no2 atheism read from debosky.
He is a Yoruba man
please read his comments on this thread
I for one does not support  MEND and never have
I call them criminals because that's what they are
You say Igbos are tribalists because you've lived in Igboland
Igbos say Yorubas are tribalists
I haven't lived in Yoruba land but the comments about Igbos from Yorubas here on this forum and anyother tells you the mindset of the average Yorubaman where Igbos are mentioned.
I've heard words like drop outs,419ers,rogue spare parts dealers etc.
Forgetting that the Nigerian statistics tell us Igbos are the most educated Nigerians by JAMB statistics and have the lowest poverty rate.

There is no victim mentality
It is not hidden fact that that the Yorubas and Hausas have always worked together to opress the Igbo man politically
Is that not a fact?
remeber the 20 pounds Awo scheme?
yet when Igbos do what they know best i.e business, the same Yorubas and Hausas try to frustrate them.

Now do you know the heavy tariffs placed on importation especially Okirika ,electronics, textile and spare parts
I know because my family does business
The only reason Obasanjo did so was to frustrate Igbos and he makes no light of his hatred for our guts
but guess what
The cost is passed unto you and me so who suffers?
@osisi , yes u are married and i apologise to ur husband in advance , oya lets kiss and make up, considering that i no wan fight u as u fit be my future in-law  grin since i no mind marrying an igbo woman.

@osisi please answer me, did i ever mention that u support MEND.

Go through my posts one by one, line by line. My comments are based on the observation of what certain igbo men on this forumn are saying and also based on my own real life experiences and interaction with Igbo people are as a yoruba man myself.

I do not support obasanjo, i never did, infact most yorubas would tell you that he did little or nothing for yorubas (another evidence against tribalistic individuals on this forums who think Obasanjo is out to get the igbos).

Osisi trust me Yorubas and Hausas have not been working together to suppress the Igbos (that kind of statement from u is exactly the kind of thing that i am trying to counter), its just your political leaders brainwashing you into believing falsehoods. Okay what if i told you that Igbos have connived alongside Hausa-fulanis to actually oppose most Yoruba Presidential ambitions (Twice against Awo and Once against Abiola), does that now mean i should generalise about Igbos having a conspiracy theory against Yorubas.

--------------------------------

I have checked the Jamb statistics myself and there is something fishy but since i do not have the time to do the analysis i would rather let it rest.

The Jamb statistics is not undisputable for two reasons.

1. Yorubas students sometimes specifically look for schools in places like the north, middle belt and south south where it tends to be easier to get admission, hence the question becomes whether or not those yorubas are countered for the East or West or the North under the Jamb statistics that you are quoting or not.

2. Easterners where hardly going to school compared to Westerners in the places i have been in the East, e.g. NABTEB exams  grin

-----------------------------

My opposition against MEND in this issue arises from the fact that some Igbo people on this forum actually are supporting MEND and happy that such a destruction occured in Yorubaland, hence why i asked t question whether or not they would still feel the same about MEND if that same thing happened in the East.
Nobody is playing any victim card my friend. It's your inscurity that is disturbing you immensely. Igbos have suffered in the hands of tribal haters like you in the north and complaining about it is not playing the victim card,  History has shown that in igbo and ijawland, there have never been a social unrest fueled by tribal hatred except reprisals attacks because of what is happening in the north. Igbos have been attacked by Yorubas of your like in lagos and ibadan but have you heard the same about Yorubas in the east?.

It's Yorubas that complain about tribalsim is nollywood, tribalsm in this and that yet 60% of tribal comments here come from them. Don't relax in your little world and wait for another man's sweat to come to you because you feel marginalized.  The emergence of almajiris in todays yorba nation is as a result of people like you that frowns at hard work and demand affirmative action. We have people like that in igboland and we call them ndi iberibe.

we already know that. Just like in the north, south east and south south. You are not the only Yoruba in this world, others think outside the box.Have you been to London before? Yorubas have the highest investment in london and last time i checked, ibadan is not even close to a ghetto in london. Your senese is warped because that comment above means that Yorubas are ethnocentric and will never invest in another persons land.
@aloyemeka abeg ask from @Osisi she would inform you that i am not one to trade insults even if it is being peddled by the other party.

