Boss man, keep the flame burning.. you are almost there.. please overlook the 5k extra ,count yourself lucky, a sharp and sound car is always an asset. Trust me ,you got a fair principal too. 3 months is quite generous.

Indrive is really putting up marketing campaigns ( billboards) across Lagos.
I was wondering 🤔 why there was no surge on Bolt around yaba/unilag after the rainfall today.

bro my partner just increased my remittance fee from 30k to 35k. I guess it is cos I remit frequently without stories. I am torn between returning the car and continuing with the car. Started using the car November last year. Talmabout alot of drivers are even offering to pay him 40k weekly.
Is it in the agreement? As long as the car is sharp and sound,Don't drop it, if you don't have another one waiting for you. 5k is marginal. If you are hardworking..
The best way to raise money for your own car and get experience is through rental.

so on friday I got a request from hakuna metata in ahmadu bello going to elegushi beach, as I arrived I saw 5 adults and 5 kids, I told the lady to other another ride so we will both share the passenger(5/5). now this is the gist.
I drive on uber and this was a surge less trip, the lady then requested on bolt. when bolt driver came, we left. when we got there, my fare was #2,300 and the bolt was #1,900. Does that mean uber is fairer than bolt to drivers, also the commission I paid was 5%
Was there a discount given on the display page. I doubt if Uber is more expensive than Bolt.
BTW, Is uber now showing destination ? or they are still in their analog mode since 2015.

I've not done that before. Pls let me know.
Yes,trips are available on Bolt, and the road is free. This is the best combo for ehailing.

I turn on the indrive most times because of the inability to choose where you want to go to on bolt and the commission
Forget Indrive, use Bolt. You don't have experience yet. Which commission? Focus on your income goal. Right now ,it's better to pay 25% of something than to pay 10% of zero.

Presently, there's serious surge on Bolt at yaba, look at the prices of the app you are camping with.

@ honoruable
First things first,You have no business with Indrive at this stage of yours.
You don't have the experience, there are sharks in the waters you chose to swim.. For now, pitch your tent with Bolt.

Focus on the objective which is 10k net. Infact, on a norms,10k net is easy on Bolt. By 1pm or thereabout, you should have this in the bag. Go back home, relax and focus on your other business. Easy ...

I’m ok with net 7k a day for a start. That’s gross 10k with bolt and 8k on indrive

I started driving last year January
Don't limit yourself, you can net 10k daily on Bolt daily.
Ask for strategy, make senior men give you, that's 50k weekly for you. No stress at all. 5 days of work as a beginner.

If you started driving last year January, you should be perfect now. Driving doesn't take time. Just make sure when you are driving, you devote full concentration.. No distractions, don't be absent minded.

Let's start by telling me your income objectives daily..
1 how much are looking forward to everyday ,
Net ,I mean

2. How long have you been driving?

The man is expected to send the lady money to take care of the food & drinks and every other expenses before his people arrive.

Biko, you broke men should stay away from marriage & relationship if you don't have money!!
You have a poor appreciation of family ties.Must everything be transactional, it is the bride's family that should be responsible. If the hubby contributes, its purely from the goodness of his heart.
BTW, what's so special about introduction that the brides family can't cater for. Drinks and food for guests not up to 20. huh

Culture or no culture, it should even be a thing of honour for the family of the bride. It mustn't be extravagant, cut your coat according to your size.

I deem it pettiness on the brides family,if they can't host their in-laws to be.

Please how much is it from iworoad to ajah
Why not break the journey, that way its cheaper and more safer for you? Your chances of getting Ajah straight from ibadan is slim, if there are more berger passengers in the bus, he will drop all of you at Berger, be guided.

1st step - take a bus going to Berger

2nd step- at berger, take another bus going to Ajah straight.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 6:30pm On Apr 14, 2023
Uber is a no for me right now, I can't imagine getting into the berger gridlock without getting a heads up initially.

Took a trip from v.i to magodo yesterday on Bolt, took us 3 hrs to destination. Trip ended 9k+.. I know there's no way any Indrive rider can quote that initially. It was a very tiring drive, the traffic n all.
It's suicide to plunge into that berger gridlock without adequate compensation,
I sensed today's traffic was going to be hellish. I was already at home by 2pm.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 6:13pm On Apr 14, 2023
Indrive reduced the minimum fare bar, so it emboldened more riders to quote fares that are not market compliant.

