Where in the north would you see a house of 50k? Do you know the level of insecurity in the north? All the report if technically defeated terrorist or whatever they call are all nit true, ask those in the north. Why do you think we have more northern people in the south?
Even those in the capital city of maiduguri would be surprised there's this much going on in the north. I mean if the north was sooooo bad why wasn't there any news of violence and killings during this extra-chaotic election? Pls say only what you know. If an investigation were to be carried out it will shock you to discover that there are more Easterners living in the north than otherwise. I've lived in both regions so I know

Indispline policemen.

In the Military, we hold our veterans with highest esteem and respect, dead or alive with all due respect professionally.

God bless the Nigerian Military
I was just about to say thesame. In the military a retired personnel can damage your life if he desires to. He can set you up for a charge if he feels disrespected by you. They get just as much respect while retired as they do while in service

You are humans. I was also previously not concerned about anyone's tribe until recently. The experience we have had dealing with your people has left us with regrets. From establishing corruption in the land by selling drugs to the locals, by cunningly acquiring properties from the locals, by establishing baby factories and selling fake goods. There are more but I will stop here.
Wow.i didn't know that igbo people can pollute a place that much. So All the baby factories, fake goods, drug businesses and whatnot are owned by igbo people only. Ah, even the corruption in the whole of osun state are perpetuated by the igbos only. Your politicians must be igbos in disguise. Infact The yorubas in Osun state must be pure without stain then. Wow...I'm amaaaaazed

All I can say is, May God save us from tribalists and bigots

This is great! You've been learning by yourself. The main extra about certificate programs is that they go beyond just the technical side of analytics.

Do the excel youtube videos come with real-word data problems for you to analyse and visualise? Do you have a profile where you document the datasets or projects you've worked on?
The videos come with exercise files such as automobie
inventories, employee records, sales records and such. I just had an idea to do something on arsenals Premier league data in the last 10 years. I'm still strategizing on that though.
About a profile, if you mean a LinkedIn or github profile, no I don't. But I would love your input in that regard.
I want to be able to work on more complex problems as time goes on. Gain maximum proffeciency in Ms Excel before transitioning to sql.
ProgrammingRe: Data Science/analysis Roadmap by Nikes(m): 9:51pm On Mar 09, 2023
So about a month ago, I finally decided to take that step into the world of data analytics. I had just rounded up my B.Tech program, which, infact, was the reason I hadn't gone into that field sooner. The only challenge I've been facing is electricity wahala. I would have gone far by now.

A a beginner, I learnt that it is essential that one gains an expert knowledge of Ms Excel. A lot of jobs require excel as a requisite knowledge. Lots of analyst roles are totally based on excel èspecially in Nigeria.
So yeah, I've been learning s Excel for some time. I'm done with the basics. Kind of in the advanced stage right now. It's been engaging and fun getting to discover how a thing so commonly overlooked by the average computer user can solve such complex analytical problems. I would have gone farther than this if I had constant electricity, but sha...how man go do.
For study materials, I use YouTube videos for now. I downloaded excel beginner, advanced and expert videos from learnit YouTube channel. I downloaded a 13 hour long beginners to expert video by Kyle pew. He's by far the best tutor I've encountered so far. His videos are detailed and very comprehensible. I also downloaded from Learnit and got a couple of excel pdfs from different sites. I intend to go into them after I'm done with the videos. One of them goes deep into complex analytical methods. The bonus there is, they all come with exercise files.

Someone sent me a link to download IBM data analytics 18 hour length video but I intend to finish with the excel course first.