- i never said Yorubas never invest outside their domain, all i said is that yoruba investments within their domain tend to take precedence over that outside.

- yorubas that invest in london do not play the victim card in london, instead they already understand that they are not in their home land hence its not their place to complain about the host and at the same time seek to enjoy more benefits from the host.

- off course i can't understand the Biafra mentality, that is quite true same way that you cannot understand the concept of being fair with ur comments.

Yorubas do not dwell on protesting about tribalism  from the igbos towards them, instead they sit up and do something about it and find a way round the tribalism. Instead all i have been seeing on most of this politics thread is that the Igbos keep claiming and blaiming the yorubas for everything wrong with them. Why don't u look inwards for a change or is it easier to blame someone else for your problems.

@osisi apart from your typical taxi man business can u please name me one yoruba investment in igbo-land. Considering that owning a taxi business in Abia state is not really a big deal considering that Okadas are more or less the nominal mode of local transportation in areas of the East that i have been to etc.

The issue here is that yorubas live in the east, but u hardly see them complain as much as some igbos on this nairaland, despite that it is an open secret that the tribalistic nature of the Igbos make is next to impossible for even a yoruba man to even have a foot-hold in markets dominated by igbos even on yoruba lands e.g. Alaba Market international.

Yorubas that live out of their homeland already understand that the host takes precedence and that the visitor does not try to usurp the host, however the same cannot be said of igbos in other lands. Yes i know that Igbos go back home to the village to celebrate or build houses, hence the reason for places like Abiriba (small london).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once again, Yorubas are not against Biafra, yorubas would careless if Biafra exists or does not. The northerners are ur enemies not yorubas yet for some reason, u seem to blame ur own historical/military failures on the yorubas.

Before there was oil was there already public developments in the South West, hence its mere cheap political scores to try to link failure to actualise Biafra to what Yorubas might have or might not have done.

Threat of Militant attack affects foreign investment in Lagos state, hence it is not just the issue of crude oil that we are dealing with here.
Threat of militant attack affects sense of safety of most westerners in lagos, hence MEND indirectly is affecting Yoruba economy as a people considering that Lagos is more or less the nerve center of Yoruba economic activities.
Why not destroy federal government properties in Niger Delta if it was merely a public property that was being destroyed.
Why not destroy federal government properties in the East if it was merely a public property that was being destroyed.

Hence either way u look at it, MEND attack in lagos is an affront to the Yorubas, hence the truth is that one cable on the bridge between Yorubas and Ijaws has already been burnt via this MEND attack.

------------------------------------------------

I have notice with sadness how some Igbo people on nairaland where more or less rejoicing that MEND attacked a public property on Yorubaland, it is an open secret that their basis for rejoicing was not an issue of whether or not an FG property was destroyed but rather more related to the fact that they are happy that something was done that would affect the Yorubas one way or another.
It is distasteful, tribalistic and downright unbiblical for an Igbo person living in lagos to be happy that Ijaw men (hiding under the name or group) choose do do what they did in Lagos, considering that there are most evidences show that MEND is more criminal than militant, goodluck jonathan, ibori, etiebet, odili, etc pose better .

It does not take a rocket scientist to note that Yorubas have mostly been the neutral party in the mess known as Nigeria, hence for some Igbos to rejoice cause of what MEND in Lagos (where lives where lost) is just an evidence to show the state of mind of certain people on this forumn,

----------------------------------------------

Yes Niger Delta needs autonomy, however attacking Yorubas or alienating yorubas is not the solution,

----------------------------------------------

sley4life:
No2Atheism, ive been reading ur comments & its like that of an immature adolescent. About saying Igbos are tribalistic, i disagree with u. They are among the friendliest and i can prove that to u. But i wont waste time doing that now. I guess u should take a trip to the eastern state & see for urself.
- I do not need to take a trip i have experienced more than a trip,

- immature u say, don't make me laugh, by the way i do not do personal insults (osisi would at least support me on that), hence your statement would go un responded to, infact u do not need to go far, (consider Alaba market as a typical example of how tribalist igbos can get even outside of their own land).

