UyaiIncomparabl:If she plays wife duties by giving me sex, I'll play husband duties by taking care of her. It's that simple. No one would feel cheated. |
I don't reject pepper soup o. Anyone as long as it's properly prepared is ok for me. |
This is an ordinary dog na. Who do they think they're fooling? |
UyaiIncomparabl:You're twisting my own words...if a girl doesn't want sex in a relationship, she shouldn't expect the man to play husband roles. A romantic relationship is what it is, if you're not ready for it, don't manipulate a guy to play his role while you sit back and cross your legs. |
UyaiIncomparabl:The truth is people find it weird seeing someone all by himself. Cos humans are social beings, this means that your level of success in life determines on your ability to maintain strategic relationships with people. UyaiIncomparabl:I don't think there's any special definition for who a friend is. Anyone who you give ample attention to and expect them to at some point reach out to you from time to time, has become a friend cos you definitely enjoy his/her company that's why you keep giving them attention. UyaiIncomparabl:You're mistaking relationship for friendship. You can go to the gym today and meet some people there, exchange numbers and say hi once in a while. You can choose to leave it that way for 10 months, but whenever you run into each other, you still exchange greetings. Are you guys friends...yes! Relationship on the other hand is bringing people closer to yourself. Letting them in, this one comes with pain and depression whenever you're betrayed cos you gave so much and was taken for granted. Friendship isn't like that. There are friends I have whom I haven't spoken to this year, but whenever I'm in their neighbourhood, I'll give them a call and we'll host each other. We keep tabs on each other and update each other on happenings and events. That's friendship. |
Garuba Square. Bakassi. Pita Ejiofor digital library. Beautiful gate. Yahoo junction. |
DodadaKoKigbe:Typical Nigerian, they bring up a topic, when you engage them, they immediately change the subject. |
DodadaKoKigbe:Name one pastor in Nigeria that has ever boasted of having disappearing powers? |
As long as I won't be playing husband roles by shouldering all her financial burdens, it's totally fine by me. |
Lol, the only problem I have with this is explanation is that his gullible followers would believe him and continue worshiping him. Africa truly has a problem and needs help. |
Proserpina:Have a little fate jare...😏 |
UyaiIncomparabl:I can't even take a girl without any single friend (either male or female) seriously. Cos it's almost impossible to believe that a human being on Earth has no one he/she talks to or hangs out with. If you're the only person in your life then you have problem tolerating people, or people encounter huge problems keeping up with you, either way, you're not normal. As for watching people, that one is quite stressful cos you have to spend ample time with them in order to get to know them much better. And if you guys see each other like 2 or 3 times in a month, it would be almost impossible cos she'll mask her real attitude properly making it a Herculean task for you to know who he/she really is. |
Proserpina:He's single and searching, you can send him a DM. Who knows he might become the president of this country tomorrow and you'll automatically become the first lady. 🤐 |
sukkot:The goal isn't to commute that distance forever, but to have the opportunity of saving enough money to upgrade yourself for a better life. |
As long as you're being paid for services you render to an organization, your argument of labouring and toiling day and night wouldn't hold any water. That's why staffs are expected to request for a salary review once they begin to feel that the salary they're being paid doesn't match their contributions to the organization. That said, you resigned from work and still expect to retain the official accommodation, that's very wrong of you. You're leaving them, this means that whoever would be employed to take over your duties would definitely need that room. You should have planned this out before resigning. You should have opened the dry-cleaning center in that room whilst still doing your teaching job, in the evenings you wash and iron clothes for customers, in the mornings you go to school. It would have been better that way. Next time seek counsel before taking any decision, so that you won't live to regret it. |
sukkot:It's Nna not Nne I'm male. 😒 Also I'm not living at ikorodu or any of those areas I mentioned... although I've met people who live there and work on the island that's why I mentioned them. Besides remote jobs aren't as easy to come by like most people think. So our best bet is that our leaders should make life easier for us. I believe it's not too much to ask seeing how they promised us heaven and earth during the elections. |
sukkot:So if you happen to be a leader and you're on a media chat, this would be your reply when such questions are asked? Knowing fully well that all high paying jobs are on the island. No wonder Africa is so backward. You obviously have no grasp of what lagosians are going through. Maybe it's because you've never worked in Nigeria. In case you're not aware, most people you see working on the island are coming from Berger, warewa, ibafo, mowe, ojuore, toll gate, sango, ikorodu... etc Reason being that accommodation in these areas are relatively cheap so they can save enough money for other things. And since transportation to work was fair because government was subsidizing fuel, it was an easy way for them to save more money. I have a cousin who lives in Houston TX and works at Temple TX. He drives over 4 hours to and fro every working day, he told me he prefers living at Huston to Temple. I also knew medical doctors in Enugu back then who lived in Abakaliki and drive to work everyday day because accommodation and lands in Abakaliki arw far cheaper as compared to Enugu, so it would be very easy for them to establish themselves in Abakaliki than Enugu. Didn't your Tinubu promise to make Nigeria better for all Nigerians. If the country is good why should something be wrong with someone who chooses to live in a place where things are cheaper and work on the island? Why must something be wrong with such person... kindly tell me Obadiah777 😒 |
