I want to know if CBN and NCC are now revenue generating agencies.
According to the 11th paragraph of the president's speech that says
"In addition to NNPC, I have ordered for a
complete audit of our other revenue generating agencies mainly CBN, FIRS,
Customs, NCC, for better service delivery
to the nation."
CBN is simply a bank owned by the FG and they generate massive revenue for the government. CBN generates revenue the same way in which commercial banks do. I'm sure this short report below will answer your question.

http://www.businessdayonline.com/NG/index.php/banking-a-finance/49040-cbn-tops-list-of-revenue-generation-for-2012

As for NCC, that should be common sense, they regulate all telecoms companies and issue licenses which are paid for and renewed regularly.

Sanusi is 36yrs older than the girl in question. She is younger than his eldest daughter for Christ sakes!

Sanusi gave the flimsy excuse of marrying the young adamawa princess as a diplomatic move to strengthen bonds between his emirate and that of Adawawa kingdom.

If this is the reason for marrying this young girl then I am very sure there are other emirs across northern Nigeria that will like to strengthen ties with Kano emirate and the House of Sanusi . So why is Sanusi not marrying any of his young daughters to some old grimy scary ab0ki emir?
Look here mister, stop drinking panadol for another person's headache. There is absolutely no illegality in what Sanusi has done, be it under Nigerian law or international law. 36 years age gap and so fvcking what?... Is the girl in question complaining to you or are her parents complaining?... Are Sanusi's older wives complaining or are his older children complaining?

It may interest you to know that the parents of the girl in question are also very highly educated and enlightened elites. Not long ago, Yaradua as the president of Nigeria gave out two of his young daughters to 2 different northern governors (Kebbi and Katsina governors). It is their culture and you should respect that as long as these girls are no more minors.

Is this the first time you have seen a marriage with a 36 years gap?.... Is there any part of Nigeria or any part of the world where that does not happen?... Is Oshiomole not over 30years older than his new wife?... Do you want me to drop a list of several Nigerians and world personalities who have married much younger women?... Prince Charles of the UK, do you know the age gap between he and his late wife princess Diana?.... Are you more civilised than all these other people?

That you do not subscribe to a certain practice does not mean you should insult and condemn people who have no problem with it. I personally would find it very difficult to date or marry a person more than 5 years younger, but that is not to say I should condemn people who have no problem with it.

You need to learn to mind your business; the world would be a better place if people learnt to mind their business.

Haha... You are not far from the truth, the north alone cannot win a presidency, in fact, no single region alone can win a presidency without the cooperation of another zone. Hence PMB couldn't win the presidency until he was able to gain supporters outside his zone. With this in mind, you are yet to explain how the PDP intends to break the confidence the north/middle belt/SW has for buhari. You have still not explained how the PDP intends to achieve that, and also, how the PDP intends to force Igbos to close their shops to come vote for an hausa man.

Let's put aside all forms of political differences and reason this out in black and white as matured and serious people. GEJ met a foreign reserve + ECA funds of over $60billion in 2010 but left barely about $28.5billion foreign reserve + about $2.2billion in ECA account when he left office in 2015. In addition, under GEJ's 5 year rule, Nigeria was blessed with the highest global oil prices ever with an average of $100 per barrel (you can easily google to confirm all this). Now, let's honestly put aside all political differences and reason like ordinary Nigerians, do you really call that progress?

The party also said it would not repeat the “mistakes” it made in 2015.

Details later…

http://www.punchng.com/news/pdp-zones-2019-presidential-ticket-to-north/
The mistake the PDP made in 2015 wasn't zoning the presidency to the SS, the mistake was fielding Jonathan. Jonathan was an inexcusable failure of a leader and had PDP fielded someone else from the SS with even a little bit of credibility, there's no way the old general would have won that election. A lot of people especially from the SW and middle belt grudgingly voted Buhari not because they loved him, but rather because they believed there was an urgent need to kick Jonathan aside.

The 2015 election wasn't about enthroning Buhari, rather it was about removing GEJ.

Then come 2019, PDP fielding a northerner is a total waste of time. Northerners worship Buhari and fielding a northerner would not in anyway break the ranks of PMB's northern followers. Down in the south, a typicaly Igbo man will not be bothered about going out to vote for a northerner just because he's in the PDP.

Suffice it to say, PDP has no chance in 2019 except PMB decides not to contest and then APC fields a clown.

Politics › Re: BREAKING News::Why Global Leaders Boycotted Buhari’s United Nation’s Address by obailala(m):
Marksule:
■ A conclave of world leaders, international media, and other delegates who thronged the United Nation’s General Assembly’s seventieth session were nowhere to be found when Muhammadu Buhari, President of Nigeria, addressed the general debate on September 28, and the poor outing was conspicuously appalling.

