cockoduck:I never said they started recently, Massob has been here since forever but even you, did you take them seriously before 2015 April?... I have already laid my claim and have signed out of the case. You mentioned that I hated NK, I told you what exactly I didnt like about him, being the way he has succeeded in turning the heads of a multitude of Igbo youths upside down, making even some educated adults to reason like infants and generally bringing ridicule and more hatred to Igbos all over. I just gave you video evidence of one of his heresies and your only response is that I sound like his ex-girl?... For a person with the sociopathic tendencies of Kanu, you expect me to waste my time calling such people to say what exactly?... The pathetic argument and reasoning of most of his die-hard adherents on this forum alone is enough to inform any sensible person of the futility of trying to speak any sense into them; even the elder and most of the other people in the video I posted tried to speak sense into his skull but we all know the result. |
blueto:Maybe you can kindly return the oil price to above $100 as it was during GEJ's time, you should also consider returning the over $42billion reserves and the $20billion ECA which GEJ met and squandered; when you do that and the economy still remains in tatters, then you can be justified to make the above statement you just made. |
cockoduck:I'm glad that at least you aren't one of those who would swallow this heresy 'simply because NK says so.' My dislike for NK is simply because of the way he jumped out of nowhere and was able to successfully destroy irreparably, the psyche of most Igbo youths. I never believed in or maybe I underestimated the power of brainwashing, especially when the people involved are enlightened southerners; but NK totally proved me wrong with his diabolic success. Meanwhile here's the video evidence you asked for; to save yourself the time and data, just forward to 30:25 to hear a question from an Igbo elder filled with wisdom, and then fast forward to 34:30 to hear the exact wonderful response from your Mazi Kanu. Alternatively you can just watch from 30:25 to 36:03 to get the full picture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fPQOPEH-0Y?t=30m25s |
cockoduck:Nope, radio Biafra did not start after the election, but no reasonable person took them seriously before the election or even cared about its existence. It was only after the election that both educated and uneducated and supposedly enlightened and unenlightened people started taking RB serious and swallowing all that was churned out of it as fact. I remember vividly when Kanu narrated that Hausas and Yorubas were responsible for planting the kind of leaders we have in the SE. He even claimed at a point that when they (Hausa/Yoruba) saw Ngige was beginning to do extremely well as a governor, they quickly conspired to remove him and replace him with Obi Meanwhile I remember the same Ngige also contested several other elections but was rejected flatly with statements like "ono na parti ndi yoruba." How Kanu was able to spin that narrative around in 2015 to fit into his own new narrative is what I still find shocking; what I find most shocking however is how people (both educated/uneducated/enlightened/unenlightened) swallow these heresies and regurgitate them as facts. |
CHANNELStv2020:Something I have noticed about the loudest separatists is that their arguments always expose them to be the bottom of the pack in terms of wisdom and common sense. Dangote, a private individual decides to build a power plant in his state and someone thinks this is a sound reason or justification to want to balkanise the country. Where are all the big big SE business men?... aka ogbajiri ha iru power plant? You really need this.. ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/4011850_4004457asoldierwithawhippursuingsomebodyusethisgififyouseeauselesspostjpegfaabe749e08592f59893225a6876e150_jpegc87acb7de2d76a8992e7642d98ce3945 |
cockoduck:The only thing that has changed is that the mentality of most youths has been irreparably damaged by charlatans especially since the last elections. Else I doubt any sound mind would make the kind of claim you just made. As much as some may claim it's only a joke, the sad thing is that most SE youths truly believe what you've just said above and actually now think the way you do; thanks to Kanu who lectured you and your ilk that it is Hausa and Yoruba that install all the governors and senators and representatives and LGA chairmen and councillors in the SE, from Obiano to Chime to TA Orji to Rochas to Ekweremmadu. Kanu suddenly claims that Igbos are tormented slaves who have never been able to select their own leaders, and here we are today, lots of youths (both educated and uneducated and enlightened and unenlightened) swallow the trash and configure their brains and mindset to believe such silly heresy. Congratulations, you are free to keep accepting that you are a slave who can only live/survive/thrive only when the name of the country changes. It would be interesting to know exactly how far this mindset takes you. |
Lol... And the story keeps getting more and more absurd... Even olympic medals now used for politics. ![]() |
jamesibor: Somehow I just knew it was only a matter of time before Buhari would scratch some of the blame in this ![]() |
Mbakwe left very large shoes which are almost impossible for any normal present day politician to fill. Shame on all SE politicians for not even trying. Mbakwe's legacy totally rubbishes the argument and ideology of the present day separatists who believe (or who have been schooled to believe) that there can't be development without prior political separation from other major tribes. A review of Mbakwe's legacy exposes present day SE leaders for what they truly are - the real problem. |
kgr8mike:Maybe it could be that members of his church are just enlightened enough to know that the current state of things in the country is inevitable and has nothing to do with Buhari's performance or non-performance. So yeah, unlike the intentionally and unintentionally unreasonable people all over the place lamenting and cursing as if it makes their lives any better, maybe his church members are reasonable people; how avout that? |
grossintel:Is it buhari that arrested the man?... I suppose buhari is also the one on the streets collecting N20 from bus drivers? |
A lot of people just have a total disregard for their lives. How can anyone in their right senses go for a 4some with a ho without tripling the rubber? ![]() |
ajokebelle: abdulaz:I thought I was the only one that saw the wife's shirt, 1971! Bros is full of years |
