You are comparing a 2001 maxima to a 2005 Accord. The interior and luxurious fitting in this car is not the mate of the accord.

It's obvious you have not been in the maxima b4, the maxima is more rugged, reliable and identical fuel economy with the V6 of the accord

That's because Nissan and Toyota have generally favored naturally aspirated engines. Go check for the most powerful V6 engines and Nissan will definitely be there.

Instead of a forced induction i4, Nissan prefers to just use a more reliable, hard-hitting NA V6 instead. But even then, the twin turbo V6 on the GTR is still impressive af.

Toyota isn't known for building performance oriented engines these days. The most impressive Toyota engine imo is the 2GR-FSE. 3.5L V6 with over 300 HP back in 2006. Very impressive, and there weren't a lot of naturally aspirated 3.5L V6s doing such numbers then.

I don't know how you can answer the delusional dude, more than half of those cars would be embarrassed by a 1995 lexus LS400 they just have high hp, I can assure you their acceleration is nothing to write home about and a handful are not even performance tuned

I gave my rx350 2007 lexus to mechanic to replace atf ws and paid him for that but to my surprise he bought atf t-iv. He claims the t-iv is okay.
My question is this. Do i drain the atf and put the type atf ws or i can still use the type iv for a while. Please assist with urgent answer as i intend traveling from lagos to owerri tomorrow then change it when i get there.

Your reply shows your mechanic doesn't know what he is doing, your vehicle is a lab rat for all sorts of experiment.

A scanning fellow came the other time to do abracadabra nah . Your vehicle is obd2 complaint, evident when you check under the steering wheel column from driver side you will see the port there,like a socket.

unfortunately I can't give you any other information only a physical inspection by an experience technician can put your vehicle back in order. Try to locate the port your self, you can buy a Bluetooth OBD scanner not more than 5k and scan yourself.

As for no starting engine sound and behaviour can rule out somethings but after ringing, the engine worked so let the mechanic check my list up there to rule out those before we move to engine (low/no compression)

Please a Tokunbo Volvo XC90 scan shows it has issues with the Oxygen sensor and rear right ABS

Is the ABS a difficult fix?

Will it run a large repair bill?

ABS could be as easy as just going under the car and plugging in the lose ABS connection on that wheel costing you zero naira to buying a complete ABS unit or sensor new or tokunbo which shouldn't cost an arm or leg.

Tnx a lot sir, My complaint was misfiring & shortage of oil & sometimes stalking but I was told 1ring is worn out & the entire four must be replaced. I commenced but several attempts to start the car after d ringing job was futile until a Scanning fellows came around, did some abracadabra, removed a so called Remote Security switch, started d car & asked d Mecho to drive it to his house with d picture below display on d dashboard. After several complaints from me, they(both d Mecho&Scanning guy)told me it will clear by itself but unfortunately d car refused to start since morning. Pls house, what is d probable cause(its a '96 Toyota Rav4 with 3Sfe, 2.0 engine.

Let the guy scan and post codes. You have a check engine light, as for non starting only a physical inspection can reveal what the issue is, but if you mechanic is good he should start his diagnosis from

EFI fuse
fuel pump
coils and plugs

just to narrow it down to engine issue

Engine and transmission wise 2009 upwards Camry better.

Big daddy and muscle Camry have identical interior spacing. Back in school 4 lepa guys can sit comfortably at the back and two guys upfront in passenger sit, if transport gets worse we know how to squeeze a guy with the driver not a girl though to avoid boner accident

It shares part with maxima, quest, teana, murano, Samsung SM5 and SM7 I don't think parts availability is an issue. Mechanic it's a Nissan, a scan tool, code translation you just point to what needs changing to the mechanic. The engine is not a complicated build.

Both cars would give you very close satisfaction.

The CVT in the altima is very unforgiven if you use the wrong fluid. While the candy is a top gun in the field the other issue with it is the robber magnet thing which can be mitigated.

if Honda has 5 models of vehicles it offers for sale in the whole of US just multiply it by 3 and you get number of Toyota models, if you now join the Acura to Honda and it's like 10 models in the whole of US just be ready to multiply that by 5 for all Toyota affiliates .

On the contrary sir. This is the 2000/01 model. It was equipped with the VQ30 engine which was a revised carryover of that used in the 1995 to 1999 Model.

The dead giveaway was the rear taillight which is all transparent in the 02-03 model but red / clear in the 00/01 model.
We can say it is the prefacelift of that generation of maximas

It's not possible to diagnose sound over the Internet without physical checks. Meet a technician to give you a working diagnosis.

RPM above 2 may be normal in some cars at cold start, a pix of where it sits at cold start and if you have the check engine indicator illuminated now is the time to scan vehicle
