size38: Are we sure its GEJ's wife that spoke all those grammar? I seriously doubt. I know she hardly make any correct sentence. But that aside, I expect GEJ and his wife to listen to the words of this distinguished prof. Instead of Abusing him. I totally agree that d wife of d president matches exactly what our respected prof described her "As a mere Domestic Appendage". Pro. Soyinka is well lettered and educated more than GEJ and his wife put together no doubt.Yes we are sure that it was not Patience who wrote those words. The words have Mr. Fixit written all over them. |
Prediction: The former accused will become Senator Al-Mustapha |
If the curvy accomplice didn't get laid by the victim before the victim called the Police, then the victim must be a emotional weaklin and a dummy. No Nigerian man will fall for such a trap. |
Our President was given a very befitting welcoming ceremony and I applaud the Chinese government for it. I do not understand why we must take a $3billion loan when we have over $40 in reserves alone and billions more in various funds. The Chinese will be the primary beneficiaries of this loan because they will be awarded the contracts and projects which will be associated with the loan. The $3billion will ireturn to China and provide employment for Chinese citizens who will be brought to Nigeria at exorbitant salaries. My sister Ngozi, why did you advise GEJ to do this? Why must you make it so easy for the Chinese to fork us again? Have they not done enough as it is? Allah will punish you people soon enough. |
^^^Are you as thick as a plank or what? The heading of the article says "we fought for oyel and not Nigerias unity".....so how the hell did you misconstrue that to mean "we fought to protect the oyel-bearing communities from the 'Igbos', and they are now a wealthy advanced and fulfilled people that control their own destiny, with a pristine environment and beautiful villages"?If i call you a slippery ....... now dem go say i don start be dat!
mechionu gi dia. Intellectual midget ka ibu. next excel: hope my igbo brothers are seeing what is going on in this forum?the yoruba people now creat accunt with igbo name!what a show of shame, inferiority complex, sabotuar, backstabers, why do they behave like sanke,i mean devil is batter than average of u people.Ibu onye JJC ? |
Even 50 years later, people are still in denial of the fact that Ojukwu's eyes were on the oil in the region with the goal of lording over all the minority groups in biafra. Brilliant idea if it had worked. All other tales about what Ojukwu and his peeps were fighting for is just that - tales by the moonlight. Indeed, ultimately, the war was about the oil. |
This reminds me of the Mexican customary Siesta where soldiers took a break for afternoon sleep and lost the Alamo to the American troops. That was the beginning of the total loss of Texas to America. Till today Texas still be American property. ![]() |

GenBuhari: It is not about zero demand for Nigerian oil, it is about low oil prices meaning that Nigeria would be unable to feed itself. US troops are already positioned on our doorstep ready to occupy Nigeria or to evacuate it citizens or protect their business interests.Frankly, I do not think that a crash in oil prices would mean that Nigeria would be unable to feed herself. I do agree with you that US troops are ready to take whatever security measures they deem necessary to protect their interests. If Nigeria is unable to feed itself where would it get the funds to fight another civil war against any region that decides to break away? Those funds and other weaponry will come from the US, China, Middle East e.t.c. The crisis could be averted if there is a military coup by an anti-corruption and patriotic military General who could take the necessary actions needed to rescue the economy and avoid breakdown of law and order.I agree. With all indications that the civilian government is incapable of checkmating corruption, and with our useless youths who are incapable of Egyptian type revolution, I'm afraid that we may very well see a military coup before its all said and done. |
In a way, the effect of this zero demand for Nigeria's oil by the USA, is over exaggerated by the OP and others. The Chinese are more than ready to replace the US as the primary importer of Nigeria's oil. If people are planning to breakup Nigeria anytime soon, they should be prepared to fight against the great Nigerian Armed forces and sophisticated Chinese weapons of war. |
We now know that our dear Mandela is in a vegetative state, according to court papers and even his doctors are advising his family to let him go. I reiterate my appeal to the selfish people who continue to keep this great man drugged up and in pain, to allow him to return home peacefully. |
Good luck to OJB and God speed in his recovery. Now, whose money did Amaechi donate? I hope the money is from his personal account, otherwise he owes the tax payers and the citizens of his state an explanation. |
edoyad: My sweet Kd. If only positive kaduna would be seperated from Negative kadunaWould you kindly suggest how this separation can be accomplished? It may be easier to find a way to live together in peace than to put in place this separation you are suggesting. |
GEJ needs to hurriedly obtain Senate rubber stamp approval of his appointees (Chiefs of staff). A few million naira here and there would do the trick ![]() Ilejirika's confirmation is however dead on arrival because he has become a liability to GEJ's administration due to the general feeling that he is Igbonizing the Army and destroying Muslims at every opportunity he has. Wrong or right, that is the perception up here in Abuja. Ilejirika's tenure is essentially over. |