- I already have first hand experience of living amongst them in the east, hence i already have first hand experience of what the mindset of a typical Igbo is (unless of course u want to claim that Igbos in certain areas of Abia are no longer mainstream).

By the way, please do not misunderstand the point i am trying to make, my points are these:

- Compared to Hausas and Yorubas, Igbos are fiercely tribalistic, that does not mean yorubas are not also tribalistic, it is just a comparison showing the extent of tribalism.

- Does that mean all igbos are tribalistic, off course not cus a significant number of them are not (as i can remember one very nice, very educated and intelligent old man in Amaekpu Ohafia from my experiences).

- Does that mean i did not enjoy my experience with them, off course not, i did and i would gladly marry an Igbo woman (infact) even despite all baggages that they come with.

- However my positive observation of Igbos still does not hide the fact that its inappropriate for Igbos to blame Yorubas for everything under the sun and even go as far as rejoice cus MEND caused destruction on Yorubaland. Hence because i have good experiences of Igbos does not mean i should refraing from speak out about the bad traits when it comes to tribalism.
Politics › Re: MEND Attacks Lagos by No2Atheism(m): 7:51pm On Jul 15, 2009
The issue here is that Igbos should stop playing the victim card all the time, yorubas do not buy land or make investment in the east because:

1. Igbo tribalism would scuttle it
2. There is enough opportunities to invest in the west.
3. Yorubas would rather take care of the home rather than do Ajala travels.

Igbos should stop complaining about how nigeria is bad for them while at the same time they and their leaders are benefitting financially from it one way or another.

Igbos would continue to have issues with someone like me, cus i believe in fairness, hence i do not support anyone whether yoruba or igbo or hausa or ijaw who plays the victim card and still at the same time benefits from what he or she is claiming a victim from.
Politics › Re: MEND Attacks Lagos by No2Atheism(m): 7:45pm On Jul 15, 2009
I have lived amongst igbos in the east and i know them to be the most fiercely tribalistic people that i have met. The way they even verbally and physically attack each other on simple issues in igbo land is wat makes suprised that they are trying to claim the higher ground.

The issue here is that:

Nigeria is corrupt.
Nigerian politicians are corrupt.

Devolution and ultimately completely autonomy of each region is one of the ways that this corruption can be tackled so as to make it easier to tackle the corruption locally without a national cabal disturbing the proceedings.

I support Autonomy of Niger Delta, however what i do not support is the attempt to start destroying public structures in the South West all in the name of Freedom Fighters, freedom fighters my ass, It is an open secret that most of the so called MEND people are more or less fighting for their own pockets, hence the war is not the solution. National Conference to discuss devolution and ultimate separation is the solution.

At the end of the day, Ibori, Alamesiagha, Etiebet, odili and co continue to steal oil and money and yet u hardly hear peep from MEND towards them. Is that coincidence or calculated intent to leave the criminals and instead instigate inter tribal war by destroying properties not on Niger Delta soil.

spikedcylinder:
Wow. Mend attacks Lagos and all of a sudden, its Igbo vs Yoruba.
Ironically, MEND is neither Igbo nor Yoruba. undecided
@spiky

The issue is that, it was inappropriate for MEND to attack Lagos since Lagos is no longer the seat of government and considering that Atlas Cove is situated in yoruba land, hence its a something amounting to a declaration of war.

USA would not take lightly to USSR attacking Alaska even if it was just a fuel station.

Any sensible person knows that its inappropriate for MEND (Ijaw people to be precise) to attack an installation in yorubaland while leaving their own corrupt governors and politicians in Niger Delta and Abuja unscattered.

- Osisi is it easy for a non-igbo to own land in the east (osisi u and i both know that its easier said than done when it comes to land ownership in the east)
- is it possible for a non-igbo to be a part of the state government in the east ( osisi u r and both know that even amongst igbos it is next to impossible for for someone from aro-chukwu to hold political office in bende talkless of an outsider like a yoruba man)

The issue here is not whether or not igbos are not free to go anywhere they like or off course they are ,

the issue is whether or not, igbos want to eat their cake and still have it.

