Especially in an environment like ours, where you can find graduates earning as low as 20k per month.
The part that annoys me most about the ad isnt even this, its the 42Mbps claim. Are they mad? 42Mbps? The fastest average in the world is in South Korea at around 17Mbps and in the UK its around 8Mbps i think.

Where do these people want to start from? I hope they have ways to move the money they might have saved in UK Bank Accounts to Nigeria. It is not a good experience getting deported from any country. They will have to start all over again, you know. Nigeria is not a terrible place to live in though there are a lot of things that still need to be done in the country. The British Government and the UK Border Force have intensified their efforts on locating and removing illegal immigrants from the UK. The Indians, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis are the most targeted among the ethnic minority groups in Britain. Hundreds of them who are illegal immigrants are being picked up and deported on a Monthly Basis.

Sometimes, Nigerians get deported due to their own fault. If you know you're an illegal, why are you getting yourself involved in Credit Card Scams, Internet Dating Scams etc? Are you not placing a curse on yourself in the process? Some Nigerians without valid residence documents will be trying to claim benefits and in the end, they get caught by the authorities who then discover that they are illegal. If you don't have papers, just keep your head down and try to sort yourself out of the mess you've found yourself in. If you're honest, God will help you in due time. I pray for the 120 deported Nigerians that they will still do well in life. Don't Lose hope. Cheers.

Some of you guys are being very silly by comparing the SA issue to this.

The UK has always deported illegal immigrants back to their country of origin, it didn't start today, it wont stop tomorrow. What the UK has not done and will never do is deport a plane load of people with genuine VISAs obtained from their high commission because there are doubts on the authenticity of a medical cert.

While i do feel bad for those 120 people who have had their lives suddenly and dramatically altered, this was a risk they always knew they faced. You have to ask yourself what quality of life they were living in the UK. Being illegal they probably did menial jobs earning less than minimum wage a day. Extremely hard to live on that here. Or if the alternative is they would be involved in some sort of criminal activity, or even living on welfare, and this is what the UK government abhors more.

Finally, i dont think anyone can blame the government in this case. Yes Nigeria is hard and all, but what about the hundred million + other people that are there struggling to make a living. How about those who never had the option to run away and be illegal in a system that doesnt want you there in the first place?

I also trace the mail sent to me by Vio-dvla and Riverland hospital and the result were all most the same for example,
the Sender IP for Pawa774- 10.252.0.104
the Sender IP for Vio-dvla- 10.252.0.105
the Sender IP for Riverland Hospital- 10.252.0.106

Even though i may not be able to interpret some of this result but why the similarities, does this mean that the mail purportedly send by three different organisations are being sent from this same place?
With my little knowledge of IP I think this mails are being sent from the same source, Pls correct me if am wrong.



You not wrong. they are using all this web based email account. The IP gave them away. No same companies have the same IP address.Its obvious by their IP address the 3 companies are on the same network.

You guys are both wrong. Any IP address that starts with 10. or 172.16-172.32, or 192.168.x.x is a private address, So in this case the source address is probably a mail server at your ISP or something. Im not sure exactly how mail routing works, but both mails having 10.x.x.x as thier source just means it came from within your network.

Its funny how I had this exact arguement with some idiots people on 234next this time last year when Unilag produced a record number of 1st class graduates. I tried to explain how the University system works, how it is practically impossible not to merit your 1st class i.e get it through backdoor means, and how the fact that Unilag changed thier admission policy exactly 4 years before last year, such that a large number of the students that DO get in are actually the brightest and best, not people who found a way to cheat in Jamb.

The sad truth is that now having a 1st class degree doesnt even guarantee you a job anymore. Not because it is now commonplace, but just becaause thats how things are now. First class or not you still have to write annoying psyhcometric tests and 7 rounds of interviews or something crazy, for jobs that are not many for the taking in the 1st place.

But my question is why the India trip? People are doing CCNA in Nigeria and scoring 100% all the time. Of all the three certs, only the last one CCIE, which is like PhD of Networking actually needs one to leave our shores to pursue.
My advice is let him stay here and get his CCNA, get a hands on experience and then pursue the rest.

People are using dumps in Nigeria to get 100 percent, this route wont get you very far though,,,youll get the certification quite all right but not the knowlege that comes with it. if he is studious im sure he can make it in India. Truth of the matter is, this increase in power generation/supply occurs almost every year and then we all get very excited that goverment is working and then it detiorates. I think its too early to pat ourselves or anyone on the back just yet. When there is a sustained noticeable change over a considerable amount of time, say 6 months or 1 year, then we can exault Jonthan and Nnaji to the highest heavens.

I think they call the bank in every case, and you will be fine IF the money in your account still meets the amount required for Fees and Maintenance. If it doesnt it would be wise maybe to borrow some money and jus keep it there till you get your visa?

Hey Guys, this is quite random but I just found this out, and thought it would be good to share. Im sure its common knowledge that the UK will be stopping their PSW Visa from April next year. However, there's still a (very) slim ray of hope and the possibility of getting some work experience there.

Before your student visa expires you will be able to apply for a job and if you are able to get an offer THEN you will be able to apply for a Tier 2 Skilled Workers VISA. Now Im sure most of you have heard this but what Ive just discovered is that as someone trying to switch from Tier 4 to Tier 2 you will be EXEMPT from the the Resident Labour Market Test which states that the employer (sponsor) has to show that no other UK or EEA nationals can do the job.

This means that if you do apply and succeed in getting a job offer from a company (which has to be on the very long list of Tier 2 sponsors) then you are quite likely to obtain a Tier 2 Visa(well if you meet other criteria) Furthermore if your occupation/field is on the list of those considered to be in shortage in the UK then you will very easily meet the required number of points!
