emyibe: CAUGHT IN THE ACT…Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, (right) Colonel K. I. Yusuf Tuesday 17th July.Fear the Lord when spreading Dodo...how would he be court martialled for a traffic offence? |
Where is the proof? "Reports reaching us..." is not proof. If she did do it then it is a shame that the highest Judicial officer in the land does not know to respect the laws she is meant to uphold. |

I hope you read this but my advice would be not to worry about the Future. 6 or 7 years is a long time but its not like either of you is goin to prison and asking the other to wait. You guys will be in the relationship together for that time, and if it comes that you have to seperate and go your seperate ways, then it will happen, and while you might be hurt you will move on. But if you are meant to be, then you will be. There is nothing stopping you from getting married during the course of your degree. |
~You guys are rioting because of a 15k increment in tuition? |

Patryk_Utulu: Throughout this week I’ve received text messages and e-flags from friends here in USA, Canada, UK and Australia arguing the pros and cons of the vital debate question: can African immigrants pass the very tough and rugged professional exams needed to become doctors/lawyers/engineers/scientists, etc., OR do all African immigrants (even those educated in Africa) end up as taxi drivers, dish washers, house cleaners, etc.? My honest answer is that it depends: on age, focus, personal circumstances, dedication, ambition, the type of friends you have and most importantly, on whether you are the type of person who allow other people to dissuade you from your goals and objectives. Yes, about 90% of African immigrants end up in manual and menial jobs but all immigrants (no matter their origin) face a lot of problems. As human transplants (like transplanted trees) immigrants have fragile foundations and can fall easily. However, about 10% of African immigrants not only survive but succeed. I don’t have the formula for success. Nobody does. But here’s my advice: you can make it as an immigrant but first, you must know what you want, be willing to go after it like there’s no tomorrow, be able to tune out those who dissuade you, and most importantly, pick the right kind of friends. For 4 years I worked full time from 8:00AM–5:00PM and attended law school from 6:30PM–10:00PM. I graduated with good grades and passed the bruising 2-day all-day Bar Exam at first attempt. Today I am an attorney. Note: this is NOT about me. I merely used myself to illustrate that if I can do it so can you. Just follow your own dream and if you need legal advice about how to immigrate to America and/or how to prep for a good education or for a professional exam in America,or want to set up a business in America, I’ll help. Trust yourself: you can succeed in the Western World. Don’t listen to the naysayers. You can do it. Good luck! What does this have to do with anyhthing? |
LMFAO..they want him to proove he is gay...ROTF....make dem go watch am now...lolololo |
Couldnt even understand the article, horrible (mis)use of the English Language |
Its truely a novel idea @OP, you should definitely go for it. Try to get more companies and organisations on bored, im sure like red bull many people see the advertising potential e.g telcos who might want to advertise that thier product works everywhere u go. You should plan seriously though. This kind of adventure requires some serious logistics and mental and physical training. Im sure it wont take less than a month to walk the distance. Go for it man! dont mind the ignorant ones discouraging you |
This looks fake...a 300million naira per table (lol) event will at least have a better flyer...without typos and better designed |

Would have been nice if you attributed this post to the blog you copied and pasted it from. Also blogging isnt a real job either. The original writer should consider that as well |
I might sound harsh, but I would advice her to give up and move to a more worthwhile endeavour. Tertiary education is really not for everybody and really doesn't have much to do with how successful she shall be in Future. There are many people who have made it in Nigeria without university degrees. If she cant pass WAEC then what is the guarantee that she will pass in University? 8 years is a very long time. She's better of starting a trade or something. If she's successful in that she can even employ graduates! |
You guys have been truly blessed. I hope I can have a similar testimony, although Her Majesty's Govt or whoever have made it almost impossible to get a good job now. I hope you guys plan to go back home someday with the years of experience you have gained! |
Sisi_Kill: Seriously?! That was the game?"ee a game with good graphics, intense sound effects and sophisticated controls" on a google doodle? For all the trouble of going to Google's homepage..im getting U |
I hope she gets justice. Its really sad the way people like this Okija fellow reason, especially as he is obviously well educated and exposed and articulates his thoughts so well. If people who are meant to be making critical decisons also reason in such a way, then we know why we have so many issues in this country. Crimes are committed everyday, but to suggest not investigating them because the perpatrator's didnt leave their names, ranks, addresses, maybe you want thier Facebook profiles and birth certificates as well,) is just very sad. I hope that whoever is charged with investigating this does not share this kind of point of view and takes it very seriously. If the woman has been identified then she should be forced to divulge the identities of the others. They should all be stripped of whatever rubbish positions they think they have and sent to prison for assault and attempted murder. |
The Military that is meant to protect us is acting just as bad as the Terrorists we fear. How can you tear gas civilians just because someone disrespected you. As if that is not enough, you go home, regroup, and then chop someone's ankle off. And someone here is talking about picking battles wisely? They should be dismissed and then sent to prison. Because of some stupid uniform they wear they are no more human beings abi. |

