New born babies should be kept in a safe and enclosed bed. Only trusted families and friends should be allowed to carry them. It's very wrong to give your baby to just anyone to kiss and cuddle. Maybe when they're old enough, you can lower your guard. But from 0-6 months, it's your responsibility as a parent to keep them safe. I wish that child speedy recovery. |
being:Lol the joke is on you. With all the beating you've received, how has it helped you. Nigeria remains amongst top 5 most corrupt country in the world. We house one of the deadliest terrorist groups in the world (Boko Haram) You can hardly do any clean business with a Nigerian without him trying to outsmart and cheat you. Dishonesty is enthroned despite our strict upbringing... In terms of morals, a 12 year old girl has been fúcked severally by hypocrites like you. So I ask again, how has all the beating you received helped you or helped this country? Keep deceiving yourself and continue living in delusion. Those countries where beatings are outlawed are way better, more developed, safer and more honest than Nigeria. |
From what I've understood and witness about flogging, most parents flog their children out of frustration and not to discipline them. Take a walk around remote neighborhoods and you'll see first hand wickedness. The way parents there flog their kids, you'll think we're still in the slave era. You don't have to flog a human being in order to make him/her have a good character. Your life is already a mirror for them. If you train them well, they'll be good. If they see hypocrisy in you and your life doesn't reflect what you're telling them to do, they'll live their lives however they want and become wayward. This is the 21st century flogging should be banned. |
cococandy:Lol...I was being sarcastic. If you had waited for her reply you would have seen that we communicate quite often and don't take things literally. |
Proserpina:It's man not men. You can't speak good English and you want me to do introduction for you? 😒 |
cococandy:You failed to get the point I was trying to make. Many of them go into marriage with the mind set of "My money is my money and your money is our money". So many girls in reality, social media and even here on Nairaland use that phrase, and even activate it in their marriages thus making them fully dependant on their husbands. This is why a woman would pay her own child's school fees or do anything in the house and collect the money back from her husband. It happens and it's still happening. What I don't understand about you ladies is that once a male quote your own words to you, like I just did, you'll flare up and activate defensive mode. But whenever your fellow girls use them, you'll defend them and wouldn't condemn them. Talk about double standards. |
Why should he drop anything? In civilized societies, fans go to celebrities with priced items so they can get their autograph on it. But here in Nigeria, people whom you don't know would gather around you and expect you to give them money for hailing you. Sorry bro, if you had asked for his business card, you could have had the opportunity to book a one-on-one appointment with him, and maybe feature in his next hit album and make cool cash for yourself. But you choose to beg. Next time you meet another celebrity, become more creative resist every urge to shout and beg them like touts. Only politicians respond to such greetings cos they stole your money and need to keep bribing you with peanuts so that you'll remain loyal to them not celebrities who are working hard for theirs. |
cococandy:Definitely not in Nigeria. Nigerian girls condition themselves to be fully dependant on their men right from their dating days up until they get married. So if the man dies or they get divorced, most times she finds it very difficult to cope. |
Poisonousman:Did you understand my post very well before posting this? I was talking about engines not car manufacturers. |
slawomir:Try ke. All Lexus cars from 2005 model upwards come with V6 engines and above. If you're looking for cars with minimal fuel consumption, just stay away from Lexus. |
Raalsalghul:Well said... this is the error most guys these days make. You meet a girl, and in less than a month you've spent your 5 months salary on her and call it love. That's stupidity if you ask me. This is why I laugh whenever a girl tells me that her love language is gifts, or money or outings...etc. You can't expect me to meet you today and start burning money to win your affection. I'm not that desperate. Before I spend any reasonable amount of my hard earned money on any girl I meet, regardless of how attractive she is, I must have seen that she'll fully into me and reciprocates the gestures I make. |
Coolis:Dating to the average broke girl is more like a poverty alleviation program. No matter how much you claim to love them, if you're not bring money constantly, they wouldn't even blink an eyelid towards you. |
Stephen2324:Well said... |
This one just killed his career. How can you move to Saudi in your early 20s? He could have moved to Barca or madrid where he can contend for balloon 'd'or, win UCL, a title he has never won before. What exactly does he hope to achieve in Saudi at that young age? |
The thing is most girls these days wouldn't rate you or take you serious if you don't look rich in their eyes. Once you don't have a car or use an expensive iPhone, even if you have a good job, they'll start giving you the cold treatment regardless of how broke they are. I'll advice that you let her be, see that 2,500 as your contribution to humanity. |
blesoh:See why it's not good to over worry yourself. The child should be warming up for secondary school by next year. |
If you want sincere answers, go to any university environment, meet the female students there and sample their opinions. You can go with a camera for recording of course... |
Thekaghan:He wants her coochie! The goal is to make her see him as a wealthy guy then submit her coochie to him. No guy in Nigeria can give a random girl 120m. It's not possible. Not even politicians. |
Edusouls:He can learn handwork like making Pam slippers and shoes, sewing, fixing of hair, plumbing...etc. Handwork plenty. He just choose to become a thief. |
Very true... heaven won't fall. But wait o, if by chance the tribunal removes Tinubu, who would they install. Peter Obi or Atiku? |
I thought the Lagos State government recently adopted yourba as means of communicating to their indigenes, why are they now using English to address them? |
