What info do you have on cold-blooded murders and (serial) murderers? The criminally insane or sociopath who simply killed just for the thrill of it? I remember reading a news story about an amateur "magician" guy, in the guise of a Professor Peller, who had a body cut up and stashed in a suitcase in his house.
Ah ah, look at question!! Africans don't have the DNA to become such socipaths na.www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
naijaking1: Legally your actions may not be justified because others are doing it. However and in reality, accusing someone of what you do everyday is a technique used to deflect attention away from your self. Obj and Tambuwal have no credentials in fighting corruption, they simply hope to confuse and deicive. The real fight against corruption wil suffer because of their technique. These people are no Gani or Aminu Kano or Akanu IbiamWhat you are saying is that, you'll only take corruption charges against GEJ's government seriously if they are levied by people like Gani or Aminu Kano, regardless of the validity of the charges. This, my friend, is unfortunate and may not be unrelated to the fact that you probably consider Goodluck Ebelechukwu Jonathan, Igbo. You sir, are part of Nigeria's problems. DerideGull: I am willing to dismiss every all allegations made by OBJ as simply political gimmicks spurred by the fear of disintegration of Nigeria. OBJ main concern is the purported convention of Sovereign National Conference. A man who converted entire national resources made for Operation Feed the Nation into a personal farm has much to worry if Nigeria should disintegrate. He who comes for equity must come with a clean hand. Moronic OBJ and others have filthy hands dripping in corruptible practices.I'm not surprised that you can easily assign motive to OBJ's actions as if you are his personal assistant. People like you would rather have GEJ screw things up so that the country will be plunged into war and you biafra Al Quaeda warriors can achieve what you could not do otherwise. |
naijaking1: No, not at all. Infact, I ask some of the questions myself. No one is absolving Farouk Lawan from any act of corruption. But nwanne m, its time we stopped joining unrelated issues. For now, lets not worry about how Tambuwal gets up in the morning. The question is, are Tambuwal's accusations false? You should answer that question in your own mind and reflect on it, regardless of Tambuwal's or Farouk Lawan's integrity. We know that your own integrity has not yet been compromised and that you should not be willing to sweep accusations against your President under the carpet, simply because you think the accusers are also corrupt. |
Sovereignty, I submit, belongs to the people under Section 14 (2) of the Constitution and it will be wrong to suggest that the people’s decisions cannot be sought in a referendum except permitted under the Constitution. This suggests that sovereignty belongs to the Constitution and not the people. On whether in the draft bill, it should be stated that decisions of the conference shall be subjected to referendum, some members have suggested that the question of referendum should be left for the conference to decide and thus the law should be silent on it. I find it difficult to align myself with this view because several meanings could be read as to why this aspect was omitted and this will not be helpful to the Conference. Why did Asemota accept to be a member of the commitee knowing fully well that GEJ stated that it will not be a sovereign national conference? Why is he adding to GEJ's problems? Asemota should have simply resigned in protest. I support Asemota's position, but we all know that the position is in conflict with GEJ's and borders on being unconstitutional. |
I'm quite sure GEJ or at least, his handlers understand the political game very well. My question to you is, are you willing to dismiss all allegations made by OBJ and others as simply political gimmicks? |
Has Asari-Dokubo reacted to OBJ's letter, or is he a coward that is loud mouthed only when warning harmless Junaid? At the rate things are shaping up GEJ's handlers will kill him, enemies may not be needed. May God protect the man and open his eyes to see that his next step should be retirement - Oga sir, go and enjoy your billions in peace while the opportunity is stll there. I take God beg you, you be decent man. |

