You all speak Hausa You all eat Hausa foods You all sew your ankara clothings the Arewa way You act like Hausa somehow
The only state that shouldn't be there is BENUE STATE What you are saying doesn't make any sense. Millions of people in Cameroon, Ghana & Niger republic also speak Hausa as a 2nd language just like many middlebelters do, does that also make them part of core-northern Nigeria? Language is not an issue abeg. You are talking about Benue, what of Kogi & Kwara? You are pointless! |

Sonfethopia: Edo state, there are five major ethnic groups — Bini (Edo), Afemai, Esan, Owan and Akoko-Edo. However, Bini-speaking people occupy the most local governments in the state — seven out of 18 LGAs. You don't know Edo well. Afemai comprises of Etsako, Owan & Akoko-edo. It's the general name for Edo north. Besides, Akoko Edo is not a single tribe, there are different tribes there. |

Ekealterego: Are these villages hausas? Do these villages belong to minorities in Katina? What is the purpose of the fights? Might it be that there is a genocide taking place without our knowledge? Why were they farms burnt?
Too many questions? My mind is leading me to one answer. There are no ethnic minorities in Katsina. It is a pure Hausa & Fulani state. There are are indigenous christian minorities though, lots of them, but I don't think this fight is against them, cos if it had been, the christian associations would have spoken up long ago. Apparently, this fight is for the control of Gold mining sites. |

ogbonti: CNN has done a lot to brainwash you and now you are just a dumb terminal of their fake news - let me school you a bit so you don't mislead others here
1. Iran is ruled by the Ayatollah or spiritual leader and they also have a president who is like a puppet to this grand Islamic leader. THESE 2 LEADERS OF IRAN has never condemned their people when they shout death to America, in fact they encourage it, and they give speeches to fan the embers of hate in such protest. HAVE YOU SEEN BUHARI (though many think he is in support of the herdsmen) give a national speech at a gathering of herdsmen, praising their effort to kill and destroy? NO - but that is what the government of Iran under the Ayatollah has done for 40 years and still doing till today. So, what is your point? ........and yes, Iran must suffer the consequences of their leaders misbehavior because leaders have brought blessings or curses on their people from time immemorial. Even in the bible Pharoah brought the wrath of God on all of Egypt (plagues) when he would not let Israel go, Iran of today is not different
2. Trump barred other countries from doing business with Iran - NEWSFLASH - it is called the leverage of sanctions. America must use that to protect America and Americans and her allies. If someone is swearing Ogun for you everyday, you have the right to tell your friends not to do business with that person, right? absolutely!
3. Leaders dont act on impulse? Please give me a break! Trump only reverted to the old standard of sanctions on Iran that existed before Obama acted on impulse to get his European leftist to sign a treaty with Iran that was not approved by the US congress. CNN wont tell you what Obama did was a treaty and in the US constitution, every treaty MUST be ratified by joint congress of upper and lower chambers. No President, not even Trump has the right to sign the US up for a treaty or war (lasting more than 90 days) if Congress does not approve it. Did CNN tell you that? I guess not. This is same for the Paris climate accord which OBAMA did without congressional approval. This is same with DACA which OBAMA did without congress.... Guy, Obama got away with so many bull shhh it... they left him alone because if you criticise him, you must be a racist hating on the first black president - what Obama did, no white president can ever try that nonsense in AMERICA until the end of the world...
4. If Trump has to be a nincompop to UNDO the grave miscarriage of the constitutional provisions Obama did with Iran, so be it. He owes you no apology. Trump is not Buhari that puts Fulani herdsmen from Mali, Niger and Burkina Fasso ahead of Nigerian citizens!
5. Other world leaders who do not like American exceptionalism, who dislike American greatness and who are angry that Trump is no longer handing them free money to fund their socialist agenda like Obama did? Is Russia, Saudi, UAE, Jordan, Poland, Brazil, Japan, Oman, South Korea just to mention a few angry with Trump? NO ---- who are these angry with Trump? China that cheats the USA, some NATO member nations who wont pay 2% of their GDP but have the money to pay their citizens welfare while US workers burst their asses to pay the taxes they squander?
you are living in alternate universe, JUST WAIT 2020 go cure all of una of this TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME....when the big DON wins in a massive landslide...... please book mark this page!!!!!!! Nice post. I thank God for Nigerians like you who are out to stand for the truth. I was one of those previously brainwashed by the leftist media. Now overtime, I am happy that my eyes are opened. I support Trump whole heartedly and I wish Europe's main economies like Germany, UK or France will also have a leader like Trump. My only fear is that extreme right wing politics of western nations will not be beneficial to we Africans. I don't think 'White supremacy' can be seperated from extreme right wing western views. |

Health › Re: BREAKING: World Population Hits 7.7 Billion As Men Outnumber Women In Nigeria by Nowenuse: 8:26pm On Jun 18, 2019 |
trapQ: See them above me making baseless assumptions with zero facts.
Men have always been more populated than women but trust African men to twist this narrative to suite themselves.
In almost every hospital in the world, more male babies than females are always born. In China, there are about 30 to 40 million more males than females making it difficult for lots of men to find life partners. In India it is also the same. That's why they kidnap women and forcefully rape or marry them. It is so bad in China that a man once suggested wife sharing as the solution. Lots of Chinese men also travel to neighboring countries to find wives too.
But Nigerian men don't wanna accept this even with overwhelming facts. The chinese practice female foeticide (aborting female foetuses) all in a bid to have a son because of the decades old one-child policy. Indians practice both female foeticide and female infanticide (killing female babies) because culturally in India, having a daughter is a loss of wealth to the family since every daughter must pay her future husband and his family a very huge and expensive dowry for marrying their son. These are the reasons for having a disproportionately higher male-female sex ratio in India/China. In other countries without such terrible practices, slightly more male babies are born than female babies, but as they age, more males die compared to women, leaving more women than men. |

