You should know now that rumour is a citizen of Nigeria. People think anything that flashes through their minds and scream so loud 'I saw it, I saw it'. Whereas they saw nothing. We just love silly, idle beer parlour rumours and this is one of them.
Honestly I've heard a couple of people talk about the money having 2016 stamps while some others say the money was minted in 2016. But in all these, I havent seen any proof to that effect and I'm not sure what to believe anymore. I need to clarify this before making any comments on this issue.

wat zombies n buari dullard's propaganda machinery ar trying to tell nijeriyans is dat GEJ, a former president authorized dollars minted in 2016 for NIA in 2014 for use in 2015-2019 elections. is GEJ a magicianhuh only a magician can pull dat stunt except d dullard is not even in control ova his own govt.
one will begin to wonder how freshly staked dollar currencies minted in 2016 finds its way into osbone towers right under buari's nose in 2017.
well, den if GEJ a former president can control an agency like National Intelligence Agency (NIA is senior brother to DSS) dat is under d DIRECT CONTROL of d president, who is d current president of nijeriyahuh

word of advice for zombies, d more they try to spin d real story about $50 million ikoyi loot, d more they make buari dullard look more GROSSLY incompetent.

ikoyi $50 million loot (monies shipped into ikoyi towers btw 2016 n 2017) is a hatched job comprising top members of buari's govt. later they will be shouting tsa.
ar security agencies no longer under d much propagandized tsa regime of buari dullardhuh
This issue of 2016 stamps on the Ikoyi dollars has been mentioned and repeated severally. Please how did this originate?... Is there any close shot of the recovered dollars that exposed this detail?

When was SGF accused of grass cutting?
When was SGF indicted by the Senate?
Did Buhari not clear him of any wrong doing initially?
Why did it take so long to suspend him?

That Buhari didn't attend the last meeting and the one today was cancelled points to one thing, Buhari is sick and unfit to discharge the responsibilities of his office.
That is not the point, the wailing spirit in you keeps driving you and your ilk to conjure meaningless inconsequential theories. And just like the dude above pointed out, all what you wrote above is just pointless ranting.

Of course Buhari is ill and everyone knows that, but opening a thread and claiming SGF was suspended today to divert attention from the ill president, c'mon! you must be more mature than that.

“Unfortunately for them this time around, Nigerians have become tired of watching the Federal Government movies, they now want reality
" - Ayodele Fayose, January 2016

Last week, president Buhari was absent from the FEC meeting and coincidentally, EFCC discovered 43 million dollars and other amounts in various currencies in a flat in Ikoyi. This discovery took over the blogosphere and all media attention was focused on the discovery with the result that nobody remembered Buhari was absent from the FEC meeting.

Fast forward to today, Wednesday the 19th of April 2017, Buhari cancelled the weekly FEC meeting and chose to on this day announce the suspension of Babachir Lawal who had been accused of "grasscuting" fraud eons ago and the DG NIA fingered in the Ikoyi discovery and again everybody as well as the media are now focused on the suspensions and nobody remembers FEC meeting did not hold today.

Is the government playing chess with Nigerians putting out distractions from the real issue which is the fitness of the president to preside effectively over Nigeria? Only time will tell.
This wailing has been taken to a ridiculous level... The latest phase now involves concocting nonsense conspiracy theories for every occurrence. Money was found in house in Ikoyi, you term it distraction; now SGF is suspended and again you term it diversion to mask the cancelled FEC meeting. And what exactly would be the benefit of masking the cancelled meeting?... I'm sure another childish theory would be concocted again to answer that.

