUtd fans. This should be a walk-in-the-park for ManUtd. |
themanderon:The reality is that Nigeria isn't ready to progress because our corrupt state benefits the cabals. I remembered when Soluo wanted to redecimalize the naira. He even printed coins. I was privileged to see the new coins that was printed by the CBN. It's a pity how we've sunk so deep. |
themanderon:So what's stopping the president from telling prospective buyers of our crude to pay in naira? If he does this, the naira would certainly increase in value. |
AllenSpencer:This why we have to sit back and see what Atiku's lawyers have received. Tinubu's failed efforts of trying to conceal his certificate only raised more eyebrows, thus leaving people to believe that Atiku's claims about his certificate are true. By tomorrow, Atiku's lawyers would verify if.... 1. The certificate truly belongs to Tinubu and not someone else as some of us believe. Which as you know if true, automatically becomes a case of identity fraud. 2. The names and gender on the certificate correspond with the name on the APC presidential form Tinubu submitted to INEC. If this is established and proven to be accurate, case closed. It's as ease as abc. |
AllenSpencer:Please leave Donald Trump out of this. I don't give my voice to American politics because I'm a Nigerian living in Nigeria. The minimum qualification for contesting for the post of the president in Nigeria is WAEC. If Tinubu didn't feel comfortable sharing his university results, he should have submitted WAEC. He submitted a questionable university certificate. That's forgery. The word concealment doesn't hold water when a case of forgery has been established. If you're the MD of a company and you discover that one of your staff submitted a Forged certificate during his recruitment, would you retain such person, knowing fully well that he lacks credibility and accountability? |
You're not an underachieving, you're on the verge of accepting that you're a failure. Believe me, this is worse than being an underachiever. You still stay with your parents, which should be a boost for you cos you won't have to worry about rent and feeding. What's the way out? 1. Leave the online business for now, cos online businesses takes months (or even years) of nurturing before it attains your desired maturity. 2. Go for a physical business for now. For starters, walk into provision stores that sell fried/baked snacks such as meat pie, donuts, egg rolls, coated peanuts...etc in bulk. Negotiate with them for possible supply and give them a reasonable price. If they agree, you can borrow money from your parents to buy flour and other things you'll need to start. Your profit might not be in hundreds of thousands, but you'd have something to call your own as you look towards the future with the hope that things would get better. 3. You can go into barbeque and spaghetti. Since you're a female, guys would partonize you heavily. You don't need a shop for this. All you need is a space, which shouldn't cost much. Then you can meet a welder to construct the BBQ stand. Your budget wouldn't be up to 200k. Which to me, isn't much. These are cheap businesses you can venture into pending when you're able to put yourself together financially. |
AllenSpencer:So why was he fighting so had to have his credentials concealed? |
Taylor92:What if Tinubu buys Atiku's lawyers, and they publish something different from what the university gave to them. I've been thinking about this since yesterday. Tinubu is a very desperate man, he can offer them any amount to manipulate what they received... |
I was just discussing this with someone earlier today, and I was asking him this same question. Why Nigeria is so dependant on the dollar as though it's our currency? We can choose to sell our crude and conduct international trade in naira. A lot of countries like India, Brazil, Russia, China... etc, have already started conducting international trades in their own currency. It's a means of strengthing their local currency, and increasing it's demand globally. I don't understand this Dollar dependance we're practicing here. |
spencekat:They still exist, but they don't operate the way they used to do in the past. I.e having tens of computers connected to a server for customers to access the internet from. They're mostly in form of business centers, assisting student fill their JAMB, PUTME, Army, Navy, Airforce, Police, NYSC, Visa...etc forms respectively. |
UncleKoboko:If your brake fails, it would be impossible to do this because your gear wouldn't move unless you step on the brake which in this case, isn't functional. |
If you truly want to help, start by asking her who is responsible for the pregnancy. |
RepoMan007:In that case, the couples can look for other bills to spilt amongst themselves since that of water is already included in the rent which the man pays. Alternatively, they can spilt the rent bill since it includes both water and rent. |
Very good of him. Not like Dave umahi who went and named Ebonyi state airport after Buhari. |
RepoMan007:Maybe in houses where they buy water. Cos most landlords these days build their houses with boreholes, thus eliminating every kind or form of water bill. |
Puss360:The rule of the thumb for salary earners is that your rent shouldn't be higher than your 3 months salary. If your company pays you 13 months salary as some companies do, it's an added advantage cos you'd have 10 months pay to sort out yourself and family. |
saintbillion:This is serious, it's been months I refilled. Maybe because I don't cook much. What's your location? |
Avoid wasting your time and resources on jobless girls who date for survival. Look for someone who geninuely loves and makes sacrifices for you. That way even if you're sending her money, you would know that she deserves it. |
I prefer yearly Biko, so that I can rest. Monthly rent is for rural communities where rent is quite cheap. I've come across many like that in the SE. Most of them are petty traders. Their rent is between 1-2k every month. You can't expect someone who's rent is over 1m or more to be paying it monthly, most especially if he's a salary earner with a family. He'll definitely owe you. |
bukatyne:Exactly! Most people in this category the op is referring to get married because they feel they're of age and therefore should be married, and not because they have found true love. A vast number of them have zero romantic connection with their spouses. The marriage is just for having sex breeding kids. This is why they cheat without any form of conscience cos they see their marriage as a prison, and want some breathing space. I'll say this and say it again and again. No spouse would get fed up and cheat on a partner he/she geninuely loves and respects. |
turmacs:If your blood brother gifts all those things you mentioned to his girlfriend, and you hear about it, would you support his actions and encourage his girlfriend to milk him more or would you reprimand him. If you choose the latter, you're nothing but a hypocrite. |
Aside the job and apartment you have, what else have you achieved? Because hoping on salary for survival without any other means of income in this Tinubu's administration can be suicidal. I do frown at young men rushing into marriage at your age simply because they have a job. What if you loose the job, have you thought of how you're going to survive with your wife and kid in this harsh economy? You should know that marriage is expensive, what you spend on yourself as a single guy daily would be a child's play compared to what you'd be spending in your home. |
CedarHoldings:Do the following. 1. Open an online account. I'll recommend opay because they won't be debiting you unnecessary like how commerical banks do. 2. Whenever you receive your salary, transfer 30k from your salary account to that account. 3. From the remaining 40k, use 20k to feed yourself. However you choose to do it is totally up to you. But I'll recommend you patronize street food vendors, they're way cheaper than the standard regular restaurants. 4. From the remaining 20k, use 10k for your transportation to work and the other 10k would be for miscellaneous... recharge card, data...etc. |
I can't sleep in blinding darkness, I'd prefer some light reflections to illuminate the room a bit. And luckily for me, there's always light reflexions from close buildings, those light reflections makes it easier for me to sleep. |
