theshadyexpress:I have said exactly the same thing from my first comment down to this one, I never said there was no groundwork and I never lied about anything. It is not my fault that your comprehension abilities have been beclouded by emotions, I feel sorry for you. |
theshadyexpress:A bridge which was meant to have been completed before 2015 was still at an infant stage of construction as at handover in mid-2015. Femi describes the project as still being in the 'architectural design stages.' Femi (just like everyone else) obviously must have seen pictures of the construction even before he made his statement; if you have even the most basic secondary school education, you would have understood his statement to be a hyperbole or a figurative statement. Unfortunately, I do not know your level of education or understanding, hence you couldn't understand what I meant. Go and enjoy your Friday, but next time, learn to discern comments before you jump into hasty conclusions. |
Guyman02:Bro, attend to the issue at hand and stop beating about the bush. How does the transfer of the maritime university project from Okerenkoko (niger delta) to Oron (niger delta) amount to northern agenda?... I'm not ready for all these needless paranoid theories, justify your allegations that this move is a northern agenda and stop using every single issue and thread on Nairaland as an avenue for continuous nagging about a northern Buhari being the president. Which biggest flyover did jonathan build in kano?... Is that also part of the heresies they preached to you in that radio station?.... And even if Jonathan builds a flyover in kano, what's wrong with that?.... Was jonathan not the president of the entire Nigeria?... And by the way, who told you Buhari is cancelling the 2nd Niger bridge?... Did you not listen to the first address by his minister for works that important ongoing projects like the 2nd niger bridge and Lagos-Ibadan expressway would be given first priority?... Obviously your paranoia and prejudiced views did not allow you to see or hear that. Kaduna is home of the 1st Division of the Nigerian army and somehow, most military training institutes are in Kaduna. Just the same way those institutes are not situated in Abia like you claim, that is the same way those institutes are not located in the other 34 states and 5 zones of Nigeria. Regarding the civil war, I suggest you go ask Gowon why he did nothing to rebuild the SE, Buhari was not the president then and I see no reason why you want to hang Buhari today for something that happened decades ago when he was a nobody. About a refinery in Kaduna, there is nothing wrong with that as long as Kaduna remains a part of Nigeria. It aids in distribution of refined petroleum products in the northern parts of the country even as the other 3 refineries (Warri and PHx2) supply the needs of the southern regions. There is no law that says a refinery must be sited in every state that has oil. Besides, Bayelsa was part of Rivers state as at the time 2 refineries were built there. If you think the refinery in Kaduna is out of place, why do we have 2 refineries in Rivers state when Akwa Ibom which produces the highest oil today has none?... Regarding the unfortunate cancellation of the maritime university, it would be nice if that wasn't the case; the FG should have upgraded the Oron institute, and also still continued with the new uni at Okerenkoko. However, they have claimed there is lack of funds to continue, hence the cheaper option of just upgrading Oron. This does not in any way seem like a northern agenda to me. One thing you need to understand is that Buhari is the president of Nigeria today and he wouldn't be president forever. If you hate him so bad, why don't you come up with smarter arguments to convince people to vote him out in 2019 instead of continuously churning out all these unfounded, irrational and emotionally driven accusations and nagging like a woman on a daily basis? |
Guyman02:From what I thought I read initially, the plan was to upgrade the institute at Oron to university standard and the excuse given was lack of 'funds' to establish a brand new uni in Delta state. What I do not understand however is how or why some have termed this a northern agenda. Some have even claimed they want to move the uni to the north and Amaechi (who should be defending the Niger Delta interests) is a party to this decision. The last time I checked, Oron is also in the Niger Delta and as we speak, the people of Oron must be celebrating this news. The best would have been to upgrade the Oron institute and also continue with the one in Delta, but what I can't understand is how this purely Niger Delta issue has been sensationalised to be northern agenda. |