“Frankly we don’t need energy from Africa,” he said pointing to developments in natural gas, clean energy and oil shale at home. Source:Vanguard If this does not serve as a wake up call for the lazy fools in government and equally lazy fools, whose only claim to fame is that majority of our onshore oil is found in their region, I don't know what will. Excellent news!! |
I'm actually surprised that many of you are outraged at okija's revelation. I am more surprised that you are shocked. What Okija revealed is the order of the day and routinely happens. Your outrage is belated. If you people truly understand the harm being done to you, your children and grand kids, you'd be in front of Aso rock protesting. |
When are you people going to get tired of celebrating project beginnings and learn to celebrate successful completion of projects? For all we know, this project could end up being another boondoggle designed to fleece you as usual. SMH |
akpomeme: Why speak from both sides of your mouth. You can only make sense with one tongue. We are all part of the problem, but complacency cannot solve our problems. Writing about it is good enough as contributing something towards solving our problems.Bros, you can write for another 100 years and nothing will change until your writing and complaints are followed up with tangible actions. |
toluxa1: It was directly to the Boko Haramites not all Muslims. I will say it again all Boko Haram are Hypocrites. I come from a family with nearly equal christian to Muslim separation, though it is clear yoruba Muslims are much more sensible than northern Muslims. Southerners are more liberal.Again, how many so-called Boko Haramites do you know or have interacted with, to reach your conclusion. How are you sure the condoms were not planted by mischief makers who count on gullible people like your to perpetrate this apparent propaganda? I'm sorry to say that you may be in denial that you exhibit some traits of bigots. |
mikeansy: dont mind Alhaji Ndu_chukslol, my post shows how easy it is for incompetent journalists to confuse people (abi na me 4k up the interpretation). I'm surprised that no one has opened a new thread to call Aregbe a traitor. ![]() I fully expect the judge to issue an injunction which would temporarily stop Jang and give GEJ and his cohorts time to get the 'right' judge to make the 'right' ruling. O ye Nigeria's Sergeant Does, where art thou!!! |
How can you people use this Condom info to reach the conclusion that over 1 billion Muslims generally hypocrites? You all need to be fair to yourselves - don't allow bigotry to consume you. |
Until I see the by-laws of the NGF, I wouldn't assume that Fashola win win this case.
When he wanted to inaugurate the forum’s secretariat in Abuja, he sent invitation cards to governors and only 16 governors, including himself (Aregbesola), honoured the invitation. If you truly won an election and you feel you are being denied your mandate, you go to court. You don’t resort to self-help.
Wetin Aregbesola find go this purportedly illegal inauguration again? Maybe he had his hidden camera again for gathering evidence wey Fashola dem go use for court. Jokers!! ![]() |
FSU: How are they different from Imams who misuse the words of the Koran to teach unwary folks how to be terrorists?Nwanne m, False prophets/imams abound and they all belong in jail. |
GEJ will soon put his foot in his mouth at the rate he is going. |
It is quite a shame that many purported Christians in Nigeria, have turned their Pastors and celebrity Evangelists into gods in blatant violation of the very first commandment of the 10 i.e. "Thou Shalt Have No Other gods before me". Many of these so-called Christians are perpetual victims who live on "Hope in the future". In the meantime, their celebrity Pastors and Evangelists, prefer to live in opulence now now i.e. today today, while they feed the foolish flock the "hope" potion and collect their money every week or even more frequently. The good news is that, you unfortunate Christians have direct access to God and you are worth just as much in the sight of God, as the said pastors. Build your own relationships with God with zero consideration for these pastors. mumus |
One would have thought by now, secessionists would have been sober. SMH |
I take exception to you people poking fun at the President of the Great Federal Republic of Nijeriya in such a humiliating manner. With tongue in cheek, as my people say, Egbe Ndi Abriaba Pifuka Gi Isi, and that applies to all of una. www.nairaland.com/attachments/229503_ROFLMAODog_gif3fa44b12f55ba64fc785c3a5794ba92e |
Did Amaechi violate any PDP rule/law which carries the penalty of suspension? If Amaechi did, case closed. Amaechi should learn a lesson from the suspension, regroup and improve upon his political game plan. If he did not see the suspension and ultimate expulsion coming, then he is still a political novice. |
jackbauersballs: The Guardian has confirmed that BOTH suspects are NIGERIANThe idiotic british journalists are trying to divert the focus away from their own country. These criminals are British period!!! They comitted the crime in their country of citizenship. Leave Nigeria the hell out of this crap. Those boys probably have never even eaten "rain insects", ngwongwo, or tuwo in their entire lives. Nigerians ko, Cameroonians ni. Nonsense!! |
