Door to door testing is best but their constraint is the test kits. They don't have enough test kits.
Jac Ma donated just 20,000 test kits and it will run out soon.

These are areas we needed the president to intervene and coordinate. FG is supposed to have by now placed an order
for at least 10m test kits but they have not. Jac Ma's 20,000 test kits can only test at most 20,000 people whereas Lagos
alone require about 5m.

Hello guys, Let me start by narrating my ordeal, about 2weeks ago I started having my regular symptoms of typhoid and malaria which is back pain, hot breathe, evening fever and change in urine colour, so i rushed to the pharmacy and got malaria drugs.

Fast forward to Saturday 21st,I started coughing but i didn't take it too seriously, but by midnight of that day I woke up with the worst fever and hallucination i have ever experienced, by Sunday morning the fever was gone, but then I had itchy/sore throat coupled with the cough, so i gargled salt and warm water and i got relief from the sore throat.

At exactly 6pm that Sunday, the fever returned but this time more serious than the last one and this time it lasted till Monday morning, at this point I was already on google searching for all the symptoms of CoronaVirus, instantly I called my nurse that I needed injection for malaria and typhoid and she told me no treatment unless i go for a test to confirm if its malaria and typhoid.

The thought of going to the Lab for test made me feel uneasy so i called the NCDC toll-free line (080097000010), I called for 12 good times and each time I was told to hold on but the call gets disconnected, I wasn't going to let myself die of ordinary Typhoid because I want to self isolate so i went to the Diagnosis centre with my nose mask on. At the centre i was dying inside, dying not because I was sick inside or I was afraid of what the result would bring, but dying because I was trying so hard to suppress the urge to cough, because I didn't want to scare people or spread whatever was wrong with me. After 2hrs the result was out and i had malaria and too much typhoid in my body system, I went home gave the nurse the result and she gave me 3 injections for the Malaria and typhoid, and I am much better now than yesterday,and she also prescribed Tutolin for my cough.

I read today about a Nairalander that called the NCDC line today to explain his symptoms and was told they only attend to people that had contact with someone who just came from travel outside Nigeria, with that I can only conclude that there is no seriousness in this Government to fight the Virus, right from the beginning they refused to close all point of entry in the country because they thought its child's play, now they wont even respond to Emergency calls.

Forget the nose mask, the hand sanitizer, once this gets to the common man in Nigeria, who believes they cant get the virus, who still believes the hot weather will kill the virus inside you, who believes the cure for every sickness is either paracetamol or antibiotics, then I am sorry to say, Nigeria might just become worse than italy

*Coronavirus: Compliance with Government Order – Matters Arising*

It has become necessary to issue this statement to clarify issues surrounding why Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, the International Headquarters of Living Faith Church in Ogun State, held church service on Sunday, although with less than half of her regular worshippers.

There have been diverse responses varying from well-meaning concerns to uncharitable insinuations, misinterpretations, and unfounded allegations that the service was held in deliberate defiance of Ogun State Government ban on high-density gatherings, in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. Nothing can be further from the truth.

For avoidance of doubt, as stakeholders and as a responsible organisation, Living Faith Church fully supports and encourages compliance with all initiatives of government to combat the spread of this dreaded virus. However, information has to be strategically disseminated to the grassroot, noting that the Church is a family and not an industry, it is for this reason that enlightenment and sensitization from the Church platform is a most effective way to get people involved in playing their part in terms of prayers and intercessions and not just staying away from Church without knowing what to do.

Invariably, a press release from the office of the CAN President, through his Special Assistant on media on Saturday March 21, 2020, expressed the same position that members who may gather in church premises, many of whom may not be aware of this regulations should be allowed to worship for the purpose of enlightenment on the subject matter.

As we all know, the Church is made up of both literate and illiterate congregants; many are not in touch with any of the modern platforms of communication and this is what we did yesterday. Indeed, the service was devoted entirely to sensitizing and mobilizing members of the Church regarding the danger of this deadly virus and the need to comply with government directives.

The Bishop has since engaged Ogun State Government at the highest level to clarify this issue and any misgivings and reiterated the full support of the church for the State Government’s efforts to ensure public safety, towards curtailing the spread of this deadly virus. He appreciates the opportunity of direct engagement and the understanding of the government. Cooperation to safeguard public safety is not just a moral obligation or civic responsibility; the church also considers it a spiritual duty.

For instance, to show how law abiding our organisation is and in compliance with government directives, all our primary and secondary schools across the nation have been directed to close down. Also, our students at Landmark University, Omuaran, Kwara State were sent back home, while Covenant University Students, who are currently on vacation were instructed to stay back at home while awaiting further directives from government.

As a responsible and law abiding organization we wish to state that will ensure compliance with the government directives in all our churches across the state .

The Church shall continue to engage all necessary logistics to ensure compliance with government directives and continue to pray for speedy divine intervention to stem this deadly virus.

The South Korean Won is a 4 digit currency while the Naira is 3 digit currency. However, in the past, the Naira was a single digit current and only became a tripe digit currency because of high inflation which lead to repeated devaluation of the currency.

For the South Korean Won, the level of depreciation suggest mass printing of notes or ways and means by the CBN. This is hyperinflationary.

However, what matters is inflation.

The South Korean Won has very low inflation. I doubt inflation is ever more than 2.5% annually. How many digits it is inconsequential.

The lower your inflation rate, the more stable it tends to be. Also, the higher your inflation, the more likely you are to lose value against a low inflationary country. It is the general rule.

If the Won suffers from 2.5% inflation and Naira suffers from 11% now, that means the Naira will lose about half its value against the Soluth Korean Won in 10 years time. It could even be more.

Look at the Naira. 10 years ago, it was 155. Inflation has averaged over 10% per annum. What is the exchange rate now? 380 or so. but doesn't u think there is more to exchange rates that are not taught in schools.what Ur take on Nigeria exporting to Africa esp West africa.because the truth is there no jobs in Nigeria because d jobs are in West Africa in a larger context africa.and not overseas.and the naira have always be disadv.for us to export affordable services Nd goods to our west africa brothers.

First of all, i hail the Nigerian doctors who have successfully treated the Italian who brought the virus to the country, who now turns negative. They've done it again as they did in ebola virus days and they deserve commendation for that.

The government of the day must now do the needful to equip our hospitals, provide basic health facilities and improve the conditions of our health workers nationwide because epidemics no dey send warning signs before striking. Our government's primary assignment is to save the lives of those they govern as they're seen as servants to them and not masters.

On cloroquine issue, it can never finish lol. Local pharmaceutical companies would rather commence mass production to help prevent any possible scarcity.
