If your total bank balance isn't upto atleast four times the price of whatever you are purchasing, you are financially ignorant. Don't do anything to impress anyone. Chase money and money only and other things will be added unto you....

History is filled with enormous numbers of forgotten beings that wasted their years on earth, achieving nothing and preparing for an imaginary world that doesn't exist. Religion is really the worst thing that happened to humanity.

Business / Re: Torn And Worn Out N100 In Circulation, A Deliberate Act By The Banks? Photo by Neurotika: 9:45am On Mar 09, 2018
maasoap:

Good question there. I learned that for every box of dirty, worn out and torn money sent to the CBN by the banks, there is certain amount of fee to be paid to CBN by commercial banks that sent it. And as you know with capitalists, everyone would naturally want to run away from extra costs. It is always about more profits. They are declaring increased profits every year, yet they kept sacking more and more workers.

CBN wants these dirty currencies sorted before receiving them from banks. Banks incur fees for not sorting them when returning them to CBN. The process of sorting these dirty and mutilated cash is manual and Labour intensive. And banks aren't ready to employ more staffs for an unproductive activity. So they prefer putting the dirty cash back into circulation.

I really think this contemporary world haven't been fair to men. Once you're born a man, be prepared for a life of serious responsibilities. You don't think of yourself, everyone related to you becomes your headache. Wife, sis, mum....

We toil so hard just to take care of our own. Face different physical and emotional hazards when hustling to take care of our families. Yet the society waters it all down by the statement 'are you not a man?'.

I'm not a male chauvinist. I just believe Men are gods of this earth. We provide, protect and sacrifice. Big ups to all real men out there. You are the reason some women still have hope of a better tomorrow.

If all public officials can take a Standard IQ test and sign corruption death warrant before getting elected, we won't be where we are today.

Minimum IQ limit for public officials in the Federal and state Government shouldn't be less than 120. Anything below is automatic disqualification.

Death warrant will also be signed in cases where any is indicted of any act of corruption. Minimum amount should be 5m naira cumulative.

Honestly if these controls are in place, they will be begging people to contest for political post. Those that will eventually contest will be seen as heroes.

I have a firm that I know that is into ICT at Admiralty lekki, most of the software developers thee don't even have a degree ,most or highest are OND, Bros these small boys are earning what those starch shirt wearing bank regional managers are earning

In overseas, when government sees that a person is Good on his field they would use him..beside that how many certificate Buhari, Dino Meleye , tinubu and many of them habe

Bros University is good but don't let it limit you

You are missing the point. No one ever said anything about University limiting anyone. The point is why will you hide your achievements?. Especially if it's a rare feat. The most rational thing people do is to rank them. Skills and experience first before stating academic achievements concisely.

Of what reason will any of those highly skilled software developers you mentioned hide their reputable certificates (Microsoft, Oracle etc) that they got way back when seeking for a new job. If they don't have it, it's fine. Their skills and experience should suffice. But if they do, why hide it?

Have you worked in any of the big four? Most of them mandate you to have ICAN/ACCA certification as you are on the job. If you fail any course more than twice, they fire you. No matter how skilled and experienced you are on the job, the policy is sacrosanct. So tell me, if I got ICAN Ten years ago and have 6 years experience as an accountant, I shouldn't state the ICAN certification cos it's too way back? I don't understand. Or are University degrees not certificates too?

I don't think I totally agree with this. Even politicians that have graduated before I was born sometimes flaunts their academic achievements when vying for a political post. Of course you will put your job experience and skills first, but you still have to state your academic achievements.

Besides when you are in a job function that doesn't align with your career interest, it's ok to indicate to employers you were a maestro in what you studied in which your interest lie.

When you have it you flaunt it. It's as simple as that. I cannot burn night candles to be the best in my class and keep mum about it cos its 10 years back.

Romance / Re: Apart From Religion, Why Do You Hate Gay Folks??? by Neurotika: 5:59pm On Mar 02, 2018
It's OK to hate gays as far as that hatred doesn't extend into denying them the right to be who they are. The criminalization of homosexuality in this country reflects how debased we are.

Two hefty guys are busting themselves few blocks away and I suddenly start having headache with what they are doing with their organs. You scared they will turn the society into Armageddon. What does that even mean?

A guy/lady like you approaches you and you get disgusted to the point of wanting to harm him/her instead of simply turning them down. Who is more sick in both of you? The gay or the potential murderer?. Conservatives are dumb honestly. And mentally lazy too. They just won't think. They throw around relative and ambiguous concepts of morality, religion like there is a universally accepted template.

