dragonking2:I said the information you want from me isnt contained in a single post, and requires me posting hundreds of screenshots, something which I woundnt be able to do and which I wouldnt be doing because you can easily go back in his profile history and check all his posts prior to the election. But since you claim you can dig up specific messages to prove your point, why dont you bring thwm on?... I'm only here to learn and possibly mediate. ![]() |
stephenduru:Lol... that particular bail condition is unrealistic. |
dragonking2: Nukualofa:Oya abeg, bring the evidence exposing him specifically attacking the Igbo nation viciously prior to 2015 elections. Cos as far as I know, pre-2015, it was just a political thing of GEJ vs Opposition; yes there would have been some tribal slurs here and there, but it was never this serious/passionate.. Until after elections and gbosa!!! Everyone went beserk and it all turned to a distasteful tribal matter. |
dragonking2:Before the elections, everyone was apprehensive, no one knew how it would swing, and everyone still had a touch of humanity in them. After the elections, frustration usually sets in, and that anger, pain and frustration usually drives the unpleasant hate filled tirades. In essence, whatever hate that existed before the election was nothing compared to the stream of hate which freely flowed after the elections to date. Before the election, it was still purely a political thing, but after the elections, it degenerated into bile-filled intertribal hatred. ...and yeah, it's an impossibility for me to post screenshots cos we talking of hundreds, if not thousands of posts highlighting the trend occuring over a period. |
omenkaLives:Lol... but try and calm down, especially on the attacks aimed at a whole tribe. Most of these guys were pyschologically ruined by events of 2015, and if they haven't recovered till date (2 years on), they're likely never going to, except God delivers them himself. But then, joining issues with them and returning fire-for-fire only reduces you to their level, especially in the eyes of spectators who have no idea of the history. |
dragonking2:I'm sorry, what you ask for is an impossibility and I would have thought you should know that. We aren't talking of a single statement, we're referring to a multitude of events and statements made over a season so I'm not sure I undwrstand what you mean by me posting a screenshot. |
Nukualofa:I specifically was referring to his new found passion for attacking almost anything Igbo. That is an unfortunate result of the barrage of meaningless attacks he endured (and still endures) from certain group of people on this forum and this trend started only after the 2015 elections. |
dragonking2:Lol... "loving chap like every other Nairalander" ![]() To set the record straight, Buhari did not mess anyone up with hate, rather it was the senseless hatred and barrage of devilish attacks he suffered post-2015 elections in the hands of a multitude of angry hate-filled psychologically battered wailing jonathanians on this forum that transformed him into what he is today. The peak of it was when he (and Benue people in general) were singled out and severely mocked and ridiculed repeatedly by some foolish jonathanian imbeciles every time the news broke of fulani herdsmen slaughtering people in Benue. They mocked and mocked and mocked him and this was all because he refused to suck up to their Jonathan. What kind of human mocks people in the height of such tragedy?... only insane losers! I personally witnessed his transition in the periods after the election from that 'loving chap' you talked about to what he is today. And like Chinua Achebe would say, when a man brings ant infested firewood home, he has indirectly invited lizards to his abode. cc: Nukualofa |
This reminds me of the Nkoyo Ibori Children referral hospital; project was built and completed, but never used for once. Heard the controversy was over Ibori's insistence on naming the hospital after his wife then. After years of abandonment, the grass overgrown centre was eventually used as hostel for repented militants waiting to collect their N65,000 stipends. If I say Delta state is cursed, somebody would attack me, so I hold my peace. |
muller101:What I read was a question, and I still cant figure out whats really unfortunate about it?... Can can someone here be kind enough to explain why so many people on this thread view that question as unfortunate or biased? |
rozayx5:What exactly is wrong with that questiin asked my Mynd?... how exactly has that simple question been interpreted by many as 'taking sides' or being biased?.... or is there something I'm missing? |
XerXers:What exactly is wrong with what he asked?... I think thats a very valid question and I'm sure I underatand why you and several others after you comprehend this from a particular point of view. |
No credible or realistic candidates in view for now... Maybe Osinbajo, Peter Obi, Fashola, SLS, Dangote etc... But whatever the case, hopefully Nigerians wouldn't be presented with the GEJ vs Buhari kakistocratic scenario again. |
stephleena:Vindicated him from what exactly?... for supervising the sharing and squandering of Nigeria's wealth and pushing the nation to the brink of recession before bailing out?.... Oh sorry I forgot!... According to Jonathanians, Jonathan left Nigeria in a Dubai state then Buhari jumped in and created recession out of the blue; my bad! |
