It is us that are single O! Hope this is not a ploy by some serial killer to track us down, and killus all. |
Which kain yeye pains?! Is NIPOST stopping you from using your email?! Or has NIPOST blocked BBM services. ABEG! ABEG!! ABEG!!! |
This year, I would like to see every artiste do their own best tracks individually. Most of these collaborations are no longer mixtures of "creativities", but mere "let's combine our fanbase". I'm seeing Banky W, he's already done 4 songs for his soon-to-be-released "R&BW" album all by himslef, and they're great. I'd like to see more artistes do that. |
Not bad, personally, I'm planning on acquiring some landed property this year, and I sure will look their direction. |
How much do they intend to pay me? ![]() |
As promised last year, I'll be posting casting calls for productions which are poised to keep changing the industry, till we get to where we need to be: Confident, good-looking actors are invited to the audition of a soap opera coming to a TV in your house soon. ADDRESS: Springboard Studios, 23, Acme House, Acme Road, Ogba, Lagos. (opposite Peak Milk). DATE: Saturday 19th January, 2013. TIME: 9 am (By now, you should know to bring along a 5 by 7 photograph (not edited, or Photoshopped). Like I've always said, the Nigerian Movie Industry will rise from the ashes, only when that contraption known as Nollywood has completely burnt itself down. Oya, join in and play your own role. In the past couple of months, I've posted several movie audition notices, and casting calls, and two recurring request from a lot of the producers have been "fresh faces" and "some formal training". In the years to come, it will become very difficult for actors who have not attended any of the rising movie academies in Nigeria, to get decent roles in Nigerian movies. The usual "He's my brother", "she's my sister" which has led to typecasting of virtually every actor in Nigeria, will gradually give way. Meanwhile, for further details on the auditions happening tomorrow (Saturday), please contact: Bashir - 08027017222 Eko - 08108177616 Bora - 07038641036 Best of luck

Well, Seun hit me up on Yahoo Messenger, and told me he'd just created this forum and it was going to be the biggest thing ever, and suggested I joined, so I did. It's been fun all through, and he didn't lie those several years back when he told me Nairaland would be Nigeria's number one site. |
I hope your x2 doesn't mean 2 years rent O! Because. This is Lagos. |
AND GOD SAVED TIMI DAKOLO...EVEN THOUGH HE WANTED TO JOIN THEM IN PLOTTING AGAINST NORTHERN MUSLIMS. |
I don't see the need for tribalizing the issue. Tonto Dikeh and Cossy Orjiakor are blots on womanhood, and indeed humanity as a whole. |
What is this world turning to? Someone who is married with a child, whether male or female, should not be dressed like this for the whole world to see. What's the intention? |
@Lynx200 Great job ma'am. I do tweet some of your posts to people down my Twitter timeline, and they really appreciate. Thanks. |
Well, personally, I'd say they both did equally good in it. |
Rochas is nothing but a propagandist, and a Nollywood actor. Everythiing he's claiming to do in Imo state is all film trick. Since his days of pasting posters as a Presidential candidate, I've known the type he was. |
Not all Facebook "friends" are your real friends. For God sake, the kid apologized! |
@365NaijaNews If I were you, I'd work on my spelling and grammar before continuing as a blogger, and teacher. The fact that I could hardly draw out any coherence from your post above, it means your pastime is copy-and-paste. I wish you the best of what you can do for yourself. Besides, a blog is not a news site, it's more of at timeless diary. |
Please, let's remember that this is still the enter tainment section of Nairaland. Let's keep our gists and gossips around the Nigerian movie and music industries. There's no cause for insults at all. |
This event strictly featured only those real artists, who are taking Nigerian music to the next level. I only hope Tiwa Savage will not fall off the train, because Don Jazzy has recently begun to douse any for of message in husic with his loud, complex instrumentals. |
I see nothing wronmg with combinng a jacket, jeans, and sneakers. |
Is Ben bruce going to quit his job as the Chairman of the Silverbird Group? I don't see how you appoint a staff in your competition as your board member just because you're a government organization. Would anyone congratulate Pepsi for appoint the chairman of Cocacola as one of their board members? Ben Bruce is only looking to loot funds for starting up Silverbird South Africa. |
PDP wants this their man gone. That's why after the Presidency announced his death through BEAF's Twitter handle, when they later found out he was alive, the had to rush him to their special unnamed hospital in Germany for mental incapacitation. No wonder Yar'Adua ran away from that hospital. Anyway, let's see how it'll all play out. All the main characters in this tragedy will soon show up on stage for the curtain call. |
Nigerians know what good movies are, it's just that they are trying to make do with what is being served up their plate. Someone like Kunle Afolayan who has invested so much human, material, and technical effort into 'The Figurine', would never hand his movie to Africa Magic in return for peanuts, so Africa Magic encourages Nollywood to churn out such works as 'Beauty And The Beast'. I promote nigerian movies on Social Media, and some of them are so poorly made, that I just have to reject their brief. For the Nigerian entertainment industry to work, I personally have suggested the intervention of the Standards Organization of Nigeria or the Nigerian Institute of Standards. Nollywood itself, (which was created by a video cassette seller who only went into movie production to dislodge warehouse of stock) has to be totally scrapped, and the Nigerian Movie Industry has to be built from the ground, up. |
So, no change in price abi? THe person who even wanted to buy it through me has already given up. Happy New Year. |
Dangote has made and still makes the larger chunk of his billions of dollars from Lagos state. He needs Fashola more than any other Nigerian right now. So if Fashola wants to have tea with Dangote in his home 2 times a week, Dangote will arrange it. Don't let what you see on TV fool you. |
E dey mad! Shey na less privilege no sabi enter Private Jet?! Discriminating hypocrite! So he knows that there is tricycle and grinding machine, and he didn't ask his congregation for that. |
Actually, the most bizarre drink ever is none other than Pússy. It's actually the best power drink I've had, but THE NAME! And it gets quite funny to have a conversation, even when buying it, "can I have some Pússy please?". I was crazy when some friends and I were having a business meeting with the distributors of this drink. It was all Pússy, Pússy, Pússy. Couldn't this dummy just take the car home to his wife and present it to her?! Couldn't he call her? He had to tweet an image and even cut and paste her passport photograph to convince the whole world, but the truth is that it's all borrow-pose. It is the same thing that got Jim Iyke into trouble. I hope you all remember the picture below, and the court case that followed. Celebrities are now stretching showbiz into scam with the extreme lies they tell.

Nigeria too should send soldiers to USA to help them tackle the issue of those crazed gunmen obsessed with shooting up educational institutions all over their own country. Or is that not Boko Haram too?! |
Dear Nairalanders, I greet ye all. As I stated before you chose me as an admin in this section, I will never ban members arbitrarily in this section. We have to remember though, that Nairaland is the most complete compendium, or contemmporary encyclopedia of everything Nigerian. In posting information or news on Nairaland, members should post full stories, and include links, where necessary, either for further reference, or as proof that such stories, or news pieces were not conjured up by the poster. The primary purpose of Nairaland is not to drive traffic to your own blog, or website. Henceforth, I believe posters who open new threads which basically contain only a few words, and links leading readers to blogs and websites should be banned for a substantial duration. I'm not decreeing this, I'm suggesting it to both Nairalanders, admins, and Seun too. What say ye? |
Hello all, if you prefer another link, try http://www.xciteafrica.com/co-host Personally, I think Month just wants some company, and more colour on the show, and perhaps less work on her schedule in order to focus on building her own DSTV Channel, Xcite Africa, launching in 2013. I dunno "how much", and I don't think that will be discussed online, or before application. |
Worris going on in this place O! |