My honest question is how did God speak to you? If it was via any other human being then that wasnt God but that person speaking to you. You should pray to Him for direction, and he will give you a clarity of mind that comes from only Him. |
adefash: you complain to the bank.of cause there can be mistake on the part of the custodian, loading 500 in 1000 tray.you have to complain to the bank.there are some errors whose cause can be established.u have to count your money even if u have to step aside for others to use the atm while u count it.i'm an atm engineer and i'm speaking as a professional.no system is perfect.Don't you just love it when people who know what they are talking about speak!!! Thank you!!!! |
mxxpunkxx!:You cannot rightly conclude anything my friend. Just admit you are an ITK that can't back the misinformation you are spewing up. When rain falls, an networks start misbehaving, and cash starts being misdispensed, its the corrupt Bank Manager that has invoked rainfall abi? Which then begs the original question, WHY COUNT YOUR MONEY AT THE ATM ?Answer: Because shit happens!! |
pafestula: Exactly d question I wanted to ask them all, even the money is dirty etc, re u going to beat d machine on that, pls lets stop showing public madeness with artificial human, if ATM short paid u b4, pls prove it here because I knw wat to ask u to uncovered yr lies, I do installed ATM, ISP dish, Satellite reciever etc, so lie here and let me get u, mxxpunkxx!:Oga Experts that "do installed" everything..are you not seriously contradicting yourself here? You have mentioned several scenarios and points of failure for the ATM system including human error. if any one of these components is faulty then the Machine will function in an undefined, unspecified manner. Any of which could lead to a partial dispense. The most simple scenario has already been explained many many many times on this thread. Wrong denominations loaded!!! More complex scenarios? The lens or whatever sensor malfunctions and starts counting one note as two. Or some hacker has figured out a virus which bypasses the security system and makes the whole system behave in an erratic manner. Software and Hardware systems are known to fail. Nothing on this earth surface is perfect. Any TRUE technologist knows this and wouldn't tell you NOT to cross check. |
Some of you are just here claiming expert on stuff you know nothing about. When dealing with any kind of computer, you must be aware that errors that no one could have foreseen can happen. The same way an ATM can overpay you, is the same way it can under pay (people have already given countless scenarios, easiest is when who ever loaded the machine has put in the wrong denomination). Is it not better to count the money before you pocket it and leave the vicinity of the ATM. And if you have been mispayed wont it make sense to see how your account balance has been affected? Someone has already mentioned the PARTIAL DISPENSE option when resolving ATM issues. Do you know more than the very designers of these systems who admit that this is a possible occurrence and have put in the measures to handle this kind of exception? |
'Horn' when the light turns amber even if you are several cars behind the light. The driver next to the light might be asleep, or colour blind, and will appreciate this kind gesture |
Lov4sat: If I be you I go give thanks to god for the baby face. when other are worried about the weekly shaving and other side effects that comes with it some body is here looking to grow face hair abi wetin you call amWeekly? abi daily |
obo_man: If I'm in a position to interview candidates, creativity and problem-solving skills would be what I will be looking for, rather than their ability to spell.Makes sense..but depends on the kind of job |
antitpiah: But this is not HP. And definitely not anywhere close to Apple, not in this lifetime. You want us to compete with China? Have we beaten Ghana first? You do know China is the world's largest exporter and fastest growing economy right? |
oche_ejemb: You guys are so clever!!! Where are the Ipad, Nexus, Galaxy and almost every other thing in this world manufactured..in the US? in Finland? Instead of supporting your own, you are here making judgements as if you have ever done anything worth recognition. As for me, I certainly would buy the tablet, if it is cheaper but as good as any other tablet. Especially if it comes with a warranty valid in Nigeria, and can be fixed by a trained technician in Nigeria.Yes, I am unintelligent because you say so, and you are so knowledgeable and smart. The problem is you have failed to raise any valid point with this your post here. You affirm that indeed all these devices are manufactured in China, even if they are designed elsewhere. How is this any different from what Adepoju says he has done? Designed in Lagos, Manufactured in China! Obviously, he doesn't have the resources (or even the support) to invest millions of dollars into R and D, but he has come up with specifications he feels would do well in the Nigerian environment. Take for example, RIM's Playbook, which is a very wonderful piece of hardware, but quite useless in Nigeria as it connects exclusively via WiFi. The Apple and Samsung variants which can run on 3G cost considerably more than this. And Google has everyone shitting their pants anyways with the release of the Nexus. Most people's gripe on here is the fact that the device is 'Made in China', another low quality China product. Again I ask, at the risk of sounding intensely moronic to your obviously superior intelligence, what isn't made in China (even if its designed in the US, or Korea or in Heaven) Have you been to the factory they are made? How do you know its a 5 - 10 man assembly plant without any QA procedures? If you don't have these facts on any verifiable authority, are you not just a bad-belle hater envious of someone doing something with his life? Adepoju is trying to build a brand here, and is probably fully aware of the cheap spec tabs in the market, having actually gone to the same China they are made. He could have very much have done the same thing as the Otigba boys, imported a few thousand 75 dollar tablets, stuck his name on it if need be, and sold it for 100 dollars. If it spoils in one month, who cares, he's laughing at the bank. I admit, maybe in comparison to other tablets, Inye might need to go down on the price, but how does he do this a. without compromising the quality of the product (which is already under question from you guys without even seeing the damn thing) b. while maintaining a profit such that it even makes any type of sense for him to remain in this line of business. According to this interview anyways, he'd very much like to go down on the price. But he needs considerable funding to be able to do that. If Nigerian investors are anything like your intelligent, visionary selves then sadly its going to be a very tough endeavour for this guy. I wish him all the best, the sky is wide enough for all the stars to shine. http://techloy.com/2012/03/16/cnn-interviews-encipher-ceo-saheed-adepoju-video/ |
Well, it means 25k is what everyone else would pay for entering the BRT lane. They shouldnt be made to pay more or less than what any other citizen would have. Dismissing them would certainly be an overkill, would you get sacked from your non-military job for such an offence? |