[Goodluck Jonathan] sometime in 2011 said that he would complete that second Niger bridge before 2015@theshadyexpress For a bridge that was to be completed before 2015, does that look like a completed bridge?.... A man waits till election period and then starts construction of a bridge which was meant to have been completed before 2015. Of course it is the typical tradition of all Nigerian leaders to hoodwink Igbos during elections with 2nd Niger bridge. And yes, there's nothing wrong with the 'architectural phase' comment, it was a simple hyperbole and anyone with a brain should understand that. "Adesina also said the second Niger Bridge was included in the 2016 Budget which we have found to be a lie."Has the author of this statement seen the breakdown of the ministry of works budget to confirm that it's a lie?... Or probably he must be inside Fashola's head. All these PDPians and Jonathanians keep foaming in the mouth on a daily basis, these guys are obviously still yet to recover from their monumental loss. 2023 is still a long time people, save the wailing for the rainy day ![]() |
With the hatred and death threats Kanu has sent to Rochas, only an idiot would be expecting Rochas to love Kanu. Hate is reciprical! |
coolzeal:Who was the technocrat?... Your lord and saviour GEj?... bros park well. |
Guyman02:I thought the plan is to relocate it to Oron where there are already some structures?... is Oron in the north?.... Do we even have a river in the north were a maritime institute can be established close to? |
These jonathanians are so full of energy. Much ado about nothing. I thought the project was meant to be moved to Oron?.... Is Oron in the north? What excuse did the FG give for scrapping the university? |
This is evil ![]() |
udmbat: Txonyi: ozoigbondu:The planned poultry is actually much larger than what the report says, the report only talks of the first phase. If only more states can do things like this instead of lazily waiting for allocation from Abuja. I keep saying Nigeria has absolutely no reason to be a poor underdeveloped country. Meanwhile some governors are busy cutting kpomo on the roadside and taking pictures. |
akinsbaba2015:Bros na play i dey play... what is your definition of propaganda? |
APCcrimesHD:But have you noticed the people he committed these sins against in the SW are not complaining?... Somehow they believe he has benefited them. So which sin exactly are you talking about?.... In my opinion, his biggest sin is the massive role he played in the removal of the shoeless one from Aso Rock; the people who are angry with him are mainly people of the SS and SE; especially people from the SE. Does he really owe these people an apology? |
What kind of poultry would cost N15Billion? Modified: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/n13bn-investment-in-poultry-farming-coming-for-anambra/ Obviously the poultry is much larger than the report says. We definitely need more of this and I see no reason why every single state of the federation cannot do something like this. Some governors are working while others are lazily waiting for feeding bottle allocation from Abuja. Also, some other governors are busy cutting kpomo on the streets, taking pictures and getting hailed, while citizens of some states with 'ghost' governors are attacking Buhari and everyone else for their age long woes. Hopefully we would all wake up one day. cc: lovings, Viktor1983, APCcrimesHD |
APCcrimesHD: Emekamex:Chaii.. see doomsday prophets and interpreters wishing pestilence on their own country all because their preferred presidential candidate lost an election. God pass all of una, tufia! @OhiGentle The meaning of your dream is simple, can you compare the speed of a man on foot to the speed of a man riding in a prado jeep?.... After falling in the race (2011 election), a prado jeep was brought for him (APC amalgamation). People started leaving the stadium because it was obvious that the race had ended and the winner sure (the people leaving the stadium are PDP supporters and stalwarts, some left to join APC, some left to join IPOB ). There was no need for your dream to continue because the winner of the race was already decided by the introduction of a 3.0L turbodiesel 4x4 SUV. The result of that race was announced on the 31st of March and even Elder Orubebe yelled "WE WILL NOT TAKE IT!!! ![]() |
emmygzy:Okay fine, Buhari is not a man of integrity (if this will make you feel any better). But then it is common sense, he had to say what he had to say in order to win an election. No nation in this world is ruled by saints. |
This man's hands should be cut off, both hands. ![]() |
APCcrimesHD:When last did you see Tinubu talk or make noise in public?... He is presently paying penance for his sins. ANd yeah, Buhari can leave any time, but for now he's the oga at the top. |
emmygzy:The administration is less than one year old, so take a chill pill or do the needful. By the way, the trillions generated by your shoeless hero during oil boom, apart from the yam eating goats who kept duping him, who did it benefit?... It didnt even benefit your sorry self. Wail on bro... Yes APC is scam and dont worry, 2023 is just around the corner. |