Congratulations Alhaji!! Aregbesola continues to overachieve and he may not be the extremists which he is portrayed to be afterall. The Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the group-managing director of Omatek Computers, Florence Seriki, alongside other dignitaries have expressed interest to participate in the forthcoming NewsDirect Third anniversary lecture/ awards ceremony. fyneguy: why refer us to PT?This issue is too important to politicize, so I urge those of you who understand the issue to shed light on it responsibly. Now, fyneguy has asked taharqa a sensible question and I hope the response is a honest one, devoid of politics. The whole world is watching us. Nigerians should be up in arms and demanding answers to this problem. No one believes that Sanusi made this up. It appears on its face, that there is a major problem somewhere and its location and solution must be uncovered. |
No be una fault o. na GEJ cause all this yawa, dem even snub Nigeria (during Mandela's memorial service) from making presentation at one of the most historical events in a couple of centuries. www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
plaindealer: Really don't feel like so kindly ignore my comment. ThanksI understand your perspective from your post below. Its hard to disagree with the post. plaindealer: With all our sacrifices and support during and after apartheid, we did't get any official recognition and the ones getting it didn't do much or even supported apartheid in SA. |
plaindealer: You still don't get it.Please explain to me, what I still do not get. Thanks |
I think given the role Nigeria played in destroying Apatheid in South Africa, our full support of Madela during his incarceration, and our position in Africa, South Africa should have honored our country by given Nigeria (GEJ) the opportunity to give our tribute to this great African. Like it or not, Nigeria has the greatest population of Black people in the world. South Africa was simply being petty by using the ocasion to spite this country. I hope GEJ and his diplomatic core have one or two ideas about how to punish South Africa in a subtle manner. What nonsense!! |
Its quite easy to clear this up. If I were Okupe, I'd ask AIT to publish or rebroadcast the said interview. Why has the interview remained a secret? For me, given Okupe's job as a hired Spinmiester, I cannot take his words for it. I mean this is the same man, in the sahara interview who denied that Asari-Dokubo threatened violence if GEJ is not reelected in 2015, until he was confronted with the video of Asari's threat. SMH |
ontarian: Bro, no vex o. From my understanding, prof didn't blame any of those guys. He merely acknowledged them as great minds and enjoined them to try to enlighten the north.Great post. I completely agree with you and I may have overreacted. You sir, are a gentleman, abeg no vex. |

A Christian prayer and an Islamic prayer for the OP: O Lord God Almighty, Creator of all things and Giver of knowledge to mankind; An Islamic Prayer: It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (then) He has created from him his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her. When he had sexual relation with her, she became pregnant and she carried it about lightly. Then when it became heavy, they both invoked Allah, their Lord (saying):@Op, Go and rejoice, for the Almighty is with you. To God be all the glory. |

Attempting to hold Ribadu, Sanusi, and El-rufai responsible for a region's alleged "practise of a retrogressive brand of Islam" is silly, foolish, ignorant, racist, bigoted, and smacks of phobia of the "North". You people should start your sermons by first holding Okonjo Iweala, Alao Akala, Aganga, and others responsible for the tithe gulping, and false prophesying type of Christianity we see in the South. Nonsense!! |
In an interview last Saturday, GEJ's effective attack dog, Dr. Okupe stated that Dr. Junaid Mohammed belongs in jail for stating that 'there will be bloodshed' if GEJ contests in 2015. When asked if Asari-Dokubo also belongs in jail for saying that there will be bloodshed if Jonathan is not re-elected, Okupe said that Asari did not make the said statement and he challenged the interviewer to produce evidence that Asari made the statement. Before the interview was over, a clip was played which shows Asari making the threat. Dr.Okupe, seems to be the only one left in Nigeria who did not see Asari's statement which is still in full view on ChannelsTV. I wouldn't be surprised if that story is also taken down soon, just like the interview Okupe gave on AIT (the Mandela thingy) is nowhere to be found. Watch The Okupe Interview here. The program is a 3hr program, and Okupe's statements about Asari and his denial on the Mandela story begins from 1:39 - 1:45. I am disappointed that Okupe, who is paid to be knowledgeable on the current affairs in Nigeria, was shamelessly pretending or lying that Asari did not threaten violence. What a shame! We challenge Okupe to ask AIT to rebroadcast his recent interview in its entirety so that his accusers are proved wrong! |