The losers are the Moove management because they are not aware their espressos are marking time on the Indrive app.
Because, you can't spend on car maintenance from your pocket and go back to the same road and take crap fares.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 9:10am On Apr 14, 2023
If Indrive adjusts fares properly today, I'm switching back. There's no loyalty in this game. If Bolt can block me for a whole week ( for missing trips) without thinking of me losing my income source, then it's fair game if I dump them for another platform to earn more.

No permanent friends or foes. The only permanent interest is to make money, I'm not driving for passion or any yeye hobby, I drive solely to make profitably gains money wise, any app that offers that is good game. No sentiments.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird:
Since Indrive has reduced fares, I use more of Bolt now, it's a hard choice, but it's better to pay 25% of a just fare than to pay 10% of a slave fare.

How do you go from ogba to v.i for 3k in the morning? huh... Honestly I'm lost with the way Indrive run things recently.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird:
For newbies, don't take Indrive estimate for it o, the app sometimes runs blindly..

How do you make money inside this Lagos traffic( esp around 2pm?
Some even work till 11pm.
Hei God. I can't lift my RIGHT LEG AGAIN.😭 I've been asking myself if it's really worth it.

I took my time to curate some curses as txt and sent to a rider today. After I got to her PU, She cancelled and switched off her phone. This was someone I called before coming.

Those that claim to make a NET profit of 20k daily. How? .
It takes some experience to make money in this hustle.. very soon you will get there.

@ samobaba.
Who paid for your drinks? Who paid for the accommodation you lodged in? (Though, you were not safety conscious in this area, cohabiting with a total stranger, you get mind o).

If its the rider that footed the bill, then you don't have enough leverage to demand for your money.

Keep text messaging him, maybe he might have a change of heart n give you some change out of the 30k.

The rider in question is all fluff and bluff, no real substance, doesnt have money as he potrays,he is a typical go in between estate agent who is also waiting for his commission on the deal. So no deal, no money for him too.

Guys pls does anyone here know the essence of the BOLT CAR PARK AT MM1??
1.To generate funds for FAAN. 1000 pick ups daily, equals 500,000 naira in revenue

2. TO prevent obvious clashes between the airport taxis and Bolt guys, Bolt has really decimated the business model of the airport guys. "Na my customer you carry , no be your own" grin, to avoid all those kind of scenarios.

OK. Then. Start with rental unless the HP party involved is a close relative. Bolt is the best app to start learning ropes as a newbie. Cos at least you know where rider is going beforehand unlike Uber that keeps you in the dark.

Is it Moove? huh Cos you mentioned Uber only. If na them and you are on the island, a trip to Ilasan New Road, some 50m from the junction will answer your question.

@ readadream..
Sorry about the ordeal,
Bolt don block me like that last year around May, and that week I needed money cos calls were coming left right n centre. For a whole week.

The painful thing was that I had done 3 trips or so and I was at Abule oja, yaba .. when Bolt blocked me because i missed trips bla bla ,
Why will you draw me out and block me midway, i was livid with rage.. I calmed myself down and opened Indrive.
For like 3 months or more, I didn't open Bolt..

Seriously, no app deserves any loyalty.

Some of these riders are just stu...pid! If you know you have a problem with tinted cars, you communicate ahead. I just feel like slapping this girl if given the opportunity!

Imagine driving to pick up, waited for several minutes only for this goat to come out, came close to the vehicle and went "oh it's tinted glass, I'm cancelling" and she just went back inside. No apologies, nothing! F0..0l!

PS: this happened on Saturday, I got banned after posting.

Sadly, another victim mugged by riders using the Bolt app.
At night or early mornings, avoid carrying more than one rider, and insist rider must sit beside you ( IF RIDER IS A MALE) and he looks suspicious. If he refuses, it's better you cancel.

Good day bosses/pilots in the house....

Ur advices are currently needed n will be appreciated...

I just got an HP offer for a corolla 2010 sport for 8m to be delivered 50k weekly...

Pls should I take it or not given the circumstances of things in the business today...will I b able to make the money back without "overstressing" myself?

Ur advices are currently needed n will be appreciated...

Dont do it. You can't deliver 50k weekly, it's easier said on paper. In reality, it's a different ball game, the fleet management has set you up to fail abinitio.