After excel, I intend to pick up SQL. After SQL, I'll go into the IBM data analytics video. As for visualization I intend to go through the course first before picking up Power BI.
I pray to be consistent and never give up. By God's grace in five months I would be gooder than good. See y'all at the top

Before the end of this week, I hope to complete my Google Data Analytics Certificate program and then write a summary of the program. I will detail my experience, pros and cons of the program, tips and other general information.
Can't wait to know about your experience. I've been eyeing the certification for sometime now but for the electricity condition in my area

If they didn't do you think they'll invite them to come and perform?
Last Last was nominated for a Grammy, Rema went to Number 1 on billboards and Tems just won a Grammy. If the Americans didn't understand, how did they manage those achievements?
No, they do not understand the lyrics yet they enjoy and love it because music is by itself, a universal language. It doesn't need to be understood to be loved. Sean Paul hit big in America yet they didn't understand his Jamaican patois. Brenda was an international hit maker yet no one understood her language. Music is meant to be felt and language has no power over it

I'm in imo state right now and I'd say for a fact, the support Obi gets from here isn't upto that which he gets from Plateau state. Almost every car, taxi, keke, etc., Carry the LP party sticker. Lalong has long been a sell out and the plateau people only just had their eyes opened for them by his misdeèds. You should see that man's village; can't boast of a borehole. All he does is say "yes massa" and whip.

I used to be very bad at pleasantries. Like I literally take a break to process it before giving an answer. Worse is when they use Hausa or my native language (I'm mhiship from Plateau state). Most times I ended up saying incoherent words since no one ever waits 5 seconds for you to answer their greetings. It's not that bad now tho.
Sorry about what you're going through @ op

True. I and 2 others visited a local eatery at my village chip last year cos I was carrying out a project there. A plate of jollof rice and beans was 150. Plus the goat meat served, 250. And I'm talking about a sizeable portion of meat. I was shocked when the woman told me the price.

BusinessRe: What Does It Cost To Drill A Borehole in Nigeria These Days? by Nikes(m): 6:22am On Jun 11, 2022
kelvin1191:
First you need a geophysical survey. It will determine the depth of the aquifer. It cost 20k for manual and about 50k for digital survey in my location (Makurdi, Benue State)

Drilling (Indian rigs)
Punching and casing is 10k-11k per meter here since disel rose to 700 per liter. It used to be 7k per meter December last year.

Another to consider is " manual, electric or solar"
The dept and the well flow rate will determine the size of pump to install.

Your best bet will be a manual pump as 400k won't be enough for electric
Please what do you mean by manual survey and digital geophysical survey. 'Cause if by manual, you mean Rod dousing, then I'm at loss for words for that 20k. Plus there's nothing scientific about that method.

There's been some serious increase in drilling price since the beginning of this year and one wouldn't blame the geologists or drillers. The government is to blame for this shit. Now, people are scared to drill boreholes so they have resorted to Wells instead.

No where wey buhari no touch

PetsRe: Photos Of The Python I Saved On Sit At Home Day by Nikes(m): 9:31pm On Apr 11, 2022
BKayy:
Not everybody kill and eat python.
Since the OP said "sit at home" then it means that it was most probably in Igboland and more than 80% of Ndigbo don't kill or eat python.
Besides the title of thread clearly said "saved"

This is one of the things wrong with this forum and as well as Nigerians in general. If Nigerians ever considered Ndigbo as part of their country or this forum know anything about Igbo people, any time stories with pics of cooked python grace front page, they must include "GRAPHICS" as a way of warning Igbo people that might visit it.

But as Usual, Nigerians keep proving that they know absolutely NOTHING about Ndigbo
You'll just open the mouth waaaaaa as if you want to make sense. Why do I have to know about other tribes' culture and tradition? Fine, you, What do you know about other people's tribal customs and traditions? What do you know about the yorubas? About the itshekiris, Shuwa, Ngas, Nupe, hausa? What do you know about the tribes in Benue? About those in Adamawa, Taraba, Cross River, Plateau and Delta state? What? The sun doesn't rise and set on anybody's ass. Don't expect anybody to know or love your tribe. What should matter is what your tribe, it's customs, traditions and values mean to you

If you know the capabilities of the Nigerian police (yes) in tracking down criminals, you'll wonder why these people or any of the various other "bandits" groups haven't been caught yet in a sting operation.
True. The Nigerian Police has a high level intelligence service capable of infiltrating and disecting any armed sect, but we all know tha politics is the bane.
