Farnsworth:Frustrated jonathanian spotted... Your frustration shall continue till 2019 and even beyond. Only you can change it by disabusing your mind. |
Whatever the shortcomings of PMB are, it is still not enough to change the stance of any reasonable person who voted for him (except of course the person didnt know why they voted him in the first place). Removing a disastrous Jonathan and a cancerous 16years of PDP was a task that needed to be done and I thank God it came to pass. GEJ's government enjoyed a massive oil income boom for close to 5 years but national wealth was squandered recklessly within this period to the point where even the FG had to borrow to pay salaries within 2 months of the oil price crash. I would not want to imagine what would have been of Nigeria if that administration continued till now cos I cannot imagine how a government which couldnt manage plenty can survive in a famine; oh yes, Nigeria is going through a famine presently and only a dunce would attribute that to Buhari's leadership. |
The N5000 is a silly campaign promise which cannot and should not be fulfilled. If the FG thinks it wants to prove 'integrity' by trying to fulfill this silly promise, then it's a recipe for disaster. |
This is serious, in fact adonbilivit!... 2 pages already filled with people trying to be too smart for themselves with the simplest question in the world and this is how smart eficos fail even while the not-too-smart move forward in life. For crying out loud, 1+1 = 2 and in an interview, I would say this with confidence, laugh it off and ask the interviewer what other answer he needs. |
IGBOSON1:You should be ashamed of yourself for admitting you dont have the basic wisdom to excel politically, you are afraid you will be outsmarted by your mates, hence you want to run away and be on your own with minorities who you think you can outsmart or lord over. That in my opinion is exactly what this whole Biafran shenanigan is all about; running away because you feel outsmarted. It's a shame that Igbos have been reduced to this pitiable mess. |
Lol... These jonathanians will soon cry themselves to the a cardiac arrest..... Dont worry guys, 2019 is 3.5 years from now, after which your weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth will most certainly be renewed. Some confused ones have since realised how torturous their wail road would be till 2019 (and beyond), hence they have joined the nnamdi kanu bandwagon to call |
divinehand2003:Why is Edo state not included?... is this a form of discrimination or what? |
Afam4eva:Afam, don't bother yourself. The people championing this cause, including the educated ones have had their reasoning abilities completely obliterated by election loss hangover. There's no way you can expect these people to reason normally when their brains are already completely fried by Nnamdi Kanu propaganda and hate preaching. |
DONSMITH123:Serious confessional statements ![]() But at the end of the day, we all know how this typically ends. As long as they hide and keep hiding the identities of the crooks involved, these crooks who already have strong links with government officials will always find a way to escape arrest or prosecution. The best thing the NAVY can just do is to tell us their names now before a natural death comes to this case. |
Splashme:Are you aware that if he disappoints his fans as you so wish and pray for, you and your family will also suffer the consequences equally?.... The kind of folly existing in Nigeria presently is amazing! |
elmisti:Nigeria isn't living up to 10% of its full potentials, I totally appreciate that. But I find it rather appalling when I see supposedly educated and enlightened people who should know better, making some strange analysis and adjudging a government which is still in the transitioning phase as a failure based on the most silly arguments. |
elmisti:Here you go with your source below. I hope you can see the downward trend line? www.nairaland.com/attachments/3120761_nigeriagdpgrowthannualforecast_png7bcd23fc337e90b7d2f7cee256a15425 http://www.tradingeconomics.com/nigeria/gdp-growth-annual If we must argue on anything about the state of the nations economy, we have to be reasonable about it instead of just making conclusions based on what I term 'okada-man' analysis. If we must appropriate blames for the present woes in our economy, the largest chunk of that blame definitely goes to the PDP that failed to save or diversify our economy even in the recent years of plenty. The new administration inherited an economy which was on a mega-speed nosedive. Expecting this downward trend to be reversed instantly in 6 transitional months, especially when oil prices are even still falling further, that is purely okada-man mentality. Some blame goes to the new administration though for their delays in forming a proper economic team; but overall, no sensible assessment can be made of the new regime's performance until at least 2 years. |