A crime should basically be any act that robs another party of his fundamental human rights. This Government is the one committing a crime here. So because something disgusts the majority, the minority should burn. How did we evolve into this profound stupidity?

i don't know really well, because the way he handles me in the act, i don't think a learner will handle a woman like that.

His hormones are hyper cos of the few nuts he has busted. As the numbers grow and he gets diverse, your touch won't make much difference. So map him, enjoy it while it last and make sure he doesn't understand what balance diet is. Once he does, what you complain of now might later be a wish.

Family / Re: Why Nigerian Men Hardly Forgive A Cheating Woman by Neurotika: 7:51am On Mar 01, 2018
Most of these saucy guys berating a nigur for forgiving her b.itch will do same when sh.it gets real. Most men are weak. The real alphas are few and those are the ones that have a low emotional battery. Makes it easy to dump any ass that can't stop screwing pencils.

Mine depends. I don't go around looking for wives so most understands boundaries. My demand for you staying faithful is just cos of pride nothing else. Emotional cheating mostly precedes physical cheating for women and that's why it hurts some men. But in my world, when you screw, you only make me aware of how open the game play is. So I simply switch to other available bi.tches and keep you for sports. The exception will be when there are other things I find you relevant in which is indispensable. Asides that, there is no such thing as forgiveness for a deliberate act.

Doesn't matter if christains follow the 10 commandments as it was written by moses. As far as christain teachings go, going against any of the 10 commandments means one is committing a sin whether e ought we are using the new or old testament as reference.

My point was that I will take a morally conscious person that his psyche is based on Super ego anyday than some dude that says he's doing good because it is in the book of Titus or something.

Both the ID and Super Ego are at the mercies of what was acquired as morals since child hood. Freud never said morality can be attained in isolation. In fact he proved environment to be a major determinant factor. Moral teachings is like a snow ball, it is passed down from generations and forms people's Ids and super egos. It creeps into our laws, defines some parts of our legal system. Forms our cognitive bias and sense of judgment. The religious folks even accuse their parallels of indoctrination. Same disease they are also suffering from. Sometimes you also hear things like 'even if I found out there is no God I will still be happy I did what is right'. Yet it is God's commandments that defined a large percentage of what you think is right to you in the first place. If you knew he didn't exist you would have followed a different manual. It's a deep incongruity very few admits.

Prisons are punitive elements used in ensuring punishment of moral breakdown. They are not a source of morality. It doesn't interpret to you the rightness or wrongness of an action.

Just to add to this discussion on morality and it's source, let me remind those who continue to point to religion and their invisible gods as the source for morality that such argument remains a failed argument.
For good example, we are not surprised at all that latest prison statistics show that 92% of prison inmates in Nigeria are adherents of the 2 major Middle East religions.
Adherents of African traditional religions make up only 2% of the prison population, while atheists make up only 1% of the prison population in Nigeria.

So, the facts are there.
Religion is definitely not the source of morality.

I guess what you wanted to say is religion 'should' not be a source of morality. But if you stand by your point then there are two flaws in it. One, if religion isn't a source of Morality, there should be more atheists than theists.

Two, atheists are expected to make up approximately 1% of any large gathering in a religious country like ours cos they also make up a very small percentage (if not 1%) of this country's population.

that I have reasoning does not mean I have developed any sense of morality.

If I was born and lived in isolation. I would not have a sense of morality. even animals raised in isolation only think of self-survival

I fail to see your point. I never argued that morality can be gotten in isolation. I argued reasoning.

The game in camp nou will likely end 2 1 in favour of barcelona. Barcelona scores first, scores second. Chelsea then scores. Game ends. Chelsea have the aggression, hunger and all but Barcelona will bore them to frustration. Chelsea will want to attack at some point, open up necessary spaces at the back and that's where their net will house goals. It's a game of tactics. Barca is superior in that aspect.

Career / Re: Before You Quit That Job!!! by Neurotika: 1:33pm On Feb 20, 2018
Autonomy, complexity and a connection between effort and reward are three most important factors a work must have for it to be satisfying. However, desperation is a biitch. Pushes you to a point you think you just can't withstand the toxicity. Then anything that comes, you jump ship. Reality dawns, you then start giving others advice. Got one pal a well paying job, she couldn't withstand the pressure, resigned. Now living at the mercies of friends' benevolence. I don't roll like that. When shiit gets real, I activate the beast mode. Money and emotions don't mix. As far as the job pays the bills, it makes no sense leaving out of emotional reasons.
