Commendable. But the real koko is for us to raise our own cows. |
Church church church. You know, the West developed modern medicine, sewers, electricity, airplanes, and many other things when they stopped pouring all their resources into churches... around 1500s, they started rethinking and experiencing their Renaissance. You know what Renaissance means? Rebirth; as in the old ways of superstition, imaginary celestial beings, the power of the church were seriously questioned, and humans started being rational again. If we spent 1/4 of the seeds, tithes, offerings, etc. on productive pursuits - industry, education, healthcare, we can leapfrog into the league of developed countries within 25 years. |
So you deposited on the last business day of the year, when banks close early, and staff goes away, with everybody more interested in their weekend plans than in rounding up the day's business. When did they start back again? Yesterday? Chill out... |
The guy. Lead by example, and you'll see them coming over to help you. No big deal in it. |
Nice to see this is still ongoing. OP, thanks for the links but please fix them so the URL matches the text, so we know whether we're going to your blog or to the foundation's site. https://application.tonyelumelufoundation.org |
Who thinks up this nonsense? I mean, I've never woken up in my life and said "you know what, let me see what this guy will look like dressed as a gal". So I'm puzzled how somebody would, 1. have the mind, 2. take the time ![]() Why did I even open this thread sef? ![]() #dontbringinto2018 |
WTF? So now the church encourages spouses to hide their income from one another, ignore the welfare of the family in exchange for some "seeds"? My wife would have a very serious case to answer if she did this... ah ah.. this is time for school fees and belt tightening, and she wants to help the pastor pay his own school fees abi? Isn't the husband the head of household? Why is he not consulted? Is the church usurping the husband's authority in the household, in spite of God's confirmation of such authority? Not cool at all. |
agbangam:So why was PMB busy shouting (and possibly echoing the private thoughts of Northern elites) that an attack on BH was an attack on the North, or that "A declaration of a State of Emergency would be anti-North", when it was GEJ in power? Now he's had two and a half years at the helm, you can't keep blaming the previous administration for current incompetency, be serious. He wasn't voted in to be excused... he was voted in to execute. |
If there's one thing our government is competent at, it's being incompetent. Seriously... didn't they say the guy was injured and incapacitated? Is the guy even in Naija sef? |
I just wish people would just ignore the guy (girl?) ? No tweet, clapback or whatever. Just silence ![]() Seeking attention anyhow person. |
Well... last Christmas, she was the main chick... does she know how many side chicks have been trying to enter bae's house when she was in there? ![]() Happy 2018. |
The girl set oh... shoes, toes, laps... hopefully face and bobby is also matching ![]() Good way to relax |
AndroBlaze:Yes, that's the logical thing to do, yes. But once police hold you, forget story. You can say "there's no mark on my car", "he can't be dead already if we hit him just now", and other logical statements. At best, they will hold her for a few days till she posts 100k bail (or more). Of course they know she's innocent, but as she has no witnesses... |
Simple. 1. Give existing industrialist cheap loans and give them free reign to invest in power, health, industries. 2. Dash them all our government infrastructure, in exchange for 10% stock in each company. 3. Appoint no ministers. The permanent secretaries are experts in their field. |

Ah... she lived long... that's what we're all praying for. My condolences sir... I just bow for Anambra sha... such confidence, such drive |
Good one OP, but this one had me in stitches... "especially while you're trying to build that presentation for your investors." Guy, I have nothing better to do that to be on social media. This list is for people who have work... ![]() |
So? It doesn't mean anything either way... she said her part, you've said your part. Unless you drag her into court, why involve police? This is Naija... who knows you might have paid police so that they would detain her until she pays "bail" or worse... You want to clear your name, take her to court, and if she refuses to show, then the judge will find her in contempt, and summon her. |
sekxy:It's one thing not to respect broke guys (which is vain in my opinion but let's leave that aside). But it's another thing to disrespect the man you are planning to marry (about no be fiancée e talk?) pride always goes before a fall and people should not taunt the people they claim to love because of money or physical things that come and go |