FreeGlobe:Nigeria experienced its lowest ever GDP growth rate of 2.35% in the 2Q of 2015. At that time, the PDP and the HERO of Otuoke was still largely in-charge. Presently, the GDP has risen a little to 2.84% in the 3Q and we yet to know the average value in this 4Q. Considering a rapid plunge of the nation's GDP growth rate from about 6% in 4Q 2014 to 2.35% in 2Q 2015, it is only a capital dunce or just a mere ignoramus that would attribute that helpless nosedive to the new administration. |
So how exactly am I suppose to believe the office of the SGF when it states that budget for 2010 independence celebration was N1.7 billion? Wasn't this the same year when it was celebrated that the budget for golden jubilee was reduced from N10bn to N6bn? Or are the figures posted simply the fraction of the total anniversary budget which goes to the office of the SGF? |
KelvinC1: DerKaiser:The keyword in my statement was 'Geopolitically' |
All the GEJ shiit lickers association members would soon start appropriating glory to ghost statistics... ![]() |
drshrewd:Was the governor supposed to build the schools and also help the schools cut overgrown grasses too? |
Strengthening Nigeria's international ties and rebuilding our international reputation is extreeeeeeeemely important; that's exactly what Pa Buhari is doing. There's no point explaining this because 99% of the people here (irrespective of political leanings) will not understand. |
Blackfire:Geopolitically speaking, Benue (where the best candidate hails from) is referred to as north. ![]() |
pickabeau1:Paris to Lagos trip; flight computers failed just as plane plane was about to take off (lucky to still be on the ground); we taxi back to the dock; they call in engineers to fix the plane; about 3 hours later, we are still locked inside the grounded plane with engineers battling to fix it (luckily the A/C was ON unlike some Arik cases ); agitations increases for them to let us out of the plane or give us some food; they say the only food they have was reserved for airborne sharing; captain of the plane who had since been silent finally speaks up but adds salt to injury by threatening those agitating to go back to their seats or face disciplinary action This misguided outburst leads to increased agitations; eventually the door opens and we step out on the tarmac; Lo and behold, the tarmac was lined with heavily armed anti-riot police; many saw it as an insult that they brought policemen for us because we were black Nigerians; the shouting match continued (this time even with the quiet policemen that were even minding their business); I stepped back into the lounge and sat there another 5 hours before they managed to replace the flight. In all, my flight was delayed by almost 10 hours, we landed Lagos after 1am as against 4pm when we were meant to land. I missed my appointments, there was no option of compensation (even though the shouting match continued by some people who were insistent they must be compensated). I didn't bother myself about the delay, or a compensation, cos in the typical African manner, I was more grateful to be alive than to be angry about the delays. At the end, I re-learnt a lesson which I already knew before, "if AirFrance with a fleet size of 235 air crafts could delay me by 10 hours without an explanation or compensation even at their HQ (Charles de Gaulle), then I would be pushing my luck too far if I don't expect worse from Arik with a fleet size of 24. |
Gbam!! There's always a second (and a third) side to every story. Oga Ogbonna has spoken. Patiently awaiting the response from EFCC and ICPC. |
CHANGE! We need more of this! |
Hmmm... that's an interesting leap. What about WAEC? |
OZAOEKPE:I knew some drunk pained losers still yet to recover from election loss hangover will blame Buhari for being unable to solve in 6 months, something GEJ and the entire PDP machinery could not solve in 16 years. Contunuu! Thank God for the life of the Op, bird strikes are a serious problem in the aviation industry. And as for the delays by Arik due to the cancelled flight, Arik isn't alone in that mess; Airfrance did same to me some months back and that's when I confirmed where Arik was learning this mess from. |
ionsman:Don't mind the drunkards who are desperately trying to be clever by half. |
anonimi:Quit being clever by half... You have deceived yourself to the point where you now believe your own lies. The GDP growth chart you even posted above clearly shows an uncontrollable nosedive from late 2014 till mid-2015 from where it is clear that the values are bouncing back. The last time I checked, the maladministration of your hero extended to the tail end of the 2nd quarter of 2015 (which represents the worst economic performance on that chart). if you were half as intelligent as you think you were, you would have clearly seen that the image you posted invalidates your own argument. Here's a better image to show true trend of the GDP growth under your hero. After taking over a robust economy, the free-fall can clearly be seen from the general trend line since 2010.
