No need to be scared dear.

Let me give you a little hint in case you really love him to the point of marriage.

When you meet his parents show the usual form of Yoruba respect, kneel with both knees when greeting them.

Don't ever call any of his siblings by name even If you are older than them.

Learn How cook Yoruba delicacies.

Finally, I hope you can speak Yoruba, If not, start learning.

But remember, respect and humility is key.

All the best.
am sure u're talking to your yoruba brother forming Igbo

...and how powerful really is france? all biafra needs is just the backing of one super country like russia and its either biafra or africa is redivided.
what he said is true. IPOB has to thread carefully. If souther cameroon are backing Biafra that is ok but if they are to become part of Biafra then its not acceptable. France is as powerful as you can think. Cameroon and much of west Africa falls under their sphere of influence, while Nigeria is under that of UK. Thats is a fact. Russia has no much business with these territories. Though it looks tempting ,IPOB should be careful courting them to aviod swelling the number of powerful opponents of the struggle. We should seek the goodwill of other nations like turkey to serve as international pressure. Most importantly, we should continue making inroads into the white house. Only the US can actually convince UK to shift grounds on 'one nigeria' as with sudan. We shall get there.

Ipob received 98% of its followership post 2015 elections; that isnt something which is even debatable... As for massob, there was never anything popular about them, even with the massive rise of the ipob, massob only still receives little regard today.
the statement in bold is a huge lie. Massob's 2005 stay at home order was a huge success across SE and SS. People still followed massob until uwazurike became compromised.
Talking of kanus support, his supporters were always there during jonathans time. He held a big rally in Aba on 30th may 2015 (the thread is here on nairaland) . He had already established radio Biafra then. DSS under jonathan knew he has large followership and decided that ignoring him was better. His arrest under Buhari was what led to the large protest and bigger followership.

we can destabilize these people. we were wielding a lot of political powers before the war. the north is at the top simply because we have allowed them and we have not yet made serious movements to challenge and destabilize the status quo. if the Jewish Zionist movement can achieve this despite the time frame it took them then I believe we can. read about the Rothschild and the Jewish Zionist movement
having a pro biafran movement like IPOB is different from forming a political party and joining zoo politics. IPOB get her legitimacy through the right to self determination, while zoo base their defence on the indivisibilty of the country. That is why it is difficult to nail kanu through the courts because Nigeria is a signatory to that. It will also be easy to nail any pro biafran reprentative in zoo govt through the court because he has violated his oath. Hausa/fulani has a hegemonic grip on the country by "virtue" of their civil war victory and they therefore own the nigerian political game. You cant beat a man i his own game. The only chance we have is to strenghten the mass movement, continue global awareness and protests and take part in other nations politics subtlely . We have biafrans worldwide but they dont. That is the advantage we have over them and that is our own game!. It may look futile now but soon the moral burden will be too heavy for the US. May be with time we shall employ methods like the one pazienze suggested, but my problem is that its gonna be difficult. Before you infiltrate the system, IPOB ideology must be deeply engraved in the mind of an average Igbo in order to eliminate the problem of trust and betrayal.

pazienza:
Sometimes, the easiest way to destroy an entity is from within.
The Greeks conquered troy by infiltrating troy. This is why we have moles, spys, double agents, etc, in modern world.

So yes! Biafra can be achieved by infiltrating Nigerian systems with hard core Biafrans whose sole aim is to see to Biafran actualization.
It is a delicate act and would need a highly organized secret organization. Not the type that exposes all its plans on social networks. And it will need time and resources.

My one cent.
how can you infiltrate a system that has phobia for your likes. They already have lived with the fear of Igbo dominance before indenpence and when the chance came through the civil war, they pushed the Igbos aside and immediately implemented the anti igbo agenda, turning the entire establishement into an hausa fulani establisment. They even have a running tacit agreement that no south easterner will hold a position of "trust" again, nor ever will south east recieve infrastructural projects that will place it at par with other regions economically. That is why a south easterner will never be the president, chief of army staff etc, nor recieve huge projects.

This was why they pushed for stella oodua's sack because she violated this "agreement" by attempting to upgrade Eugu airport.
This was why ihejirika was sacked because jonathan violated the "agreement" and gave a "Biafran" the position of army chief. Northerners even called him a biafran who wanted to revenge the war. One major isa even challeged him for tampering with "tradition".

Do u remeber when Amaechi asked why jonathan was treating them as biafrans by allowing Abia to claim ownership of oil well from them? This is to show there are things other nigerians know that Igbo politician are not permitted to know. People like okadigbo and obi wali who knew paid with their lives. Kanu knows this thats why he correctly predicted jonathans defeat. because jonathan tried to fundametaly alter the establisment. To Nigerians suppressing the SE, seen as Igbo egg head and keeping them away from the corridors of power is a sure way of keeping the country united. The north can fight each other but always unite to fight Igbos cos its the only way to keep their interest secure and cotrol their establisment. They will rather outcoup each other than allow igbo "outsider" take those positions and jeopardise their iterests. When it seems they have put an extremist, they will front a moderate to replace him to continue fooling our politicians. That is what they are doing with sanusi and atiku.
Only kanu understands this well and know you cant fight them from within 'cos they monitor Igbos more than you can think. Thats why Ipob is giving them sleepless nights.

