Please i need an advice on the next step i should take in life. I am a guy, 25 years of age and still living with my parents, though i am not jobless but recently my bank account just hit one million and 200 thousand naira.

So my parents are advising to buy a landed property in my home town that will take about 900 to 1 million naira. But the thing is that i am 25 and i feel at my age i should no longer be staying with my parents, so i want to rent a flat and furniture it to my taste, i feel it is time to move on, i need my freedom to finally face life like a man.

So my question is, should i purchase a landed property at 25 and continue living with my parents or pack out and start my Adult life. Note: i am not jobless".

Hello nairalanders, I need your opinions on this matter.

My boyfriend of 3 years who is now my fiancee (we are talking marriage already) is constantly talking to his ex girlfriend (who is now married).

They discuss all manner of things, ranging from how she misses him and wished she had waited for him.

Trouble started when he told her he was planning to settle down (I still wonder why he told her) ever since she's always coming up with pots of lies against me. She claims someone told her so many things about me.

She fabricating lies isn't my major concern because I know once something good is about to happen the devil comes in many ways than one to destroy it.

I've told my man all about my past life and everything in it, recently he accused me of withholding some information of my past. The ex girlfriend had a chat with and told him things I don't even know about.

Nairalanders this lady is married, why is she poke nosing into our affair?? If she loved him that much, why did she marry another man?? Why is my man giving her audience Is he still in love with her I know she's obsessed about me. Her constant chats with him, makes him accuse me of things I've never done in my entire life.

I told him we should suspend the marriage until he's done with his investigation since he doesn't believe me cos he said if he finds out something I did in my past in the future and I didn't tell him it will be a problem.

On topic, some of those items being hawked are not even their personal wares. They collect on trust, sell and return the capital and share the profit with the person who gave them the wares. It is so sad that humans do not find a way of managing their emotions.

It is not funny. It's sad. And truth be told, poverty is one of the reasons that has led them to be hawkers. How much profits do they realize at the end of the day? They should have been wise and moved on instead of wasting their precious goods.

There was a temp agency close to my residence that I sort of frequented but I always got the same response, "We have nothing available." I suspected that the reason they were unwilling to offer me a job was because of the color of my dark skin. One day I paid them a visit and saw the recruiter. As soon as he saw me, the guy bolted to a different spot. I arrived there and inquired of him. One of his colleagues told me he was absent. I knew he was lying because I had seen the guy earlier on, so I left. Upon getting home, I put a call to the agency and lo and behold, the same guy (who had disappeared upon sighting me) picked up the call. I berated him for running away when he spotted me and then hung up. Shouldnt have hung up on him though, but thank God that's history.

Not stupid but the truth. My brother told me that during his NYSC orientation, they were passing out condoms (he called it raincoat) for free, so if that is the case, why cant pads be distributed for free as well? This is gender discrimination. Menstrual cycle is unavoidable (unless you are pregnant) while sex is a choice (for the most part rape excluded). America has taken note of this and these necessities are available in public schools for free. Others should follow suit.