In that case goodbye, cus my time is precious and i don't intend to waste it on someone who both opposes european lies and still accepts some european lies when he benefits him or her.

christianity has nothing to do with europeans, it is not an european construct, europeans themselves were pagans and are mostly still pagans (although modernised), hence get your facts right before throwing about lies.

The bible is the standard for any christian.
The bible never said the Messiah was white, it was the racist europeans who said that.
The bible never said u descended from monkeys via evolution, it was the racist europeans who did that.

So there is no confusion about the race of the messiah, its only those who are racist and brainwashed amongst both blacks and white that choose to say that there is a confusion. So please try to use facts in your statements next time instead of conjectures next time. Below is even a website of a white man that openly admits that the Messiah could not possibly be black.

I would no longer be responding to your statements cus it seems u have decided to go the way of being ridiculous and melodramatic about issues instead of tackling them from and historical and biblical stand-point (which i believe i have already done for u in the past on the same topic of the race and skin color of the isrealites). hence i do not intend to waste anymore time discussing it seems u are hell bent on using european propaganda as the basis for your own truth.

Why do you keep believing the western media that the Messiah was white even wen u claim not to support the western media, is that not hypocrisy to use a western propaganda as ur basis for truth and yet claim some other people are lying.

Yes i know most ignorant people and christians are actually think the Messiah was a white man, probably due to the history of slavery and colonialism where a white image was used to propagate european propaganda.

Yes i know most white people don't like to admit it that they actually do not have a resemblance or similarities to the messiah of the bible.

At least @Tudor when u are making a statement of fact, let it be based on fact and not on popular opinion. do your research and stop insinuating that the Messiah was white, cus the bible shows that He simply cannot be white. Abi u see anywhere where either of the disciples or the Messiah himself was sun burned in that area of the world.

Even if u believe Julius Ceasare, Nostradamus, Aristotle, Heredutus, Socrates, Cleopatra, Alexander the Great ever existed but do not believe that an Isrealite known as the Messiah did not exist, at least get your historical and biological facts right instead of continuing to help propagate the historical lie about the White Europeans being the real jews. Islam › Re: Jarus, Mukina And Olabowale, I Got Your Messages Late by No2Atheism(m): 11:46am On Jul 15, 2009
Jarus:
ABUZOLA: A SYLLABUS OF GOOD INTENTION, WRONG APPROACH!
I opened this thread early this morning to get a disappointment of my NL life.  But at a second look, other than the attack on the person of Mukina by Abuzola, I was not too surprised.

I know Abuzola's issue very well. His case is simply one of good intention, wrong methodology. No good Muslim hears or sees a wholesale mockery of his God, Prophet and religion, as is done by some people on NL, and not be tempted to pay them back in their coin. But while doing this, Abuzola let his personal emotions overwhelm him and he, most times, threw prophetic approach to the gutters in defending Islam.

I understand Abuzola's feelings. I personally appreciate his passion for Allah's prophet. Admittedly, sometimes, when I read the blasphemous statements cast on Allah and His prophet, I also feel like punching the poster, especially after clear explanations have been made to these people. But why not apply wisdom.

While not defending Abuzola, I will say it is maddeningly loud to keep silent in the face of all these e-attacks on Allah, Islam and the personality of prophet. But instead of opening threads here and there to invite them for a fight, why not keep to their threads and engage them in debates in areas they open. Olabowale hardly starts threads. What he does most is countering their false accusations against Islam. Most of the threads Babs started are either warning/caution to Muslims or explanations to non-Muslims on issues raised by them. Ditto for Lagosboy.

Much as I hate to inject tribe into any analysis, understanding Abuzola inevitably calls for the mention of one thing I personally observe: Northern Muslims appear more passionate about Islam, but 'some' take it to the extreme, and from what I have seen here, Abuzola is one these 'some'. Muhsin, Auwal87, MC Usman employ civility and wisdom in their religious arguments. I hope Abuzola will do a rethink, and tread softly.

I however recognize the fact that we have different personalities, and one way or the other, our personalities reflect in our arguments and actions. We cannot all be soft. Someone needs to be hard at these intruders, but it definitely has to be within limits. Among the companions of our holy prophets were those that were soft(not coward though) and those that were hard(like Umar), but one thing even the hard ones will not do was go beyond limit, as Abuzola went in throwing tantrums at Mukina.