Mazeltovscotty:
I am not one of his fans but truth be told, this man has tried alot. Part of what he needs to do right now as a matter of urgency is to
1) provide Awka a good drainage system. Drainage system in the capital city is nothing to write home about. The rain that fell on thursday exposed a lot of things. Only people that could swim were able to move that day.
2) That Eke Awka round about needs to be cleared completely and the market needs to be moved from there because it is too congested. For God sake this is a state capital. I see no sense in situating a market place beside a round-about. Any asmathic patient should not try and go to that area. Poor physical planning is the major problem in Awka.

3) Sanitation is another thing. You need to see how people were coming out throwing their dirts when it was raining. This are the things blocking the drainages. I beg the good people of Awka to stop this nonsense. Moreso, there is a place around Dike place where those hausas use to stay. Not far from ekwulobia urban mass transist. That place is an eye sore and should be sanitize.
However, i fink Obiano deserve another term
eke awka seriously needs to be relocated. Immagine a very big market in such a small area.

Truth is, even with all it's popularity today, if IPOB is converted to a political party, it wouldnt even win an election in the SE against PDP or APGA. You should know that the only strength ipob wields today is a function of the collective hatred of a common enemy (buhari) in the SE. When it comes to an election involving SE vs SE, ipob party stands no chance against pdp or apga; just imagine a new party fronting a candidate to face Obiano headlong? No chance!
the buhari thing is not true. Our people like biafra with or without buhari thats the truth. Uwazurike's massob was popular before he delved into zoo politics. Despite supporting jonathan, massob lost popularity because ppl saw it as a political party. IPOB is popular because they have demonstrated focus, zeal and isolated themselves from zoo politics in the quest for Biafra restoration. So stop using the buhari hatred stuff as a defence.
PoliticsRe: Ipob Is Getting It Wrong Needs To Restrategize by Noneroone(m): 7:52pm On Apr 15, 2017
Op u re funny. You want to destroy a contraption by benefiting from it. You want to contest zoo election and destroy hausa/fulani hegemony through a system that they firmly control. Let me ask u, if you join them can you form a party? If you form a party can you register it? If you register it, can you win? If you win, can you govern in a way that the undermines the establisment as controlled by the hausa/fulani? Can you disobey the law that empowers you? Go and find out what happend to members of pro indepedence party in hongkong parliament.

That aside, Money and power especially the type you find in zoo destroys spirit in activsim and make the most resolute freedom fighters loose focus. That is why freedom fighters are tempted with power and money. This is also why hausa and yorubas always advice IPOB to follow that path. The present style is seriously working and a threat to their one nigeria. So dont be fooled, IPOB is on the right path.

fratermathy:
1. You are a bigot, based on observable evidence on your comments on this forum, especially as it pertains Igbo supremacist tendencies.

2. Isokos and Urhobos are one and the same and if that appears to be land grabbing to you, then sorry, let the Isokos speak for themselves as the Aniomas usually do. Never have I called Isokos Urhobos as you Igbos call every minority group. I respect their identity and compound the names to Urhobo-Isoko. We don't land grab. We carry each other along. The Isokos do the same to us as well.

3. Iwerre Kingdom is NOT the same as Warri City. Iwerre is based at Ode-Itsekiri, off the Warri city. So when you mention Iwerre kingdom, you are NOT referring to Warri city in any way. The Olu of Iwerre knows his domain and certainly can't cross them for anything, just as the Ovie of Agbarha-Warri Kingdom and Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom know their domains.

4. Urhobo is regarded as 5th largest ethnic group in Nigeria according to my sources. If yours say different, then go either yours. It's not a contest. All minorities are nothing but minorities and the so-called majorities, such as you, throw our insignificance to us to massage your egos.

5. You remain the most tribalistic mod on Nairaland.
on nairaland we know those who make genuine threads about culture and learn from them and know those who claim to be true but are heavy tribal bigots. No matter how responsible you claim you are, you antecedents betray you. You are not exactly an Igbo hater but an Igbo admirer who deeply wish he is Igbo. How else can one describe a dude who 'hates Igbo' but cant do without tagging them in all his usless threads. If you dont talk about how ikwerres are not Igbo you tell us how Ika and Ukwuani "dont want to be" Igbo. You even troll Anioma facebook group instead of your urhobo. Concentrate on your urhobo threads and stop seeking for Igbos attention if you dont like them.
I pity your people coa Igbos will always attack them on this forum cos of you.

And where did u get this fact from? I am a nurse and I know a lot of graduates from my field. Pls don't say what u don't know
yea there are many graduate nurses, i never said there aren't . But i also know you have school of nursing and school of midwifery (or sth like that) that train nurses too, and many good nurses train from there. Were the lady's claim of being the first graduate nurse from their town true, it could mean that they've had nurses through above stated schools in the past other than Bachelors. I dont believe a town in that area wouldn't produce a nurse till now. Thats my point.

this is why they call you baboons and monkeys. There is erratic power supply throughout the country but the only people who have expressed the will to turn around their fortunes are now being blackmailed by you who have bigger problems. We know you will worship Emeka offor if You were us but we refuse to be exploited. Emeka offor's attitude has nothing to do with Biafra. He isa a bussinessman and bussinessmen are not charity workers. Bussinessmen have propensity to exploit but, it behoves on the people who constitute the bussiness environment to teach any exploitative organisation that they are not to be messed with. Oil companies apply caution in US but mess up your environment in Nigeria b'cos American people have shown them they have worth. This is what Biafrans in Enugu state assembly just did which Nigerians wont do. Nigerians will hide their worse problems, blackmail Biafrans with their minor problems and later jump into the lagoon for suicide. Pathetic!
