Well not governments fault. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria, should the govt employ people t monitor them again? |
sisisioge:Loool nairalanders don't slack sha ![]() Shey the fridge can go for 70k? |
TR1212: @bolded He even has specifications, (calm, loving and pretty) these men will not kill somebody loool The funniest part is that they do have women who go for them that's what I can't wrap around my head. Looking for his daughters agemate no shame at all. My friend I was talking about earlier said for her some of her office girls banking is like a second job for them while ashewo( that's what she called dating a married man) is the main job and I was like |
Funny enough I had this discussion with a friend of mine yesterday, she works at the HQ of xyz bank and the head of xyz dept is trying to toast or indirectly toast her. Abi why will a big Oga be chatting up an employee before 10pm. Family is in the UK, friend has told him she doesn't do married men. I really don't get what the problem is with married men and single girls, can't they leave them in peace. |
HiredGames:The bro in law is the one that does most of the cooking according to the OP. Now he feels since OP is permanently around she should be the one to cook and serve him food, that's his point and motive. It's more or less like brothers wife is now around why should I continue to cook or serve myself Shey you get. If OP didn't want him to eat in the house she wouldn't sneak food to give him when her hubby has given an instruction that his bro shouldn't be served food as a punishment. Food itself is not the issue here in my opinion it's ' I can't continue cooking and serving myself now that wifey is here' that's the point. |
Lool, he has been cooking himself all this while for 2 years, wifey quits her job to be close to her husband this year which is not yet up to 30 days and he's already reporting you to your parents on food matters that you are not giving him food. He is indirectly saying you should be the one doing the cooking and possibly serve him Well at least it's your parents he called but the guy get mind ooo. Next he will call his relatives and that will be worst Leave your hubby with his brother let him punish him the way he deems fit, just sneak and give him the food when hubby is not aware that's all. |
I think soaking your feet in warm water and dettol works. You can use aloe Vera leave it overnight then rub pure coconut oil a number of times on that spot from the next day after cleaning your feet. I believe continuous application of coconut oil will eradicate it. That's the home remedy I know. |
@ ishilove Fikayo is a short form of oluwafikunayomi - God has added to my joy Mostly written as oluwafikayomi aand shortened as fikayo. It's a Yoruba name, it could also mean something else in other dialects What does fikayo mean in urhobo or Isoko? |
Let him go and start drinking, keeping late nights an bringing strange friends at ungodly hours at his married sister's house, if that one's hubby won't call him to order. I can bet he will comport himself or get thrown out if he shows those characters there. Your safety is not even guaranteed in your own home again, how will I wake up at night to meet a stranger on my couch, someone you don't know from Adam? In this day and age, if you get harassed by them nko? Your husband and even your inlaws won't b there to save you. I have a problem with inlaws that have this 'is it your house mentality' Yes it is your house. What they can't do in their parents and female siblings home, they will start trying it in their brothers home because they feel wifey can't talk. You said he's not been eating for 2 weeks abi? So he was wasting food. Stop cooking for him na, he wants to be treated as a child treat him as one abeg. Food can't be wasted in this economy abeg. |
Mup4life:She can claim she won't come down where she's not familiar with by that time. The point still remains they had moved from that spot it doesn't really matter if it's 10 foot steps, you will be surprised th what people are. calling stonethrow could be about 2 mins drive and walking many take more than 10 minutes. Done worst like what? The are a lot o factors to consider here The timing 12am The state of the area - deserted Her personality or character is not a subject of discussion at all, survival, she may be spoilt or rude it doesn't matter but she may have been very scared. |
laudate:Loool that will be after taking her back to that 'stone throw' pick up location for reference sake. There are better ways he could have handled it if he was innocent, but in naija everything is by force and I can't understand why. |
Mup4life:I said the point of pick up since we all agree it's a 'stone throw' from where they were. At least she entered within the same area. Drop her where she was picked that's all. Any body would call people if they feel threatened, the driver called chioma when he felt in danger that's a normal response. He didn't make a wise choice |
Afam4eva:I watched the video he was wrong driving her to his house or any other private location. That's my point, he should have taken her back to that 'stone throw' location. If someone drives me to his house won't I be scared. His intentions may just be I am tired let this babe come down jare but he went about it the wrong way. This is naija every situation that smells like it should be treated like it, that's why she used pepper spray I guess. You would be surprised in some situations that the same Chidimma he's calling could be an accomplice, this is nigeria oo. |
