What i don't get in all of this is this: - If he had the power to print money to bailout the banks, why did he go ahead to pump in the money directly into banks in a way that still does not solve the problem of debt owed the banks by government, does not solve the problem of debt owed contractors by government and in a way that starts raising eye-brows in terms of ownership issues of the banks. 1. Why did he not print the money and coordinate with the finance minister so that Government can use the money to pay the local debts instead of bailing out the banks. 2. Use the money to also pay people owed by government who in turn owe the banks. 3. Then after government has paid the banks what they owe them and also after government has paid the people they owe. The CBN governor can then go ahead to sanitise the banking industry. So you see that fact that the above 3 points could have been followed but were not followed but instead he implemented a means whereby ownership of the banks become an issue makes it all smell and look like HE has an ulterior motive for his actions. He did not have to bailout the banks, he could have coordinated with the finance minister such that the money is directly and immediately used to settle the debts owed the banks and contractors by government. THE ISSUE IS IF IT SMELLS LIKE A RAT, TALKS LIKE A RAY, WALKS LIKE A RAT . . . THEN THE MOST OBVIOUS EXPLANATION IS THAT ITS A RAT. Vanguard reported (almost like a prophecy) what Sanusi is currently doing. Sanusi himself seems to be doing some of the things reported almost like a fufillment of prophecy. When did it become part of the job of the Central Bank Governor to start looking for buyers for Banks that are private property (even if the owners and directors were corrupt). Above all I still maintain that: UNITY BANK IS NOT A SAINT EITHER HENCE HOW COME IT WAS SPARED. ABOVE ALL, THE MORE YOU LOOK AT IT, THE MORE YOU REALISE THAT CBN'S ACTIONS UNDER SANUSI TENURE LOOKS, SMELLS AND FEELS AND INDICATES TO ME THAT HE IS IMPLEMENTING ANOTHER AGENDA OTHER THAN THE INTEREST OF NIGERIA AND THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY. @Abagworo Okay . . . i am not saying Isialangwa is the only Ngwa people i am just saying that is the only one i know. By the way, - Kidnapping is wrong and bad irrespective of where it occurs. - However what i can't seem to understand is that why would indigenes rejoice or are you trying to say that kidnapping is being used a means to drive out non-indigenes or something. - This is because uptill now, i was thinking that the kidnapping is being done purely as a form of business. - I just wish those people doing the kidnapping would please just stop, cus frankly speaking it would not profit them cus at the end of the day . . . investments businesses and peace loving individuals would prefer to relocate at the end of the day once they realise that their business and families would be compromised as a result of kidnapping and ransom payment. |

Do i know whether Banom is sincere about what he is talking about . . . nuclearboy:Unfortunately i cannot take credit for the diagrams or the information presented, rather those diagrams and information were obtained by me from listening, learning and presenting extracts from other people's work, post and research about the Egyptians both from people on the internet or from nairaland itself. - I also listened and observed certain posts on nairaland, hence i got some of the information and diagrams from some other people's posts on nairaland. - I also did some listening of history based videos, hence i got some of the information from those people. - I also searched the internet for further information and diagrams, hence i also got some other information and diagrams from other websites on the internet. To me Nairaland is an avenue to be entertained, gain valuable information and news, get more vivid insights into life issues and in certain cases increase in knowledge and understanding as regards certain intellectual and academic issues. This means that on a personal level I can say that Nairaland has affected me both positively and negatively. . . nevertheless the important however is that a matured mind needs to find a way to block out and filter out the negative effects. Overall, I have observed and it suprises me that its easier for people to throw insults and try to assume a position of superiority rather than to actually listen and gain insight from another nairaland member who is in a better know how of the topic and issue at hand. Personally I have noticed that I am not always right on every issue I comment on, hence i have come to teach myself to swallow my own pride, take corrections, edit my postings accordingly and in some cases even publicly apologise for making the mistake. Hence my questions are: - Why do we people prefer to insult others rather listen and learn from what they are saying ? - Why do we people assume that we are always right even though thats not even humanly possible ? - Why can't we people have a discussion in which we listen, we pause, we think and then we respond ? - Why are certain posters unnecessarily dogmatic ? - Why do we not realise that others are watching and learning and observing our traits ? - Why do certain people have multiple IDs ? - Why do we prefer to continue to speak and post on certain topics of discussion, even though the best thing is to actually be quiet and listen to what others are discussing ? - Why do we assume we know everything about everything and yet do not really know anything ? - Why is it that some people are pretending to be who they are not ? |