Mukina did not deserve the least of the vituperations Abuzola spewed at her. She is so passionate about this section and wants the best for the Muslims here, while not being impartial to other people. Granted that Mukina is number 2 in command on NL, I don't think it is fair enough to expect her to 'Islamize' the forum(pitiably, I have to use that word- Islamize). Seun, the sole owner of the site is an atheist, and I have not seen his co-travellers in atheism clamour, directly or indirectly, for the protection of their belief on NL. There is a limit to what Mukina can do. Yes, she's a super moderator, but she has to respect the powers of the Moderator of religion section. I personally do not have any problem maintaining sanity and warding off perennial thread hijackers here. But one fact we have to live with is, except NL is a completely Islamic forum(like Islamic site), there is no way we can completely ward off these people. We can only try to defend our noble religion, and expose their antics, but we can hardly stop them.

So Abuzola, in the interest of Islam, try to thread softly. We have cautioned you privately several times. I PMed you trying to caution you. Mukina and I once sent you a strong-worded message trying to call you to order. You had served ban in the past. But instead of refining your ways, you resorted to opening threads and attacking us. This is not the prophetic way.

I recommend to you a book 'The Prophet's manner of correcting mistakes'.

And another warning to those non-Muslims that come here to forment trouble, I will not cease to do what I know how to do best, according to Noetic: deleting and locking threads.

PS: Pardon my serious, long-word 'essay', that's my forte.
@jarus Hope u did not mean d same MC Usman who threatened nairaland owner. Sometimes i wonder whether most muslims know what it means to be honourable with your statements.

@abuzola abeg do not do anything dangerous to Mukina o, we christians still have many more personal insults that we would throw her way. Or wait is it that you are picking on Mukina because she is a woman and fundamentalist muslims have no respect for woman. Hence why u are praising Jarus because he is a man, and hence can do no wrong in ur eyes. Abeg leave Mukina alone o we still need her and jarus around so that we can get someone to accuse of doing something against christians.

@jarus thank you for confessing that you delete threads that expose islam for what it is, at least now we know what to write in the upcoming memoir of nairaland about those who try to suppress the truth.

@others islam can kiss my black ass for all i care, this is not a politically correctness issue, this is about telling the truth. And the truth is that:

- Mohammed never went to any Al Aqsa mosque even though he lied that he did.
- There is no original bible, mohammed never produced it and he has lied so many times that his own words cannot be trusted.
- Mohammed played with Aisha at a young age in ways that would be considered inappropriate for someone her age.
- Mohammed slept with Aisha at a young age even though even Arabic culture did not permit such a thing before mohammed did it, arabic culture was changed by mohammed so as to cover up his peadophilia.
- Allah is unforgiven cus there is not one single evidence of when and how he forgives people.
- Mohammed was never a prophet, the jewish woman who poisened and killed him, exposed that to those around him that time.
- Conversion in islam is mostly by birth, forced conversion or threat of violence or by payment of money to anyone who converts, hence it is those not really an honourable thing.
- Not one of the muslims on this thread are willing to allow a man do what mohammed did to aisha to their own daugthers, hence it is blatant lying and hypocrisy to keep defending the lying pig called mohammed knowing that you do not agree with his ways.

By the way, muslims and non-muslims should please avoid Abuzola, cus his statements shows that he's suicidal and not mentally alright, hence it would be best for his safety and the safety of those around him that he is left alone so that he would not hurt himself or those around him.

Yes the moderators (Jarus and Mukina) can delete my posts and ban me now, i have said my own.

Here goes another person who does not actually understand what the bible clearly says.

- The Messiah Himself was not rich, even though He had the power and means to make people and Himself rich materially.
- The Apostles themselves could not be considered rich.

RNKJV
Luke 9: 58
58And Yahushua said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

meaning that he was basically homeless at that point in time. Hence i don't know where you are getting your view points from.

- The Messiah did not die to make you rich, He did died so as to save your souls.
Riches would follow later when He establishes His Kingdom on Earth, for now the work is to get by and spread the gospel so as to save souls.

