RX330 3.3L V6 3mzfe steel engine, comes with timing belt 240hp

RX350 07-09 3.5L V6 2grfe engine, comes with timing chain 270hp aluminum engine.

2gr is more expensive than 3mz, 3mz can absord issues from overheating, 2gr will get damaged if overheating occurs.

Seems you are new to driving. During heavy traffic (move and stop) driving manual comes with leg cramps nah lagos drivers using manual transmission fit explain am well.

Stop driving vehicle for now ro avoid further damage, buy toyota WS drain the former and put in the Toyota WS transmission fluid.

If the transmission hasn't started slipping or high revs before change then you are okay

Most peugeot are enjoyed as manual transmission but first ask any of your friends, neighbour or colleague using same model with automatic transmission if they have had any problem with auto transmission.

Manual is fun to drive until you get hooked in serious traffic jam. Auto is easy to drive just cost of maintenance and replacement if faulty is the issue

I think we should be updating ourselves on fuel scarcity and pump price per liter.
This will help travellers among us to know where the fuel is available with price.
Like in Epe, Lagos State, fuel per liter is between #179 (Total & Oando) to #250 (other filling stations) per liter as at yesterday.
According to some Okada rider at Ijebu-Ode, some filling station sell #300 per litter.
Ore, Ondo State around #700 per liter same as some filling station at Abuja.

You are wrong about Ore, it is 200naira per liter there.

Edo is 179 for total and some big private stations but the queue no be here and total seldom sells to the public. But the general price for Edo is 230 yo 250 per litre.

All cars mentioned are good but stay away from the Aveo nah bad market on the long run.

Get a civic as first choice, kia Rio then nissan Sentra 3rd

1. Its reliable and luxurious

2. It blends in because it is so common on road

3. You can definitely upgrade body kits to new model because the design is one of the factors in its sales so benz won't change much form .

4. More valuable than the lexus in years to come, G wagon holds its own.

Xterra is a popular nissan ride on road, for me I did say buy one with 3.3L V6 engine avoid the turbo charged 4cylinder engine.

Yes pilot is reliable and solid suspension too.

Sienna 2004 to 06 comes with 3.3L V6 3mzrd engine while 07 to 10 is fitted with 2grfe 3.5zL by all auto transmission.

3.3 has better fuel economy than 3.5 but 3.3 is timing belt 3.5 is timing chain. 3.3 is steel engine so overheating is tolerated 3.5 is aluminum won't tolerate overheating.

The 3.5 is fitted with a rubber hose cooler which degrades overtime and cause oil leak in motion if not detected early can cause damaged engine, solution is to change the rubber hose to metallic one.

The term available is
CE basic trim
LE small luxury
XLE rush luxury
Touring well loaded
Limited well loaded.

2004 to 2010 sienna has an AWD variant best to avoid such cause of cost of replacement parts.

2008 to 2012 accord is okay and solid.

The 2.0L engine should be a avoided parts for it is very expensive and scarse.

Buy one with 2.4L i4 the k24z3 is very solid and comes with timing chain.

The 3.5L V6 is solid too if you want power and speed the engine should be your choice.

LX trim is the most basic
Ex has little luxury
EX-L is the topmost trim with navigation screen included.

2007 camry was plagued with transmission wahala

2007 to 2009 had 2.4L i4 which had oil burning issues which most people are adviced to avoid just to play it safe.

2010 and 2011 had 2.5L i4 which is very good and solid no issues.

2007 to 2011 3.5L V6 is good but people would say avoid V6 because it uses more fuel than 4cylinder for same distance moved. The V6 is solid but don't let it overheat because its aluminum engine.

For the trim CE is the most basic and comes with manual transmission which is very rare to come by.

LE is luxury edition, has basic and luxury accessories for your use

SE is sports as in body and suspension doesn't mean it would be faster than LE cause they have same engine and transmission

XLE is extra added to the LE edition so it's the topmost trim with everything

GL trim I doubt if you would get that also very rare to come by but the one I have seen is loaded.

Nah, I doubt the size of the engine is the reason after all all these pure water ES330-350 all have 6 cylinder engines and people still rush them.

I think it’s something to do with the design and styling of the Avalon, Nigerians just don’t seem to really ‘feel’ it and I don’t know why even if as you rightly pointed out they hold their looks and value well into the future unlike the avalon ship that people always complain the body falls apart after some years of use.

The V6 is one of the reasons, even camry muscle majority you see on the road are 4cylinders, yes the size looks more like car person should be chauffeured in than driven by owner then the luxury offerings are not on par with lexus ES then look at the badge anything Lexus has more respect than toyota

The most important thing is that the car has been fixed, both parties are happy.

We learn everyday to be better tomorrow, technician has learned to approach solution better and car owner has gained experience in troubleshooting it's a win win for both parties.

New models are expensive sha, it's a full size luxury vehicle and with toyota reliability, they keep their value well just like Toyota Crown and lexus LS

That 2010 and 2011 avalon is expensive, it's the facelift of Avalon ship. OP should rather stick with ES350 though it's a pure water caused by yahoo boys

It's a good off roader, I will give it that, nibble to drive and quick but the cars it's related to aren't all that reliable and extremely scarce pressence on road(liberty, Cherokee and wrangler). Buy if you have competent hands for it.