EducationRe: 10 Common Words Nigerians Use Everyday That Don't Exist by obailala(m): 8:17am On Apr 19, 2017
ngoremeka:
Many people speak English as their first language. It is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world.
Nigerians are very good at a number of things and one of them is inventing their own version of English which has become popular overtime.
Some of the words and phrases we use often cannot be found in the dictionary. Some are words you picked up from others and they have become quite a norm.
It is not only the uneducated folks that are guilty of using these wrong words as the very educated Nigerians also use the English language inappropriately.
Below are words Nigerians use that don’t exist in the English dictionary.
1. Go-slow: When Nigerians say go-slow, they mean congested traffic, which is wrong. The meaning of go-slow in the English dictionary is, a form of industrial action in which work or progress is deliberately delayed or slowed down.
2. Disvirgin: This word is used on a daily basis by many Nigerians when they intend to say a woman has lost her virginity. There is no word like disvirgin. The correct word to use is deflower. Disvirgin simply does not exist.
3. Trafficate: Nigerians use the word to describe a situation where a driver indicates to other drivers that he/she wants to take a turn. It is used so often, that it has started to sound like proper English.
4. Flashing: Every Nigerian knows “flashing” to mean when someone calls your mobile phone and cuts off before you answer. The word ‘flash’ is so common among Nigerians and its used at least once daily by many. Flash has different meanings but none has anything to do with a phone call. The word doesn’t exist in that sense in English.
5. Installmentally: Don’t be tempted to use the word ‘installmentally’. Though it sounds correct, it isn’t. There is no such word in the English dictionary as it exists only in the Nigerian edition of English language. The correct thing to say is ‘in installments’.
6. Opportuned: What exists in English dictionaries is ‘opportune,’ without ‘d’ at the end. Opportune means ‘timely’ or ‘well-time, especially convenient or appropriate for a particular action or event. Opportuned is only common in Nigerian English.
7. Cunny: This is a word which Nigerians use to describe someone that is being deceitful or crafty. The right word is cunning not cunny.
8. Next tomorrow: Most Nigerians generally use “next tomorrow” but there is not such word as next tomorrow. Instead you should say, “a day after tomorrow."
9. Packer: Nigerians probably got the word from pack. The right word is dustpan. Since dustpan packs dirt, Nigerians like to call it packer.
10. Pepperish: It is common to hear Nigerians describe a meal that has too much pepper in it as pepperish. The proper word should be ‘peppery’. No native English speaker uses the word pepperish” to describe the burning sensation we feel from eating pepper.
Which of these words are you guilty of?
Not too late to learn something new,I learnt too.. you can add other mistakes below
New words enter into the dictionary everyday. These words are already very common in Nigerian circles and I see no reason why anyone should tell me they are wrong. When new words like these are commonly used in other English speaking parts of the world, they are eventually infused into the latest edition of various English dictionaries; so I see no reason why Nigerians have to be worried over the use of these new words, except of course we believe the story that we are inferior and should have no rights to contribute new words to English language.

Lagos state is an Apc state so there's no reason why some one who is from another party would save such a money bag in that state. You claimed above that Nigerians are gullible, and then you went ahead to completely swallow the words of Fayose/FFK as the holy truth even though not a single shred of evidence was produced to support the claim. All that is needed for the north to lose power is for a candidate to emerge who is loved in the southwest, southsouth, southeast and some parts of the middle belt locations. That is all GEJ needed to win a landslide in 2011.

IPOB is popular because they have demonstrated focus, zeal and isolated themselves from zoo politics in the quest for Biafra restoration. So stop using the buhari hatred stuff as a defence.
Ipob received 98% of its followership post 2015 elections; that isnt something which is even debatable... As for massob, there was never anything popular about them, even with the massive rise of the ipob, massob only still receives little regard today.

it is me explorer... a son of the soil from afam obigbo LGA rivers state. Greetings to my brothers in the east, south s and north.

I am not here to condemn the activities of ipob,I am a fanatic supporter, but I am here to call for a change of strategy.

considering the killings and the little impact that that the ipob protest has made I think it is time for us to go back to the drawing board and restrategize.
We all know that the buhari led federal government is eager to continue to spill ipob blood whenever there is a protest, I think it will be of great benefit for us to stop these protest and venture into politics.

since ipob already has massive followers and strong media won't it be wise for us to form a political party that will unite us all into one umbrella, take power away from this current crop of politicians that do not gave our interest at heart and push our agenda legitimately.

If people like obiano, ikpeazu etc can allow the army to spill Igbo blood in Igbo land don't we think it is time for us to take away power from these set of people and control our own destinies. our voices will be better heard if all the south east and south south governors, senators, reps etc excluding Edo, speak with one voice under one party.

We should not forget that Scotland didn't get her referendum by protest alone but mainly by pushing their agenda through the Scottish party that is an umbrella for the Scottish people.

umu nne m ele ihe unu chere?

my brothers your opinions are welcomed! let's discuss
Truth is, even with all it's popularity today, if IPOB is converted to a political party, it wouldnt even win an election in the SE against PDP or APGA. You should know that the only strength ipob wields today is a function of the collective hatred of a common enemy (buhari) in the SE. When it comes to an election involving SE vs SE, ipob party stands no chance against pdp or apga; just imagine a new party fronting a candidate to face Obiano headlong? No chance!

PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Minister Owns $43m EFCC Found In Lagos – Mike Ozekhome by obailala(m): 5:23pm On Apr 15, 2017
sarrki:
Constitutional lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, SAN, says the millions of Dollars, Pounds and Naira, found in an apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos, among other discoveries were meant to divert attention from the hunger, squalor, fear, disease, non-performance and cluelessness of APC government, adding a “serving Minister” owns the money.
He added that the recent developments are ploy to making sure that Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, remains in charge of the agency.

The human rights activist made the claim in a statement yesterday where he said that “the farcical story that National Intelligence Agency NIA, Nigeria’s external secret Police has claimed ownership of the sum of $43.4m, £27, 800 and N23.2m is total hogwash, bunkum and balderdash.

The discovery has generated controversy and finger-pointing, with former governor of Rivers State now Transport Minister being accused of owning the cash.

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has also weighed in, insisting that Amaechi come clean on the matter.

Ozekhome, in his statement, said, “Let this government and its minions credit Nigerians with some modicum of sense and capacity to reason, even with their valiant attempts to cow, browbeat and intimidate all opposition elements and critical voices in their so called corruption war.

“At least, not even the terror halo cast on our individual and collective psyche has dulled our analytical minds.

“The entire theatricality and Baba Sala’s Alawada Kerikeri buffoonery ought to be reserved for some circus show at the National Theatre or Trafalgar Square, where comedians and humour merchants entertain.

“The emergent facts do not show NIA’s ownership of the money, but grand cover-up of a serving minister’s ownership of the money.

“It is so, so sad that all these national diversions are simply geared towards highlighting and emphasizing the omnipotence and indispensability of just one man, Ibrahim Magu, as Executive Chairman of the EFCC. We should build strong institutions, not strong individuals.

“Before Ibrahim Magu, there was a Nuhu Ribadu; there was a Mrs Waziri: and there was an Ibrahim Lamorde. After Magu, there would still be another EFCC Executive Chairman.

“All these so-called humongous recoveries of orphaned monies are simply geared towards showcasing ineffable efficiency, effectiveness and matchless proficiency.

“It simply doesn’t work that way. In the USA, wherefrom we borrowed our presidentialism, the equivalent agency works silently behind the scene, only seen, but never heard, except where it becomes absolutely necessary.

“But, here in Nigeria, the EFCC engages in grotesque media trial, hifalutin and shocking disclosures of orphaned monies whose destinations after the media hype are never known.

“Where are all the alleged recoveries of are vast sums, attached properties, etc, made by the EFCC, kept and how much are they?

“When asked this question by the Senate during screening, Magu told a shocked and bewildered Nation he did not know!

“We seem now fixated to name, shame and humiliate Nigerians with the paint brush of shame, odium, obloquy and denigration.

“How can about N15 billion be found in highbrow Osborne Road, Ikoyi, by no means a back squalid street?

“How can a foreign arm of the Nigerian secret Police, the equivalent of CIA, keep such hard currency in cash at an unguarded apartment, tucked away with many other apartments in a block of flats, not in a separate heavily fortified and fiercely guarded stand -alone building that has “keep off” carefully imprinted on it?

“What was it meant for and who approved it and in which budget?

“Who was the whistle blower that could identify that such money was “hidden” in the bedroom in flat 7A, leaving out flat 7B, yet not knowing who kept the money there or its ownership?

“Why was EFCC not pictured or videotaped going into the apartment, before we suddenly saw an arranged “counting” of money?

“Is there no CCTV in such a highbrow wealthy society members abode?

“Can we see the footages please? Only last week, N49m orphaned sum was “arrested” at Kaduna Airport!

“Then, suddenly another sum of orphaned N448m was “discovered” in an ownerless shop in Victoria Island.

“Who owned the plaza? Who sold there? Are there no CCTV there? Can we see them please?

“The truth is that all these simulated ‘arrangee’ discoveries can only temporarily divert attention from the hunger, squalor, fear, disease, not performance and cluelessness of this government.

“But, unfortunately, even lies have their expiry date. Truth is inexorable, immutable and eternal.

“The chicken will finally come home to roosthe
