timidapsin:That's how the beef started... somebody was making noise about how West Coast recording companies were rejecting East Coast artists (Tim Dog diss on LA rappers in 1991), then naturally some (Snoop, Eazy-E, Ice Cube) dissed back about how the West Coast was the best coast... then Bad Boy artists replied, then Death Row. Tupac was shot in a robbery, and suspected Biggie's camp. There was also Suge Knight's infamous dissing of Puffy at an awards show (in New York no less), Snoop's video knocking off buildings in NYC, and things escalated. It should not escape Davido and Wizkid that 2Pac and Biggie ran their mouths when they should have helped calm things down; 2pac and Biggie were both killed by fans of the other side (as far as I know, though some doubt this conclusion). Our own artists should therefore take steps to douse flames of fanboiz carrying matter for head lest they find themselves victims of circumstance. |
10-20 years, it could be sold again for $600m. The real winners in this are the auction houses, auctioning the same thing over and over from different sellers and making money on the commission. Is it not the same auction house that will sell it in a few years? |
olatade:I wonder which number my own is for my girl's list? 8, 10 or 11, abi na 2? Heh ![]() |
WhiteSoup:You mean they should dress, not in our own official uniforms, but in European official uniforms (i.e. suits)? Hm? ![]() |
Come, Yemi... I can help you with that... Where's the dress? Ehen, where's the backside? ![]() |
condralbedez:That's the one that made me laugh... as if he will ever come back to Naija! |
Well... at least they are now respectfully married, as opposed to being his girlfriends... If one is not able to |
OK, so we've replaced criminals without uniform, with criminals with uniform ![]() |
Everybody wants to be their own boss in Naija... instead of growing with one company that covers a lot of expenses and benefit from economies of scale, now you too will have to pay for your own office, furniture, PR, secretary, lawyer, studio, reducing the ability of both companies to retain capital. Also bosses are to blame because they tend to take too much profit without distributing more equitably. Anyways, good luck sha. |
... and your distant relatives will also be waiting for you... I hear they went to the same school with Evans. Just make sure you carry police escort on your visit ![]() Dat your cousin sewing cloth, is also looking forward to recouping his investment ten-fold. dabeto:Yes oh! He can have his distant cousins take picture and video and send him. He should also ask for 2 kg of sand so that he can spread it in his compound in USA and stand on it. That's all the homecoming he needs. Coming here to find what? |
sarrki:You talk as if PMB wasn't part of the onslaught of incompetency in charge of Nigeria in various ways since 1966. He's been part of most coups, accused of ignoring orders of his superiors, his own president, and eventually usurping civilian authority. It was people like him that contributed to make Nigeria what it is today. Don't talk as if Buhari was a saint outsider. |
Hm... the way people are roasting reptiles on Nairaland... don't be surprised if there's one "snake-flu" or "monitor virus" coming up. Una leave chicken and goat... |
soberdrunk:Isn't that the national anthem of our ladies? ![]() But on a more serious note... where did she say the man must drop money for this song? |
Nice one |
I know it's possible (in reference to OP's comment), but asking for quintuplets is just not something I will ever do. Cute babies though... ![]() |
Kylekent59:It's not cowardly to back down when you know the opponent is far better equipped in the current fight. Even lions and goats size up the opponent and decide if the prize is worth it... Not every fight is worth the headache... some are, and fight if you feel so... If Bobrisky has the time, resources (lawyer, police and court fees), connections, etc. then by all means, he can continue to fight. It's not praiseworthy to write cheques with one's mouth that one cannot cash, that's just silly. |
I was wondering how this Toyin lady could get police to arrest somebody, instead of going to court to settle the issue; then I saw this on Wikipedia: "Toyin Lawani was born ... to her father, Yisah Lawani a former commissioner of Police and her mother, Princess Atinuke Babalola, a serial entrepreneur (also royalty). Toyin’s grandfather was Pa Elijah Are Babalola, who was the first Minister of Works in the Western Region and her grandmother was Chief Justice E.A. Babalola and also the Adele Oba of Ikole Ekiti." Bobrisky should really research who he's trying to abuse first before opening mouth. I'm not saying it's fair that she obviously used her connections and family ties, but that's the nation we live in. If I see all those bolded parts in somebody's pedigree, I will just quietly comot hand for matter. Even if he can call for lawyer and fight for justice... hrm... no be Naija we day? |
correctguy101:I was thinking that too, but where can you fit them? Not on the same bed oh, unless you wan make bed break ![]() |
Papa must have suffered to feed these three. No be beans oh. Diapers, milk, doctor visits, clothes, school fees. Dem try ![]() |
You know, normally I would agree that the President is insensitive. OK, we lost 26 people in the Mediterranean. How many did we lose the same day to road accidents, poverty, gas explosions, police, herdsmen, terrorists, armed robbers, kidnappers, cultists, hypertension, aids and malaria? Why should these 26 get all the press? |
Thank God no loss of life, which is why we can smile at this idiot driver... ordinary insect? |
philantropiest:He is a a legend pursuing other things, including music production and taking good care of his marriage. Let the young ones come and take over, no wahala. |
Madam, they've already paid their tax... it's in the oil revenues that the government refuses to share with the masses. |
I just wish once I'd hear about sports players making money and investing wisely for their older years, instead of living luxuriously and wasting their earnings. |
@OP just open a savings account in your regular bank. Move your money into that on a regular basis. Done. Some banks have standing orders that can transfer automatically for you, and you get interest on it. A lot of times the funds are not linked to your current account ATM, so no chance of somebody getting it. You can also start a savings in another bank and never use that ATM. No app can help you save what you don't already have, plus its risky to put your money in an institution you can't visit, in my opinion. |
Apina:She didn't used to... now she does, and it's a symptom that may be caused by any of the things mentioned by PDPGuy: "UTI (Urinary tract infection), diabetes, sleep apnea or an over-active bladder." Could also be from childbearing or even anxiety. OP, the best thing is for her to see a urologist, as in somebody that is trained in these matters. |
Reminds me of that song... "She's fresh so fresh. Exciting! She's so exciting to me yeah!!!" ![]() Imagine laps caressing somebody... oh oh ![]() As somebody said: "da ting goes skrraaa pap pap kak kak kak skib bi skip pap pap and a pup pup krrrut boom skiaat dut dut kut kut dun dun pum pum" |
Good ideas... I just hope the thieves won't get violent when they discover you're trying to trick them, or if you use pepper spray. |
OK... Halloween costume... dressed like LL Cool J circa 1989 |
EmekaBlue:I don't even understand again... I thought Yahoo was like small change, like $10k or even $50k. But which kind yahoo are people doing in order to afford $1M? |
It's not my money, but... you know how many people you fit employ with $1M for your hometown? Choi |
Nice... until you realize we're stilll in 140 something... so there are 144 countries better than us. We're like that bottom part of palm wine in an old cup left over from last night's party... |

They are just making unnecessary noise about...

All her songs are about how a man must prove his love by opening his wallet.
