Turkish airlines, Ethiopian airlines, Egypt Air, Royal air maroc, Kenya airways, Rwandair; I avoided Turkey cos I felt it is Europe and had to pay more. Please, what if any of these Arilines transit through any of the countries requiring a schengen visa?

My application just got refused just this morning, and my friend was approved, we submitted the same day. Funny part, I even have more funds in my account compared to my friend o lol, I even borrowed him money lol, this ircc people just dey make me laugh n enjoy cold beer this afternoon. 1. What question do they usually ask at Heathrow POE?

Why are you here?
What do you do?
Where are you staying?
What will you be doing during your time here? How do you plan on getting to x (e.g. if you indicated visiting multiple places)?
How long will you be staying?
Do you have a return ticket? If yes, show me?

Do note that it differs but in my experience, these are the usual suspects.

2. I applied for visiting with hotel reservation but I'm staying in a friend place do I still need to book a hotel?

No. I've heard of rare cases where this was a problem but most of the time, it isn't an issue. If you are antsy about it, you could book a one night hostel and then move. A lot of cheap ones (<£15) in London.

3. My going 8s genuine to return back in 3 weeks time what do I expect on arrival?

Complete the health questionnaire on the NCDC travel portal.

4. Do i need COVID 19 jam certificate as wakanow has been bombing with related messages.

No. Not sure why wakanow has refused to update their messaging.

1. How will someone put in a convincing cover letter in regards to the previous refusal and now the new change.

2. I should just ignore, apply like that again with a enough funds now, ad never mention it either in application or cover letter

You can add documents you think will help your application anytime through the webform before the application is processed.

No. Completely withdraw and resubmit a new application to avoid any risk (no matter how low) of refusal.

A couple pages ago, a user was refused even after sending a mail minutes after submitting the application.

Furthermore, see this section of the webform autoresponse which should guide your next action;

For temporary resident applications, we do not accept documents sent by email if you have applied online. The email and the document sent will not be added to your application for consideration when assessing your application:

Unsolicited document submission: all relevant documents must have been submitted at the time of your application.
Requested document submission (online): please submit the requested document via your MyGCKey account by following the instructions noted in the request letter

Hello Nairaland so I applied for a tourist visa for France which was unfortunately denied last week. Was looking to travel with my family, (two sons and wife), which are currently all UK citizens. Had a prior Schengen Visa to France about five years ago, have a previous UK visa, plus a current one as well. Account balance was over 5 million, plus also added my USD savings account info which is close to $20k. The reason for refusal was “ Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided”. I included all necessary documents needed, as Ive been following this forum for quite awhile to know what was necessary before applying. I had also stated in my application that I’ll be spending a couple of days in Spain at a resort, but France would be the POE and where I’ll be spending the longest. I could have appealed but felt like it’ll would be quicker and easier to reapply. My question is should I reapply via France with the same documents but add updated bank statements and my renewed residential and business lease, and also give a better explanation of my itinerary, which I felt like I did initially but, didn’t give a day to day breakdown of my trip, or altogether just try another Schengen country to apply like Spain? I have businesses in Nigeria which I included proof in my application, kind of stumped as to why my application was actually denied, especially with UK travel history and a previous Schengen visa.

if u choose to go for AR, the only card left to play is to kinda beg....sheffield AR teams are a bit kind..

.. tell them u were totally nervous during the interview and u were not composed at all to sell urself well.....and u hoped that the ECO could have been a bit kind to notice and perhaps, give u some room to gain composure...... that u are not askimg for much but a chance to show u deserve to have this degree as it would greatly help ur career and positioning in the labour market

... its a long shot though.....

I’ve seen worse cases online and the AR was successful , Moreover I came across the mail an hour to the interview then I called My agent but wasn’t picking up that moment to know If I should just rescheduled the interview to some other time with reasons that am not prepared unfortunately I accepted to take the interview that I wasn’t prepared for at all because I was unable to take to my agent on the phone ..Was never expecting any interview from home office or calls till it happened … This AR is really on my mind ..

I’m very worried about something, don’t know if anyone has been in such fix before.

So I applied for Uk visa on 12th and applied for Italy visa on 14th. I paid for keep my passport with UK in order to be able to submit for Italy visa processing.

1. I didn’t know that I will have to resubmit my passport when Uk wants ti make a decision, I thought they’ll just courier the vignette to me to stick on by myself.

Fine, I found that out on processing day and thought okay I’ll just resubmit when Italy own comes back.

But now I have found out that Italy processing particularly takes forever and apparently if you don’t resubmit your passport within a specific time frame for UK decision making, they will deny you. 😭

2, It is only France we intend to visit. Is there a difference between France Schengen Visa and France tourist Visa?
