What is O.S pls no vex...commissioned officers are fresh graduates? thanks for the answer.
O.S means Ordinary Seaman. They're freshly recruited ratings. They only take a few months training in order to become full fledged naval personnel
The commissioned officers are those who either underwent 4 years civilian education/ military training at the Nigerian Defence Academy or already had their university degree and applied for Short service into the Navy.

Also, you must understand that the Nigerian Navy isn't some ceremonial paramilitary organisation as is grossly misunderstood by many Nigerians. They are 100% military, just like the Army and Airforce

I used to be a 'close-mouth' type of introvert. Always quiet and a lil shy. But then, my mind was always active; constantly exploring its dynamism. By and by, I got into an all boys secondary school where I learned to gain confidence in a lot of ways. Back then at school, no one even knew I was an introvert. I became loud, outspoken and to some extent, a bully(just for fun). I also participated in social functions including performing in other schools where were invited. But in each day that passes by, one would never fail to sight me at some quiet place soaking my self all in some book or just sitting and doing nothing at all.
Back then at home, I was a totally different person. Always indoors putting my creative mindset to work. Matter of fact, I was close door neighbours with the Reverend of my church but he could go 2 weeks without seeing me. A lot of people in my block didn't know me. Some thought I had longed travel. They even started calling me 'Amarya' in hausa which means 'New bride' since the hausa 'Amaryas' hardly ever step out in the early months of their marriage.
Then I got into the university. Things were different. At first I was always by myself, then I started mingling and boom! A lot of my mates got to know me before I even knew them. Them girls think I play too much( if you know what I mean), some would always want me around cause I'm a dose of fun. When ever i step in the class, i say hi to everyone, commend someone's dress, love another's perfume etc.
But after all of this, at the end of the day, I withdraw back to my world. The real world. The world I love. The world of quiet. In this world, My only companion is my headphone and my thoughts. In this world, I permit myself to be selfish. I hardly have visitors, always indoors minding my business. My best friend who doesn't know the 'other me' thinks I'm being wicked for not letting him Accomodate with me.
I discovered that being an introvert allows dynamism and flexibility. If you still haven't recognized the dynamism and strength of an introvert's mind, you might just be wasting your most greatest resources.

Let me tell u a little about myself

I gained confidence when I discovered I could actually speak in different accents- hausa, yoruba, igbo, American, English, Spanish, and other African accents. People easily get fascinated by this. Back in secondary school, they always wanted to hear a Nigerian speak like a pure American breed. I'M AN INTROVERT

I gained confidence when I was approached by a dancer to help out in a competition. I was natural and never danced on a public stage but he noticed me nevertheless...and what i served them blew their minds away. I'M AN INTROVERT

I gained confidence when people commended me for being able to make amateur architectural designs without having a single knowledge of Tech. Drawing. I'M AN INTROVERT

A lot of people still think I'm an arrogant snub who think he's better because he talks sleek. I'M AN INTROVERT

Being an introvert is the best thing that ever happened to me.

But...uhhhm...why do we fantasize so daaamn much angry grin grin grin

Entertainment / Re: Fulani Herdsman Leaves His Cows To Dance In Rivers State (Photos) by Nikes(m): 9:35pm On Sep 08, 2019
Maybe Nigerians should have a rethink about this. Haven't the fulanis been living in this country since ever before? Why the sudden burst of violence? Are they fulanis? same fulanis we've been living with all these years or foreigners invading our land and serving the political dictates of selfish politicians? We should think about it all
Personally, I've been around fulanis a lot of times, even as a kid. We used to visit their RUGA where they give us Fura, nono, kinda, dambu, eggs etc. As a kid, I was their favourite. Everybody wanted me in their home. Growing up, I still was their favourite kid in my area and whenever they show up to sell stuff, I sometimes get things without paying for them. I still remember Husseina, Hassana, Babile, Maigogo, Sa'a, Abbu, Lucky, the 100 yrs plus twins, Gadhafi, Addo etc. To this day, those born after I had left know about a boy called 'Sha'am' ( their own version of the name Sam grin, My name). I had fulani friends back then who were very amusing to be with. Always talking about their grazing adventures.

They lived peacefully but even then, I noticed they used to avoid and to some extent, drive away some other sets of fulanis which I later discovered were foreigners from Niger and Chad. They used to say those other fulanis are very bad and troublesome and don't hesitate to kill over disputes.

All I'm saying is, It's bad to just conclude every fulani man out there is evil. There's more to the troubles we have in this country than what meets the eye. Fulani herdsmen who love to live in little but extra neat compounds with woods arranged at the middle with tiny huts full of China wares, radio and bamboo wouldn't wake up one day to start clamouring for furnished apartments in every state in the country. Its 90% politically motivated..let's know that

Some of you talk like someone just woke up in this 21st century and decided to start burying people like that. Youve forgotten their forefathers set all of these modalities for them to follow. You've forgotten what makes us Africans; what makes us distinct from the west where most of our practices today were BORROWED from. Personally, I'm glad some of our cultural practices that were considered dubious were abolished, I mean, I wouldn't wanna kill my twins or anybody's, I wouldn't wanna die simply because I'm a servant of the royal family and the dead king would need companions in the after life, I wouldn't want a whole lot of stuff but criticising every single cultural practice that does not align with western modalities is same as wiping every trace of your roots. In years to come, people will start criticising the customary practice of the payment of bride price, traditional marriages, etc. We are Africans. If the west do not understand us, let us try to Understand ourselves.

