It is high time we did something about china products, just yesterday i bought a solar powered power bank, for a huge amount of money because i thought it would save me the stress of carrying phone charger about, so i bought it.

when i got home i discovered something the power bank seems to be photosensitive, as its charging led flashes when under the sun,
but this is just a hoax, it doesnt charge, i left it in the sun for close to 2days now, and it doesnt have any charged voltages for my phone, it just flashes its led when in the sun so the buyer assumes its realy working but its not.
i dont know how they did it, but they did it, its a fake solar power bank,
here is what it looks like, does this happen anywhere else or only in Nigeria?

Op the problem is between the greedy importer and buyer,i blame buyers mostly because about 90% of power banks in Alaba International are not up to the mAh that they claim it to be,(i am in the market myself) for instance,I am finding it difficult to sell complete 10,000mAh that I have because most people will do real 4000mAh and label it 10000nAh and sell it cheaper and customers doesn't know all these.Some customers will be looking for cheap ones and as a seller you want to sell so,some are forced to join when they see that they can't beat them.Any power bank above 10000mAh more chances are that it is fake.If we check the price you bought this your 25000mAh you will see that you belong to the type of customers I earlier talked about(the one that push most people into importing fake) because if you ever gets real 25000mAh power bank, it will not be less than 15K.

My cousin applied law in this year's jamb and also wrote the post utme exams but unfortunately her name was not released and she took the supplementary form and the staff at the school's admission unit told her she will be admitted to study Islamic Studies.
But this girl is a devoted born again Christian and since the doctrines of Islam and that of Christianity are in direct contradiction as it might affect her walk with the Lord. She requests for advice.

I had this call on tuesday morning from a strange number, the caller told me I needed to see her in the hospital, dan abia precisely, that ma girlfriend was on admission,she called her name ( ma girlfriend's name)...when I got there, my girl was admitted already, so many question popped out, but her friend was unable to gimme answers, so I decided to meet the doctor, when i asked him what the problem was, he told the abortion she did was not successful, the operation didn't go well,

I was like: who went for abortion? who was aborted?
he said my girl had an abortion somewhere and the operation wasn't proper, that she was bleeding seriously when her friends brought her, he asked me if I was not away base on how i reacted, I was shocked to the point I have to take medication to help recover, this is someone that claimed her virginity was intact and she wouldn't want to lose it till she marries, I loved and respected her wish, I never knew she was only acting along all this while..

God! that was way 2 much for me, I made the necessary payment for her treatment and left.. she called on that tuesday night, I picked and heard she was okay, so I told her to take care of her self and I ended the call...

My landlord and his wife, along with some other neighbors think I'm a wicked person that doesn't like children. This is because I don't allow their children come to play in my apartment. Let me tell you the short story:

I moved in about 7 months ago, and my landlord lives just beside my flat. Everyday, his children (ages 2, 6 and 9) always come to knock that they want to come and play. Sometimes they say they want to watch cartoons since I have a dstv.

The problem is, I live alone, I'm single and I don't have any children for them to play with. I spend most of my time at work except weekends when I love to cook. The children usually come during weekends.

I decided not to let them come and play because I've been hearing about "65 yr old rapes this", " 25 yr old defines that ". I'm still very young, and please don't get me wrong: I'm not saying I have plans to defile anyone's child or that I'm capable of doing that.

I usually see these children going to other flats and other houses on the street to " play" and I don't want a case where someone will defile any of them and I automatically become a suspect, that's why I decided not to let them come in. In fact, when they knock, I don't even answer once I know it's them.

Now, people in the area are saying I'm a bad person that's why I don't like children. I don't want to tell them my reasons.

Dear nairalanders, did I do the right thing? Is there a better way of handling this situation?

You are not wrong at all, these children can put one in trouble at times,when I was staying with my elder brother I had an experience, I am the type that doesn't like playing with children and I hustle from Monday to Sunday, the only time I spend in that house is 7pn to 8am.One day one of the kids complained about pain in her bumbum during bath and her mother enquired she said that I am the one that fingered her,when her dad came back from work,they told him, the man dismissed it as untrue that I don't have time for such thing but the women in the compound were talking about it at my back,I get to know about it from my brother's girlfriend, when I confronted the parents the father said that I should not take it serious that it is one of the women's gossips but I was so furious because the rumour has been going on for months,since then I don't even allow them near our apartment.So,I don't think you're doing the wrong thing by not letting them in because it is very painful when people accuse you wrongly and if such should be your case believe me people will hardly exonerate you couple with the fact that child rape is on the increase now.

No court in Nigeria will grant such prayer (divorce), court can only dissolve your traditional marriage but to dissolve marriage contracted in a Catholic church is not possible because of the procedure.