Mexico is not as bad as you think it is. It has seriously improved over the years, well, thanks to the help of the US. So many US industries are situated in Mexico due to availability of cheaper labour. Currently, 95% of the immigrants from Latin America crossing into the US are not from Mexico, they are from Guatemala, El savador, Honduras, Venezuela, Colombia and co. They only use Mexico as a route. |

shogotermies: Hello everyone.Am a guy in in early twenties,. I wanted a better life for myself, without the help of anyone,.
So I collected a loan from a friend, he lent me a 100k to start the organic skincare business, two months ago. Which we agreed on an interest of 13.5%, and had it on papers too.
So I was able to make production in two weeks,. Fast forward.
So I was unable to pay the interest rate of 13.5%, so Iwas able to pay 10%, which is 10,000.
The guy got mad, he was really angry. But due to d fact my skincare products is just still new, sales was just so poor.
Now I am to pay him, today for the interest unlucky for me I fell into the hands of some fraudsters, I lost my money. But the issue is, I can't pay the interest now, my business isn't showing any positivity. Am frustrated, I need advice on what next to do.
He is now sending me message and insults, thinking am doing this on purpose..
Please mind my grammar and punctuations This is why it is very very very wrong to start a new business with borrowed money. Borrowed money should only go into the expansion of an already established business with a very positive future. I'm so sorry for your situation and I hope u find a way out of this. |

Beninempire: you see what I'm talking about. Even Kaduna is 35-40%of the population.
The reason boko haram was started is because of the massive growing population of Christians in borno and yobe Kaduna is 50/50. In fact at the time of seperation of Katsina state from Kaduna state, christian were the majority especially in Kaduna city. Muslims began a repopulation strategy by purposely bringing in trailers of almajiris from core northern states and dumping them in Kaduna. |

Muslims cannot be majority in Kogi state let alone the entire North central where a state like Benue is 98% christian and Plateau is 80% christian. Niger & Kwara are 70% muslim and have a smaller population than Benue-Plateau. North east cannot be 50/50, it is like 70% muslim. North central is 65% christian. |

tartar9: Stop saying nonsense...Muslims are majority in NW,NE while in North Central the worst case scenerio is 50:50.In the SW,Ondo and Ekiti states are only ones we can certainly say its indigenous population are christain. North central can never be 50/50. Christians are 65% in the north central. To begin with, Benue & Plateau states have the highest population in the region (check registered voters) and Benue is 97% christian while Plateau is 80% christian. Kwara & Niger have muslim majority but it is just with 60-70%. Kogi is 50/50 while Nasarawa is 60% christian. FCT is 70% christian by indigeneship, by settlers it would be like 80% christian. |
Politics › Re: Alcohol Consumption In Nigeria Per Geopolitical Zone - NBS by Nowenuse: 10:35am On Jun 15, 2019 |
Beninempire: everyone knows that. UK just gave Muslims Nigeria not because they have higher population.
States in the north like Bauchi has like 25% Christians, taraba has 80% , Adamawa has 35% Christians.
Kaduna, kano, jigawa, borno has huge number of indigenous Christians unlike their southern counterpart that you hardly find indigenous Muslims.
In south west, only Oyo and osun has high Muslim population. Ondo, Ekiti, Ogun and Lagos are Christians majority.
In north central, Christians dominate plateau, benue. Has high numbers in kogi, kwara and nassarawa.
In ss/se only auchi in Edo north has high population of indigenous Muslims but they going down in a rapid speed. You can find churches in every street in auchi now and Christians now have higher population than them.
I don't believe in this Muslim majority.
Christians are like 59% of the country population, Muslims 35%> traditionist take the remaining. You made a very big mistake. Adamawa state is 60% christian. Muslims are minority in Adamawa state but they are powerful because of Yola emirate and the fact that most of them belong to one tribe (fulani). Christians are also majority in Nasarawa with 60% It is Borno, Kebbi, Niger & Gombe that have 30-40% christian each. Kaduna is 50/50. |

Prices of locally made goods are too expensive. The activities of middle men is not helping. If a bag of locally made rice cost 15k, imported rice that cost much less will find it's way in.

Today Yoruba is the most spoken African language in the world .Aside from Brazil , Yoruba is well spoken in U S , Cuba and some part of Russia. There are department of Yoruba studies in some part of U S and Russian Universities. These is not to even talk of Benin Republic , Togo Ivory coast and some of other countries like that. For further checks go to the Oxford dictionary and check for the word YORUBA. Oodua, adupe ,your inherited language is now part of world spoken language. Bro calm down, Yorubas are a great African race and language no doubt, but pls they are nowhere close to being the most spoken African language in the world. Where did you put Swahili, Hausa, Somali and Amharic? Yoruba is not even an official language in any country. Smaller African languages like Zulu, Xhosa, Luganda, Kinyarwanda-Kirundi, Tswana, Lingala, Wolof e.t.c have the ability to last longer and be more influential than yoruba because all of these languages have official statuses in their respective countries and their children are taught to read and write first in these languages from their childhood before learning English/French. They were late slave arrivals of about 200 years ago and they were heavily concentrated in one area, this helped them easily maintain their culture. They were not mixed and seperated based on languages as was the case with earlier arrivals of slave ships elsewhere in other parts of the Americas. |