Please read your bible and stop swallowing talking points of fake pastors, who always ask you  to sow seed into their own lives so as to make you rich  but never actually sow financial seeds into your own lives so as to make themselves rich.\

The Bible (1st Peter 5:8 ) warns us about christians like David, Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Lovers of Themselves (2nd Timothy 1-5)

But mark this, there will be terrible times in the last days  >>>>>>>>>>> slanderous, without self control, brutal, having a form of godliness, yet denying its power >>>>>>>>>> HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

Generally speaking - It's relevant for Christians to focus on the word of God because satan is out there trying to get you any way that he thinks will work.

My brother David, read James 4 verse 7
@folami86

Wat is wrong with you people can u not hear or see the videos for yourselves. Can you not read the news-reports for yourselves. Can you not crosscheck the bible for yourselves. Do you not see that your responsibility/allegiance is strictly to the Creator and not to any pastor. Can u not see that even Paul corrected Peter wen Peter was erring contrary to the Word. Meaning that the Word was the standard and not the reputation of Peter.

What has David said that is contrary to the bible. You quote the bible yet you fail to see that what you quoted does not even add up to the purpose you are trying to use it for, you just choose a word out of context and then applied it to David.

Why not for once at least try and move back from all the church activities and for once focus on the Bible and actually crosscheck whether what these people are doing is biblical or not.

The bible told us not to forsake the gathering of the brethren for a reason and not just so that we would have a sheeple and group mentality.

RNKJV
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promisedwink
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

The Profession of our faith is that SALVATION IS ONLY BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN THE MESSIAH, hence not only should be gather together, but we must exhort one another so that we would all continue to hold on to the knowledge of the truth even as wolves in sheep clothing continue prowl around devouring naive christians.

This much i know:

- Messiah did not tells us to pray to him, hence even those who pray to the Messiah are heretics.
- Messiah told us to pray to the Father.
- Messiah only told us to ask for something from the Father, through Him (i.e. by mentioning His name).
- Our salvation has nothing to do with any pastor or preacher, they are just vessels just like you and I, hence once they start misbehaving, it is criminal for anyone to keep quiet and say nothing.

Sincerely, I have had enough of people worshipping christians who fail to see that they are condemning many souls to hell when they fail to speak up against heresy and ungodliness.

Catholic Church started with a little heresy, now it is an untameble monster (until the appointed time off course according to book of revelations), Why the heck did you think the Bible called her mother of harlots i.e. she gave birth to other harlots. Meaning that there are also so called churches nowadays apart from the catholic church, who also preach and practise heresy hence they themselves are harlots.

Do you really expect a serious christian to keep quiet and do nothing.

For goodness sake read the bible you are trying to quote and stop quoting things out of context, you are attacking the wrong person. Instead do you best to tells us whether what you heard and see on the videos are not true.

Or else i would advise you to please dwelve into your bible, cus your lack of realisation that what is happening is exactly what was prohesiced of the endtimes and that there would be many false prophets has made you not to realise that Joel Olseen and Billy Graham are basically saying the same thing that is contrary to what the bible clearly states as a statement of fact.

- THE MESSIAH IS THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY -

The statement of salvation is not a matter of judgement, the bible made it very clear that Salvation is through no other man and no other means except the Messiah Himself.

The question is that:

1. Do i know who is going to make heaven or hell at the end of the day amongst all who call themselves saved. NO
2. Do i know the minimum requirement and standard for anyone to even have a hope of making it to heaven. YES
3. What is the minimum standard and required to make it to heaven. SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN THE MESSIAH ALONE.

this is not rocket science, this is clearly written and stated in the bible, hence for two people to clearly speak against it with their own mouths is evidence enough for people to stay clear of them, or have you not heard:

RNKJV
Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 10:33
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

The work of a pastor is not easy, yes, however it is not a prerequirement for accummulation of riches and deception of people. I was twice involved in fellowship administration issues at certain points in my life. Hence i know that whatever words come out of the mouth should always be the truth because of the number of people its going to affect.

so @folami86, if you choose to want to stand by these already exposed not-men of god and go  against what the bible clearly says, that is your choice. However a word is enough for the wise, do with it as you wise and continue to buy their books, pay their tithes, sow their monetary seeds and expect financial miracles, while real souls are perishing and being doomed to eternity because they are not being told the truth about salvation, redemption and the main purpose and reason for being saved.