Something is not right about the guys intentions either way, why dragging her and taking her to an unknown location ( possibly he felt Sebi na woman I go bundle am Comot for my moto a that's how a lot of Nigerian guys reason) That place is lonely, who would want to come down there and what is the possibility that if she came down he wouldn't run after her and subdue her if he had the intention to rape since it seems to be his hood( trying to think what may be running through the girls mind) The man may not have intention of rape but something is not just right he should have dropped her at the pick up point or just being a little patient till the other taxify comes would have cleared this. Why dragging her and taking her to another location? That's where he's at fault. Rape can happen anytime even in less dangerous situations ladies have been raped, so the lady may not be at fault for thinking along those lines. We are used to harassment in this country no wonder people are not seeing anything wrong with him dragging her from the vehicle that's very wrong. What if she didn't have pepper spray what would have happened, he was saying he would deal with her how? |
Mr OP kindly remove your banking details, full name etc abi no be your address I dey see so. That's my own concern. This is Nairaland ooo, it pays to be wise with whatever you share with the public especially on social media. |
keepingmum: ![]() Nairalanders will not kill someone |
Na wa. Quite terrifying |
davidif:God bless you very much. No wonder a lot of marriages are in disarray. |
Mopricelezz:Yeah ikoyi own. |
sammydirectly:Okay. Really @bolded well not too surprised anyway |
Mopricelezz:It looks authentic but note that was 2014( the date on it) things might have changed, ibadan southwest might have changed the color of the cert. |
Loool naija parents can frustrate couples on this matter. They see it as their day. ![]() |
Smh lots of boys on this forum. As much as I don't support amaras social media's calling, comments here is making me see the type of men that are being bred nowadays. They see women as properties, imagine people saying 'my brother is my blood' wife is not blood abi. Ladies better shine your eyes. Once you are married your spouse(either hubby or wife) comes first, your immediate family(spouse and children) comes first siblings and parents etc should not take preference over your spouse. I wonder what people term as marriage. When your brother's marry leave them let them live their lives this is applicable to both male and female sibings. Ahn ahn. |
Were they following each other before? |
sammydirectly:Okay never knew one could take from ikoyi to any licensed church anywhere in nigeria. By the way Ikoyi is now issuing a cream thick certificate while most of these churches still have the old long white paper. Either way I think it's best she does the registry marriage at ikoyi to save stress and unnecessary wahala. |
ewizard1:So the father in law will call his own son and say I want to dash your wife xyz, can I go ahead. Issorait ![]() So a father inlaw can not just randomly transfer some money or buy stuffs for his sons wife, his son ( Her husband) has to be notified. You guys should continue deceiving yourselves oo Mother's in law that package foodstuff and soup things from the village nko? They should have sought wifeys consent before sending because kitchen is her territory abi. |
AntiBrutus:Lool I saw it. Is it not Nairaland again. |
AntiBrutus: ![]() This post got to me. I was even thinking what if it's the father in law that buys the gift for his daughter inlaw will he still require his sons permission. At least we have FILS that are rich and spoil their daughters in law with stuffs. Silly people, proud people it's their type that feels bad when the wife is willed many properties. ![]() |
I don't think a document/license from ikoyi registry can be taken to a licensed church in osun (I may be wrong though) It's the nearest LG where your church is in osun that will most likely issue the document. Besides what about the certificate? Does the church in osun have the particular certificate issued by ikoyi? If you are really particular about ikoyi, I advise u do ur vows at ikoyi here, collect your certificate and then go for another solemnization ceremony in church at osun and collect just church cert( double ceremony in reality) But the issue is Anglican is a licensed church and they will most likely give you the government marriage certificate (most likely from the lga that branch is located). Except you tell them you only need their church cert. Ask around in that Anglican church they will tell you. |
Nigerians no get chill sha The mark on the beast is on you... Shey she will wait if she seemark of the beast. loool. |
I will question your Christianity if you ask me such a question? What sort of Christians do we have nowadays? |
Reading through some comments make me wonder the orientation some people have and how they were brought up. If you can't handle your wife and your extended family you are not fit to be a man. Wife/hubby comes first, that's where people begin to have issues, let your family/siblings know this it willl help anyone. An insult to my spouse is an insult to me shikena. Not talking about the Amara issue anyway that's their problem they ll solve it. |