12Monkeys: S6un: OLADD:Spewing all these simply because Omojuwa weighed both candidates and chose a Buhari over your Jonathan?.... So because he chose a Buhari over a Jonathan, he no longer has a right to be a Nigerian who can criticise the government?.. Smh! You guys should wake up from this your perpetual election loss trauma and be objective for once please! |
This has to be the most bizarre thing I've seen in a long while. ![]() |
Love is a beautiful thing... One day it will be found. ![]() |
vivalavida: ![]() Modified: On a serious note, isn't it the height of stupidity for anyone (especially those who supported and are shamelessly still supporting Jonathan) to blame Rochas or the present FG for the horrible state of federal roads in Imo state and the rest of the south east? Just when you think their ignorance and pettiness can't get more absurd, they jump in with a brand new level. It defies all sound logic that the very people praying for the perpetuation of the ineffectual past administration can be this shamelessly bold to actually shift the blames of the failures of their hero to a state governor. Tufiakwa! |
I was going to say "Dalung must be high on his usual burukutu" for saying this, but then I saw the source of the story, Trentonline Still convinced that Dalung must be high, I googled other sources of this story and my search only returned IgbereTv ![]() Mscheew! |
Zoharariel:This man obviously did not read the report, I doubt he even has a clue about the history of the Ajaokuta impasse, the legal tussles and all. But within the limits of his wisdom, he has just jumped in to insult his fathers as 'brain dead fools.' Tufiakwa! |
I swear, just seeing that picture of the man gulping that glass of beer got me thirsty ![]() |
ehie:Not enough reason to evade tax though, especially when you are a public figure. Tomorrow if he wants to contest for a public position and someone calls for his disqualification due to tax evasion, he would start appealing to the gullibility and ignorance of the populace claiming that he's being persecuted by his political opponents (some may even add that he's persecuted because of his tribe). |
Still lucky that its a small chicken change. In developed countries, they wouldnt only seize your company or ask you to pay, you would actually be charged to court and imprisoned for tax evasion. |
Ngokafor:Hahaha.. Like I said earlier, the one who was beaten by the stone has already beaten your oga; and guess what? He is your president till 2019. |
Ngokafor:Haha.. I suppose that cry me a river was meant for u and ur colleagues?.... Meanwhile its only a "retarded,gullible,narrow-minded,half-wits and mentally unstable fool" that really thinks buhari is the reason behind the present economic downturn and inflation. May I even remind you that the so called Buhari who was defeated by the stone, that same Buhari won your gej with several millions of votes and he will still deal with your gej if they are pitched together again. May I also remind you that cyberspace is presently littered with disgruntled jonathanians especially as those who put buhari in power are presently having a break. But that still hasnt made your gej to win the poll put up by the Op. That should tell you that even despite the current hardship, Nigerians arent still so stupid to vote back a GEJ. |
Ngokafor:What you fail to realise is that the same inanimate stone would have also thrashed GEJ with an even wider margin, don't get it twisted. ![]() Buhari may be bleeping up presently, but GEJ? Tufiakwa! Only stark illiterates (educated/non-educated) and ignoramuses would stand on a queue to re-vote GEJ even after the further revelations. |
Lots of technological talents and craftsmanship needs to be encouraged to make Nigeria a producing/manufacturing nation instead of a perpetual consumer. Most of the things we import from china can actually be produced in Nigeria if people like this young man can be supported. |
Lai Mo has always been a clown; I remember the ministerial screening episodes. ![]() |
Coming from the very same set of people who have stopped at nothing to accuse the present government of throwing only blames, I find this their attempt at blame passing to be the lamest. Governors prevented president from saving? Wonderful! Even if the governors decided to take their share of the ECA away from the already pilfering FG's custody, the last time I checked, the FG still retained more than half (52%) of those funds as its own share. So after governors took their share away, did the governors also charm the FG of GEJ and NOI into squandering their own share? The last time I checked again, over 70% of the governors were PDP at the time, and I doubt just the head of the governor's forum would be able to take a decision without the support of his peers who were mainly from the same PDP. In summary, this is a very dumb defence and a very lame attempt at buck passing. |
legendte:I agree Buhari has shown unbelievable immaturity in the way he's reciprocating the passionate 'love' most Igbos have for him; however besides appointments, I am yet to be convinced of this alleged hatred in terms of developmental projects, be it from the 80's or in the recent dispensation. |
$1billion.. hmmm Transcorp should consider using that money for an alternative source of power; a solar farms or a coal plant somewhere where people wouldn't walk in and blow it up. |
Is the N5m gross or is it net? This is one question I doubt we ever ask in Nigeria. Railways and trains require a massive amount of routine maintenance. Whilst declaring that N5m has been made, has daily operational and maintenance costs been subtracted?... Have railway personnel been paid?.... Or would government continue to supply cash for operations and maintenance and salaries of railway staff from the budget? I've said it before, railway business should be business to make profit and even revenue for government; government should hands off the managing of these railways for private investors if the railway initiative must survive. Many might find this comment strange, but I think the N500 fare for Abuja to Kaduna route is too cheap for a high speed comfortable train service. The subsidized fare is just a political move which will most likely end in disaster like every other government/public enterprise. Just like our dead refineries, instead of making profits for government, the trains will become government liability instead of assets. Train transport is not cheaper than road transportation in the developed world where things work. In the UK for instance, inter-city train travel is even more expensive than travelling by flight. Government should look for a way to privatise these new rails so investors who can manage them efficiently would be in charge. My 2 kobo |
