MsRemarkable: The post sha long.
All I know is that the daughters of such men end up with older men too. Karma no dey do that one with anybody. Forget that karma story o, the trait of marrying grandpas almost only manifests amongst poor ladies. If 'such men' are wealthy enough, dia daughters don't get betrothed to grandpas unless maybe that particular daughter is physically, mentally, emotionally and/or psychologically disadvantaged so much that she can't really bring a decent man home. An exception to this, is wen the girl and/or her wealthy parents are very greedy. |

Joy1706: Please I will want to know the opinion of people. My husband insists I dish his food. For instance, if I set the food on the table with plates and cutlery, he prefers I dish onto his plate, that it shows complete service.i think otherwise because I might be busy attending to other chores. This morning he almost left for work without taking breakfast and when i asked why he was leaving, he said the service was not complete. So I had to leave what I was doing to dish food for him.

sigiyaya: The issue of KONGI is becoming so alarming and very serious in this country, it is no longer a problem for our youths or for the old nor for a particular gender in our society, research also has it that some married men and women go through these unhealthy phenomenon, it is also on news that the dead also suffer from this problem. In fact it has become a problem for every body in this country. I will therefore urge the federal government lead by president Muhammadu Buhari GCFR to look into this ugly situation, and as a matter of urgency do something about it.I strongly believe that a total eradication of these will go a long way on addressing the problem the youths and olds are facing everyday in this country as a result of this monster called KONGI. I hereby advocate that the federal government should please swing it to action immediately in other to arrest this problem and put a smile on the faces of its citizens as every responsible government will. Too much pretence na im dey cause all these rampant cases of paedophilia. When grown up men and women go just choose to stay celibate pretending to be 'religious and /or disciplined /decent '. Have sexual partners (as grownups) or visit brothels, dem no go gree. When finally the pressure builds up to uncontrollable levels, you'd see them resorting to kids or cucumbers. Weird people; strange society. Cracking down on brothels and commercial s.ex houses but indulging and/or actively(or passively) encouraging sexual abuse and rape of minors. Many Nigerians supported and believed in APC, ryt? But many Nigerians are also dumb and dull na. So you see the correlation? Looking at the pedigree of APC bigwigs, it's hard for any rational Nigerian to believe whatever they said during the election campaign. But dumb people will always be dumb. And dumb people are easy to deceive and scam. Get it in brain, nothing spectacular will come out of this APC, it's hard for lies to cohabit with progress. GEJ and his cabinet may be corrupt but the bigwigs in APC and dia 'statesman' grand patron have no moral justification to call any Nigerian corrupt. |

madridguy: Which people environment is continually degraded ? My brother I will advise you big up mentally. Stop seeing Hausa/Fulani or Yoruba as the problem of you people. From your comment so far I am sure you must be from the Niger Delta region. You have allowed the wrong preaching of your leaders to blind your sense of reasoning. Let me just ask you a simple question, what has the Niger Delta ministry did so far to help the region ? The last time here there was a report from Otuoke that there is no portable water for people to drink. The Bayelsa population is not up to my local government population here in Lagos, I mean Alimosho local government and its receiving bigger allowance more than states with more population. Now ask yourself, from the federal government allocation, Niger delta allocation and fund from the Oil and gas companies why is this region still like this ? Few people from the region has diverted all these money to their personal pocket and make their gullible followers just like you to believe Hausa and Yoruba are your problems. GEJ, Orubebe, Boyloaf, Asari to mention fews are you peoples problem. Yes. Misappropriation of public funds has always been an issue especially in developing countries but does that invalidate true federalism/resource control? With true federalism in place, the people can directly make demands from and/or hold their local leaders liable since these so called leaders won't have any more excuses. That said, I think the so called leaders you mentioned aren't the only problem. For example, look at the pattern of ownership of oil blocks in Nigeria, outsiders are more favored compared to the real hosts. I believe this is one of the major reasons true federalism is being kicked against by many from the other side. Not because they have the interest of the hosts at heart, it's simply borne out of an insatiable drive to continue the leeching process. |

olokedde: Although there were speculations that President Buhari’s soft spot for Colonel Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd.) would get him an appointment, no one knew he was going to be made the Comptroller-General, Nigerian Customs Service. Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd.) Newly appointed Comptroller-General, Nigerian Customs Service
Born January 15, 1955, Col. Ali was a military administrator of Kaduna State, Nigeria from August 1996 to August 1998 during the military regime of General Sani Abacha. Below are top 7 things you need to know about the new Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) boss.
1. The prominent figure during the military era holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Criminology.
2. For years, President Buhari has had a soft spot for Colonel Ali and his life style, hence the new appointment. is an admirer of Ali’s life style.
3. Colonel Ali who was in charge of the management of Buhari’s campaign funds has just one wife and four children.
4. The newly appointed NSC boss retired from the army unceremoniously when Olusegun Obasanjo was the Nigerian presidency. This, he did, without any scandalous report.
5. Just like President Buhari, Colonel Ali is a farmer, a poultry farmer that still drives a 504 Peugeot saloon car.
6. After retiring, Colonel Ali who is of steely character suitable for incorruptible values became Secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum, a northerm lobbying group, and a supporter of Major General Muhammadu Buhari in his bid to run for president. In June 2006 Ali was reported to have said that the North would get back the presidency in 2007.
7. He was the Chief of Staff to Muhammadu Buhari before being appointed as the Comptroller-General, Nigerian Customs Service.

[s][/s] He drives a Peugeot 504 and so what? How about his wife and four children? Do they also drive a Peugeot 504? He has only one wife; how many a normal man suppose get? BTW, how many side chics him get? You no mention that one. I no get problem with the man, but OP, let's stop making ordinary people appear as saints. I hear say him follow sentence saro wiwa; since he's so full of integrity, did his conscience tell him that was the right thing to do? Make we see weda him go continue to dey use Peugeot 504 this time. We're really in the endtime, the alarming increase in the number of weird, dull and dumb people, especially in my country is testament to that. |
