South East deserve the VP position under Atiku because they kept PDP alive, SW is in total control of APC, Atiku should not make a mistake of choosing a VP from SW, SW should stick with APC Buhari.

Atiku should concentrate on SE, SS, NC and NE, he will win without Yoruba vote.

SW will not take over from Buhari, the north is very greedy for power, if Osinbajo becomes APC presidential bearer in 2023, all northerners will decamp to PDP to go and support a PDP northern candidate in 2023.

The South West is seriously angling for the Presidency in 2023 and it's best bet is the Vice Presidency,anything else won't persuade them to vote against APC. Currently,it is the dominant political bloc in the southwest that is backing Prof osibanjo so PDP will give APC a strong edge if it goes to another zone for its Vice presidency slot. It is not that I am particularly happy that the southeast has a lesser chance but PDP will lose the election if doesn't field Southwest

On what ground should SW be looking for presidency in 2023 after having 8 years of Obasanjo presidency not long ago, so SE, NC and NE that have not produced presidency since 1999 are just sit down dey look abi.

SW will always divide their vote,they will like to seat on the wall as usual, they didn't vote for Buhari massively in 2015, that is why the Northerners was telling Yorubas that without their vote that Buhari would have won 2015 election.

SE is sure bet for him, he will have 11 state of SE/SS plus 6 state of north central, quarter of SW and NE/NW will give him victory, but it look like INEC will rig the election for Buhari.

The point the op is trying to make,which I totally agree with is that the so called PDP executive leadership left the most important item on their table,defending and frontally taking on APC in the rerun,and where more concerned on where their doomed presidential primaries would hold.
It was obvious APC would use all foul means to win the rerun because their leadership,executive,past and present governors,many of who have shady,criminal backgrounds,have won elections by rigging and gangsterism and have perfected same over the years.
Taking Osun by whatever means in that rerun would have given PDP more leverage than a combination of all their presidential candidates vying together can,but they bungled the opportunity big time.

There is nothing PDP can do in this situation, APC use Army,police, Inec to win the election.