Fraudsters everywhere... Only explanation here is that he's blatantly refused to repay. |
Nne5:2 things: 1. GEJ is the most recent ex-president who happens to have supervised the plundering of Nigeria's resources and pushed us to the brink of recession before bailing out. If we all are still free to talk about Abacha and OBJ, then kindly tell me why Nigerians should be barred from talking about GEJ? 2. A major reason GEJ's name still features frequently is cos his devastated supporters have refused to get over his 2 year old election loss and wouldn't stop talking about him / bringing up his name (directly/indirectly) in every discussion. |

netherlands:I agree with you, there's really something wrong with the kind of leaders we have in the south east and in fact, all across Nigeria. Most governors do not know the kind of powers they wield as chief executives of their respective states; most of them do not appreciate their untouchable status as leaders of federating units (States) in a federal republic. We still remember the case of the Enugu governor calling for fasting and prayers over herdsmen attack instead of setting up proper vigilantes and standing his ground. We also remember the case of the same governor begging for the release of his people arrested for defending their communities. Then most embarrassing of all is the Benue state governor, I wouldnt even want to go into his details. Another sorry case was the Chinakwe (Buhari dog guy) incarceration. Not a single southern leader, not his representative or his senator or his governor could step into the case, hence he was locked up for an undeserved period and of course what did we southerners do during the saga?... we all went online and wailed and hurled curses at Buhari and northerners for the failure of our own leaders. Meanwhile a simple phone call from his senator (Sen. Nwaoboshi) or governor Okowa would have released Chinakwe, but of course, Nwaoboshi and his Delta colleagues preferred catching the next flight to London to pop champagne and celebrate the release of Ibori.... Meanwhile in nearby Lagos, after the arrest of some Hausa hoodlums who took part in the Hausa-Yoruba clash, their senator (Kwankwaso) came down from Abuja and facilitated their release, after which he compensated them with cash sums. What again did we southerners do?... We went online, we wailed and hurled cursed at Buhari and all northerners for being 'owners of Nigeria'. |
Even with all his misdoings, you cant just help but love this man and his endless drama. ![]() Meanwhile what I see here is a case of politicization of biafra... Very soon all opposition governors and states would port too. |
So if Obama dis not support your election, was it Obama that stood under the sun all across the length and breadth of Nigeria to vote out the cankeworm party (pdp)? Sometimes I just dont understand the kind of wisdom some people poses. |
God help protect us from some of these psychotic northerners. |
Doesn't completely look like a snub, just looks like the picture caught an awkward moment. Modified: I just saw the video The lagoon oba na just NPF. |
Dangote again... This man should kuku com and buy us all... |
alignacademy:Are you Nigerian and do you live in Nigeria?.... I doubt your Nigerianness. |
alignacademy:Truth is that, even if these things weren't in the agreement, you can never sue the school and win the case. Firstly, by suing the school, millions of sheeple would twist the case and interpret it as 'you fighting God and Christianity.' You will basically be fighting against millions of gullible sheep, and such fights hardly ever ends in victory. |
kropotkin33:These bail terms are evil to say the least... |
NOETHNICITY:I think that was only a 'plan' |
omohayek:Absolutely no justification bro... The Nigerian government has absolutely no business running anything itself. |
Blue3k: ”To prevent the type of closure that happened to Abuja Airport recently, which led to loss of huge revenues by the government as well as airlines, the National Assembly has decided to end such haemorrhage and prepare ahead for the future....." ABUJA AIRPORT DOES NOT NEED A NEW RUNWAY! Rather it needs proper maintenance as is dine in reasonable countries of the world. To prevent kind of closure that happened recently at the Abuja airport, we need to imbibe a maintenance culture for once in our lives, not a new extravagant runway in an airport with relatively negligible traffic. Heathrow airport for instance has probably 1000 times more traffic than Nnamdi Azikiwe airport, but heathrow has just 2 runways. With proper air traffic management and good maintenance, 1 runway is more than sufficient for the Abuja airport and that N15billion could be used to fix other international airports in the country dying for attention. Enugu airport still has crater sized potholes, the PH airport still has no buildings. |
Rossikk:I totally concur with this.. |
Rossikk:Yeah, my point is simple, it's a general problem which isnt restricted to SE roads; irrespective of the fact that you see more threads opened daily showcasing more SE roads thhan elsewhere. But I'm sure you've been shown some examples by others which should be enough for you to understand and accept my generalisation. |
