A friend of mine who has always wanted to study nursing came across the link to ABU Zaria online nursing program application and has been contemplating whether to apply or go to a regular university. Pls I would like honest opinions about the nature of the program, fees and if it's worth it. Not only from Abu students but from those into online programs as well. |

I have absolutely zero knowledge of programming. Total zero. But then, I see some interesting things like cloud engineering, data science, cyber security. Question is, can I take a course in any of these even though I have no prior knowledge of languages like python, c++, etc? |
[quote author=triple996 post=100568073] ![]() naso kanu is truly a man of his words , Biafra or death. the problem is that only death is available right now. ![]() biafra version of sambisa loading[/quote And who do you think this is going to affect the most? Boko haram once sang "abolish western education or death", while attacking military outposts. Today, they've turned on innocent civilians, their brothers and sisters. It's like you want same to happen to the once peaceful imo abi. If you have an ideology that'll not put the innocent in harm's way, I'll advice you to pursue it. But anything that involves innocent blood, biko it's not worth it. If these people continue in this manner, they'll definitely start seeking for the blood of the innocent one day |

You think getting physical as a way to get back at someone who has wronged you is a show of strength? Nahhh...real strength doesn't lie in the muscle, neither is it determined by how loud you get when wronged. I'm naturally quiet, prefer to stay away from trouble and drama in general; infact, you could step on my sjoes intentionally without saying sorry and I'll let you go. I think true strength comes from the mind. One important thing about a strong mind is its ability to discern between fights to take up and those to ignore. Pouring water on my shirt doesn't take shit out of me, so I'll ignore. There's where you touch me that I'll take more than a week planning on your case and when it happens, you'll have no idea what hit you, and by whom. It's that simple |
Couldn't go an hour without data as of last year. Even used to spend 8k on data alone. Omo this year, even mtn pity their loyal customer giam whatsapp freebasics. Shit keeps getting hard by the minute |
Someone said it seems foreign...Lol It's actually grown in Jos, very common and cheap too. Funny enough, I see them all the time but never had a taste |

kingvomlotus12:Ok, it was a one time deliberate act. I caught cold and catarrh the next day which was what made my voice sound exactly how I wanted. It was a dumb move sha but I still did the voice over anyhow. I coulda just used my morning or night voice if not for the cracks. And yea, girl like the slow and calm voice with a tinge of the british accent |
kingvomlotus12: ![]() Omo I no dey send o. I dey raise voice even for night when I'm doing voice over. It's crazy and fun seriously. I once did one where I had to expose my body to the cold of the night to achieve a deeper villain kinda voice the next day. |
God bless plateau state. Mhiship boy from Jibam right here ![]() |
I'm an introvert I detest loud parties I prefer playing with my pet than going out with friends I love my peace of mind Give me food, water and books and lock me up for a year, I wouldn't care one bit I could let you have your way than have you bring unnecessary drama around me I could take a longer path so as to avoid greeting people I detest having visitors I hate to break promises I switch personalities, that my colleagues have no idea I'm an introvert. I observe and analyze people a lot and pick out even the most minute detail about them. My first 10mins with people determines if I wanna roll with them or not. Not being the type who likes to be out there, I taught myself how to dance(hiphop dance) right in my house I use different accents to speak base on my audience, situation and mood(Hausa, igbo, yoruba, Tiv, plateau, American, British, Italian and Russian accents). It kinda made me a bit interesting to people I taught myself voice acting(still learning sha) Now, what were you saying about introverts being Bleep ups again? |
Afamsi:I used to be very loyal to a lot of my homies but as soon as those mofos started looking down on me, taking that loyalty for foolishness, I detached in a minute. Can't be an introvert and have people trying to make me feel any less of myself |
Cakhama:God, everything here is just a perfect description of me. |
omaclarry:OP, if you really need advice, this is it right here. Go extra miles even |
Laughing real hard wallahi ![]() |
personally, I abhor the average African American lifestyle, but this thread made me realize that a Nigerian could indeed, be a model figure for 'Uncle Tom'. How are people so blind not to realize that riding on the back of Africans for centuries is what got the so called whites this far? Some even go as far as undermining the contributions of the black man towards societal development, crediting just about everything to the white man. omo see dillusion. Who invented bla bla bla and shit. Over the years, African Americans made their own contributions even in the fields of science and technology for societal advancement, most of which laid the base plate for the advanced inventions as we have them today. But you know what? their names are never known. why? because they're Black. Oh yes...Black. You think a society that tells you not to use same pubs, buses and toilet as white people would put you on even when you deserve it? Nah.. they'll do what they know how to do best; sweep your name right under the carpet and take the credit for whatever it is you did. America's first orbit in space didn't happen by magic. It took contributions from hundred of people, among which more than several were black. Go watch hidden figures so you know what I'm talking about. Personally, I hate the victim mentally they play today. The real action to take when you realize that you're being derided for being black is to get up off your ass and do something about it. Go to school, and if school ain't for you, start off a business, put your race on. But guess what? f**king hoodrats will call you a sell out, an uncle Tom and etc. Maybe yeah, being black comes with a lot of struggles like Not getting a job, being targeted by the police, etc. but sitting on your ass because these thing don't work out for you isn't a way to live either. It's about time they realized in order to have same rights as the white man, they must associate with the white man's world. Get into his head, see things in his own perspectives, understand the logic behind his actions, etc. Fredrick Douglas couldn't have done what he did by surrounding himself with just black people. Harriet Tubman couldn't have freed hundreds of slaves successfully without the help of few white men in high places Jay Z wouldn't be where he is today if he had played the victim card and decided to deal only with black people. African Americans may be having it rough, but accepting the reality and fighting back by attacking the oppressor with the oppressor's tactics is there only way out. A policeman may be scared of harassing a black lawyer whose only weapon is the law made by the whiteman, but wouldn't hesitate to gun down a black kid holding a gun who attempts to fight the unjust system by way of violence. |
Mine was a day after John Rawlings, the former president of Ghana died. I was down with sever fever that evening and dreamt I had staged a coup in several African countries. I even had the late former president and Babangida as companions in that dream. Shit was so real, I woke up totally confused and kept asking my sis what happened and why was everywhere so calm and peaceful like nothing happened. |
Wait o...after the gun duel, then they recovered a locally made toy gun?...naija my country ![]() |

I bought a galaxy A10 back in June 2019 and it was my first Samsung device ever. Served me well until 2 weeks ago when the screen suddenly began to ghost and flicker. Touch is responsive but I get this white lines all over the screen and the display flickers like hell. First thought it was a software ish but after performing a factory reset, the problem persisted. What I wanna know is the cost of full LCD screen. Also, I'll like to know if there are fakes to beware of out there so I don't make a careless mistake. Can anybody help out? |

but of course my men dared not laugh, I am sure they gave me a nickname
