Meanwhile u may not share same surname with ur Uncle if that ur Uncle is your maternal brother(Mother's brother) or if he's ur Father's half brother( born from same Mum diff.father) all u have to do is to prove it with all d dox. that u feel it will prove beyond reasonable doubt that he's truly ur Uncle. Take ur time and plan ur travel.

I suggest ur Mum to be ur principal sponsor and ur grandpa to be ur additional sponsor. U've got to give lot of reasons to why ur grandpa will be sponsoring ur education as a Main sponsor. If I am in d position of the V.O I may wonder why your grand pop is sponsoring ur education in Canada when ur mum is not his only offspring. but if she is,it makes the story different.
U can give dox. of the farm land,picture of Papa's farm and machinery. Papa's other assets both fixed and current.
dox relating ur maternal grand pop to ur Mum issue: 1.Draw a family tree  2. Ur Mum's marriage cert.(some marriage cert. show bride's maiden name) 3. Sworn affidavit from ur Mum and Grand pop stating this fact respectively.

u can go send e-mail to CDHC first that you need some of ur dox. they will reply 2 u to come,then u will print of the response sent to u and take it to CDHC,Lagos. They will give u a form to fill listing d dox. u needed and u will sign for collecting d dox. I am sure it will work that way.

Embassy do look look out for both history and balance. The history indicates the account is alive and transaction is operated on it often,while the balance must be sufficient to cover ur tuition and other living expenses for @ least 1year and after d deduction of all these expenses it must remain reasonable balance. Putting urself in position of visa officer,it's unreasonable to spend all d current balance in ur acct.
Tax clearance is need to calculate your sponsor's income and his responsibility as a good citizen. If he doesn't have it,I suggest he explain. In my case,I cannot get Tax clearance 4rm IRS,I only got VAT Tax.ID.Number from FRIS and @ interview,I explained to the Visa Officer that Nigerian taxation systm is bad&unreliable. This is a known fact to embassies/Visa officers. It's better not to produce it than producing fake one.

No. The embassy only confirms only the Balance as at the time you submitted ur application. They will never ask the recent balance and if they do,the Bank will never give it to them. The account owner/signatory/ies is/are the only person(s) that can ask for d balance of the account anytime.

if u live within lagos and environ,you may print out the softcopy andsubmit it @ CDHC,Lagos. If u are far 4rm Lag. ask CDHC if u cld send the softcopy. I am sure they will agree,then u can send d softcopy via e-mail.

CDHC is aware of ur start date,it will request for it,if its needed. @worst,u will only need a softcopy of the defferment letter via e-mail and download it to get hardcopy and send it to CDHC.

U may probably need additional sponsor. Ur agent may be right. Judge urself if u r d visa officer. will ur Mum exhaust 3.5Million out of 4million she has in her acct? But one thing is if she has evidence of other fixed asset and residual income,you are good to go with d 4million in her acct and evidence of other income without need for any co-sponsor.

non family member sponsor u if it's a kind of scholarship,Grant or loan. i.e Government scholarship or grant,church and other organizations but u need to prove why ur are getting the scholarship. U also need to state what the scholarship covers. CDHC have list of req. dox if u r being sponsored by govt.church etc. check that on its website.

it is better to get the share reg. with CSCS that will make it accessible for verification if not. copies of share certificate may even be a stumbling stone it may not be easily accessible for verification or it may take fortune of years to verify. it's just a piece of advice.don't shoot urself at the leg.

does that ur Uncle share same surname with ur Mum b4 ur Mum got married? If yes,then u can use any dox. that bears ur Mum's name b4 she got married and back it up with a sworn affidavit that ur mother's surname(maiden name) was that ur Uncle's surname b4 ur Mum got married. If ur Mum has birth certificate then her maiden name should be also be on it. If ur Mum didn't share same surnamewith ur Uncle even b4 she marries,u can get a sworn affidavit from ur mum,declaring her maiden name and her new surname after marriage. Meanwhile,ur sponsor(Uncle) should also state this in her own sworn affidavit of sponsorship.

Yes, ur step dad can sponsor you. You can get a letter from him stating how you are related to him and a letter from your Mum explaining why ur surname is not related with ur sponsor(step dad)'s. Meanwhile,if you have family photos in which u took with ur step dad and other member of d family,u can include it in ur application with a kind of ID from ur step dad i.e Driver licence,Intl passport,Id Card or National Id to proof his identity with the family photo. grab it? And any other dox. u think may be supportive. Good luck.

some schls do not allow u to pay before getting to Canada,unless the embassy request and some schl request u make part payment while some schls are open to either of the ways. If ur schl allows u to pay b4 ur arrival there is no prob if u pay. It somehow add to ur evidence that u have adequate fund to study in Canada.

applying for undergrad is not open to secondary schl leavers alone,remember. ND,HND etc may get u admission into uni. The poster does not specify that he's apply with secondary school leaver's cert. Even if he is applying with secondary schl cert,if he/she has can give account of what he has been doing since he/she left secondary school especially if he has genuine dox to prove it and if it is an interesting exercise. Maybe studying non formally or into a kinda biz/enterprises or skills acquisition. He/she is good to go I bet it. Knowledge and education has no boundary and age limit. Man must live to learn from cradle to grave.Irrespective of educational gap or not. U can dust ur books and get back to learn anytime especially if u r a man. Nothing can stop  u,unless u stop urself. That's why we need documented proof for anything that occupies our time when we her outta study environ. #GBAM#

If u get d admission fast(as in if the schl decide on ur application within a short time), u shld be able to apply for sept. intake;but no one can predict when CDHC will reply to ur visa application in d recent time. U can apply for ur visa 6mths before ur resumption date but not lesser than 3mnths.