Cletus77:How can we forgive somebody that continually raises cost of living, scapegoats who he doesn't like, while his government lies and speaks to us with disregard? |
Simi... where did those curves suddenly appear from in that first pic? |
Continue arguing over which one is more beautiful. Some of us will just continue enjoying the different soups Naija has to offer ![]() |
wiloy2k8:Yes, you can tell her to leave... but the last thing I want in my already busy schedule is making time for lawyer, police, and judge to defend myself. ![]() If she no wan do, no wahala. |
true2home:Late to this party, but generally all you'll need to change is the bulb, though technically the switch may be rated for 110 (and could cause an arc at 220v), but the wiring is actually ok since it would have 1/2 the current going through |
Lovely!!!! I've been missing from the scene for a while while I recuperate from the massive headache that was 2016 (yes oh... it has taken me one whole year to recover financially, now I can continue from next year). How is baby? And Madam nko? All must be well, we are grateful to God. Let me just say I'm going to copy your kitchen... you have great taste and I've been looking for a good example for a classy arrangement for a small kitchen, also without wasting tiles. Please where did you get your counter top and bowl? I'll have more questions later. And that gate is nice and simple... not these over-designed and opaque gates we see nowadays. Please post pictures of the sliding track. I fear to do the same for ours because we have a lot of building to do over the years on that land, and I fear all those trucks and granite loads will damage it. |
HeyCorleone:I'm glad you finished with "no means no", because it doesn't matter if she's in your room, unclad, or even if you've both started... if she says stop... stop. For the guys: no girl is worth going to jail for or having your reputation ruined. You can satisfy yourself with 2k in any city in Nigeria if konji is worrying you. |
Good for him. We need more girls to report this nonsense so guys will stop taking it for granted that they can rape a girl and get away with it. ![]() |
caringsce you have three options: 1. Withdraw dollars from your Dom account, then march over to the embassy and pay (do they accept USD cash?) 2. FX transfer using their online "FX Transfer to other banks" or "FX transfer to any GTBank A/C" 3. Suck it up and pay at the exchange rate posted by the embassy. Option 2 seems the most viable, and I've been able to use this for other transactions (not to the embassy though). You need a token. |
wildernessVoice:Yes! Yes! These are very viable combinations. |
XBLadez:To be fair, it's the only way to get Buhari out... you have to divide the Northern vote. Sad but true in today's political environment... If you don't field someone from North, you will simply have most of the North vote for Buhari, with a divided South vote. I'm for anybody from North who has shown leadership qualities, preferably 50s or younger, who's educationally qualified, and able to deliver. |
I believe we should be balanced in our abuse and praise. I didn't say things are perfect - they are barely manageable, and PMB and co have made it worse. But I don't think we can only look at what our leaders are not doing and ignore all the things they are doing right. It is not this same Nigeria that he's running from that my mates are making money in farming, trading, startups, spare parts, education and healthcare? We have a long way to go, but we are better off than we were 10, 20 years ago. I can tell you for sure. You think airports, airplanes, cell phone towers run themselves? You think any country would accept him without the (I'm assuming subsidized) education he was given? How about the currency or diplomacy that makes his journey even possible? Instead of him spending all that money to run away into a lifetime of working, consumption and taxation, leaving him with barely anything to call his own after 20 years (not the car, not the mortgaged house - try not paying the bank to find out who really owns it). Instead he could have used it to start something meaningful and really help change the country. I also took issue with his "You all are living in complete misery. You lack basic social amenities,...", essentially divorcing himself from the rest of us Nigerians. I get frustrated by Nigeria daily, but I also get very energized and hopeful. I wish him the best of luck! Just don't visit in 10 years and complain that his mates are bosses doing great things, while he can barely get away from his job for more than 2 weeks, wishing he hadn't wasted his most productive years in another man's land. marvelife: Holamscoh: |