ourchoice:I totally endorse a partial fight instead of a zero fight. Nigeria cannot continue to go on without doing anything. Don't worry, with sufficient time, the war on corruption will cease from being the unfair witch hunt which you perceive it to be. When all PDP witches are brought to book, I can assure you based on logical principle that the dog (EFCC) will then turn on its own master when there's no more food. By the way, witch hunting or whatever you call it, the fact remains that it is only witches that can be witch hunted and at my last check, witches aren't good for our society. If we can't get rid of ALL witches, I don't think it's a bad idea to get rid of SOME. And if you understand the dynamics of politics and leadership, you would understand how difficult (if not impossible) and self-destructive it would be for PMB to at this early stages, start attacking the pillars of his own administration even when he hasn't cleared the witches on the other camp. |
APCcrimesHD:Tinubu has already pledged allegiance to Buhari in their secret chambers. Even helping to promote Buhari's ministry is enough evidence of his loyalty. As a sinner, I do not have to mount a podium to confess my sins for God to forgive me, I can pray for forgiveness in my inner chambers. ![]() |
Did the government ever say they will pay unemployed youths? Have they finished paying the 'poorest and most vulnerable' (whatever that means) which they actually promised to pay? |
The winners of 1985 get N2m each after 30 years The winners of 2015 get N20k (according to trentonline); I suppose 2015 winners will get their proper gift of N2m in 2045 ![]() |
APCcrimesHD:It is not scam, it is common sense, it is human behaviour and it is even divinely sanctioned common sense. Even Jesus Christ himself while on the cross forgave the criminal who pledged allegiance to him at the last minute; if you are expecting PMB or APC to probe itself, you must be living in dreamland. If PDP did the needful and investigated landlords like Tinubu and some other APC miscreants, Nigeria would have been rid of 50% of corruption by now and with APC winning in 2015, our government would have been occupied by saints even whilst they sweep away the crooks in PDP. Unfortunately PDP has to wait for its next turn to do the needful which they criminally failed to do for 16 years. |
ourchoice:Guy, you are a loser, haven't you realised that yet?... It's 2016 bro, it's been almost a year since you lost, there are certain perks you are bound to lose when you lose. If GEJ and his PDP musketeers had done the needful and arrested people like Tinubu and co, by now the fight against corruption would have been at least 50% completed even as PMB comes in to wipe the dirt in PDP. Even Jesus Christ himself while on the cross forgave the criminal who pledged allegiance to him at the last minute; if you are expecting PMB or APC to probe itself, you are a joker. You had your chance but you preferred to loot, wine and dine and even fraternise with your opposition. |
APCcrimesHD:Firstly, it is not a crime to own a house in Dubai. It is only a crime if you stole national yams to acquire the house. Secondly, if you are expecting APC government to genuinely go and start arresting its members, you are living in dreamland, "dog no dey chop dog." It was the duty of the PDP led government to sanitize the polity by ridding us of the criminal politicians, it is only common sense to expect PDP to have started and concentrated on the opposition. If PDP had done the needful then, we would have had purely saints in government today, and with APC winning in 2015, the criminals in PDP would have been exterminated and Nigeria and Nigerians would be the beneficiaries. APC is presently doing the needful, so sit back and relax. MAybe in some decades from now, PDP may return and do the needful. |
APCcrimesHD:Not doubting that APC guys dont have houses, but why dont you point them out? |
KMJY:It would have been for the betterment of Nigeria and NIgerians; GEJ not arresting Lai and co was a crime against the Nigerian state and Nigerians (that's even if there was any crime to arrest them for). |
Lobolintin:For the PDP government of 16 years not to arrest, prosecute and recover our yams from the APC thieves, that on its own is a heinous crime against Nigerians and against humanity. Next time after they endure the humiliation, they would learn to do the right thing. Also these treatments meted out to these men would serve as a deterrent to others (both within APC and PDP) not to swallow collective yams of Nigerians. rozayx5:Go and arrest them now.... Why didnt Jonathan and all previous PDP leaderships arrest them?... At least we know Fashola was never in the PDP. But now you want a dog to eat a dog? |
Chinaimporter:You happen to be the one complaining here, the statement of the minister doesnt sound like a complaint. |
cktheluckyman:Can you kindly shut you mouth and stop spewing stinking ignorance. Between November 2014 and May 2015, the naira fell from 170 to 220 on the parallel market. Meanwhile oil still sold above $60 through this period. Anyway, no point responding to a bitter troll. |
Rose2014:The last time I checked, it was only GEJ and NOI that borrowed to pay salaries early 2015. Deal with that! ![]() |