From Robert Schuller's book, My Journey ,
"I met once more with the Grand Mufti (a Muslim), truly one of the great Christ-honoring leaders of faith. ,  I'm dreaming a bold impossible dream: that positive-thinking believers in God will rise above the illusions that our sectarian religions have imposed on the world, and that leaders of the major faiths will rise above doctrinal idiosyncrasies, choosing not to focus on disagreements, but rather to transcend divisive dogmas to work together to bring peace and prosperity and hope to the world, " p. 502

"Standing before a crowd of devout Muslims with the Grand Mufti, I know that we're all doing God's work together. Standing on the edge of a new millennium, we're laboring hand in hand to repair the breach." p. 501

And these wolves are leading some right into eternal damnation with their heresies.
@david i am telling you i am really worried about the faith and eternity of a lot of people cus it seems people tend to take people are face value instead of checking their history and lives and current decisions against what the bible really says.

For those who still believe Billy Graham is the next best thing since slice bread, please go ahead and listen to this

@Abuzola

You should take time to notice that David and I are not afraid to expose the truth and the false in all religions (christianity included), hence do yourself a favour by sitting down and asking yourself why u personally choose to be a muslim and not a christian and how u intend to get to your allah's heaven.

This is because the Messiah of the bible did not come to create a religion, he came to expose religion and expose the devil who had been imprisoning people through religion.

The Messiah told us the truth , hence it is the duty of anyone who believes the bible to also tell the truth even if it would cost him or her their lives,

Hence i am sorry to disappoint you mazaje but saying the truth is not always a popular thing.

I have always said that True Christians are really few and far between. Infact I believe that True Christians are the least number of people on the planet in comparison to the catholics, muslims, atheists and all.

Standing for the truth has nothing to do with compromise or peace, Paul was killed for it. Peter was killed for it. Messiah willingly laid down His life to save us and give us the truth.

You forgot to include the list of their Nigerian counterparts, business partners and associates.
Am telling you, nigerian ones are actually the ones that scare me the more cus it shows that they are either ignorant of the history of those people or they are complicit or they are just naive.

Most of the successful american pastors are members of either freemason or jesuit or catholic stooge or illuminati or humanist or one secret society or another.

I now understand the amount of damage these so called pastors are doing to the church considering that:

1. they are leading many down the path of destruction.
2. they are destroying families by causing those families to lose their money to them in terms of tithes, offerings and pledges.
3. Some christians are just so feely goody that they do not even realise what is going on.

I went to one church service in nigeria and i was nauseated because it was devoid of most things that really matter, it was all about success this success that, victory this victory that deliverance this deliverance that. The real meat of hearing the real word was being left untouched for most of the service.

Well I still don't think Catholicism is actual idol worship, in the true meaning of the word. They do not worship the image itself, like pagans worshipped their graven images of wood and iron. Catholics are aware of who they are worshipping, that is, God The Father and Jesus Christ The Son. The adoration of Mother Mary is another matter. However from the pictures posted above I would say I do not know much about the modern mode of Catholic doctrine, so I might as well back out of the argument now, peace.
@maedan

I would advise you to stop wavering and get serious with your bible, cus if you do you would realise that it is wrong for you to be politically correct as far as the catholic church is concerned.

The pictures say it all, pictures are worth a thousand words,

The funniest thing is that the catholic church actually openly displays idolatory and paganism, yet for some reason, the blind ones (chukwudi and co) can't seem to grasp that fact, they seem to think that its better to follow the words of the popes than actually follow the bible and learn from history.

By the way Chukwudi wat is the Eucharist and wat is transsubtanciation,

I have hard enough of this blatant ignorance and grass stupidity on the part of catholics, being born into something is not an excuse not to use your brain.

I was born an anglican but i am no longer one by choice, my mother was born a muslim but she is no longer one by choice.

How many more pictures of idolatory of catholics do you want to see before your eyes i opened.