sukkot:There are people who live at that ikorodu and work on the island, earning less than 200k. Now imagine paying 2,200 every working day for one month. That would be about 48k. If the person is married with kids, inflated prices of other commodities in the market would consume the remaining money leaving him to resort to begging just for survival. Please in whatever experience you're trying to give here, never compare Nigeria with America. They earn higher and have a more stable economy. |
GloriousGbola:Lol...you wan see bobby 😁 There was a female boxer who actually did that after defeating her opponent. She was sanctioned and fined heavily. |
UyaiIncomparabl:It's impossible for an adult (either male or female) not to have an friends or acquaintance. You definitely must have people in your life you relate with. |
I wish the super falcons all the best. For the hypocrites attacking Oshola, they should know that athletes (sprinters) gymnastics, swimmers.. etc, dress worse than how she was when she removed her shirt yet no one condemns them. Tobi Amusun literally puts on under pants to run. For those barking that she received a yellow card and might miss a crucial game if we go far in the tournament, they should know that in any FIFA tournament, all yellow cards are cleared after the first round. Meaning that from the Second round that yellow card she received would no longer stand. So please let's support our ladies and wish them the best. |
immortalcrown:You could have just posted only that last paragraph then. Your begining post was unnecessary. I'm glad you admitted to it. |
immortalcrown:Don't be abrasive. That award means a lot to him. He's proud of his wife and daughter, let him be. |
Just monitor her close friends. If possible, be friends with them, and you'll know the kind of person she is. |
The reality here is that the police can't even arrest him cos he's a naval personnel and not a civilian. They can only report him to the Navy who would punish him based on their own code of conduct. |
ahnie:She could have used her phone to make a transfer to the school. If she doesn't have a smart phone, she should have collected the proprietor's phone number, then call her and ask for the school's account number. Once she gets it, she can look for a POS operator anywhere in the market where she sells to make the transfer to the school's account number, then call the proprietor to confirm the cash inflow. She knew the kind of husband she had and still trusted him with that kind of money. That was very careless of her. |
GloriousGbola:My annoyance with this beating of a thing is that it hasn't helped us in anyway. Na we corrupt pass. Na we scam pass. Na we steak pass. Na we fúck pass. Na we kill pass. Na we use colos pass. So what exactly is the essence of the beating? No woman would touch my child. |
AllenSpencer:. laiperi:So if they have all these in them, kindly explain to me why... 1. Nigeria is amongst top 5 most corrupt countries in the world? If the beating these kids received at infant stage was to make them better, why isn't Nigeria getting better. 2. Why are we so dishonest? You cannot do a clean business with a Nigerian without him trying to cheat you. Even ordinary electronics, you must go along with someone who knows it or else you'll be sold fake for the same price as the original. In civilized societies where beating of kids is outlawed, they don't do this. Even without beating they're still honest and would sell you the best. 3. Why do foreigners cutoff from you once they discover that you're a Nigerian, and why have so many foreign apps like PayPal banned Nigerians from accessing them if our beatings was to build and develop us, why do we keep experiencing the exact opposite of what the beatings was supposed to do? 4. Why is wickedness so powerful in Nigeria, if we were brought up with so much strictness, why do people delight pleasure in killing their fellow Nigerian for ritual purposes. We don't read about ritual killings in counties were beatings is outlawed. 5. Why is a great number of our youths embracing dugs? Weren't they beaten, why didn't the beating stop them from becoming drug addicts? Whether you choose to agree with me or not, I'll tell you that beating a child has absolutely zero effect on that child. His or her choices in life would be based on the advice and counselling you give. And most importantly your own lifestyle. Beating only keeps a child in check for a short period of time. Once he/she out grows it, there's absolutely nothing you can do. |
AllenSpencer:Did I hear you right? How are kids abroad worse than kids in Nigeria? Please tell me, I want to learn. |

nne life should not be so hard. It is us humans who complicate life. If you live in Ikorodu and your work is on the island then move to the island, or learn a skill to do remote work from home in Ikorodu. Shikena. It’s 2023 not 1900 . The digital age. Nne mobile phone is not just to be looking at big yanch on instagram everyday oooo
