Bokoharam Is Fighting For Justice – Bamangar Tukur National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, has said members of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, are fighting for justice. According to him, many Nigerians feel aggrieved and seek various means of airing their grievances. Tukur, who spoke in Abuja on Tuesday when he received members of the party from Gombe State, said there must be justice in the country for peace to reign. He however regretted that the activities of the sect were preventing some northerners from travelling to their home states. Tukur said there was no way angry people would control their anger when there was nothing on their stomachs. He said, “Let there be peace in the North so that we can have security. “We can’t even travel again because of the insecurity in the region. Boko Haram is fighting for justice. Boko Haram is another name for justice. “People feel aggrieved. They are angry because they are hungry. Unless we remove the hunger, we too may not be able to rest. “We should remember that a child who says his mother would not sleep will also not sleep.” The former governor of old Gongola State said he accepted to be honoured by the members of the party from the North-East on Saturday in his village because he wanted people know that things were not working well with the people in rural areas. He said, “People would be wondering why I took the reception to my village in Jada. And they would be asking why not a place like Abuja, where we have good roads and all that. “I did so, so that people would know what is happening in rural areas. Those that were there must have seen the bad roads. We must help people who cannot help themselves. “That is why we are in government. You cannot do anything unless you are committed to it. We must build this party on equity and justice.” Earlier, Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Dankwanbo, who led the delegation said the members came to show their loyalty to the leadership of the party. http://www.punchng.com/news/boko-haram-fighting-for-justice-tukur/
@ bolded: hehe loyalty to the party to bury the subsidy scandal in which he signed out 99 cheques in 24 hrs as Accountant general? |
Ordinarily, I will support Mark. But A lot of them there (in the Assembly, and the executive) are committing worse offences and doing more damage to the future of the country than the drug traffickers. I dont support drug related offences, but a lot of these young men and women were pushed into the trade in order to "make it", because the country as being run by David Mark & CO offers them no hope for a decent life for them and their families. |
The new avenue for them.... One day is one day |
Diezani Allison-Maduekwe has broken every Corruption/Scandal record in Nigeria since 1960 |
Pointless grammar. Did they not take into account the time required for the integration and build that into the schedule for seamless implementation? Abeg pay the poor corpers their allowances. Your thievery shouldnt touch the payments of those young men and women on National Service |
RICHIE BOI: So the late Biafran warlord Chukuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu's picture is going to headline the yet-to-be-circulated N5000 notes.Dream on............... |
So the govt has been reduced to a rejoinder government. 90% of Abati's article is to attack Buhari's person. No mention of the pertinent urgent National issues raised. AND tribalistics and bigots are having a free-for-all on their keyboards castigating buhari, the exact response wanted by Jonathan & PDP. Like it or not, Religion/Ethnicity/Politics aside, Buhari remains the cleanest Public officer alive today. I challenge any Nairalander to refute that. |
Excessive fuel consumption can be a ightmare. I wish you success in resolving it. Have you done a scan on the car? It is a 1996 Camry and should be OBD II compliant. It will be worth the money to get a scan and figure the problem, instead of allowing roadside mechanics to be telling you to change this, or service that. The prolem might be as simple as a faulty or even a dirty sensor somewhere, most probably in the fuel/igniton system. Only a scan can give you a definitive diagnosis. |
The building looks more like a glorified motor repair garage than a vehicle manufacturing plant. Anyway sha, Innoson try. they should try to build on this and go nto acual manufacture instead of mere assembly. |
other examples: Police to fish out...... Is being investigated... Arrangements are in top gear.. GOvt has earmarked...... It is in the pipeline...... Planning has reached advanced stage..... All Plans (to sweeten the news) but no action |
mbulela: If she stole and used it for gastric bypass, i would have been her supporter.Seconded. The woman looks like an overfed cow/hippo/elephant hybrid creature. On a serious note, Nigeria has become one huge joke. People in such sensitive postions playing with people's future. |

They should arrest him in Abuja and bundle him via the earliest flight to SFU Milverton Ikoyi. Shikena!! Nigeria is in a terrible mess. So after dodging police invitation for so long, he sent a gang of thugs to come and intimidate the police. I think he is taking the Nigerian Police for a ride. If I were the IG, or Lagos Police Commissioner, I will order the arrest of those thugs who have no business causing disorder within the vicinity of SFU Ikoyi. Why do our politicians think they are so invincible? |
Yahoo, Ponzi and Nospetco combined. |
Nduka (the thisday publisher) has always been hobnobbing with the powers that be. (dining with the devil). He uses the powers of his publishing outfit to bootlick, praise, promote, and sometimes blackmail political/corporate leaders to get his way. He also uses phantom awards (Thisday awards) to ender himself to them. I think the chickens are coming home to roost for him. |
Justice Marcel Awokulehin: Face of a Rogue Judge Font size: 18/04/2012 05:43:00 Justice Marcel Awokulehin Yesterday, another feather of shame was added to the cap of the Nigeria Judiciary when former Governor James Ibori was sentenced to 13 years in jail for money laundering. The sentencing came after our own Judiciary through rogue Justice Marcel Awokulehin, lost the opportunity to put his name in gold when he quashed all 170 count charges on Ibori, declaring him free, unblemished and not guilty. Prior to that quashing of the infamous 170 count charges, below are some of the moves Awokulehin made before crowning himself as a rogue Judge of the Nigeria corrupt Judiciary courtesy of Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL: •The trial judge in the Federal High Court, Asaba, Delta State caused a letter to be written to a trial court in London sometimes in October 2009. •In the said letter the trial court in London was informed that the case at the Federal High Court, Asaba would be disposed off at the next adjourned date on October 26, 2009. •The trial judge in the Federal Court caused the case to be brought forward by calling lawyers on phone to appear before him on October 12, 2009. •The application of the Accused challenging the 170-count charge was taken on October 12, 2009. Ruling has been fixed for November 6, 2009. •In line with the information passed to the London judge we have confirmed that the 170-count charge will be dismissed on November 6, 2009. •Since the trial in London has been stayed to allow the Nigerian case to be concluded the dismissal of the 170-count charge in Nigeria will lead to the automatic dismissal of the case fixed for November 9, 2009 http://pointblanknews.com/new/exclusive/4088-justice-marcel-awokulehin-face-of-a-rogue-judge.html |
Never!! But the dicovery channel documentary titled LAGOS AIRPORT is enough to putthe fear of God in travellers using MMIA . . And like someone pointed out, most luggage theft is done at the check-in airport not the arrival. . . Except for those whose luggages arrive open (as in torn or destroyed). Advice is Lock your luggage and always wrap it with them airport cling film especially if you have important stuff inside of it.
Got any link for the Discovery Channel documentary? |
Nebeuwa: Now she is responsible for the blood of innocent Nigerians? The way some of you reason, I am not surprised that Nigeria has remained backwards. You all remind me of the poor Southern whites in the United States who vote against their own interest.Tell that to the masses whose cost of living tripled afterwards |
SHe will soon revenge on Nigerians with more subsidy blues.......... |
The blood of innocent Nigerians who lost their lives and livelihoods as a result of the subsidy removal will not allow it. Karma is a LovePeddler. |
With the blood of those who lost their lives and livelihoods and those whose lives became ever impoverished by the fuel price hike on her head, i doubted if she was gonna make it. |
