It is true that NYSC time is a time of freedom and a time of fun, but there are some exaggerations to this... If I am lying, let any Corp member oppose my statement....NYSC is made to look like people get sex littered all over the place, and to make it look like Various married women sleep around there...I can tell you one truth. This is a hyped statement.. You do not get sex anyhow from NYSC ladies, neither is there reckless sex in the camp... All these statements of reckless sex in CAMP or after CAMP is not totally true, as some corpers know I am saying the truth...If I am telling a lie, ask many NYSC guys if they got sex freely from NYSC girls...Many NYSC ladies are not cheap, so do not think you will see free sex anyhow in CAMP or after CAMP....Where I served, we had corper ladies that no corper guy ever touched... Please shun these hyp to prevent being disappointed in NYSC. Go and serve Nigeria well.

I have been married for 4 years plus, never cheated or anything close but sometimes I think about my ex girlfriends wonder how they are doing and even think about what if. I have 3 in particular that always come to my mind occasionally.

you will never understand. U need to be here to understand. U u talk of a northerner and u say fulani and hause. Me writing this is neither of the two. We have a lot of graduates who don't go down south seeking for employment because of fear of discrimination. I am present working.there was recruitment recently in my company. We were asked to tell only people from the north. My wife who doctor currently doing her housemanship in one of the hospital up here was denied several opportunities down there and was ask to pay bribe as the only northerner who had the courage to apply. Here it was open for all so many northerners didn't even get it.

Who needs a car more? Who is doing school run for the kids, going to the market, taking the kids around as well as going to work everyday, etc?

If the mother only needs a car for church and market, who should get a car first? When that car comes, who services it, repairs it, etc. It might even become a burden to you and her except there is plenty money to go round.

Let me give you an example, I worked with a boss, very generous person with a successful company. His mum stays in Lagos too in a highbrow area but no car because he doesn't think it is necessary. When she needs to move around he sends a driver to pick her for her runs at every time; hospital, market, church, etc. But his wife drives her own car because she moves around more.


It is based on need, not a competition.

A good mom understands that her son who is married with kids has a lot of responsibilities he needs to Attend to so thereby she shouldn't be expecting expensive gifts from him

A good mom knows that her daughter in law deserves more attention than her cos she wants her children to be happy...

A good mom knows that it is her husband that is in best position to gift her such and not the son.
I could go on and on if you want me to..,

now my question....will you gift your mom a car when your children takes taxi to school or sometimes trek?

don't you worry soon the north will ask you guys to go. I pity those who think the north cannot stand alone. We are preparing towards that. We've got our oil, we are massively developing our cities. It is your people who come up north to hustle admission into university and jobs into our firms, have u seen a sokoto, kano and other child seeking for admission or job down south? Let's see who loose. But come to schools and institutions in the north and see ur brothers working and building houses and u tell me u are not benefitin from the north? We will soon stop sending our food to you guys down south and u will starve.

The bitter truth is that it is her husband (your father) that is meant to buy all that for her and make her comfortable as his wife. But in our African culture where responsibility of caring for your younger ones, taking care of the bills are shifted to a child, we have come to believe it is the son's duty over his duty to his own wife.

A child; son or daughter should make sure their mother has all she needs to make her life easier. However, as long as a man is married, his first loyalty is to his wife.

We are not talking about girlfriend but about a wife who he has been joined to and they have become one.