@david, welldone with the topic on pentecostals, i came to know about that recently also hence why i have done my best to avoid anything pentecostal or beauracratic cus at the end of the day it seems all roads still leads back to Rome. Now i really understand how deep and serious the virus of RCC is really is . No wonder the Bible called it the mother of harlots.

Politics › Re: MEND Attacks Lagos by No2Atheism(m): 12:40pm On Jul 13, 2009
It does not take a rocket scientist that attacking Lagos is a recipe for disaster on the part of MEND and the ethnic groups they claim to represent (of which Yorubas in Ondos ought to be amongst if truth be told), however it is obvious that MEND is not really out to protect Niger Delta interest, but really out to protect the interest of a few ethnic groups in the Niger Delta, considering that i have had reasons to understand that some Regions of Abia, Calabar, Port-Harcourt might not mono-ethnic hence the question, who is MEND actually representing (themselves or others)

- Yorubas had developed the west before the discovery of oil and still continued to do so since independence (hence it does not take a rocket scientist to see why the west still thrives even though the north has basically being dominating the affairs of nigeria)
- Yoruba have sustained, redeveloped and are still redeveloping lagos even after it was abandoned for abuja years ago.
- Yorubas do not lift guns and destroying other ethnic groups properties because the Taxes generated in lagos state are being taken out of lagos state to fund other regions, including naija delta.
- Ondo is part of Naija delta, yet you do not see them bombing anybody, hence does it mean MEND is only represent the interest of a few groups in ND or how come Yorubas are also being targetted.
- JTF is populated by northerners according to reports, hence its stupid for MEND to seek to destroy infrastructures in Lagos.
- Lagos has made itself a free city for all to live in and make money off, hence MEND is asking for trouble from the Yorubas once they start considering Lagos as a target.
- I have been in ND and i know that Yorubas do not have as much freedom in other people's lands as they have give other people in their own lands, hence it is crassly stupid to turn Yorubas into an enemy of MEND.
- Despite more than a few years of 13% derivation little or nothing is being shown for it Niger Delta, yet Lagos as a Yoruba state is constantly seeking to develop despite all the overpopulation and lack of financial support from the federal government, even when a yoruba man was president.

It is sad that some people on this forumn are using this opportunity to do a little Yoruba bashing despite that the big picture actually calls or the opposite. Considering that Yorubas have always supported and fought for Complete Regional Autonomy. Attacking Lagos is a stupid idea, considering that MEND needs the support of Yorubas in actualising their 100% derivation dream (which Yorubas do not mind supporting cus we have oil, natural minerals and manpower also in commercial quatities).

Why has MEND refused to attack and prosecute its own people like Odilis, Iboris, Uduaghan, Etiebet, Goodluck Jonathan and co considering those people have made money and still continue to make money from the deprivation of Niger Delta. It is one thing to fight and destroy your own property and land, it is another thing to destroy property located in another man's land and still expect them to keep quiet and continue to watch you to do so.

Logic and Common sense shows that Infrastructures in the North are supposed to be the target not infrastructures in the south-west or south-south, considering that people of the south-west have endeavoured to be fair to all and sundry irrespective of ethnic group. Hence why you find it such that Yorubas tend to fare less in other regions than in their own homeland even though other tend to fare more in yoruba lands.

A word is enough for the wise, MEND is looking for trouble and they would find it if they proceed to destroy western structures, YORUBA are not their enemies, it would be wise not to make them one.

At the end of the day i am still convinced that: Some Western powers and secret security agencies are behind the armed militants in the Niger Delta for the following reasons:
1. Their weapons are quite sophisticated to say the least.
2. It costs a lot of money and a lot of military connections to continuously supply and re-supply military weapons of such high qualities.
3. Their attacks are getting more and more coordinated.
4. MEND members still have access to the West despite that they are openly showing to be militants, hence meaning that the West openly allows them in their own countries despite that the west knows of their activities.
5. Militancy in the Niger Delta ultimately contributes to the increasing the global price of oil even if it causes reduction in the local supply of oil, hence when considered from the perspective of a big picture, more money is made through oil and gas globally, if their continues to trouble in the Niger Delta.
