I laugh when people shout unilag.

Most if not all government owned universities in Nigeria are below par, unilag inclusive.

Nothing special about the school, I did a PG program there and I am currently running another PG program there.

I have said it before and will say it again unilag is just a brand that's all.

At least one company is still sponsoring educational stuff like this.

Other companies should do such

There might have been but it was seen as something shameful, not to be bragged about , done in secret and because society frowned at it not too many indulged in it.