What seemed like a mass boycott of President Buhari’s speech may be associated with his nonchalant attitude and a lack of seriousness in communicating severe security issues related to the Boko Haram killings, it was gathered. International Guardian’s correspondent in New York for the event reported a lonely frazzled speaker, sweltering as he imperceptibly picked his words from a written script. “At some point, I thought he was talking to himself,” said Joel McHenry, another delegate, a Canadian-based observer who spoke to our newsroom.

Another delegate associated with the United States office of the Secretary of States categorically labelled Buhari’s absence and attitude over issues of security as “utterly dismissive.” “World leaders are so engaged with regions serious about their agenda, and Nigeria has not shown that enthusiasm,” he said. In July, International Guardian reported how President Muhammad Buhari’s exorbitant visit to the United State emitted some horrible stakes causing the White House to voice out complete disappointed about a total lack of preparedness by the Nigerian contingent to discuss vital issues about both countries. The Obama administration had also decried a poor presentation of policy needs and updates made by the Nigerian leader.

President Buhari’s UN outing has equally been riddled with controversy over poor logistics, lackadaisical preparations, and process incomprehensibility. First, he had missed a United Nation’s meeting in which countries affected by Boko Haram's violence pleaded for assistance for those displaced by the insurgency. In a region where millions are being displaced by the Islamist outfit, Nigeria’s absence from this meeting was seen as blow to a global collaboration for assistance over war against terrorism. For instance, a few weeks ago, the Geneva-based International Organization for Migration estimated that at least 2.1m Nigerians have been displaced since the group began violence in 2009.

Another embarrassment yet plagued President Buhari's outing when he was prevented from meeting Pope Francis for arriving late at the facility, and aimlessness using the wrong gate. As a process, presidents, governmental heads, and delegates are expected to arrive early for UN engagements, and facilitators often brief diplomatic officers ahead of time to avoid process failures. It was not clear what happened in President Buhari’s case as his entourage, handlers, and the Nigerian embassy staff were busy trading blames about the shameful outings.
It may be recalled that in July, the President fired all non-career Nigerian ambassadors in foreign countries in what he called an effort to "reposition the country’s foreign policies." In September consequently, he announced a proposed shutdown of some Nigerian Embassies and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, claiming his actions would cut down costs and wasteful spending. Since these changes, operations at most Nigeria’s foreign offices have been disorderly and structurally unproductive. It was not clear if the prevailing rigid work environment in these offices was the cause of President Buhari’s UN humiliation, but as one of the Nigerian delegates who anonymously spoke to International Guardian in New York put it, “I will not make guesses, but I can assure you that heads will roll.”

You sabi book cheesy
Politics › Re: Solve This Maths And You Are A Genius. by obailala(m):
Calculating... Wow!... this simple problem almost got me crazy here in the office.

Answer is 7.778 mins

If all pipes are opened at the same time, the tank fills in 6.667 mins, but when 'B' is opened 1 minute after 'A', and 'C' is opened 1 minute after 'B', then the tank fills in 7.778 mins

Assuming:
Tank capacity = T

Flowrate of pipe A = T/20
Flowrate of pipe B = T/30
Flowrate of pipe C = T/15

Total time used in filling tank = t (mins)
Pipe A runtime = t
Pipe B runtime = t-1
Pipe C runtime = t-2

Tank capacity = (Total Flowrate) * (Total time)

T = (T/20)t + (T/30)(t-1) + (T/15)(t-2)
T = (Tt/20) + (Tt/30 - T/30) + (Tt/15 - 2T/15)
After some voodoo on the above equation....
70T = 9Tt
70 = 9t
t = 7.778 mins

ddippset:
Wait. Answer is 6.667 minutes. Wait for explanation. Let the capacity of the tank be X. Then the Pipes have flow rates of x/30, x/20 and x/15 per minute respectively. So the total flow rate all working together would be x/30+x/20+x/15=3x/20 lets say litres per minute. Now the time for the 3 would be capacity divided by flow rate = X divided by 3x/20= 20/3=6.667 minutes. CLAP FOR ME!
PassingShot:
Your question is meant to read "how many minutes will be required to fill the tank if all pipes were switched on at the same time?"

The answer is 6.66 minutes. I will explain it:

Let the tank size x be assumed to be 100 liters.

If Pipe A can fill it in 20 minutes, pipe A pumps 5 liters per minute (100/20)
If Pipe B can fill it in 30 minutes, it then pumps 3.33 liters per minute (100/30min)
If Pipe C can fill it in 15 mins, then it pumps 6.6 liters per minute (100/15)

When all pipes are switched on together, they jointly pump about 15 liters per minute (5+3.33+6.6 liters).

Therefore, to fill 100 liter tank, 6.6666 approx. 6.76 minutes will be needed (100/15 liter per minute).

NB: Irrespective of the figure used for the tank capacity, the same result/answer will be achieved. The reason being that you will eventually divide the tank capacity assumed (30, 50, 100 or whatever figure) by what can be jointly pumped by the pipes in one minute (which varies according to capacity assumed).

Where is my prize OP?
You smart asses obviously missed where the question said "in one successive minutes"