So, I noticed a lot of people complain about sudden excessive battery drainage and little or too much overheating. Well, based on my experience with the galaxy A10, I think the problem might not be coming from the devices after all. The Network provider you run with is one of the biggest cause of battery drain and overheating. I use both mtn and glo simcards. Whenever I'm in school, I get up to 9hrs SOT on 4g without overheating. This I thought, was because I installed greenify on my device but Coming back home for the weekends, I got a little over 5hrs S0T with very serious overheating. I was shocked when I finally noticed this and simply bought an Airtel sim for whenever I visit home for the weekends since my area does have airtel network and a 4glte coverage. Few weeks ago to date, I haven't experienced excessive battery drain and overheating anymore.

Mr.man try and understand what a covert operation means first, then maybe, just may be I could engage u in an argument from there.
From your no.1 to no.4 point of view, it doesn't suggest to me that u know what covert operation is.
Ok first of all, I stated it clearly that I stand on a neutral ground and pointed out the faults on both sides. You talk about covert operation, and yeah, I know what it is. But then, I'm wondering...what kind of covert operation is this? You go on a covert operation without an authentic exit strategy? I mean, it's not even as hard as concealing the whole operation itself, it's simply laying out your tracks for a smooth operation without being detected. When mapping out an exit strategy for any operation, every risk and factor must be involved. Checkpoints whether military or paramilitary must be put into consideration where necessary. In the case of an anticipated encounter with the military at checkpoints, you send a signal to the command, informing them of an intelligence operation going on in areas under their command. They in turn, will send signals to Brigadiers and Unit CO's respectively. This will keep them in the light incase you turn up while on duty with arms or in whatever condition.

Now, tell me sir, if you are a soldier at a check point in North-Eastern state carrying out your duty and suddenly sight a vehicle, flag it down but it doesn't stop and yeah, you have absolutely no idea who it is in the vehicle, you pursue and it still doesn't stop, pls tell me what your Conclusion will be. And then, tell me your next line of action.

NB: I'm not taking sides, only making analysis here.
Crime / Re: Taraba killings: Army Captain Arrested as policemen's bodies arrive Abuja by Nikes(m): 9:48am On Aug 12, 2019
Okay now, I stand on a neutral ground and since this whole army- police saga came on the news, I've been pondering on what might have transpired between them before the attack. Everybody is claiming, but we still dont know the facts yet. I've watched the video, and my deduction places faults on both security agents.
On the policemen's side
1. None of the police men had the police uniform on.
2. The police men didn't use a service vehicle in carrying
out their operation.
3. They were armed on mufti and in an ordinary vehicle
that had not even a logo to suggest it belongs to a
security agency.
4 All three used a single Vehicle to arrest a crime Lord.

I know these guys are special agents and do carry out their operations in mufti. But arresting a criminal in a single non personnel vehicle without Backup? Sir, Ma, if I am a soldier and I notice a man being held in cuffs in a car like that with 3 men inside, I wouldn't hesitate to swing into action.

On the army's side
1. They killed 3 personnel of the NPF including a civilian.
2 They made the Crime scene accessible to every dick
and harry.
3 One of the policemen must have shown his ID after
the attack as what someone said in Hausa suggested
that. But the soldiers didn't give a damn.So apparently,
they already knew who they were.

Now, where is the guy that got "Arrested" or
"Kidnapped"

Every allowance coming from the FG is either cut in half or totally blocked by our generals dem. The Naval officers have also learned what syphoning is about, from the army. Soldiers hardly get their allowances paid in full. Not even their salaries. Going by the documented salary structure of the army, a PTE isnt suppose to be paid 48000 as basic salary. It's supposed to be way more than that. Every soldier on operation is entitled to his RCA. But today, even those in the front(Borno,Adamawa, etc)only get little stipends. True, no organization in Nigeria is as strong and as corrupt as the Nigerian Military.

As for the men, it would only take the grace of God for dem not to get caught

This phone's camera is by far mediocre. Tho daylight shots are just ok, The noise in low light shots are way too much not to notice. Screen flash is almost useless. As for the battery, with the help of Greenify, I got 10hrs plus SOT on Glo 3G yesterday without the slightest heating ish. Without greenify, I only get 6hrs plus with a little overheating. And yea, the face unlock on my A10 isn't that fast and finds trouble identifying one's face in low light. My A10's software is upto date

OP abeg how this A10 split screen dey work cos me, I don try all possible means but never figure the split screen out o
Phones / Re: The Galaxy A Series! by Nikes(m): 9:16pm On Jul 09, 2019
Ok, so I use the A10 and few days back, i complained about the battery not being that good. The overheating issue was also frustrating. I updated my software, it was still like that, then I cleared my Catche and noticed that the heating had reduced considerably. As for the battery, I could only achieve a little over 6hr SOT on 3G while running apps like fb, browser, WhatsApp,NL, playstore etc Then yesterday, I installed greenify and used it to hibernate all my apps. This morning, I charged the phone to 95%. My SOT since then has been 4hrs plus while running my normal apps on 3G. Right now I have 61% left. At some point I even wished my phone could heat up a lil beat to warm up my cold hands. Camera still bleeped up tho

NB: my device ain't rooted
